SRK Teaches Kohli ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ Hook Step

Bollywood and cricket make the perfect match. The IPL 2023 match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday saw superstar Shah Rukh Khan casting a spell over cricketers and spectators at the stadium.

After KKR registered a remarkable win against the RCB, the team’s co-owner SRK entered the ground and met all the players. He also interacted with former RCB skipper Virat Kohli.
Several images and videos from the Thursday’s evening fixture went viral. In one of the clips, SRK is seen getting excited at spotting Kohli. He went over to him and gave him a tight hug.

SRK also convinced Kohli to try the viral steps from the Jhoome Jo Pathaan song from his blockbuster ‘Pathaan’.

SRK and Kohli’s brief meeting left fans excited.

Reacting to the duo’s images and videos, a social media user commented, “This made my day.”

“King of Bollywood meeting King of Cricket,” another one wrote.

Shah came to the venue with his daughter Suhana Khan and Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapooir. The team’s co-owner and actor Juhi Chawla also cheered the boys in purple and gold on during their big win over the RCB.

Speaking to ANI, Juhi expressed happiness over the win.

“I’m very happy with our team’s performance. I just hope and pray that all our matches end like this. Every seat at Eden Gardens was occupied. Let’s make the finals this year, let’s be champions,” she added.

KKR ended their innings at 204/7 in 20 overs, with Umesh Yadav (6) and Sunil Narine (0) unbeaten. RCB’s death bowling was a culprit as the side gave away 57 runs in the final four overs. RCB failed to chase the target. RCB were bundled out for 123. (ANI)

SRK Enjoys Paan In Video From NMACC

Several photos and videos of the celebs from the grand NMACC Gala night are surfacing on social media. In a new video, actor Shah Rukh Khan was seen enjoying paan at the event.

Taking to Instagram, German blogger Caroline Daur shared a string of pictures and videos from the Gala night which she captioned, “deeply impressed by the extraordinary exhibition India in Fashion showcasing the fine craftsmanship and elaborately embroidered works celebrating the creatives and the heritage of India.”

In the second last video actors SRK, Ranveer Singh, and Varun Dhawan could be seen dancing to the song ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ at the gala night.

In the last video, the German blogger could be seen enjoying paan next to King Khan.

The ‘Don’ actor could be seen wearing a black kurta.

Soon after she shared the post, SRK fans swamped the comment section and dropped red hearts and fire emoticons.

“Shah Rukh Khan, the king of Bollywood, just casually behind you eating from the buffet is the vibe I am living for,” a fan commented.

Another fan wrote, “wow she’s just casually eating mithai next to shah rukh khan.”

SRK Gives Electrifying Performance With Varun, Ranveer

It was superstar Shah Rukh Khan who got the loudest cheer with his energetic performance on his song ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ at the grand opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre.

On Saturday, SRK took the stage and danced on on ‘Jhoome Jo Pathan’ in front of a cheering crowd with Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh. The trio enthralled the audience by doing the hook step in sync.

The internet is clearly bowled over by SRK’s live performance.

“I am screaming looking at SRK,” a social media user commented.

SRK concluded his performance by doing his signature open-arms pose.

Salman Poses With SRK’s Family

Several Bollywood and Hollywood stars graced the grand opening of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) on Friday in Mumbai. It was a star-studded night, Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan and kids Suhana Khan, Aryan Khan were also present at the event but King Khan was missing in that family frame. But to fill in that place, Salman Khan jumped in and posed with them.

SRK skipped the red carpet and Salman, who arrived solo, posed with Shah Rukh’s family and this moment left the fan in awe.

Not only a family picture, Salman also posed with Aryan and duo looked dapper.

Though Shah Rukh was not present in the family frame, his looks for Friday night set the internet on fire.

Shah Rukh’s manager Pooja Dadlani took to her Instagram to post his look for the event. Shah Rukh looked absolutely dapper in his black suit. He sported a pendant with a black stone to complement the look.

Gauri Lauds Rani’s ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’

Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan gave a shoutout to Rani Mukherjee’s upcoming movie ‘Mrs Chatterjee v/s Norway’.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Gauri posted the poster of the movie with words of appreciation. She wrote, “An impactful performance by Rani… showing why she’s one of the best actresses of our times. Don’t miss this film, it’s brilliant! In a real-life story of resilience and courage, Mrs. Chatterjee takes on an entire nation to protect her children. Witness her fight on 17th March 2023.”
Directed by Ashima Chibber and produced by Zee Studios and Emmay Entertainment, ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ is inspired by true events.

The trailer starts by showing how happily Mrs Chatterjee (Rani) is enjoying her life with her husband and two kids Shubh and Shuchi in Norway. However, one day, government officials come to her house and snatch away the kids from her. She later learns that the kids have been taken away from her by the government after they decide that the Chatterjee’s have been unable to take care for the kids in their ‘prescribed’ manner.

The latter half of the trailer shows Rani fighting against the Norwegian foster care system to win back the custody of her children.

SRK Shares Motivational Words For 10th, 12th Students Ahead Of Board Exams

Shah Rukh Khan motivated 10th and 12th-class students who are giving their board exams.

On Monday, the ‘Pathaan’ actor conducted an #AskSRK session on Twitter, where he answered his fan’s questions.
When a user asked him about to give few words of motivation for students of 10th and 12th who’ll face board examination in the next few weeks.

SRK replied, “Study as hard as you can. Do not get anxious. I used to carry a placard in the school march past…’do your best and leave the rest’ just don’t stress. All the best.”

CBSE Board exams 2023 for classes 10 and 12 got underway across the country.

The examinations of Class 10 and Class 12 are being held from February 15 to April 5, according to an official release from CBSE.

CBSE has made elaborate arrangements for the conduct of examinations in India and in 26 countries abroad to ensure that all the important information for the conduct of examinations is communicated to all responsible officials at the examination centres. CBSE has circulated detailed guidelines to all the stakeholders to ensure that the students are appearing in the examinations without any stress.

Apart from responding to tweets related to Pathaan’s success and upcoming projects, Shah Rukh also addressed questions related to his personal life.

Meanwhile, on the work front, SRK is busy shooting for Atlee’s directorial ‘Jawan’. He recently headed to Pune for the film’s shoot. The film, which also stars Nayanthara, is all set to hit the theatres on June 2 in five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

It is billed as an event film with high-octane action sequences. Shah Rukh’s production company Red Chillies Entertainment has produced it. In June 2022, SRK unveiled the film’s teaser which opened with a glimpse of the Northern Lights over mountain tops.

Shah Rukh Wishes Republic Day To Fans In ‘Pathaan’ Style

As ‘Pathaan’ fever gripped the entire country, superstar Shah Rukh Khan borrowed dialogue from the film to greet his fans on Republic Day greetings.

Taking to Twitter, SRK wrote, “Desh ke liye kya kar sakte ho?
(What can you do for the country?)…Happy Republic Day to everyone. May we cherish all that our Constitution has given us and take our country to greater heights. Jai Hind.”

Shah Rukh delivered the dialogue in ‘Pathaan’ during the action-packed climax sequence with John Abraham, who plays the antagonist in the film.

The actor’s tweet got him multiple replies from fans and followers. Many congratulated him on ‘Pathaan’ minting Rs 57 crore on the opening day itself.

“Congratulations sir. You are the best,” a social media user commented.

“King Khan is back with a bang,” another wrote.

Helmed by Siddharth Anand, ‘Pathaan’ is an action-packed spy-thriller featuring SRK, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.

The film has already managed to enter the Rs 100-crore club.

‘King Khan’ has two more films in the pipeline — Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’ and South director Atlee’s ‘Jawan’.

In Jawan, he will be seen sharing screen space with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi.

Assam CM Gets A 2 AM Call From King Khan Over ‘Pathaan’

Amid raging debate over the upcoming movie ‘Pathaan’, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday said that Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan called him late night and expressed concern over reports about protests by a rightwing outfit in Guwahati against the release of his film.

CM Sarma said that he assured SRK that the state government will maintain law and order and ensure no such incident takes place during the release of his film.

“Bollywood actor Shri @iamsrk called me and we talked today morning at 2 am. He expressed concern about an incident in Guwahati during the screening of his film,” Himanta Biswa Sarma said in a tweet on Sunday.

He assured that the state government will act if any incident of law-and-order violation is reported.

“I assured him that it’s the duty of the state govt to maintain law and order. we will enquire and ensure no such untoward incidents,” he added.

“Action will be taken, if law and order is violated. So far, I have not received any complaints from the cinema hall owners or the makers of the film. If there’s been any incident, Shah Rukh Khan, himself, should have called me up. If he does so, I will look into the matter,” the Assam CM further said.

Notably on Friday, reacting to alleged protests by a rightwing outfit in Assam against the release of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan’, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said he doesn’t know Shah Rukh Khan neither is he aware of the movie ‘Pathaan’.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Sarma said, “Who is Shah Rukh Khan? Why should we care? We already have many Shah Rukh Khans?”

Earlier on Friday, he said people should instead talk about the release of Assamese film ‘Dr Bezabaruah 2’.

“I have not heard about any movie by the name of ‘Pathaan’ and neither do I have any time for it,” CM Sarma said.

“We should rather focus on watching the Assamese movie Dr. Bezbaruah part 2, which has been directed by Sanjive Narain,” he added.

Several rightwingers allegedly stormed into a cinema hall in Assam’s Narengi on Friday, vandalising property and burning down posters of ‘Pathaan’.

Earlier, on January 5, members of the same rightwing outfit allegedly created a ruckus at Alpha One Mall in Ahmedabad’s Vastrapur, wrecking property and tearing down posters of the movie.

‘Pathaan’ has been mired in controversy ever since Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra objected to one of its songs — ‘Besharam Rang’.

Mishra had said, “The costumes in the song, at first glance, are objectionable. It is clear that the song of the film ‘Pathaan’ has been shot with a dirty mindset.”

SRK Gives A Cute Name To New Mommy Alia

Actors Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt, who worked together in ‘Dear Zindagi’ in 2016, share a great bond.

Whenever they get a chance to talk about each other in public, the two always have good things to say. The stars’ fun banter on Twitter is proof of this fact.
After a long time, Alia and SRK interacted on Twitter during the latter’s #AskSRK session on Wednesday.

A social media user asked SRK why does Alia call him SR. The user’s question caught SRK’s attention and he replied, “Could mean sweet and romantic or maybe senior and respected or maybe just shah rukh.”

Alia was quick to respond as she clarified what she means when she calls the Badshah of Bollywood ‘SR’.

She tweeted, “More like sweet and respected …But from 25th Jan I’m going to switch to calling you Pathaan. See I’m so creative na.”

To Alia’s tweet, SRK gave a cute response. He called the new mommy in town Alia Bhatt “Lil Amma Bhatt Kapoor.”

“Done Lil one. And I am now going to call u Lil Amma Bhatt Kapoor,” he responded.

Apart from ‘Dear Zindagi’, Alia and SRK also have worked together on ‘Darlings’, which was released on Netflix in 2022. Alia co-produced the film with Shah Rukh.

SRK also praised actor Deepika Padukone during his #AskSRK session.

When a user asked him to describe Deepika in one word, he tweeted, “She is so nice it’s unbelievable…”

Sana Saeed a.k.a Anjali from the hit film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Csaba Wagner.

Taking to Instagram, Sana treated fans with a glimpse of her dreamy proposal.
In the video, Csaba went down on his knee and pulled out a ring, Sana got emotional and said yes. They hugged each other and sealed it with a kiss.

Actor Tanuj Virwani wrote, “Wowwwww congratulations.”

Actor Mukti Mohan dropped sweet wishes and wrote, “Whooaa. Stay blessed you two!!Congratulations.”

Talking about Csaba is a company director and supervising sound engineer based out of Los Angeles. He often shared pictures with Sana on social media.

Sana made her acting debut as a child artist in the blockbuster film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. Helmed by Karan Johar, the film stars Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan, and Rani Mukerji. Salman Khan had a special appearance.
