Janhvi Kapoor Dazzles In India Couture Week

All eyes were on Janhvi Kapoor when she walked the ramp for internationally acclaimed designer Gaurav Gupta on day 3 of the ongoing India Couture Week 2023 in Delhi.

The diva was dressed in a shiny electric blue lehenga skirt that she paired with a blue blouse. Her long cape added a dramatic yet beautiful touch to her showstopper look.
For the glam, she kept her makeup minimal and opted for wet hairstyling.

Janhvi presented Gaurav Gupta’s “Hiranyagarbha” collection at DLF Emporio here on Thursday. Inspired from the manifested cosmos in Vedic philosophy, the collection includes the interpretations of the five elements: Panchamahabhutas – earth (prithvi), water (jal), fire (agni), air (vayu), and space (akasha) from the universal womb.

The collection took 457 man hours to make.

After the fashion gala, Janhvi briefly spoke to media and expressed her happiness about having turned the muse for Gaurav Gupta.

“We literally had loads of fun today. I was quite excited. It was an amazing show,” she said.

Meanwhile, on the film front, Janhvi is being lauded for her role in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Bawaal’, which hit the theatres on July 21 on Prime Video.

The film is a romantic drama set against the backdrop of World War 2. In the film, she is seen romancing Varun Dhawan.

In the coming months, her fans can see her in ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ opposite RajKummar Rao. She also has ‘Ulajh’ in her kitty, co-starring Roshan Mathew and Gulshan Devaiah. (ANI)

On Friday, he set social media on fire with his physique. He shared his half-shirtless image, flaunting his sharp jawline and abs in full display.
“Once upon a time in Serbia”, he captioned the post.

Recently, Actor Varun Dhawan with Citadel actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu met President Droupadi Murmu in Serbia.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun has ‘Citadel’. It is being created by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. The action-packed series also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

It is an Indian adaptation of the Russo Brothers’ series of the same name. Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden are headlining the international version. The release date of the Indian version of Citadel is awaited.

Varun also has ‘Bawaal’ along with Janhvi Kapoor in his kitty. Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film also stars Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role and is all set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and across 200 countries and territories worldwide in July.

Janhvi Turns Into Little Mermaid’s Princess Ariel

Ahead of the release of ‘The Little Mermaid’, actor Janhvi Kapoor turned into a mermaid, much like Princess Ariel.

Taking to Instagram, Janhvi dropped a video in which she is seen donning a mermaid look.

In the brief 45 seconds clip, Janhvi walks into a room where two little girls are playing dress up. She tells them that they both look exactly like Princess Ariel and they ask her to tell them the poem.

She captioned the clip, “Immerse yourself in the wonders of The Little Mermaid where love knows no bounds and where wishes come true. Watch Princess Ariel in #TheLittleMermaid in cinemas on May 26.”

The upcoming film is a re-imagined telling of the classic fairy tale and is updated from the studio’s own 1989 animated version.

The movie The Little Mermaid directed by Rob Marshall, features Halle Bailey as Ariel, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, Javier Bardem as King Triton, Daveed Diggs as Sebastian, Jacob Tremblay as Flounder, Awkwafina as Scuttle, Noma Dumezweni, and Jude Akuwudike.

Disney India is set to release ‘The Little Mermaid’ on May 26th, 2023, exclusively in English, captivating audiences in theaters with its wondrous tale.

Meanwhile, Janhvi will be seen sharing screen space with Jr NTR in ‘Devara’. The film marks her Telugu debut and it also stars Saif Ali Khan in a pivotal role. (ANI)

Janhvi Visits Tirupati Balaji With Rumoured Boyfriend Shikhar

Amid dating rumours, actor Janhvi Kapoor snapped with Shikhar Pahariya during her visit to Tirupati Balaji Temple in Andhra Pradesh on Monday.

Janhvi offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at the Tirumala temple in the early hours of Monday.

She was accompanied by her rumoured boyfriend Shikhar and sister Khushi Kapoor.

Janhvi and her sister were dressed in a traditional half-saree.

Neither Janhvi nor Shikhar have commented on their relationship, however, the two have been spotted together several times. Shikhar is the grandson of former Maharashtra chief minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. He is an entrepreneur, polo player, and philanthropist.

Shikhar was said to be in a relationship with Janhvi several years ago before they separated.

Talking about Janhvi dating Shikhar, Karan Johar on Koffee With Karan 7, almost confirmed their dating rumours. During Janvhi’s appearance on the show with Sara Ali Khan, Karan said, “I mean it was the past. You both dated two brothers. And the commonality between the three of us is that they both used to live in my building.”

Reportedly, Sara previously dated Shikhar’s brother Veer Pahariya.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi has an interesting line-up of movies in her kitty. She will be seen in director Nitesh Tiwari’s film ‘Bawaal’ alongside Varun Dhawan. She will also feature in a sports drama film ‘Mr and Mrs Maahi’ opposite Rajkummar Rao.

Taking to her Instagram handle, she posted a series of pictures where she can be seen enjoying her vacation.
She wore a multi-coloured floral monokini with a bucket hat of the same print. She was also seen posing between the laps of nature in an orange swimsuit.

Calling the vacation ‘fun’, she wrote, “The last 24 hours were fun”.

Arjun Pulls Janhvi’s Hair In Childhood Pic

Arjun Kapoor’s heart swelled with pride after watching his younger sister Janhvi Kapoor’s performance in latest release ‘Mili’.

On Friday, Arjun took to Instagram and penned a note for Janhvi that’s filled with praises and love.

“You continue to make me prouder @janhvikapoor! Your growth as an actor, as a star is phenomenal… And you are just getting started which is really, really exciting,” he wrote.

Arjun added, “You are brilliant in #Mili – what a spine-chilling act! I wish it does phenomenally well and you get all the love that you truly deserve. Love you lots.”

Alongside the heartfelt note, he dropped a few images of himself with Janhvi.

The first picture is from Arjun and Janhvi’s childhood days. In the image, Arjun is seen pulling his little sister’s hair while Janhvi flashes her cute smile.

The second image seems to be the latest one in which they are seen posing for a stylish photoshoot.

Replying to Arjun’s post, Janhvi commented, “Love you.”

While Arjun and his sister Anshula are Boney’s children from his first marriage to late Mona Shourie, Janvhi and her sister Khushi Kapoor are Boney’s kids from second marriage to late actor Sridevi.

Earlier this year in March, Arjun on Janhvi’s birthday acknowledged that he wasn’t with Janhvi since her early years and promises to be with her forever now.

“I know I wasn’t around for quite a few birthdays but now you’re stuck with me for life,” Arjun had posted.

Speaking of ‘Mili’, it is the Hindi remake of the filmmaker’s 2019 Malayalam hit Helen. Said to be based on true events, the film traces the struggles of Janhvi as Mili, who races against time to stay alive inside a freezer. Mathukutty Xavier has directed it. Besides Janhvi, Mili also features Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa in key roles. It is Janhvi’s first professional collaboration with her father Boney Kapoor, who backs the film. (ANI)

Makers of the upcoming survival thriller film ‘Mili’ unveiled the official trailer on Saturday.

Taking to Instagram, Janhvi Kapoor shared the official trailer which she captioned, ” Watch a glimpse of Mili’s chilling tale of survival! The trailer is out now. #Mili, releasing in cinemas on 4th November. #Mili4thNov.”
Helmed by Mathukutty Xavier, the film also stars Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa in the lead roles.

‘Mili’ marks Janhvi’s first professional collaboration of the actor with her father Boney Kapoor.

‘Mili’ touted to be a survivor-thriller film is a remake of the 2019 Malayalam movie ‘Helen’.

In 2021, as Janhvi Kapoor wrapped up shooting for ‘Mili’, she shared some photos from the sets and penned a beautiful note for the team and her dearest ‘Papa’ – “It’s a wrap! #Milli My first film with papa, of whom I’ve only heard stories of all my life as a producer.
