Salman To Bring ‘Tiger Ka Message’ On Yash Chopra’s Birth Anniv

Get ready to receive a special message from Tiger a.k.a Salman Khan and the makers of the highly anticipated film ‘Tiger 3’.

Taking to Instagram, Salman shared an announcement poster with details on it.

He captioned the post, which read, “Ek message hai. Deta hoon…KAL.#TigerKaMessageKal11AM

#Tiger3 arriving in cinemas this Diwali. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. @katrinakaif | #ManeeshSharma | @yrf | #YRF50 | #YRFSpyUniverse.”

As soon as Salman posted this news, fans and followers flooded then comment section.

One of the users wrote, “Love you Bhai, finally. TIGER3 MANIA FROM TOMORROW.”

Another commented, “Tiger is back.”

“Can’t wait for tiger 3 but over excited for bajrangi bhaijaan 2,” another user comment read.

Fans are expecting for the trailer to be launched tomorrow.

Makers will be launch the special video to pay tribute to the legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra on his birth anniversary on September 27 (Wednesday).

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the details about Tiger’s message on Instagram.

He wrote, “SALMAN KHAN – KATRINA KAIF – ‘TIGER 3’: TIGER KA MESSAGE TOMORROW… ARE YOU READY?… #TigerKaMessage – a prelude to the theatrical trailer of #Tiger3 – will be launched TOMORROW [27 Sept 2023]… At 11 am IST.#SalmanKhan and #KatrinaKaif reunite in this #ManeeshSharma directorial… #Diwali2023 release in #Hindi, #Tamil and #Telugu. #YRF.”

Maneesh Sharma has helmed the film made under YRF banner. Reportedly, it also stars Emraan Hashmi as an antagonist. However, no official announcement of Emraan’s casting has been made yet.  

Salman and Katrina will reunite on screen after the 2019 film ‘Bharat’. Prior to it, the duo featured in hits like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and Partner.

‘Tiger 3’ will hit the theatres this Diwali.

In October, Salman will be seen hosting the 17th season of ‘Bigg Boss’. (ANI)

Karan and Hrithik on pamela last rites

Pamela Cremated; Karan, Hrithik Attend Last Rites

Pamela Chopra, singer and wife of late filmmaker Yash Chopra, was cremated at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Vile Parle, Mumbai on Thursday.

The official social media handle of the Yash Raj films shared the news of her demise. The post read, “With heavy hearts, the Chopra family would like to inform that Pamela Chopra, 74, passed away this morning. Her cremation took place at 11 AM today in Mumbai. We are grateful for your prayers and the family would like to request for privacy in this moment of deep sadness and reflection.”

The younger son of the Chopra couple, Uday was present at the last rites. Rani Mukerji was also present. The close friends of Chopra family joined the last rites of Pam, as she was fondly called by the Hindi film industry.

Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar, Anupam Kher, Anil Kapoor, and Sonu Nigam came to pay their last respect to Pamela. Yash Chopra’s brother B R Chopra’s family also attended the last rites.

According to sources close to the Chopra family, she was being treated for pneumonia for the past few days at the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. She was on ventilator for last 15 days. Pamela is survived by her two sons, Aditya and Uday.

Industry insiders call Pamela the ‘muse’ of Yash Chopra. She was an active collaborator in her husband’s creative pursuits. She was recently seen in the Netflix documentary ‘The Romantics’, in which, she talked about her husband’s way of filmmaking and how Yash Raj Studio evolved over the years.

Yash and Pamela got married in 1970 and were blessed with two sons.

Pamela used to sing well and lent her voice in many of Yash Chopra’s films. One of her most famous songs was ‘Main Sasural Nahi Jaungi’ (Chandni) and ‘Ghar Aaja Pardesi’ (Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge).

Pamela also wrote the story of Amitabh Bachchan and Rakhee starrer ‘Kabhi Kabhie’ and was credited as the designer for the 1981 release ‘Silsila.’

The late filmmaker in many of his interviews used to talk about his wife’s creative inputs into films. The couple got featured in the song ‘Ek Duje Ke Vaaste’ from the Yash Chopra blockbuster ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’, released in 1997. She even produced films independently. (ANI)

Anupam and Anil Revisit Old Memories Posing Outside Yash Chopra’s Residence

Close friends Anupam Kher and Anil Kapoor recalled their old memories by visiting the late director Yash Chopra’s residence.

On Wednesday, taking to his Instagram handle, Anupam dropped a video with Anil.

Sharing the video, “In front of Yash Ji’s house: Anil Kapoor and I at #YashChopra stopped in front of the house and refreshed old memories and took blessings! Yash ji has a huge contribution in our (my specially) life! Thank you Sir ji for your love and the moments spent with you! Incidentally today is also #33YearsOfChandni!#Legend #AnupamKher.”

In the video, the actors- Anil and Anupam were seen standing outside filmmaker Yash Chopra’s residence. They were seen discussing about their struggles and both were dressed in sports wear as it seems they have stepped out for a run.

The actors have been spotted together on many occasions. They have done films like ‘Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain’, ‘Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain’, ‘Ram Lakhan, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’, ‘Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hain’.

And it has also been 33 years since the ‘A Wednesday’ actor blockbuster movie ‘Chandni’ was released. The movie was one of 1989’s biggest box office hits was Chandni. The movie won the National Award the same year in the ‘Best Popular Film’ category. The movie also established Sridevi as the biggest female star of the 80s. ‘Chandni’ also starred Rishi Kapoor and Vinod Khanna. The film was helmed by Yash Chopra.

As soon as the video was posted, the actor’s family and friends chimed into the comment section.

Anupam’s son Sikandar Kher dropped a comment. He wrote,” Yash uncle, Pam aunty, and all the Sunday lunches,” with a heart emoji.

Talking about the work front, Anupam Kher is busy shooting for his films ‘Emergency’ and ‘The Signature’. He will also be seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Uunchai’, which is scheduled to hit the theatres on November 11 this year.

Apart from this, he is super happy to be a part of the Telugu drama ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’, which is headlined by Ravi Teja.

On the other hand, Anil is currently riding high on the success of his recently released film ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo,’ which also starred Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and Neetu Kapoor in the lead roles.

He will be next seen in an aerial action thriller film ‘Fighter’ alongside Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the official release date of the film is still awaited. (ANI)
