‘Cocktail 2’ First Song ‘Jab Talak’ To Release On April 8

The makers of ‘Cocktail 2’ have unveiled a fresh update, intensifying anticipation around one of the most talked-about upcoming films.

On Wednesday, Maddock Films released new posters featuring lead actors Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Kriti Sanon, while also announcing that the film’s first song, ‘Jab Talak’, will drop on April 8.

The newly released posters offer a glimpse into the film’s mood, hinting at a breezy, road trip-themed narrative.

The trio is seen seated inside a car, set against a picturesque coastal backdrop with a clear blue ocean, sandy beach, and a wooden fence lining the road.

Shahid Kapoor takes the driver’s seat, dressed in a white sleeveless undershirt and sunglasses, looking directly toward the camera. Kriti Sanon is positioned in the back seat, sporting a vibrant, patterned top and sunglasses, glancing back toward the camera. Rashmika Mandanna, seated in the front passenger seat, appears at ease in a white top and sunglasses, completing the laid-back vibe of the scene.

The film, written by Luv Ranjan and directed by Homi Adajania, has already wrapped its shoot. Marking the milestone, Adajania shared a photograph from the wrap party on Instagram.

The image features the director alongside Shahid, Rashmika, and Kriti, all smiling. In his caption, Adajania described the moment as “a tad special,” adding a personal touch to the production update.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, ‘Cocktail 2’ is slated for a theatrical release on June 19, 2026.

The sequel follows the legacy of the 2012 film ‘Cocktail’, which explored a modern love triangle and resonated strongly with audiences for its portrayal of relationships and friendship.
