Power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are all set to embrace parenthood. The ‘DeepVeer’ are expecting their first child.

On Thursday, the couple took to Instagram and shared the good news with their fans and followers.

The announcement image featured the baby’s clothes, shoes and playful stuff.

The image mentioned Deepika’s delivery date, “September 2024.”

As soon as the news was shared, fans and industry members chimed in the comment section.

They first met on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s romantic drama film ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’ and later also starred in ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Padmaavat’.

On the work front, Deepika was recently seen in the aerial action thriller film ‘Fighter’ opposite Hrithik Roshan.

Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the film also starred Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi in pivotal roles and received good responses from the audience.

She will be next seen in the sci-fi action thriller film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ alongside south actor Prabhas.

Helmed by Nag Ashwin, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and will hit the theatres on May 9, 2024.

Recently, a video of the couple from their Belgium trip went viral across social media platforms.

On Sunday morning, the couple was snapped at the Mumbai airport walking hand-in-hand.

Several pictures and videos of them went viral on social media.

In the pictures, Ranveer is seen donning a black sweatshirt paired with blue jeans. He accessorised his look with a black cap and black shades.

Ranveer Receives Special Honour At Red Sea Film Festival

Actor Ranveer Singh made his fans proud as he received a special honour at the Red Sea Film Festival 2023.

The ‘Simmba’ star received the memento from the hands of actress Sharon Stone.

Several clips from the festival have surfaced online. In one of the videos, Sharon is seen giving a shoutout to Ranveer before calling him onto the stage.

“I have had the exciting pleasure of meeting Ranveer Singh before…what a great guy! He is truly an all-rounder creative genius,” she said, eliciting a huge cheer from the audience.

Ranveer was all smiles as he received praise from Sharon.

Upon accepting the honour, Ranveer thanked his fans for supporting him through his thick and thin.

“Thank you most of all to my beautiful fans..your love and support have been my driving force… you inspire me to push my limits and strive for greatness to find the moment of the truth that is invaluable,” he said.

The third edition of Red Sea Film Festival commenced on Thursday with the world premiere of Dubai-based Iraqi director Yasir Al-Yasiri’s fantasy ‘HWJN’ and a glitzy red carpet featuring Will Smith, Sharon Stone, Baz Luhrmann and and a slew of Arabic star besides Bollywood’s heartthrob Ranveer, as per Variety.

Held in the auditorium of Jeddah’s Ritz Carlton hotel, the opening ceremony reaffirmed this year’s festival theme of “Your story, your festival” given that Jeddah, is also the city where “HWJN,” the opener, is set.

The festival will conclude on December 9.

Coming back to Ranveer, he is all set to surprise audience with his exciting line-up of is films next year.

He will be seen reprising his role of Simmba in Rohit Shetty’s cop drama ‘Singham Again’, which also stars his wife Deepika Padukone, actors Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Ranveer will also headline Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3’.

While announcing the film, Farhan requested the audience to give the same love to Ranveer as they showered on previous Don installments.

After the legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, actor Ranveer Singh is all set to portray the role of Don in the third instalment of the hit franchise.

Director Farhan Akhtar, on Wednesday, officially announced Ranveer as the new ‘Don’ with a special announcement video which received massive responses from the fans.

On Thursday, the ‘Ram-Leela’ actor took to his Instagram and penned down a heartfelt note for the previous Don’s Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.

He shared a string of throwback pictures from his childhood days seen going all guns and glory as he sported glares and holds a gun showcasing some attitude and swag.

He wrote, “Gosh! I’ve been dreaming about doing this for a very, very long time! As a child I fell in love with the movies, and like the rest of us, watching and worshipping Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan – the two G.O.A.Ts of Hindi Cinema. I dreamed of growing up to be like them. They are the very reason I wanted to become an actor and a ‘hindi film hero’. Their impact and influence on my life cannot be overstated. In the teaser, Ranveer can be seen seated in a building with his back to the camera. He lights up a cigarette, introduces himself as Don, and then turns to face the camera. He donned a leather jacket and matching pants for the dapper look and accessorizes it with leather boots and matching sunglasses.

“I understand what a great responsibility it is to be a part of the ‘Don’ dynasty. I hope the audience gives me a chance and showers me with love, the way they have for numerous characters over the past so many years. The ‘Don’ series has always been associated with compelling stories, exhilarating action, and unforgettable moments.

‘Don’ starred Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Boman Irani in prominent roles. The film was released in 2006 and won Best Asian Film at the Neuchatel International Fantastic Film Festival. Later, its sequel was released in 2011 and was declared a hit.

Actor Hrithik Roshan was seen in a special appearance role in ‘Don 2’.

Farhan’s directorial was a remake of 1978’s ‘Don’, featuring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role.

Makers of the upcoming romantic drama film ‘Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ on Tuesday hoisted a special screening of the film where several B-town celebs marked their presence.

Lead actor of the film Ranveer Singh arrived in style and was seen donning a white sweatshirt paired with colourful jeans and sneakers.
The ‘Ram-Leela’ actor was seen dancing on the track ‘What Jhumka’ at the screening and he also clicked pictures with the paps stationed outside the cinema hall.

Ranveer’s ‘RRKPK’ co-star Alia Bhatt arrived at the screening along with her husband Ranbir Kapoor.

The couple was seen twinning in black sweatshirts with the text ‘Team Rocky aur Rani’ written on it.

Celebrity couple Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif also attended the special screening of the film in stylish outfits.

Vicky was seen in an all-denim look, while Katrina opted for a beautiful white dress paired with black boots.

Veteran actor Jaya Bachchan also attended the special screening along with her son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Shweta Bachchan.
