As ‘Project K’ makers and star cast are all set to premier the first glimpse of the film at San Diego Comic-Con, ahead of the event, actors Prabhas and Rana Daggubati landed in the USA.

In the picture, Prabhas and Rana can be seen facing their back toward the camera as they enjoy the view of the hills.

A signboard of ‘Hollywood’ can be spotted in the backdrop.

Both men dressed in ‘What is Project K’ hoodie.

Sharing the picture, “The men have landed in the USA. See you in San Diego on July 20th. #Prabhas @RanaDaggubati #ProjectK #WhatisProjectK.”

Whether Rana is part of Project K or just there to support the team at an event is not official.

Rana and Prabhas have worked in SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise.

Rana also shared the same photo on his Imsta and captioned it, “Just hanging out in the hills – #ProjectK @actorprabhas.”

Set to make its grand debut in the iconic H Hall at San Diego Comic-Con, ‘Project K’ boasts an ensemble cast of some of the biggest stars in the industry, including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. This multilingual film has captivated audiences worldwide with its promise of a groundbreaking cinematic experience.

Kicking off the SDCC celebration, Vyjayanthi Movies will offer fans a look at the film as part of an opening night party on July 19.

On July 20, the film’s team will host a panel titled “This is Project K: First Glimpse of India’s Mytho-Sci-fi Epic” with Deepika, Prabhas and Haasan during which the film’s full title, teaser trailer and release date will be revealed, Variety reported.

Interestingly, the stars will also feature in a performance on SDCC’s largest stage.”This exclusive event will transport guests into India’s most ambitious cinematic universe yet with their captivating storytelling, futuristic setting, and ‘Spice Punk’ aesthetic inspired by the film,” the producers said in a statement.

Director Ashwin also expressed excitement. He said, “We are thrilled to present ‘Project K”s debut at San Diego Comic-Con. India’s storytelling tradition has ancient roots, with its epics serving as the origins for many civilizations worldwide. A world as big as this needs a platform as big to introduce it to the people. Comic-Con felt like the perfect place, where the honesty and enthusiasm needed for ‘Project K’ will be found.”

The makers of upcoming sci-fi on Monday unveiled the long-awaited official first look of Deepika Padukone.

Deepika’s official first look has left fans intrigued. In the sepia-toned visual, she exudes an intense avatar, leaving viewers eager to unravel the mysteries that lie within the film’s narrative.

‘Project K’ is billed as a dystopian science fiction film about a futuristic reimagining of the Hindu God Vishnu. Nag Ashwin, the director of the National Award-winning film Mahanati, is directing Project K. The film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, with a budget of several hundred crores.

The video shows Nick trying his best to untie her ponytail inside a car, however, he is failing to do so. Nick in fact, uses his phone’s flashlight to untie it while Priyanka is seen laughing and enjoying looking at his failed attempts. At last, Nick fails and Priyanka said, “ow”.

On Saturday, Priyanka and Nick attended the Wimbledon Women’s Final in London.

The tweet on the official page of Wimbledon read, “All set for the finals! Welcome to #Wimbledon, Priyanka and Nick”

Priyanka has also extended her support to the ongoing SAG AFTRA strike.

“SAG AFTRA STRONG” and wrote in the caption, “I stand with my union and colleagues. In solidarity, we build a better tomorrow,” she said in a post.

According to Variety, a US-based media outlet, SAG-AFTRA declared its strike against the film and television industries on Thursday, marking only the second time in Hollywood history that actors have joined writers on the picket lines.

As per the guidelines, SAG-AFTRA members will not be able to attend premieres, do interviews for completed work, go to awards shows, attend film festivals or even promote projects on social media while the strike is in effect, reported Variety. (ANI)

The first picture showcases Nick and wifey Priyanka looking at their cute kiddo Maltie Marie Chopra Jonas playing. The little one can be seen excitedly watching an unboxing of a gift. Her doll is also lying alongside her.

Nick also shared a picture of the customised Easter luncheon menu, which Priyanka also shared on her Instagram story saying, “So happy you’re home daddy.”

Soon after the singer-actor shared the pictures, fans swamped the comment section and dropped red heart emoticons.

Meanwhile, on the work front, ahead of the global debut of the AGBO spy series Citadel, Priyanka bagged a new Hollywood project in which she will share screen space with John Cena and Idris Elba in ‘Heads Of State’.

Priyanka is gearing up for the release of her new web series helmed by The Russo Brothers.

The action-packed show revolves around two elite agents Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia (Priyanka) of the global spy agency ‘Citadel’.

Sharing details about the show, Priyanka said, “The story is closely interwoven with the stunts. What’s so exciting about these huge action pieces was that they are infused with drama and storytelling. We get to see a lot about these characters, how they physically interact, not just great action sequences but there’s drama at the heart of each one of them, so there’s a story sort of interwoven in all the stunts. And that was just very cool and new for me.”

Several pictures of the duo emerged online soon after they exited the Kalina Airport in the city on Friday. Zendaya smiled as she exited the airport while Tom was seen walking towards his car
In the images, Zendaya is seen wearing a white T-shirt teamed with denim and a long jacket. On the other hand, her boyfriend, Tom, wore a pink T-shirt, teamed with blue denim pants and a black jacket.

If reports are to be believed, the celebrity couple is in India to be a part of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) launch.

The couple’s pictures have left fans excited.

Tom features as Spider-Man/Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home while Zendaya plays Mary Jane.

‘RRR’ Wins Big At Hollywood Critics Association Award

‘RRR’ is truly unstoppable!

After winning the Critics’ Choice and Golden Globes, ‘RRR’ has now beaten Tom Cruise’s ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ at the Hollywood Critics Association Film Awards.
Not just that, ‘RRR’ bagged two other awards in the ‘Best Original Song’ and ‘Best Stunts’ categories.

Film’s director SS Rajamouli ecstatically accepted the award on behalf of the team and made quite an impressive address.

He said, “I think I need to go backstage and check…I think I’ll be starting growing wings already…with the second one! Thank you so much it means a lot! I can’t express in words how much it means…”

He continued, “This is the ‘Best Action Film’ (award), we won the ‘Best Stunts’ (award), but probably the ‘Best Stunt’ (award) was for the best stunt choreographer…and…I really would have loved to have the stunt choreographers here to see this because I think that is the team that works so hard and puts their life on the line to entertain us. I think I’ll take this opportunity to ask all the major awards to make a special category for the stunt guys….stunt choreographers, they really, really deserve that! This is for all the stunt choreographers, not only in my country but across the world who really work hard to entertain us all.”

He concluded by thanking the Association – “Thank you HCA again! This really means a lot to me…thank you. Now, I’m flying!”

‘RRR’ superstar Ram Charan was also present at the Awards ceremony and even presented an award.

With the win, fans have all their hopes pinned on an Oscar. Team ‘RRR’ is currently in Los Angeles and will be attending the Oscars on March 12. ‘RRR’ song ‘Naatu Naatu has been nominated for the Oscars in ‘Original Song’ category.

In January this year, ‘Naatu Naatu’ won the Golden Globes in the ‘Best Original Song’ category.

‘Naatu Naatu’ was nominated alongside Taylor Swift’s ‘Carolina’ from ‘Where The Crawdads Sing’, ‘Ciao Papa’ from ‘Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio’, Lady Gaga’s ‘Hold My Hand’ from ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ and Rihanna’s ‘Lift Me Up’ from ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’.

5 days later, ‘RRR’ bagged two more awards at the 28th edition of the Critics Choice Awards.

‘RRR’ starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan bagged the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Song for its track ‘Naatu Naatu’. It also picked up the ‘Critics’ choice award for ‘Best Foreign language film’ in a ceremony held in Los Angeles.

RRR is a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan and Jr NTR played lead roles, respectively. The film collected over Rs 1,200 crore worldwide. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran also starred in the film.

This lyrical composition of ‘Naatu Naatu’ by MM Keeravani, high energy rendition by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, unique choreography by Prem Rakshith, and lyrics by Chandrabose are all the elements that make this ‘RRR’ mass anthem a perfect dance craze. (ANI)

Scooby Doo Star Is Angry

Actor Freddie Prinze Jr did not hold back on sharing frustrations in his career.

The 46-yr old actor played ‘Fred’ in the 2002 live-action film ‘Scooby-Doo’, which was based on the eponymous animated series.
However, when he returned for the 2004 sequel of the film, he went through a number of unpleasant situations, as per a report in The Hollywood Reporter, an American website, and digital and print magazine.

“My ego was so angry,” Freddie said, as he talked about his salary being leaked to a magazine, allegedly by film studio Warner Bros.

According to the report, he also mentioned being asked to take a pay cut for the remaining cast to get a raise.

“I remember thinking, ‘Hold up, who’s giving them the raise? Me or y’all?’ Like we made you guys three-quarters of a billion dollars, you can’t afford to pay them what I’m making on this? Screw that,” the ‘FRIENDS’ actor said.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, the cast of the film consisted of actors Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard and Linda Cardellini.

However, the actor did admit of getting a ‘more accurate perspective’ on the two films after getting feedback from fans.

“All these people that had grown up loving those [Scooby-Doo] movies started reaching out…and then I got what I felt was a more accurate perspective on what that movie meant to people because I was no longer viewing it through the lenses of the studio,” Freddie said.

Freddie last appeared in a cameo role in the film Clerks III’.

He is set to appear as a Latino father in the Christmas rom-com ‘Christmas With You. (ANI)

Nicole Kidman To Be Honoured With AFI Life Achievement Award

Hollywood actor Nicole Kidman is set to be recognized for her cinematic achievements through the AFI Life Achievement Award.

According to a report by Variety, the ‘Moulin Rouge!’ actor will be presented with the honour at the Dolby Theatre.
The ‘Aquaman’ actress would become the 49th artist to be given this award. In addition, she will be the first person from Australia to receive the honour.

“Nicole Kidman has enchanted audiences for decades with the daring of her artistry and the glamour of a screen icon,” Variety quotes Kathleen Kennedy.

Kathleen is the current chair of the AFI Board of Trustees.

“She is a force both brave in her choices and bold in each performance. AFI is honoured to present her with the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award,” Kathleen added.

Kidman, 55, is widely renowned as one of her generation’s finest thespians in film.

She won the Academy Award for her role in ‘The Hours’.

She also has two Emmy Awards in her kitty for the TV drama ‘Big Little Lies’, as per a report by Variety.

Her rich repertoire consists of a number of indie films and commercial blockbusters.

She has worked with a number of renowned film directors like Stanley Kubrick, Sofia Coppola, Sydney Pollack and Lars von Trier.

The ‘Days of Thunder’ actor also made her mark in theatre.

Opposite Iain Glen, Kidman starred in the 1998 production of ‘The Blue Room’, for which she received a Laurence Olivier nomination.

According to a report by Variety, the presenters for the upcoming award ceremony haven’t been announced yet.

The AFI Lifetime Achievement Award was first given out in 1973 to ‘Stagecoach’ actor John Ford. (ANI)

According to Page Six, the couple has advanced their relationship into a more intimate stage. However, insiders close to the couple say they are “taking it carefully.”
Gigi Hadid, 27, and Leonardo, 47, have reportedly been getting close while hanging out with the same group of pals, according to Page Six.

Page Six further mentions that the couple has finally started going out on dates just as a twosome.

Page Six quoted a source telling them, they’ve “mostly hanging out with groups,” adding, “and solo a handful of times.”

“[DiCaprio] is not someone who is in and out of relationships,” the source told Page Six, “He doesn’t jump around hooking up. They are taking it slow.”

Page Six reported that the two were seen together on Saturday night at an exclusive party hosted by Richie Akiva and Darren Dzienciol, friends of the “Don’t Look Up” actor, at a loft in Soho.

And according to the Page Six source, the pair were also out together sometime last week, but the two are still “getting to know each other.”

The insider told Page Six that although Hadid and DiCaprio have crossed paths a few times over the years, their encounters have never been romantic.

They were originally seen with Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid in a group setting at Art Basel in Miami back in 2019.

However, suspicions of a romance between the two started after they were spotted together at Ned’s opening in Manhattan, Akiva’s posh new members-only club, back in July.

Page Six was informed by a second source that DiCaprio and Hadid had been spotted together once more at the Manhattan club in August.

A short time ago, it was made public that the ‘Titanic‘ actor had broken up with Camila Morrone, his four-year girlfriend, only months after the model turned 25.

Leonardo is reputed to break up with his model girlfriends when they reach their mid-20s, but it appears that he is expanding his age range by a full two years.
