We Have A Beautiful Relationship: Deepika On Pairing With SRK

Ahead of the highly anticipated release of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan’, the film’s female lead Deepika Padukone recently spoke about how her magical pairing with SRK has always managed to deliver a blockbuster.

Deepika made her Bollywood debut in 2007 alongside the superstar in ‘Om Shanti Om’. Following that she again worked with SRK in ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Happy New Year’, with all of the films proving to be successful at the box office.
Now, with ‘Pathaan’ set to release on January 25, in a video shared by the movie’s production house, Yash Raj Films, Deepika said, “Shah Rukh & I have been very lucky to have had the opportunity to work in some incredible movies starting with ‘Om Shanti Om’! I’m collaborating with my most favourite co-star Shah Rukh. We have a beautiful relationship and I think the audience always see that in the movies that we do.”

Speaking about their on-screen chemistry and the work they have put into the upcoming action-thriller, she continued, “Well, he and I can both take credit for that. Again he was also on this intense diet and exercise. So, he and I can both take credit for the work we have put individually. But at the end of the day, it is the team that you work with.”

“Whether it is the director (Siddharth Anand) and his vision or it’s the cinematographer (Satchith Paulose) and how he is envisioning lighting us, whether it’s the stylist (Shaleena Nathani) – how she envisions these characters, whether it is your hair and make-up team. So, it’s your entire team that sort of comes together, so sure you can put in the work and do the best you can but you also have incredible world-class professionals who come in and make us look the way we do!” added Deepika.

For Deepika, ‘Pathaan’ is a very special film in her filmography. She will play the role of a ruthless spy and will be seen pulling off jaw-dropping action sequences.

“The character that I am playing in this movie is extremely exciting, it is something that I haven’t done before and even the movie – just this kind of spy thriller, an out-and-out action movie is something I haven’t done before,” she siad.

‘Pathaan’ is part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe and stars SRK, Deepika and John Abraham. The adrenaline-pumping film will come out in theatres in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. (ANI)

Deepika Sails On Yacht With Ranveer

Actor Deepika Padukone extended New Year greetings and shared a thankful note for all the warm birthday wishes on Friday.

Taking to Instagram, Deepika shared a video which she captioned, “A glimpse of what the past year has been like, at least on most days, and what I intend for it to be more of in the new year: Being Present. May we all Thrive, Be Present and Live In Gratitude this year…Happy New Year! PS: Here’s thanking each and every one of you for the birthday blessings.”

In the video, Deepika could be seen in a state of bliss and enjoying the breeze on a yacht while her husband Ranveer Singh turned videographer and captured her at the moment.

She was seen wearing a yellow monokini with a white shirt.

Soon after she shared the post, fans flooded the comment section with red hearts and fire emoticons.

Bipasha Basu commented, “Belated happy birthday love.”

“You’re so precious deepika,” a fan commented.

Another fan wrote, “Happy birthday, this post reminds me to gehrahiyan.”

Talking about the work front, Deepika will be next seen in director Siddharth Anand’s upcoming action thriller film ‘Pathaan’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham which is all set to hit the theatres on January 25, 2023.

Apart from that, she also has ‘The Intern’ with Amitabh Bachchan, a Pan India film ‘Project K’ alongside Prabhas and director Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’ with Ajay Devgn in her pipeline. (ANI)

SRK Flaunts His Abs, Gauri Has A Funny Reaction

Shah Rukh Khan posted a photo of himself on his social media account and well, we just can’t keep our eyes off!

SRK posted a shirtless photo of himself on Instagram and wrote, “Tum hoti toh kaisa hota….Tum iss baat pe hairaan hoti, Tum iss baat pe kitni hansti…….Tum hoti toh aisa hota..Me also waiting for #Pathaan.”
As soon as he uploaded the photo of his ripped body, his fans couldn’t help but flood his comment section with love and appreciation. But one special comment came from his wife Gauri Khan who wrote, “Oh God! Now he’s talking to his shirts also…..!!!”

Actor Richa Chadha, who is soon going to marry Ali Fazal, wrote a funny comment. She wrote, “Jin logon ki shaadiyan hone ko hai… ehtiyat baratna hoga”.

Tiger Shroff took inspiration from SRK and wrote, “I was thinking of taking a rest day. And then I saw this. Legend”

Helmed by Siddharth Anand, ‘Pathaan’ also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles and is slated to hit the theatres on January 25, 2023.

Earlier, the makers unveiled the motion posters and a short teaser of the film, which increased the excitement among the fans.

“I’m thrilled with the unanimously positive response to every asset of the film that we have launched so far. Starting with the announcement video, to Shah Rukh Khan’s first look at the film, to us unveiling a glimpse of Deepika Padukone. We are fortunate that everything has been loved by audiences. What the audience thinks and feels is of utmost importance to us all and we are happy that Pathaan has started off on such a strong note with them. I always endeavor to give audiences a theatrical experience that sets new benchmarks in Indian cinema. We are all working very hard so that Pathaan, hopefully, does the same when it releases,” he added.

‘Pathaan’ marks the fourth on-screen collaboration of Deepika and Shah Rukh Khan after ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Happy New Year’ and ‘Chennai Express’.Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film is slated to release on January 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Apart from ‘Pathaan’, SRK will be also seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming film ‘Dunki’ alongside Taapsee Pannu and in south director Atlee’s upcoming action thriller film ‘Jawan’ opposite south actor Nayanthara, which is all set to hit the theatres on June 2, 2023. (ANI)
