Deepika To Unveil FIFA World Cup Trophy During Finals

After representing India at Cannes 2022, actor Deepika Padukone has once again made all Indians beam with pride.

As per a source, Deepika will be flying to Qatar to be part of the most-watched sporting event in the world FIFA, and will be unveiling the FIFA World Cup trophy at the jam-packed stadium.
The FIFA World Cup final will be played on 18 December 2022 at the Lusail Iconic Stadium.

Meanwhile, on the film front, Deepika will be seen sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham in ‘Pathaan’, which is scheduled to release on January 25, 2023.

Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the action-packed ‘Pathaan’ was shot in eight countries.

Talking about the same, Siddharth said, “Locations always play a huge role in my films and they became even more important for Pathaan as we intended to deliver an action spectacle for audiences that they have never seen before. To achieve that scale and variation in visuals we went to 8 countries to shoot the film and its lavish action sequences!”

“We were clear that every scene of Pathaan needs to be breath-taking and we meticulously went about planning to achieve this. I remember the pre-production of Pathaan took close to two years because we wanted to be absolutely sure that we are going to try and raise the bar of action spectacles in India,” he added.

Apart from ‘Pathaan’, Deepika will also be seen with Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas in ‘Project K’. She also has a special cameo in her husband Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Cirkus’. (ANI)

Deepika Makes Special Appearance In Ranveer’s Cirkus

The trailer for Ranveer Singh-starrer ‘Cirkus’ has been unveiled, and it indeed acts as a bonus for Ranveer and Deepika Padukone’s fans.

Helmed by Rohit Shetty, ‘Cirkus’ also stars Johnny Lever, Varun Sharma, Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar, Mukesh Tiwari, and Siddharth Jadhav among several others.
Set in the 1960s, ‘Cirkus’ trailer revolves around Ranveer in a dual role, with both the twins unaware of each other’s existence. Varun Sharma too plays a double role in this family entertainer.

While Ranveer has two love interests in Pooja and Jacqueline already, he is joined by actor-wife Deepika Padukone for a song in the trailer. Deepika will be seen dancing in a special song with Ranveer . With the trailer, Rohit also gives a hint of the new universe he is planning to create with the Golmaal franchise.

The trailer gives us a small glimpse of what one can expect watching the movie. While some liked the trailer, there’s a section of social media users who found it average.

“Average but what a surprise cameo by Deepika,” a social media user commented.

Cirkus: Check Out Ranveer’s Double Madness In New Posters

Makers of the upcoming comedy film ‘Cirkus’ unveiled a series of new posters of all the characters on Saturday.

Taking to Instagram, Ranveer Singh treated fans with a series of new posters.
In the posters, Ranveer could be seen in a double role and in full of madness mode. The posters also show actors Varun Sharma, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Siddhartha Jadhav, Sanjay Mishra, and Johnny Liver among others.

Sharing the posters, he wrote, “DOUBLE MADNESS!! CHRISTMAS MANAO APNI FAMILY KE SAATH!!”

Helmed by Rohit Shetty, the film is all set to hit the theatres on December 23, 2022.

‘Cirkus’ marks the second collaboration of actor Ranveer and director Rohit Shetty, in a full-fledged role after ‘Simmba’.

Based on the 1960s era, the film also marks Ranveer’s first double role of his career.

The film is said to be inspired by William Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors, which revolves around two sets of identical twins who were accidentally separated at birth.

Meanwhile, the ‘Ram-Leela’ actor will be also seen in Karan Johar’s next directorial ‘Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ alongside Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra. The film is all set to release on April 28, 2023.

Apart from this, he will also be seen in south director Shankar’s next, the official remake of the Tamil blockbuster film ‘Anniyan’. (ANI)
