Aaftab Will Kill Me, Shraddha Told Police In 2020

In the latest twist in the tale of the Shraddha Walkar murder case, a letter has surfaced that Shraddha allegedly wrote in 2020 at the Tulinj police station in Maharashtra’s Palghar, in which she complained that Aaftab Poonawala, the accused in her murder case, had beaten her and threatened to kill her.

The letter in question has reportedly been shared by Shraddha’s neighbour in Vasai with whom Shraddha had gone to file the complaint. The Maharashtra police have confirmed that the deceased had written a complaint letter on November 23, 2020, at the Tulinj police station. The Maharashtra police also confirmed the authenticity of the said complaint letter shared by Shraddha’s neighbour as to have been written by Sharddha.
In the complaint letter, Shraddha said that she “did not have the guts to go to the police” because Aaftab had threatened to kill her. However, she added that Aaftab tried to kill her on the day she was writing the letter, and he also threatened to kill her and cut her into pieces and throw her away.

“It’s been six months he has been hitting me,” the letter read.

The letter further claimed that Aaftab’s parents were aware that he beat her up and that he tried to kill her.

“I lived with him till date as we were supposed to get married anytime soon and had the blessings of his family. Henceforth, I am not willing to live with him. So any kind of physical damage should be considered coming from him as he has been blackmailing me to kill me or hurt me whenever he sees me anywhere,” the letter read.

The letter surfaces a day after Aaftab on Tuesday told a Delhi court that he murdered his girlfriend in the “heat of the moment”.

Aaftab was produced before the Saket court in the national capital on Tuesday after his five-day police custody expired.

“What happened that happened in heat of the moment,” Aaftab told the court.

However, Apollo Hospital, Senior Consultant Psychiatrist, Dr. Sandeep Vohra on Tuesday reacted to Aftab Poonawala’s statement in Saket Court. “It cannot be a case of ‘heat of the moment’,” the top expert said.

“I will not agree to the claim that Aftab murdered Shraddha in the heat of the moment. If there is something that happens in the heat of the moment you immediately feel guilty, if not immediately then later on. Many times you would hear cases like somebody shot someone or killed someone and surrendered at the police station and accepted his crime. So this case cannot be of the heat of the moment,” Dr. Sandeep Vohra told ANI.

Meanwhile, a court-sanctioned polygraphy test on Aaftab was initiated in the national capital on Tuesday.

The assistant director of the Forensic Science Laboratory, Rohini, Sanjeev Gupta said the process of conducting a polygraph test on Aaftab has begun and the report will be out in a week’s time.

Delhi Police had previously said Aaftab, following his arrest in the case, confessed to killing his live-in partner in their apartment in West Delhi’s Chhatarpur and chopping her body into 35 pieces.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Gupta said, “We’ve been directed by the Delhi Police and our director to process this case fast. We are working on some parameters that are important before conducting a narco test.”

In a polygraph test, the subject is asked a series of questions while his physiological indicators such as blood pressure, pulse rate, and respiration are measured. This data is then used to determine if the subject is lying.

Aaftab is alleged to have preserved the chopped body parts in a refrigerator before dumping them in the forests of Chhatarpur.

Aaftab and Shraddha met on a dating site and moved in together to a rented accommodation in Chhatarpur as the relationship grew.

On receipt of the complaint from Shraddha’s father, Delhi Police registered an FIR on November 10.

Subsequent interrogation of the accused revealed that Aaftab killed Shraddha on May 18 after which he started researching ways to dispose of the body. He also borrowed ideas on disposal from popular crime shows on his streaming devices, Delhi Police revealed.

He also told police that he also read up on human anatomy before chopping his girlfriend’s body.

Police said after browsing on the internet on ways to remove all traces of his crime, Aaftab mopped blood stains from the floor of the couple’s Chhatarpur apartment with some chemicals and also disposed of all stained clothes.

He then shifted the body to the bathroom and bought a refrigerator where he hoarded the chopped body parts, police further informed. (ANI)

Shraddha Murder: Was Well-Planned, Not Heat Of Moment Act, Says Expert

Apollo Hospital, Senior Consultant Psychiatrist, Dr. Sandeep Vohra on Tuesday reacted to Aftab Poonawala’s statement in Saket Court, who is accused of murdering her live-in partner Shraddha Walkar. “It cannot be a case of ‘heat of the moment’,” the top expert said.

As per reports, Aftab on Tuesday told Saket Court that whatever happened was in heat of the moment. To this, Dr. Sandeep Vohra replied that it was a planned move.
“I will not agree to the claim that Aftab murdered Shraddha in the heat of the moment. If there is something that happens in the heat of the moment you immediately feel guilty, if not immediately then later on. Many times you would hear cases like somebody shot someone or killed someone and surrendered at the police station and accepted his crime. So this case cannot be of the heat of the moment,” Dr. Sandeep Vohra told ANI.

“It is something that was continuously on his mind and it seems to be a well-planned move. Because the way he acted after executing the murder can be done only by a person who has psychopathic traits and not by a normal person. People like Aftab do not have any remorse and are liars,” Dr. Sandeep Vohra said.

Reacting to Aftab’s evasiveness to Delhi Police, Dr. Vohra said that people like Aftab would change their statements and mislead the police. “One cannot rely upon such people who do not have normal emotional development,” he added.

Dr. Vohra further said that in Shraddha’s case there was a lack of communication and support from family and if that support was given to her earlier, then she would be alive today.

Rightly stressing the need for parents’ guidance and family support, Dr. Vohra said that it’s an unfortunate story of a girl who was trying to establish a steady relationship with a person who had unpredictable behaviour, a violent temperament, and would beat her often. The things which are striking in this case, sadly, the girl herself was not invested properly in society, in the sense that she did not have her own family’s support and if that support would have been given to her in a consistent manner, then maybe we could have prevented the loss of a precious life.

Emphasizing the role of the internet and social media in the case, Dr. Vohra said that social media can lead to such barbaric incidents. “It clearly indicates a lack of cohesion in the society, being individualistic and only focusing on social media. Yes, people definitely get ideas from the Internet, as Aftab, who confessed that he used to watch Dexter, a crime thriller based on a psychopath. So that is the flip side of watching too many criminal-minded shows and then getting influenced by the internet.

“There is a lack of tolerance, increased aggression, and a bombardment of all aggression, and negativity all over on social media visuals all over on social media. People, who are not socialising physically with others, and always watching social media, then somewhere down the line, especially those people who have a tendency to get influenced by others execute such crimes,” Dr. Vohra said further.

On Aftab’s behaviour, he said, “Such people are the alleged killer, they are manipulative by nature. So when she said that she would leave, he threatened her that he will commit suicide, and manipulated her many times.”

Delhi Police solved the six-month-old blind murder case and arrested Aftab Amin Poonawalla on the basis of Shraddha’s father’s complaint.

Police said that Aftab, after searching in shopping mode Google, cleaned blood stains from the floor with some chemicals and disposed of stained clothes. He shifted the body in the bathroom and bought a refrigerator from a nearby shop. Later, he chopped the body into small pieces and put them in the fridge.

Aaftab Admits In Court To Murdering Shraddha In Heat Of The Moment

Accused in the Shraddha Walkar murder case, Aaftab Amin Poonawala on Tuesday told a Delhi court that murdered his girlfriend in the “heat of the moment”.

The Saket court today extended the police custody of Aftab Poonawala to four more days after he was produced before the court via video conferencing in a special hearing.
Aaftab was produced before the Saket court here after his five-day police custody expired.

“What happened that happened in heat of the moment,” Aaftab told the court.

Aaftab also said that he is cooperating in the investigation. He further told the court that he is having difficulty in recalling the incident.

The accused allegedly strangled and then chopped to pieces the body of his live-in partner Shraddha Walker in May this year.

The Delhi Police has also moved a lower court seeking permission to conduct a polygraph test on Poonawala.

Police had earlier said Poonawala, who confessed to killing his live-in partner and chopping her body into 35 pieces, was giving misleading answers to questions.

Metropolitan magistrate Aviral Shukla of Saket Court referred the matter to Magistrate Vijayshree Rathore, who granted permission for a narco analysis test on Aftab.

Delhi Police had earlier submitted in court that Aftab was giving wrong information and misleading the investigation.

The plea for a polygraph test is the second scientific examination that Delhi police sought to conduct on Aaftab.

On Thursday, the court ordered Rohini Forensic Science Laboratory to conduct a narco test on Aaftab within five days.

Also, a plea has been moved in the Delhi High Court seeking a transfer of investigation in the Shraddha murder case from Delhi Police to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The Delhi police have moved a lower court seeking permission to conduct a polygraph test on Aaftab Amin Poonawala, the accused in the Shraddha Walker murder case.

Police had earlier said Aaftab, who confessed to killing his live-in partner and chopping her body into 35 pieces, was giving misleading answers to questions.
Metropolitan magistrate Aviral Shukla of Saket Court referred the matter to Magistrate Vijayshree Rathore, who earlier granted permission for a narco analysis test on Aftab.

The court is likely to hear the plea on Tuesday.

According to sources, Aaftab is to be produced before the court after the expiry of his five-day police custody.

Delhi police had earlier submitted in court that Aftab was giving wrong information and misleading the investigation.

The plea for a polygraph test is the second scientific examination that Delhi police sought to conduct on Aaftab.

On Thursday, the court ordered Rohini Forensic Science Laboratory to conduct a narco test on Aaftab within five days.

However, the court directed the investigating officer in the case not to use third-degree on the accused as it extended its custody by a further five days.

Metropolitan magistrate Vijayshree Rathore had allowed the application seeking permission for a narco analysis test on Aaftab.

The court had allowed the plea after taking note of the accused’s consent through Legal Aid Counsel Harshit Sagar. The accused was connected to the court proceedings through video conferencing.

“The FSL, Rohini is directed to allow the IO to conduct a Narco Analysis Test of the accused within five days from today,” the court had said on Thursday.

During the proceedings, the accused was explained the meaning of the narco-analysis test and its consequences. He was further informed that since he was not physically produced before the court and his consent for the test was being sought through video conferencing, his consent would be recorded through the legal-aid counsel appointed on his behalf, Harshit Sagar, on November 14. Man Chops Ex-Girlfriend’s Body Into Pieces In Azamgarh

In the wake of the horrific Shraddha Walker murder case in the national capital, another similar case has come to light in Uttar Pradesh’s Azamgarh, where the body of a woman was chopped and disposed off in distant locations.

According to the Azamgarh Police, they have recovered the body of the deceased who was identified as Aradhana Prajapati, from Paschim Patti village under the Ahraula police station of Azamgarh district, while the main accused in the case, identified as Prince Yadav, has been arrested.
As per the police statement, the disposed off body parts of the deceased have been recovered from two different locations, with the skull having been found in a pond, which is at a distance of 6 km from the well where the rest of the chopped body parts were recovered from.

The alleged murder took place on November 10, while the body of the deceased was found in a well on November 15.

According to the police statement, the family of the deceased woman had filed a missing person’s report which said that she was missing since November 10. On November 15, the local police found the body parts of a woman in a well with the head missing.

According to the police statement, when approached by the police, the family partially confirmed the identity of the deceased, however, due to the skull missing, they were not convinced.

Following this, on November 19, the police detained one Prince Yadav, who was found to be the ex-boyfriend of the deceased girl, said the police.

As per the police, after questioning, Prince confessed to his involvement in the crime. The police then took Prince to the crime spot and it was at his identification that the police were able to recover the head of the deceased woman from a pond some six kilometres away from the well, as per the police statement.

According to the police, Prince was arrested on Sunday following an encounter, when he tried to escape from the spot where the police had taken him to recover the missing head of the woman. Another accused in the incident, Sarvesh Yadav, who is Prince’s cousin, is absconding, as per the police.

A total of nine people have been involved in the crime, either in the execution of the plot to kill the woman or harbouring the culprits, according to the police.

Speaking to ANI, Anurag Arya, Superintendent of Police, Azamgarh said, “A dead body of an unidentified woman was found in a well on November 16. The head was missing and the rest of the body parts were missing. It was a challenge for the police, it was a crime related to the women. 5 police teams were on the job to work out the case. The accused has been arrested today. The prime accused in the case, Prince Yadav was arrested today after a police encounter. He sustained a bullet injury in his right leg. Illegal arms have been recovered from him.”

The official said that the accused had a relationship with the deceased two years ago. The woman was married in February this year when Prince was outside the country. Upon knowing about the marriage, the accused returned to the country and plotted to kill the woman.

“After the interrogation, it came to the fore that he had a relationship with the deceased two years ago. The deceased was married this year in February. He was outside the country then. When he came to know about her marriage, he was offended and returned to India. He attempted to threaten the deceased to break her marriage and also lured her to stay with him. He was aided by his relatives which include his maternal side and also his parents. When the woman did not agree, he along with his parents and cousin named Sarvesh hatched a plan to kill her and dump her body in such a way that it could not be recovered and he could not be caught,” the police official said.

Detailing the plot, the SP said that Prince had taken her out in the name of visiting a temple and strangled her to death in a sugarcane field.

“He called the woman on November 10, and roamed with her in the name of visiting a temple, and took her to the field of his maternal side and strangled her to death. To dispose of the body, he along with Sarvesh Yadav chopped it by keeping it on a wooden log. He threw the rest of the parts into the well, and threw the head in a pond along with her clothes,” he said.

Arya said that the recovery of the deceased’s clothes and other pieces of evidence has been accomplished.

“Based on the interrogation, the police have recovered everything. The clothes of the deceased have also been recovered. The wooden log on which the incident took place has been recovered. Evidence collection has been done from the field. There are a total of nine accused, of which one Prince Yadav has been arrested. The other accused Sarvesh Yadav, who is Prince’s uncle’s son is absconding. An award of Rs 25,000 has also been announced,” he said.

The other accused in the incident will be arrested soon, the official said.

“There are 7 others who were involved either in the planning of the incident or in harbouring the culprits. They will be arrested soon,” he said.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.

In another horrific incident that came to the fore earlier this month in the national capital, Shraddha Walker, a woman from Maharashtra was allegedly strangled to death by her live-in partner, who was identified as Aftab Poonawalla.

In the latest development in the case, the officials of Delhi Police on Sunday continued the probe in the dense forest area of South Delhi’s Mehrauli with an aim to recover the dismembered body parts of Shraddha Walker, believed to be disposed of by her murderer Aaftab Amin Poonawala across the national capital.

Earlier, Delhi police, after recovering around 12 suspected body parts disposed of by Aaftab, the accused in the Shraddha murder case, later brought him to the jungle to recover other body parts, according to police sources on November 13.

According to the sources, Aftab, during his interrogation, told the police that after killing Shraddha and chopping her body into 35 pieces, he had first disposed of those parts which could stink quickly. (ANI)

Sharddha Murder: Aaftab’s Narco Test In 5 Days, No Third Degree

A Delhi court has ordered Rohini Forensic Science Lab to conduct a narco test of accused Aaftab Poonawala within five days in the Shraddha Walkar murder case.

The court directed the Investigation Officer (IO) not to use any third-degree measures. Accused Aaftab is in five days of police custody.
Metropolitan magistrate Vijayshree Rathore of Saket court allowed the application seeking permission for the narco analysis test of accused Aftab.

The court allowed the plea after noting the consent of the accused through Legal Aid Counsel Harshit Sagar. The accused was produced through Video conferencing (VC).

“The FSL, Rohini is directed to allow the IO for conducting the Narco Analysis Test of the accused within five days from today,” the court said in an order passed on Thursday.

The Court also directed the Investigation Officer (IO) not to use any other third-degree measures. MLC be prepared as per rules.

During the proceedings, the accused was explained the meaning of the Narcos

Analysis Test and the consequences thereof.

He was further informed that since he is not physically produced before the court today and his consent for the Narcos Analysis Test is being sought through video conferencing mode via video conferencing Meet, his consent shall be recorded through his Legal-Aid Counsel Harshit Sagar who was appointed in his behalf on November 14 2022.

The court said, “Since the accused has consented for Narcos Analysis Test, the application moved on behalf of the IO is allowed.”

At this stage, the IO has submitted that he has to seek permission from the FSL Department, Rohini, Delhi for conducting the Narcos Analysis Test of the accused. Thereafter, the court directed the lab to conduct the test within 5 days.

A Delhi court on Thursday had extended the police custody of accused Aftab Amin Poonawala for 5 next days in the Shraddha murder case. The court also allowed the application for a narco test of the accused.

He was produced before the court through VC after five days of police custody. He was arrested on Saturday.

Metropolitan magistrate Aviral Shukla of Saket court had extended the police custody of Aftab Poonawala for the next five days after the submission of the police.

Delhi moved an application seeking an extension of police custody for ten days.

According to sources Delhi Police submitted before the court that the investigation is going on. The accused is to be taken to Uttrakhand and Himachal Pradesh where he went with Shraddha.

Delhi police submitted that further custodial interrogation of the accused is required to unearth the entire case and to collect the evidence.

Earlier, the court had allowed applications seeking the appearance of Aftab through VC.

Delhi police submitted that as per the information some religious outfits and miscreants may attack the accused. In these scenarios, it would not be appropriate to produce the accused in the courtroom.

After considering the application the judge said, “I am aware about the public sentiment attached with the case. I am also aware about the media coverage and sensitivity of the matter.

In the interest of justice, the application for appearance through video conferencing is allowed.

While the court was hearing the application, lawyers were protesting outside the courtroom and raising slogans against Aftab.

They were raising the slogan “Shraddha ke hatyare ko fansi do, fansi do”.

The court thereafter the court said the application for seeking an extension of police custody will be taken up through VC. (ANI)

Shraddha Murder: Aftab Was High On Marijuana When He Killed Her

Accused in the horrific Shraddha Walker murder case, Aftab Amin Poonawalla, who was arrested recently, has admitted to being high on marijuana on the day of the murder, police sources claimed.

As per Delhi police sources, the accused during questioning told the police that on May 18, he had an argument with Shraddha over managing household expenses and bringing some stuff from Mumbai to Delhi.
After the argument, Aftab left home, smoked a marijuana cigarette, and returned, said the police.

“When he came back, Shraddha started yelling at him again. Following which, he got furious and strangled her so violently that she stopped breathing,” the police sources told ANI.

“The victim was strangled to the death between 09.00 pm and 10.00 pm, and the accused, Aftab, sat next to her body the whole night and smoked marijuana,” they said.

Reportedly, the accused has admitted to being addicted to marijuana, and revealed that he disposed of some pieces of the body in Dehradun also.

The official however said that the police are investigating the case in all directions, and said that the accused might have come out with this story to mislead the police.

The police are yet to find the weapon used by the accused for chopping the body. The stuff recovered from the house has been sent for forensic examination, said the sources.

The accused Aftab Amin Poonawala was on Thursday presented before a Delhi court through video conferencing after five days of custody. The court extended his police custody for another five days.

Police Takes DNA Samples Of Shraddha’s Father To Match Bones

Delhi Police, which is probing the horrific Shraddha Walker murder case in which her live-in partner Aftab Amin Poonawala had allegedly strangulated Walker to death and chopped her body into 35 pieces, dumped it in the Chhatarpur area of the national capital, has taken DNA samples of Shraddha’s father Vikas Walker so that the dumped body parts and blood sample can be matched.

According to top sources of Delhi Police, the DNA sample of Shraddha’s father has been taken. About 10-13 bones have been recovered from the forest. They have been sent to the forensic lab to find out whether the bones belonged to Shraddha or those of an animal.
As the investigators dig deeper into the Shraddha Walker murder case, Delhi Police have found blood stains in the kitchen of accused Aftab Amin Poonawalla’s flat in Delhi’s Chhatarpur. The blood samples have been sent for examination to ascertain whose blood it is.

Delhi Police has been conducting CCTV mapping of the Chhatarpur area. Since the murder took place six months ago, the police are trying to gather the record of six months. The challenge before the police is most of the CCTV’s capture record of 15 days, in this situation Delhi Police have to scan vast footage.

Sources said Police are also scanning the CCTV to find out whom Aftab was meeting these days.

“A lot of work has to be done. The weapon, Shraddha’s head and mobile phone are yet to be traced. The clothes worn by Aftab and Shraddha on the day of the murder have not been found. These clothes were thrown in a garbage-moving vehicle,” sources said.

Delhi Police recovered a bag of Shraddha in Aftab’s house, which has her belongings. The bag has to be now identified with Shraddha’s family.

Delhi Police had applied for the Narco test of the Aftab on Saturday but till now no permission has been granted by the Court, sources said.

Aftab was arrested on Saturday after Delhi police started probing into a missing complaint filed by Shraddha’s father.

Aftab had attempted to dupe the police of Delhi and Mumbai in the initial days of the investigation.

Aftab had tried to hide the murder of Shraddha by removing any physical evidence, however, he had left the digital evidence that the police traced to reach the truth of the case.

When Delhi Police initiated the investigation, Aftab had told the police that Shraddha had left the house on May 22 (Shraddha was killed on May 18), after a fight. He said that she had only carried her phone with herself and had left her belongings in his flat. He claimed that she was unreachable and he had not come in contact with her since then, according to the police sources.

However, the truth came to the fore when the police checked the phone call records of the couple and investigated their locations.

Sources further said the May 18 quarrel was not the first time, Aftab and Shraddha were fighting for three years. “On May 18, there was a fight between the two regarding buying household items. They used to fight over who would bear the household expenses and bring items. Aftab got very angry about this. The quarrel started around 8 pm on May 18 when Aftab strangled Shraddha to death. He Kept her body in the room overnight and went to buy a knife and refrigerator the next day,” sources said.

The biggest breakthrough the police got was the bank statement of the couple’s account which showed a transaction of Rs 54,000 from Shraddha’s net banking account app to Aftab’s account on May 26. The transaction exposed Aftab’s lies in which he had earlier said that Shraddha was unreachable after May 22 and he did not come in contact with her, the sources said.

The location of the bank transfer that took place on May 26 also turned out to be the Mehrauli police station area.

Besides this, on May 31 there was a chat with her friend from Shraddha’s Instagram account. When the police found out the location of Shraddha’s phone, it turned out to be in Delhi’s Mehrauli police station area.

Aftab could not answer the police question that if Shraddha had carried her phone along with herself, why was its location being traced to his house? It was at this moment that Aftab revealed the truth.

The Maharashtra Police sources said that when Shraddha’s family could not contact her due to her phone being switched off, they filed the missing complaint at the Manikpur police station. Following the complaint, Aftab was summoned to the Manikpur police station for questioning.

Earlier on Tuesday, the police sources told ANI that Aftab confessed that he had made up his mind to kill Shraddha over a week before the murder (May 18).

“More than a week before the murder (May 18), I had made up my mind to kill Shraddha. Even on that day, Shraddha and I had a fight. I was determined to kill her when she suddenly became emotional and started crying. So I held back for later,” a Delhi Police source quoted Aftab as saying in his confession.

Aftab said his partner had trust issues because of which she would often get angry, leading to frequent quarrels.

“I often had to talk to someone over the phone. However, she would doubt my commitment to the relationship every time she caught me speaking over the phone. She used to get very angry,” Aftab told Delhi Police.

Police said on further investigation, it was learned that the couple had a fight on May 18 during which Aftab killed Shraddha.

“I was scared as I knew that if I dumped the body somewhere, I might be caught. I browsed Google all night to search for ways to dispose of the body and not arouse any suspicion. I also searched the internet on what kind of chopper would I have to use to piece the body,” the Delhi Police source quoted Aftab as saying.

Aftab also confessed to his fondness for watching web series and shows related to crime and it was from these shows that he borrowed ideas on preserving the chopped-off body parts and disposing of them later, police said, adding that he did it all by himself.

“I am fond of watching web series and serials on crime and it was while watching these shows that I came up with ideas on preserving the body parts and keeping Shraddha alive in the eyes of her family and friends. It was to preempt any doubts or suspicions about her whereabouts that I kept posting on Shradhha’s Instagram profile after the murder. I did it all by myself,” the accused told Delhi Police.

According to police sources, the accused first disposed of her liver and intestines after mincing them. Since he was a trained chef, he knew how to use the knife on her flesh, police added.

The liver and intestines were disposed of in the nearby forest area of Chattarpur and Mehrauli, sources said.

Meanwhile, earlier on Tuesday, sources said the city police may write to the dating app, Bumble where the couple first met, seeking details of Aftab’s profile and the women who visited him after the murder.

Sources said the Delhi Police wants to ascertain if any of the women Aftab dated on the app was the reason why he killed Shraddha.

Meanwhile, Shraddha’s father on Tuesday demanded the death penalty for the accused while also suspecting ‘love jihad’ behind the incident.

Speaking to ANI, Shraddha’s father, Vikas Walker said, “I suspect love jihad. We demand that Aftab be sentenced to death. I have faith in the Delhi Police as the investigation is moving in the right direction. Shraddha was close to her uncle and didn’t talk to me much. I was never in touch with Aftab. I lodged the first complaint in the case at Vasai (Mumbai).”

“I had spoken to Shraddha last in 2021. I would ask her to tell me more about her live-in partner. But she didn’t say much. I did not know she had shifted to Delhi. Her friend told me she was in Delhi. I thought that she was in Bengaluru. Aftab had a lot of time to remove all the evidence,” Shraddha’s father said. (ANI)
