BJP To Begin Campaigns For Delhi Assembly Polls; Yatras, Jan Sabhas Planned
As Delhi gears up for the upcoming Assembly elections, political parties have started to ramp up their campaign preparations. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to launch its election campaign by the end of this month.
According to a top BJP source, “The party has completed its groundwork and is ready to hit the ground soon. All the planning, including at the micro level, has been done. By the end of this month, we will be ready to hit the ground with our full dedication and force.”
The source further added, “This morning, a meeting was held with all seven Delhi MPs, chaired by Delhi BJP president Virender Sachdeva and Delhi election in-charge Baijayant Panda. Going forward, there will be a series of meetings at both the state and central levels. During the campaign, multiple ground activities are planned, including yatras, door-to-door campaigns, pravas (travels), chaupal meetings, rallies, and roadshows etc.”
However, the question remains on the Delhi Chief Minister’s face from the BJP. All the top central leaders will be fielded on the ground to ensure a win in the upcoming assembly election.
On Sunday, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva held a meeting with all 7 MPs of Delhi along with Delhi Election in-charge Baijayant Panda. It was the first official meeting and a series of meetings will be held in future for the upcoming polls.
Assembly elections in Delhi are expected to be held in early 2025. (ANI)
