Amitabh To Sachin In Pran Pratistha Festivities

Filmstars like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana, Anupam Kher, Kangana Ranaut, Tiger Shroff and Asha Bhosale among others are at the Shri Ram Janambhoomi Complex in Ayodhya for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.

Cricket legends Anil Kumble, Sachin Tendulkar and Venkatesh Prasad are also present at the Temple for the ceremony

Music Composer Anu Malik arrived at Shri Ram Janambhoomi temple in Ayodhya for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony.

Dressed in a traditional attire for the ceremony, Anu Malik told ANI, “Recently PM Modi said that he likes one of the Bhajans composed by me. It is a beautiful feeling and I am very happy to be present here. I had tears in my eyes when I saw the Temple for the first time.”

Actor Vivek Oberoi said, “It’s magical, spectacular. I have seen so many images of it. But when you see it before your eyes, it seems that you are watching something magical.”

Actor Anupam Kher who has been in Ayodhya for the past few days said, “Historic! Wonderful! I had never seen such an atmosphere for Hindu religion ever before. This is bigger than Diwali. This is the real Diwali…Maryada Purushottam Ram symbolised goodness and a sense of sacrifice. Today, those sentiments can be seen here.”

Actor Chiranjeevi who also arrived at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya to attend the Pran Pratishtha ceremony said “This is a God-given opportunity, we are really happy to be here…” he says

Lyricist Prasoon Joshi said, “…We can surrender ourselves to him (Lord Ram) and consider ourselves lucky. Lord Ram’s ideals are very much needed in today’s era. In the time that the world is facing right now, Lord Ram’s ideals can help a lot…”

Pran Pratishtha will be conducted in the presence of Prime Minister Modi, Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Mohan Bhagwat, Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister of U.P. Yogi Adityanath and other dignitaries.

Acharyas of all schools of Bharatiya spiritualism, religion, sect, system of worship, tradition, Sants of more than 150 traditions, Mahamandaleshwars, Mandaleshwars, Shrimahants, Mahants, Nagas, as well as leading figures of more than 50 Adivasi, Girivasi, Tatavasi, Dwipavasi tribal traditions, will remain present to witness the Prana Pratistha ceremony on the premises of the Bhavya Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir.

The presence of the tribal traditions being represented by the people of the hills, forests, coastal belts, islands, etc., is happening for the first time in recent history.

The traditions include Shaiva, Vaishnav, Shaakta, Ganapatya, Patya, Sikh, Bauddha, Jain, Dashnam, Shankar, Ramanand, Ramanuj, Nimbarka, Madhva, Vishnu Nami, Ramsanehi, Ghisapanth, Garibdasi, Gaudiya, Kabirpanthi, Valmiki, Shankardev (Assam), Madhav Dev, ISKCON, Ramakrishna Mission, Chinmaya Mission, Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Gayatri Parivar, Anukul Chandra, Thakur Parampara, Mahima Samaj of Odisha, Akali, Nirankari, Namdhari from Punjab, Radhasoami, and Swaminarayan, Varkari, Veer Shaiva, etc.

After the completion of the Pran Pratishtha programme in the Garbha-Griha, all the witnesses will have darshan respectively.

The magnificent Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir is constructed in traditional Nagara style. Its length (east-west) is 380 feet; width 250 feet and height is 161 feet; and is supported by a total of 392 pillars and 44 doors. The pillars and walls of the temple showcase intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, gods, and goddesses. In the main sanctum sanctorum at ground floor, the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram (the idol of Shri Ramlalla) has been placed.

The main entrance to the Mandir is situated on the eastern side, which can be approached by ascending 32 stairs through the Singh Dwar. There are a total of five Mandaps (Halls) in the Mandir – Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Prathana Mandap and Kirtan Mandap. Near the Mandir is a historic Well (Sita koop), dating back to the ancient era. In the southwestern part of the Mandir complex, at Kuber Tila, the ancient Mandir of Bhagwan Shiv has been restored, along with the installation of a statue of Jatayu. (ANI)

Asin Refutes Divorce Rumours With Husband Rahul Sharma

‘Ghajini’ and ‘Ready’ film actor Asin, on Wednesday, refuted the rumours of divorce with her husband Rahul Sharma and called it “utterly baseless”.

Taking to Instagram, Asin shared a note on her stories and wrote, “In middle of our summer holiday right now, literally sitting across each other enjoying our breakfast and came across some very imaginative and utterly baseless ‘NEWS’. Reminds of the time we were sitting at home together with our families planning our wedding and we heard that we had broken up Seriously?! Pls do better. (Disappointed to have wasted 5mins of an otherwise wonderful holiday on this!) Have a great day you guys.”

The rumours started surfacing on social media after she reportedly deleted all her pictures with her husband except one from her Instagram account. She has also removed her wedding photos from her social media profile.

Asin married Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma in January 2016. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter Arin in October 2017.

After her marriage Asin decided to quit the film industry.

She was last seen in 2015’s comedy ‘All Is Well’, co-starring Abhishek Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor and Supriya Pathak.

She was a part for several big hit Bollywood films like ‘Ghajini’, ‘Ready’, ‘Bol Bachchan’, and ‘Housefull 2’ among others.

Abhishek Wishes Aaradhya On Birthday In The Most Adorable Way

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s daughter Aaradhya turned 11 today.

And, on the occasion, Abhishek took to social media to drop a special wish for his little one.

In the picture, the ‘Ponniyin Selvan: I’ actor was seen planting a kiss at Aaradhya.

Abhishek and Aishwarya married on April 20, 2007, in an intimate wedding ceremony at one of Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalows- Prateeksha.

The duo who has shared screen space in movies like ‘Guru’, ‘Dhoom 2’ and more, welcomed their first child Aaradhya on November 16 in 2011.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Aishwarya was recently seen in south director Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus period drama film ‘Ponniyin Selvan – 1’ which gathered massive responses from the audience.

Amitabh Turns 80, Receives Heartfelt Birthday Wishes

Hindi cinema’s biggest superstar, Amitabh Bachchan has turned 80 and marking his special day, his daughter Shweta Bachchan paid a heartfelt tribute to him on social media.

Taking to Instagram, Shweta shared a bunch of photographs featuring her adorable moments spent with her father.
In one of the images, we can see Big B holding little Shweta’s hands.

Another picture shows little Big B standing with his late parents Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan.

For the caption, Shweta chose to use the lyrics of Abida Parveen and Naseebo Lal’s song ‘Tu Jhoom’.

Big B began his career with the film ‘Saat Hindustani’ in 1969. He later appeared as Dr. Bhaskar Banerjee in Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s ‘Anand’ (1971), for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. Prakash Mehra’s action film ‘Zanjeer’ (1973) established Bachchan as a star to look out for in the industry and since then he has been enthralling audiences with versatile roles.

Ahead of his 80th birthday, he came up with the film ‘Goodbye’, which is currently running in theatres. In the upcoming months, he will be seen in ‘The Intern remake with Deepika Padukone and ‘Project K’. He also has ‘Uunchai’ in his kitty. (ANI)

Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan, Neena Gupta and singer Guru Randhawa, on Friday, mourned the demise of veteran actor Arun Bali.

Taking to Instagram, Neena shared a post which she captioned, “Goodbye #ArunBali. My first day of shoot on the Parampara series set years ago with Arun Bali. So glad we got to shoot recently for Goodbye.”

In the picture, the ‘Badhaai Ho’ actor could be seen sitting alongside veteran actor Arun Bali dressed up as a priest.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan wrote, “Very sad to hear of the passing of Arun Bali Ji. A wonderfully warm and loving man. Had the pleasure to share screen space with him on several films. My condolences to his family. Om Shanti.”

Singer Guru Randhawa shared a post on his Instagram stories which he captioned, “Rest in peace sir.”

Veteran actor Arun Bali is no more. Known for his various performances in Bollywood films, Arun Bali breathed his last in the wee hours at 4:30 am on Friday. He was 79.

While more details are awaited in this regard, it’s important to mention that some reports suggest Bali hasn’t been keeping well for quite some time.

He has two daughters who reside in the US. Both of them will be landing in Mumbai on Saturday, and only after that will the last rites be performed.

Bali was known for his work in many films including ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Kedarnath’, ‘Panipat’, ‘Hey Ram’, ‘Dand Nayak’, ‘Ready’, ‘Zameen’, ‘Policewala Gunda’, ‘Phool Aur Angaar’, and ‘Ram Jaane’.

He also worked in many TV serials. He portrayed King Porus in the 1991 historical drama ‘Chanakya’, Kunwar Singh in the Doordarshan soap opera ‘Swabhimaan’, and Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, the Chief Minister of undivided Bengal, in the contentious and critically praised 2000 movie ‘Hey Ram.
