Ayushmann Hails Wife Tahira on World Cancer Day

Ayushmann Khurrana is not only an amazing actor but he is also a loving and caring husband. He has always supported his wife and author Tahira Kashyap and they both stood by each other in difficult times. She is a breast cancer survivor.

Ayushmann praised Tahira’s unwavering spirit on World Cancer Day and wrote a touching post using photos that showed Tahira’s brave battle with the disease.

In the post, he uploaded a series of pictures, starting with the couple posing for a mirror selfie and ending with Tahira showing off her operation scar. The third image shows Tahira wearing an orange t-shirt with denim and a fashionable cap and the post concludes with a boomerang video of her doing an exercise.

He captioned it with, “The girl I pulled by having samosa and chai at hut number 14 in Panjab University. All the best for your debut at the @spokenfest today. In love with your heart and spirit @tahirakashyap ..#WorldCancerDay”

Tahira was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. She took to her Instagram account and made the shocking revelation.

Her post read, “An opportunity to give competition to the Kardashians just went wasted! A week back I mentioned about ‘my badge of honour’ that I was going to receive. And I did and am happy to share about it with the intention of it being received with love. As that’s the only reason I am posting it. Love for self and gratitude for the universe. The picture might be disturbing for some, but these drains have become my dumbells for a few days. I was detected with DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ) in my right breast with high grade malignant cells. Simply put stage 0 cancer/ pre-cancerous stage, with cancer cells multiplying in a contained area. The result I have become a half Indian version of Angelina Jolie (since only one breast was involved)!”

“I told my doctor now is the time to give some competition to the Kardashians since Pamela is passe. But no one listened to me, so now I have a portion of my back tissue in my breast. Perhaps now I can do chin-ups with my breasts! Jokes apart, this obstacle has given me a new definition of life. Respect it’s unpredictability and have the faith and courage to be the hero of your own drama of life. The invincible human spirit is God like, gives you the courage to endure and the will to revive. There is nothing that human spirit can’t do,” she added.

Ayushmann and Tahira got married in 2008 and have two kids, a son Virajveer and a daughter Varushka. (ANI)

Ayushmann Celebrates Wife’s B’day In Dhaba Style

Our ‘Bollywood husbands’ always amaze their fans with their innovative birthday posts for their wives. Actor Ayushmann Khurrana wished his wife Tahira Kashyap a ‘happy birthday’ in his signature poetic style on Saturday.

Ayushmann took to Instagram to treat his fans with the celebration pictures. He captioned the frames, “Birthday ka matlab hota hai ki manji daal ke highway ke dhaabe pe so jao.”

In one of the frames, Tahira is seen exactly translating Ayushmann’s words into action. The birthday girl also took a selfie with her husband, in which both look sleepy. The couple seemed to enjoy good music as well, as the video of a performing artiste featured in the actor’s post.

Fans rushed to the comment section of the ‘Anek’ actor and showered their love.

“An artist Appreciating Another artist is the best thing you can see on the internet”, wrote a fan.

Aayushmann and Tahira have been married for fifteen years. They are proud parents to lovely kids, Virajveer and Varushka. Tahira is a breast cancer survivor. Having recovered, Tahira spreads awareness of this critical illness through social media. She has also ventured into the direction as well.

After witnessing a meteoric rise a few years back, the ‘Andhadhun’ actor saw a dull patch on the work front last year. ‘Anek’, and ‘Doctor G’ tanked at the box office, whereas, ‘An Action Hero’ received a mixed response from the audience. Aayushmann will return to the big screen with the sequel of his hit comedy, ‘Dream Girl.’ He is paired with Ananya Panday this time. (ANI)

Kartik Flaunts Bundle Of Notes Won At Ayushmann’s Diwali Party

Actor Kartik Aaryan won loads of cash at a pre-Diwali house party of Ayushmann Khurrana. On Sunday, the ‘Andhadhun’ actor along with his wife Tahira Kashyap hosted the party. It was star-studded including Kartik, Rakul Preet Singh, Varun Dhawan- Natasha Dalal, Ananya Panday, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Kriti Sanon, and others.

Taking to his Instagram handle, the ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ actor dropped a video featuring Kartik from the Diwali party.

Ayushmann was heard saying, “This man won money not only at the box office but also at the Diwali bash.”

To which Kartik responded, he said, All this money should be given to ‘Doctor G’ and also urged people to go and watch the film.

Sharing the video, the ‘Badhaai Ho’ ‘actor wrote, “Yeh aadmi chahta hai ki #DoctorG ko box office par paise milne chahiye!! @kartikaaryan.”

Meanwhile, on the film front, Ayushmann is all set to come up with ‘Doctor G’, in which he will be seen as a male gynecologist. Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah are also a part of the film, which is directed by Anubhuti Kashyap. The film is scheduled to release on October 14.

Ayushmann also has ‘An Action Hero’ in his kitty. The film has been produced by Anand L Rai and T Series. Jaideep Ahlawat will be seen sharing screen space with Ayushmann in the movie.

Kartik, on the other hand, will be seen sharing screen space with Kiara Advani in ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’. It marks the second collaboration of Kartik and Kiara after their blockbuster hit horror comedy film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. Helmed by Sameer Vidhwans, and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is all set to hit the theatres on June 29, 2023. He will also be seen in ‘Shehzada’ opposite Kriti Sanon. The film is helmed by David Dhawan’s son Rohit Dhawan and is slated to release on February 10, 2023. (ANI)
