Jitendra, Neena Starrer Panchayat 3 Announced

It’s official! The much-awaited ‘Panchayat Season 3’ starring Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta and Raghubir Yadav is happening.

The announcement was made on Tuesday at Prime Video’s event in Mumbai.

Taking to Instagram, Prime Video shared the news with fans and captioned the post, “Navigating the murky waters of Phulera politics, Abhishek does his best to maintain his objectivity. #Panchayat3OnPrime #AreYouReady #PrimeVideoPresents.”

The first look poster was also shared featuring the star cast.

‘Panchayat Season 3’ stars Jitendra Kumar in the lead role with Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Sanvikaa, Chandan Roy, Durgesh Kumar, Ashok Pathak, Faisal Malik and Sunita Rajwar seen in pivotal roles.

The series is helmed by Deepak Kumar Mishra.

It chronicles the life of Abhishek, an urban engineering graduate who joins as a Panchayat secretary in a remote village Phulera of Uttar Pradesh due to a lack of better job options.

The release date of ‘Panchayat Season 3’ is not yet disclosed. (ANI)

Angad Expreses His Desire To Romance Neena On Screen

Actor Angad Bedi who is being praised for his performance in ‘Lust Stories 2’ expressed his desire to romance veteran actor Neena Gupta on screen.

The actor recently revealed how he would love to romance her onscreen for any project. Having spent a lot of time with Neena, Angad is totally impressed by the way the veteran actor takes her roles. Angad has also expressed his desire to play a romantic role opposite her onscreen someday.
Anagad said in the statement, “Neena Gupta is an amazing actor. She has this effortless way of playing her characters, which is a lesson for many actors. In Lust Stories 2, we have a different relationship, but someday I would love to romance her onscreen for any project. I am sure it won’t be your regular romantic story so I am looking forward to any such project. I have watched many of her older projects and I feel she is one of the very underrated actors we have in the industry who is slowly getting her due credit.”

Helmed by R Balki, the movie delves into the significance of lust and sex in nurturing successful relationships, with Angad’s on-screen dynamic with Neena Gupta’s character as the grandmother highlighting the film’s compelling narrative. Neena suggested a young couple, played by Angad and Mrunal, go on a ‘test drive’ for sexual compatibility.

‘Lust Stories 2’ is an anthology of four stories directed by ace directors Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sen Sharma, R Balki and Sujoy Ghosh.

The cast also includes Kajol, Vijay Varma, Tamannaah Bhatia, Tillotama Shome, Amruta Subhash, Neena Gupta and Kumud Mishra.

Lust Is A Misunderstood Word: Angad

The much-awaited project ‘Lust Stories 2’ is out. One of the segments in the 4-part anthology is helmed by R Balki.

In R Balki’s segment in ‘Lust Stories 2’, Neena Gupta essays the role of Mrunal Thakur’s grandmother who advises her to take a ‘test drive’ before marriage with Angad Bedi.
Angad, who plays a pivotal role in the film, opened up about how sexual compatibility plays an important role in a healthy marriage.

“For a healthy marriage along with love, it is also important to have healthy sexual compatibility too. In today’s time and age, we still hesitate to speak about it, but there are so many marriages which have fallen apart because of sexual incompatibility. In our society, lust is a very misunderstood word, but it is an important part that strengthens the bond between a husband and wife,” he shared.

In real life, Angad has been married to actor Neha Dhupia. The two tied the knot on May 10, 2018, and they welcomed their daughter Mehr later that year. The couple’s second child Guriq was born in 2021. (ANI)

Actor Mrunal Thakur is being praised for her performance in ‘Lust Stories 2’.

Helmed by R Balki, the movie delves into the significance of lust and sex in nurturing successful relationships, with Mrunal’s on-screen dynamic with Neena Gupta’s character as the grandmother highlighting the film’s compelling narrative.
Sharing her views on lust and sex, Mrunal said, “I strongly believe that having matured conversations about sex and lust is key, especially when one is young and growing up. When one is a young adult, they have a role model who instils the right knowledge and information to a young person.”

She added, “If all young and impressionable minds, including kids within families, have at least one person they can have honest discussions with about these topics, they will be less likely to seek a plethora of misinformation from the outside world.”

In the film, Mrunal portrays a soon-to-be-wedded woman who finds herself humorously confronted by her grandmother about her perceived “lust quotient” with her future partner (essayed by Angad Bedi).

In the coming months, Mrunal will be seen sharing screen space with Vijay Deverakond. The yet-to-be-titled film is being helmed by Parasuram Petla and is being produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Fashion designer Masaba Gupta tied the knot with her beau Satyadeep Misra on Friday. Her special day was marked by the presence of her ‘blended family’ — including mother Neena Gupta and father West Indies cricketing legend Vivian Richards.

Taking to Instagram, the new bride in town Masaba dropped a cute family picture along with a caption, “For the first time ever – My whole life came together. This is us. My beautiful blended family. Everything from here on is just bonus.”
She shared the family picture featuring his beau Satyadeep, Satyadeep’s mother Nalinimisra Tyabji, his sister Chinmaya Misra, Neena Gupta, her husband Vivek Mehra and Masaba’s father Viv Richards.

In the second, Masaba was seen posing with Viv Richards.

All smiles as the mother and daughter duo posed for the camera.

Neena Gupta and former West Indies player Vivian Alexander Richards had Masaba out of wedlock and have lived separately throughout their life.

Neena welcomed her daughter Masaba in November 2, 1989. She raised her alone. In 2008, Neena got married to chartered accountant Vivek Mehra.

Meanwhile, Masaba and Satyadeep worked together on the web series ‘Masaba Masaba’ which premiered on the OTT platform Netflix.

Masaba was previously married to producer Madhu Mantena and Satyadeep to actress Aditi Rao Hydari.

Masaba Gupta, daughter of actress Neena Gupta and cricketer Vivian Richards, is a celebrated designer and made her acting debut in ‘Masaba Masaba’.

Satyadeep Misra is an actor known for his work in films like ‘Bombay Velvet’, ‘No One Killed Jessica’ and the Hindi version of ‘Vikram Vedha’. (ANI)

Makers of the upcoming family entertainer film ‘Uunchai,’ on Saturday unveiled the first look poster of Neena Gupta’s character.

Taking to Instagram, Neena shared her first look poster which she captioned, “This one is to dreaming big and making it happen. My first with Rajshri Productions. Meet me as Shabina Siddiqui in a theatre near you on 11.11.22. A film by Sooraj Barjatya, #Uunchai is special.”

The ‘Badhaai Ho’ actor’s character is introduced as Shabina Siddique.

Helmed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles.

‘Uunchai’ is all set to hit the theatres on November 11, 2022.

Previously makers unveiled the first-look posters of Amitabh, Anupam, and Boman Irani.

The film marks the directorial comeback of Sooraj Barjatya after his 2015 family drama ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ which starred Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor, and Anupam Kher in the lead roles.

Makers are all set to unveil the official trailer of the film on October 18, 2022.

Neena was recently seen in director Vikas Behl’s film ‘Goodbye’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandanna, and Pavail Gulati in the lead roles. The film received positive responses from the audience.

She will be next seen in an upcoming film ‘Shiv Shastri Balboa’ alongside Anupam Kher and Jugal Hansraj.

The movie will be directed by Ajayan Venugopalan under the banner UFI Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd. Ajayan is an Indian screenwriter, and film director who has written and directed the acclaimed Malayalam television sitcom ‘Akkara Kazhchakal’. Singer Guru Randhawa shared a post on his Instagram stories which he captioned, “Rest in peace sir.”

Veteran actor Arun Bali is no more. Known for his various performances in Bollywood films, Arun Bali breathed his last in the wee hours at 4:30 am on Friday. He was 79.

While more details are awaited in this regard, it’s important to mention that some reports suggest Bali hasn’t been keeping well for quite some time.

He has two daughters who reside in the US. Both of them will be landing in Mumbai on Saturday, and only after that will the last rites be performed.

Bali was known for his work in many films including ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Kedarnath’, ‘Panipat’, ‘Hey Ram’, ‘Dand Nayak’, ‘Ready’, ‘Zameen’, ‘Policewala Gunda’, ‘Phool Aur Angaar’, and ‘Ram Jaane’.

He also worked in many TV serials. He portrayed King Porus in the 1991 historical drama ‘Chanakya’, Kunwar Singh in the Doordarshan soap opera ‘Swabhimaan’, and Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, the Chief Minister of undivided Bengal, in the contentious and critically praised 2000 movie ‘Hey Ram.
