After attending the three-day-long pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, it’s time for Superstar o head back home.

In the videos captured by paps, he was seen leaving Jamnagar in his white outfit.

During media interaction, Rajnikanth shared his experience and said, “The way Nita and Mukesh Ambani conducted the pre-wedding functions is mesmerizing. They brought down the Kailasha and ‘Baikuntha’ to this world. I wish a very very happy married life to Anant and Radhika.”

Rajinikanth arrived for the festivities with his family on Sunday.

On day 3 bash, he opted for a white shirt which he paired with a beige veshti.

The three-day pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant began on Friday.

Guests from all around the world are in Jamnagar, Gujarat to attend the pre-wedding festivities of Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son, Anant.

Founder and chairperson of Reliance Foundation, Nita Ambani spoke about the pre-wedding function of her son, Anant Ambani, with Radhika Merchant.

She shared the relevance of art and culture and how she is “passionate” about it, saying, “Throughout my life I have been inspired by arts and culture. It has deeply moved me and I am very passionate about it.”

While talking about her son’s wedding she mentioned, “When it came to my youngest son Anant’s wedding with Radhika, I had two important wishes – first, I wanted to celebrate our roots…Jamnagar holds special place in our hearts and has a profound significance. Gujarat is where we come from, it’s where Mukesh and his father built the refinery and I started my career by converting this arid and desert like area into a lush green township and a vibrant community.”

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is busy shooting for Vettaiyan directed by TJ Gnanavel. The film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, and Ritika Singh. The film will be released in the latter part of 2024.

Rajinikanth has joined hands with ace producer Sajid Nadiadwala.

Recently, Grandson dropped a picture of Rajinikanth with Sajid Nadiadwala.

“It’s a true honour to collaborate with the legendary Rajinikanth Sir! Anticipation mounts as we prepare to embark on this unforgettable journey together,” Nadiawala said in a post on X.

Rajinikanth’s First Look From ‘Thalaivar 170’ Out Now

Makers of Rajinikanth starrer ‘Thalaivar 170’ unveiled the first look of the superstar on Wednesday.

The Official page of Lyca Productions took to X to unveil the first look of the superstar.

They wrote, “Lights Camera Clap & ACTION. With our Superstar @rajinikanth and the stellar cast of Thalaivar 170 the team is all fired up and ready to roll! Hope you all enjoyed the Thalaivar feast. Now it’s time for some action! We’ll come up with more updates as the shoot progresses.”

In the monochrome picture, Rajinikanth is dressed in a black suit, a black shirt, and black sunglasses.

TJ Gnanavel directs Thalaivar 170. After 32 years, Amitabh Bachchan will reunite with star Rajinikanth in this film.

Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, Tushara Vijayan, Rana Daggubati, and Fahadh Faasil have also been cast as extras.

Rajinikanth is expected to play a retired police officer in the film. Earlier, he was seen leaving the Chennai airport on his way to Kochi to shoot his next film.

“I am going for the next movie shooting. ‘Jailer’ movie is more successful than what we expected. 170th movie is directed by T J Gnanavel. It is Produced by LYCA which would be a big entertainment movie with a message. The title for the movie is yet to be decided,” he said at the time.

‘Jailer’ Actor G Marimuthu Passes Away Due To Cardiac Arrest

Renowned director-actor G Marimuthu passed away on Friday due to cardiac arrest at a private hospital in Chennai.

He died of cardiac arrest today around 8:30 am at a private hospital in the city.

Marimuthu collapsed while dubbing his voice for a television serial. Then, he was rushed o a private hospital in Vadapalani, where he was declared dead.

Actor’s fans, family members and friends pay tribute to him at his residence in Chennai.

He will be taken to his native place in Theni District by 6 pm today and last rites will be performed.

Marimuthu was recently seen in Rajinikanth starrer ‘Jailer’ movie.

After learning of the filmmaker’s death, the members of the film industry took to social media to pay their condolences.

Sun Pictures, which produced ‘Jailer’ took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and posted, “Condolences! Your work has been impeccable and irreplaceable. Rest in peace #Marimuthu.”

G Marimuthu began his career as a filmmaker with ‘Kannum Kannum’ in 2008. In addition to directing films, he has played a number of interesting roles in Tamil films. He collaborated with lyricist Vairamuthu in the early stages of his career. In Tamil films, he also served as an assistant director.

His memorable performance include ‘Vaali,’ ‘Jeeva,’ ‘Pariyerum Perumal,’ and ‘Jailer,’ to name a few.

He has been a part of the Tamil television series ‘Ethir Neechal’ since 2022. Marimuthu was a YouTube sensation whose opinions trend on social media platforms. (ANI)

Ahead Of ‘Jailer’ Release, Rajinikanth Leaves For Himalayas

Ahead of the release of the film ‘Jailer’, legendary actor Rajinikanth went for a spiritual trip to the Himalayas.

Rajinikanth was spotted at Chennai Airport before leaving for his trip.

Rajinikanth revealed on various occasions that he used to visit the Himalayas often. But the superstar was unable to visit the Himalayas for the past four years due to various reasons, including the corona pandemic.

The movie is scheduled to hit theatres on August 10.

Earlier, the makers unveiled the trailer of the movie.

In the video, two different avatars of Rajinikanth’s persona ‘Tiger’ Muthuvel Pandian were revealed.

In the film, Superstar portrays the father of a police officer. The film also demonstrated how a regular individual uses swords and firearms to take out evil men.

While Jackie Shroff is very briefly seen in the teaser. Jackie’s look portrays a bad character and emanates power and authority. He has a daring and dramatic appearance in the teaser that has the viewers in awe.

Interestingly, Jackie shared the screen with Rajnikanth 36 years ago in the film ‘Uttar Dakshin’.

‘Jailer’ is touted to be an action-packed entertainer and has a stellar star cast that includes Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan in prominent roles.

Rajini Gave Tamannaah A Spl Gift On ‘Jailer’ Sets

Actor Tamannaah Bhatia, who will be seen sharing screen space with megastar Rajinikanth, feels fortunate and blessed to have the opportunity of working with the veteran actor.

Rajinikanth Remembers Late Actor Sarath Babu

The sudden demise of South actor Sarath Babu has left everyone in shock. He passed away at the age of 71 on Monday in Hyderabad. Superstar Rajinikanth visited the residence of the veteran actor in Chennai to pay his last tribute.

While remembering the late actor, he said, “He was a good man. I never saw him angry. All of his films were a very big hit. He was very affectionate towards me. I feel sad about his demise.”
He worked with Rajinikanth in films like ‘Annamalai’ and ‘Muthu’.

Previously, Kamal Haasan also tweeted about the late actor, “A great actor and a great friend, Sarath Babu has passed away. The days of acting with him are a shadow in my mind. Introduced by my Gurunath in Tamil. He excelled in many timeless roles. Cinema has lost a good actor. My tribute to him.”

Sarath Babu, who has acted with Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, NTR, Chiranjeevi and others is known for his works in mainly Tamil and Telugu cinema. He also appeared in Kannada and a few Malayalam and Hindi films.

Sarath Babu debuted in the film industry in 1973 with a Telugu film, ‘Rama Rajyam’ and rose to prominence with the Tamil film ‘Nizhal Nijamagiradhu’ which also featured Kamal Hassan.

He was also worked in Malayalam movies such as ‘Sarapancharam’ and Kannada films like ‘Ranachandi’ and ‘Amrutha Varshini’, Telugu films like ‘Maro Charitra’, `Abhinandana’, ‘Chettu Kinda Pleader’, and many more. He was last seen in the Tamil film ‘Vasantha Mullai’. Maro Charitra.
