Miss World Karolina Bielawska Did This During Her Nagpur Visit

Ahead of the upcoming 71st Miss World pageant, set to unfold in India after a 28-year hiatus, reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska and other Miss World participants are busing exploring the country.

Taking to Instagram, the Miss World handle on Friday shared pictures from the Nagpur visit and captioned the post, “Julia Morley, Miss World @karolinabielawska , @vanessaponcedeleon, and six Miss World participants, visited Dr. Hedgewar Smrit Sthal, in Nagpur, to pay respect and learn about the RSS humanitarian activities in thousands of social projects across India and in other countries. It was an inspiring experience and nice exchange of ideas.”

The pictures featured Karolina Bielawska, former Vanessa Ponce De Leon, Julia Morley, the Chairman & CEO of the Miss World organization and others.

Karolina Bielawska always shared her love for India.

Recently, while mentioning what makes India a special country, she told ANI, “I couldn’t be more excited to have the 71st Miss World festival here in India because I know how much impact it can have for all the contestants. India is leading in so many areas – in education, in health, and technology. We can learn so much from you. So, I believe that by bringing so many young leaders here to your country, we can take inspiration and create a change that we like to see in the world.”

The 71st Miss World pageant will be held between February 18 and March 9 unfolding across various venues, including the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. 120 contestants from countries across the world will participate in various competitions and charitable initiatives.

The 71st Miss World will culminate with a dazzling grand finale at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. (ANI)

RSS To Hold Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha In Nagpur From March 15-17

The annual meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh will be held in Nagpur on March 15, 16, and 17.

Taking to the microblogging site X, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh, Sunil Ambekar posted, “Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS): This year RSS’s Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (Annual General Meeting) will be on 15, 16 and 17th March 2024 at Nagpur.”

The entire year’s program and agenda of the Sangh will be decided in Pratinidhi Sabha, which is the most significant meeting of the RSS.

Earlier, last year, the annual meeting of the RSS was held on March 12, 13 and 14, at Samalkha, Haryana.

During ‘Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha’, a three-day annual meet of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) organized in Haryana’s Samalkha last year, various issues including “population explosion” in the country and “social harmony” were discussed, said the Sangh sources.

According to Sangh sources, emphasis was given to topics like spreading “social harmony” among the masses. Discussion on ways to control the population was also held during the event.

“India is dealing with ‘population explosion’. The solution to this problem and ways to control it were discussed in the meeting. Along with this, issues leading to population explosion were also identified”, said the Sangh sources.

“The imbalance of population in some parts of the country especially in states like Bengal, Assam, and Bihar bordering Bangladesh is also a major cause of concern,” they added. (ANI)

Modi Outlines 11 Stars To Give New Direction To M’rashtra’s Growth

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated various developmental projects in Nagpur on Sunday and outlined the “11 stars” that would give a new direction to Maharashtra’s growth.

“The 11 different development projects inaugurated today will give a new direction to Maharashtra’s growth. It’s proof of how fast the double-engine government in Maharashtra and at the Centre is working. The 11 different development projects inaugurated today will give a new direction to Maharashtra’s growth,” PM Modi said while addressing a gathering here.
“The first is Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg, second Nagpur AIIMS, third is National Institute of One Health, fourth is ICMR research centre in Chandrapur, fifth is CPET Chandrapur, the project which has been started to reduce the pollution in Nagpur’s Naag river, seventh is the inauguration of Nagpur phase 1 and foundation stone laying of phase 2, eighth is Vande Bharat Express between Nagpur and Bilaspur, ninth is a redevelopment project of Nagpur and Ajni railway station, the tenth is the inauguration of maintenance depot of rail engine of 12,000 horsepower in Ajni and eleventh is the inauguration of Koli-Narked route in Nagpur-Itarsi,” the Prime Minister added detailing the projects.

The Prime Minister said that the infrastructure projects inaugurated today show the holistic vision of infrastructural development.

“The projects which have been inaugurated today show a holistic vision of infrastructural development. AIIMS is one kind of infrastructure and Samriddhi Mahamarg is another kind of infrastructure. Vande Bharat and Nagpur Metro are two different kinds of the character of infrastructure,” he said.

“Better connectivity empowers growth and progress at a great pace. The government has worked towards achieving this vision and I am happy that we could achieve it with public participation,” the Prime Minister added.

Earlier today, the Prime Minister inaugurated Phase I of the Nagpur Metro rail project and purchased a ticket to take a ride on the Metro from Freedom Park to Khapri.

PM Modi also laid the foundation stone of Phase- II of the rail project, which will be developed at a cost of more than Rs 6700 crore.

During his journey from Freedom Park to Khapri, the Prime Minister was also seen interacting with students and those from the start-up sector and citizens from other walks of life.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the sixth Vande Bharat Express that will run between Maharashtra’s Nagpur and Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur.

PM Modi waved hands at the passengers travelling on the train after flagging off the train.

This is the sixth Vande Bharat Express to be flagged off by PM Modi.

The Prime Minister arrived in Nagpur earlier, where he was received by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. (ANI)

Modi Inaugurates AIIMS Nagpur With State-Of-The-Art Facilities

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated AIIMS Nagpur with state-of-the-art facilities.

The Hospital, whose foundational stone was also laid by the Prime Minister in July 2017, has been established under the Central sector scheme Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana, read a statement from Prime Minister’s Office.

AIIMS Nagpur, being developed at a cost of more than Rs 1575 crore, is a hospital with state-of-the-art facilities, with OPD, IPD, diagnostic services, Operation theatres, and 38 departments covering all major specialty and super speciality subjects of Medical Science. The hospital provides modern healthcare facilities to the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra and is a boon to the surrounding tribal areas of Gadchiroli, Gondia, and Melghat.

The Prime Minister also inspected an exhibition at the AIIMS, Nagpur soon after inaugurating the hospital.
