Srinagar/New Delhi, (IANS) Curfew was lifted from the entire troubled valley barring Pulwama town and in areas under the jurisdiction of Nowhatta and M.R. Gunj police stations in Srinagar city, a police official told IANS. The decision followed a high level security meeting on Sunday evening, informed sources said. Meanwhile, Rajnath Singh will lead an all-party delegation to the Kashmir Valley on September 4 to “meet a large number of local leaders”, an official said. Rajnath Singh has been constantly reviewing the situation in Kashmir ever since unrest began a day after Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani was killed by security forces on July 8. The separatists in the valley have, however, continued with their protest shutdown despite the lifting of the curfew. Last week, the separatists asked people to continue the shutdown until September 1. All senior separatist leaders are under detention in Srinagar. A total of 71 people — 68 civilians and three policemen — have been killed in the violence that began on July 9. Over 11,000 others, including civilians and security personnel, have been injured.// ]]>
Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan had the most “special” and a historical moment of her life as she walked the ramp flaunting her baby bump. This was possibly one of the rare celebrities who agreed to be on the ramp, while carrying a baby.
The actress who is four months pregnant, wanted to cherish the moment and agreed to be the showstopper for acclaimed fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee at the finale of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016. While most actresses try hide their bump and try to get rid of the media, Kareena has been actively attending events flaunting her bump gracefully. While walking the ramp for Sabyasachi, the 34-year-old actor got emotional and said it would be a walk to remember for her as she and her baby took to the ramp together for the first time. This was the finale of the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016, and Sabyasachi displayed a mindboggling range of sarees, which are simply adored by Indian women and celebrities alike. Sabyasachi’s creations are a hot favourite among actresses such as Vidya Balan, Deepika Padukone and Sharmila Tagore, incidentally Kareena’s mother-in-law. Kareena’s presence turned Sabyasachi’s show an instant hit as her pictures filled the internet. In the past, several Indian actresses tried hard to avoid the media glare while they were expecting, but, Kareena has proved that she is different.
“I must say it’s not one but two of us. It’s a very special moment. I have never walked for Sabyasachi before, we were not able to do a film together. But this moment is very special. It’s going to be in the history. I am actually very emotional right now. It is a moment I want everyone to cherish. I would like to say Sabyasachi is not a designer he is an artist. He creates painting. I am really honoured to wear this artist,” Kareena said post the show, in an interview to PTI.// ]]>
