Ram Charan’s Makeup Artist Alleges SRK Disrespected ‘RRR’ Actor

South actor Ram Charan’s makeup artist Zeba Hassan alleged that superstar Shah Rukh Khan disrespected the ‘RRR’ actor with his “Idly vada” remark at the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar.

Hassan also claimed that she “walked out” of the event after that happened.

Taking to Instagram, Hassan posted a video on her stories where Shah Rukh invited Ram Charan on stage which she captioned, “Bhend idly vada Ram Charan kahan hai tu?? I walked out after this. So disrespectful for a star like @alwaysramcharan.”

On Day 2 of the gala event, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman, and Aamir performed the hook step of the Ram Charan and NTR Jr starrer ‘RRR’ song ‘Naatu Naatu’ on the stage.

After that, SRK asked Ram Charan, who also joined the festivities, to come on stage and shake a leg with them.

He jokingly said some gibberish words, seemingly in Tamil or Telugu language which have hurt the sentiments of RRR actor’s makeup artist.

Soon after she made the claims, several social media users expressed their disappointment over SRK’s ‘idly’ remarks and called them “insensitive.”

A user wrote, “As a South Indian I feel very anguished on SRK for calling Ram Charan Sir by racist way.”

Another user wrote, “Calling a South Indian ‘idli vada’ can never be funny.”

However, several SRK fans landed in support of the ‘Don’ actor saying that the ‘Chak De India’ actor’s remarks on stage were similar to his dialogues from one of his films ‘One 2 Ka 4’.

Taking to X, users shared the clip of SRK’s dialogue from the film.

While some pointed out how SRK bowed to Ram Charan as he arrived on the stage, even though he is a senior actor.

The three-day pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant were held in Jamnagar from March 1 to March 3.

SRK Rehearses For His Performance At WPL’s Opening Ceremony

Looks like Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is ready to perform at the opening ceremony of the second season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL).

The opening ceremony of the second season of WPL will be a star-studded affair.

Getting ready to perform on Friday at the opening ceremony, SKR can be seen rehearsing his dance moves in the video shared by WPL’s X handle.

In the video, he can also be seen doing his signature pose.

Not only SRK but Shahid Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Varun Dhawan and Tiger Shroff will also perform at the opening ceremony.

On Wednesday, WPL’s social media team shared that the King Khan has been chosen as a star performer at WPL’s opening ceremony.

The second season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) will kickstart from Friday, with defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) set to take on last year’s runners-up Delhi Capitals in a high-octane tournament opener in Bengaluru at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The opening match of the tournament could be the perfect tone-setter for Delhi, as they would be looking forward to moving past the heartbreak of last year’s loss to Mumbai in the finals and securing the gold. Meg Lanning would have her eyes set on the gold, hoping to hold the newest championship title of women’s franchise cricket after conquering international cricket Australia all over the world.

The tournament will go on till March 17 and will be held in Bengaluru and Delhi.

The summit clash will take place on March 17 in New Delhi while the eliminator will be played on March 15. The upcoming edition will be hosted by Delhi and Bengaluru. (ANI)

SRK, Suhana Offers Prayers At Shirdi Ahead Of Dunki Release

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is all set to come up with his upcoming movie ‘Dunki’ in a week, on Thursday visited the famous Sai Baba temple in Shirdi along with his daughter Suhana Khan.

Several videos and pictures of the ‘Jawan’ actor surfaced on social media in which he could be seen walking along with the pilgrims amid security.

SRK kept it casual and was seen donning a black jacket that he teamed up with a white t-shirt, jogger and a cap.

Suhana was seen dressed in ethnic attire.

On Tuesday, Shah Rukh Khan visited the famed Vaishno Devi Temple in Jammu.

Previously, too, he visited the famous temple before the release of his comeback film ‘Pathaan’ in January and also before the release of ‘Jawan’.

Talking about his next release ‘Dunki’, the film is all set to hit the theatres on December 21.

SRK Patiently Waits For Security Check At Mumbai Airport

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday won his fans’ hearts as he patiently waited for the security check at the Mumbai airport.

SRK arrived at the airport premises along with his manager Pooja Dadlani.

Several pictures and videos of the actor surfaced on social media in which he could be seen donning an all-black outfit.

He wore a black jacket paired with black pants and accessorized his look with black shades and a hair band.

In a new viral video, SRK could be seen waiting patiently for the security check at the airport.

SRK Credits Gauri To Teach Dignity To All Kids

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan are one of the most celebrated rock-solid couples in B-town.

They are doting parents of three kids Suhana Khan, Aryan Khan and AbRam.

Suhana is all set to make her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film ‘The Archies’ which will stream on the OTT platform Netflix.

Recently she arrived at the launch of a book Koel Purie Rinchet’s debut novel ‘Clearly Invisible In Paris’ where she received a lot of praises for her speech.

On Wednesday, her mother Gauri recalled her first book launch event with Shah Rukh Khan and said that it feels like “life has come full circle!”

Gauri shared a video and her daughter’s picture from the event and wrote, “The first event I ever attended with @iamsrk was a book launch… and now watching Suhana speak at another such event has made me feel like life has come full circle!”

Reacting to Gauri’s tweet SRK gave credit to his wife to educate, teach dignity and desire to share love to all three kids.

He wrote, “Yeah the circle of life is closing in for us with our babies helping us complete it. You’ve done so well with the three of them…educated them, taught them dignity & desire to share love…& Suhana is so articulate but the dimple is mine!!”

Soon after SRK shared the tweet, fans flooded the comment section and dropped red hearts emoticons.

Father’s Day: SRK Wishes Suhana For Debut ‘The Archies’

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan wished daughter Suhana Khan all the best for her debut film, ‘The Archies’, on Father’s Day.

Sharing the teaser of ‘The Archies’ on his Instagram handle, King Khan wrote, “On Father’s Day here’s wishing the best to my baby… all the babies… and Tiger Baby… for #TheArchies!”

To this, Suhana replied, ” luv uuuu.”

Earlier, on Saturday, the film’s teaser was released during Netflix’s Tudum fan event.

The film marks the debut of Suhana, Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor and megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya.

The over-one-minute teaser reveals that the film is set in 1964 in Riverdale, described on a railway sign as a “hill station,” a term dating back to colonial times that refers to a town located at a higher elevation than the nearby plain.

One of the transport links servicing the hill stations are small mountain railway trains running on narrow gauge tracks, known affectionately as “toy trains”, and the teaser opens with a shot of the top train puffing into Riverdale station.

The Archies gang play music and dance at parties and classrooms while also enjoying their time outdoors. The teaser also offers a glimpse of the gang — Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor — falling in love and going through heartbreaks. Young actors Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda and Vedang Raina also feature in the film’s cast.

Shah Rukh made his much-awaited comeback after a hiatus of 4 years with Siddharth Anand’s blockbuster action-thriller ‘Pathaan’, which was released in January this year.

Shah Rukh will be next seen in the upcoming action-thriller ‘Jawan’, which is all set to hit the theatres on September 7.

Helmed by South filmmaker Atlee, the film also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. The film is billed to pack high-octane action sequences. Shah Rukh’s production company Red Chillies Entertainment has produced the actioner.

He also has director Rajkumar Hirani’s next ‘Dunki’ opposite actor Taapsee Pannu. The official release date of ‘Dunki’ is still awaited. (ANI)
