Modi Raut

Modi Will Not Become PM In 2024: Raut

Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) faction leader Sanjay Raut has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not become PM again in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing a Press Conference, Raut said “The INDIA Alliance has been formed especially for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and discussions related to 2024 elections take place in the alliance meeting. I say with certainty that the BJP government will not be formed in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Modi ji will not be the Prime Minister in 2024, BJP government will not remain at the centre.”

“Congress is a big party in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Telangana. So Congress will decide whom to take along and whom not to take,” Sanjay Raut added.

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Working President Supriya Sule on Wednesday stated that discussions regarding seat allocation within the INDIA alliance are in progress.

“The seat-sharing talks are underway for several states and it has not stopped. Every state has its own permutations and combinations. The work is going on,” Sule said while talking to reporters.

Earlier, the opposition parties, united under the banner of the INDIA on August 31-September 1, concluded their third meeting in Maharashtra and adopted resolutions to collectively contest the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections while announcing that seat-sharing arrangements would be finalized as soon as possible through a spirit of give-and-take.

After a two-day meeting of the opposition Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance coalition four main committees were formed in which members of all the political parties were included.

INDIA alliance is a group of opposition parties, including the Congress and the parties have come together to take on the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), which is led by PM Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and prevent it from winning a third straight term at the Centre in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Elections will be held in the five crucial states of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Mizoram between November 7 and 30, and the results will be declared on December 3. (ANI)

AIADMK BJP

Not Just AIADMK, More Parties Will Break Ties With BJP: Raut

After The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) broke all ties with Bharatiya Janata Party and NDA, Shiv Sena (UBT) Sanjay Raut has said that Not just AIADMK, but more parties will break ties with the BJP.

Sanjay Raut in press conference said “When we formed INDIA alliance that is when they remembered NDA. Till then it was ‘Modi akele kafi hai’. But the moment INDIA alliance was formed, PM Modi was not enough alone, they needed more support. The NDA alliance which does not have Shiv Sena and Akali Dal is not NDA. Shiv Sena and Akali Dal were the real strength of NDA. This NDA is very weak. Not just AIADMK, but more parties will break ties with the BJP. BJP will also sink before 2024.”

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) lost a key ally in Tamil Nadu on Monday when the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) snapped its ties with the ruling party at the Centre. This came as a jolt to the BJP, just months before the 2024 Lok Sabha polls as well as key state assembly elections preceding that.

“The state leadership of the BJP has been continuously making unnecessary remarks about our former leaders, our general secretary EPS (K Palaniswami) and our cadres for the past year. In today’s meeting, this resolution was passed unanimously that AIADMK will break all ties with BJP and NDA alliance,” AIADMK leader KP Munuswamy said.

Munuswamy alleged that the state BJP has been intentionally attacking former Chief Minister Jayalalitha and Annadurai.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav said that BJP lost a major ally in south India and it is a big loss to the party.

“If you look at South India, then you would see that a major ally of NDA has quit the alliance. I think this will be a big loss to BJP. Shiv Sena, JD(U) and Akali Dal have already quit the alliance,” Yadav said.

The BJP which lost Karnataka (the only southern state it ruled) this year, managed to join hands with the Janata Dal (Secular) this week. However, with AIADMK exiting the NDA fold today, the political landscape in south India changes once again for the BJP. (ANI)

China In Special Session

Discuss China In Special Session: Raut Takes Dig At Modi

Shiv Sena (UBT-Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader on Sunday took a potshot at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the alleged Chinese intrusion in Ladakh.

Raut said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should discuss China in the special session of the parliament without any fear.

Taking to ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter), Raut said, “It has been learned that PM Modi has called for a special session of the parliament in the ‘Amrit Kaal’ to discuss China’s occupation of India’s land and the publication of the map of the newly occupied part”.

“Discuss China in the special session without any fear. We will support the government in this discussion”, Raut added.

Earlier, Congress MP Raul Gandhi, during his visit to Ladakh hit out at the Centre saying that its claim that not an inch of Indian land was taken by China’s People Liberation Army (PLA) troops “is not true”.

The Congress MP claimed the locals, too, contend that Indian territory was intruded upon and taken by the Chinese troops, adding that it was a matter of concern.

“The locals here are concerned about China taking our land. They have said that the Chinese troops took away their grazing land. However, the PM says not an inch of land was taken away. This is not true, you can ask anyone here,” Rahul had said.

Responding to Rahul’s remark, Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, earlier, took a jibe at the former stating that nobody takes his statements seriously.

“I think Rahul Gandhi should delve into the history of land losses during his grandfather’s, grandmother’s, and father’s tenures. And all the land that was lost was during that time. No one takes Rahul Gandhi’s statements seriously,” Shekhawat had said.

Meanwhile, the Modi government called for a special session between September 18 to 20.

The monsoon session of parliament, which concluded last month, was held in the old Parliament building.

The announcement of the Special Session came as a surprise in political circles with the parties gearing up for assembly polls in five states later this year.

The winter session of Parliament usually begins in the last week of November. (ANI)

Modi Raut

If Nawaz, Modi Can Meet, Then Why Not: Raut

Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction) leader Sanjay Raut on Sunday remarked that if former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Narendra Modi could meet, then why not Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar?

Talking about the speculations of Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar meeting, the Shiv Sena (UBT) leader has said, “If Nawaz Sharif and PM Narendra Modi can meet, then why not Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar? We get to know from the media that Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar met yesterday, Sharad Pawar will speak on it soon. I think Sharad Pawar invited Ajit Pawar for the INDIA bloc meeting.”

Talking further, Raut also said that even both Deputy CMs of Maharashtra are not happy with this current government.

“Anything can happen in politics. Ajit Pawar, Devendra Fadnavis and people of Maharashtra are not happy with this current government.”

Raut also said that if Priyanka Gandhi would fight from Varanasi in the coming Lok Sabha polls against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, then she will surely win.

Talking to the Press in a conference, Raut said, “Varanasi people want Priyanka Gandhi. The fight for Rae Bareli, Varanasi and Amethi is tough for BJP. People must stand with Rahul Gandhi. It’s my view, If Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi fights from Varanasi against PM Narendra Modi then she will elect for sure against him.”

Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders in Madhya Pradesh have filed complaints against Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, MP Congress chief Kamal Nath and former Union Minister Arun Yadav’s Twitter handles over a post accusing the state government in Madhya Pradesh of ‘corruption’, police said.

According to a statement released on the official X (formally known as Twitter) handle of Indore Commissioner of Police (CP) late on Saturday night, local BJP’s legal cell convener Nimesh Pathak lodged a complaint with claims of a fake letter, bearing the name of a person named, Gyanendra Awasthi, was being circulated on social media with allegations that the contractors in the state were being asked to pay 50 per cent commission.

Based on the complaint, a case under sections 420, and 469 of IPC has been registered at Indore’s Sanyogitaganj police station, the police said.

A similar case under sections 469, 500, and 501 of the IPC has been registered in Bhopal as well following a complaint by local leaders of the party, officials said.

Earlier on Friday, Congress national general secretary, Priyanka Gandhi, alleged that a union of contractors from Madhya Pradesh has written a letter to the Chief Justice of the High Court, complaining their payment is released only after paying 50 per cent commission. (ANI)

Shinde on MLAs

Shinde Will Be Replaced Soon; 16 MLAs Will Be Disqualified: Raut

Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Monday reiterated his claim that Nationalist Congress Party leader Ajit Pawar who was sworn in as the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra a day ago would soon replace Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Raut also said that 16 MLAs who were part of the split in Shiv Sena almost a year ago are going to be “disqualified”.
“Today I am saying this in front of the camera, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra is going to change. Eknath Shinde is being removed. Eknath Shinde and the 16 MLAs are going to be disqualified,” Raut said while talking to ANI.

Raut’s remark came after NCP leader Ajit Pawar joined the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance in Maharashtra and took oath as Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister on Sunday.

Raut further said that Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress will fight “unitedly” in Maharashtra.

“BJP is breaking Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress but this will not benefit them at all. In Maharashtra, we will fight unitedly. It is shocking that PM Modi had said that the leaders of NCP are involved in corruption and now those leaders have taken oath in Raj Bhawan,” Raut said.

In June 2022, a group of Shiv Sena MLAs led by Eknath Shinde rebelled against Uddhav Thackeray – saying that the latter’s decision to align with the Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party went against the party’s Hindutva ideology.

Shinde, then cabinet minister in the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government, led the revolt which vertically split the Shiv Sena.

The downfall of MVA paved the formation of BJP-Balasahebanchi Shiv Sena. On June 30, Shinde was sworn in as CM and Fadnavis, his deputy.

On Sunday too after the oath-taking ceremony of Ajit Pawar, who became the second Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra along with the present deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis after joining the NDA government, Raut had said that in just a few days, Maharashtra will get another Chief Minister.

“We already knew that this process was going on. About this, I had said earlier also that it can happen. The sword of disqualification that was hanging over Eknath Shinde is about to fall soon. The 16 MLAs who went with him will be disqualified. In just a few days, Maharashtra will get another Chief Minister,” Raut had said. (ANI)

Raut Threat From Lawrence

Raut Gets Death Threat From Lawrence Bishnoi Gang

Uddhav Thackeray faction leader and MP Sanjay Raut has allegedly received a death threat message from Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Mumbai Police said on Saturday.

Raut has filed a written complaint in this regard and an investigation into the matter is underway, the police said.
“Sanjay Raut received death threats stating that he will meet Sidhu Moose Wala’s fate. He got the threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The message said that if you met in Delhi, will kill you with AK 47. He wrote a letter to the police complaining about the matter,” the police said.

The police are trying to trace the number from which Raut received the threat message.

Earlier, a threat was also received by Bollywood actor Salman Khan stating that he will “end up like Sidhu Moose Wala”. The accused, Dhakad Ram who is a resident of Luni in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan, was arrested and handed over to Mumbai Police.

“In the case registered in Bandra police station of threats to kill Salman Khan via email, the Mumbai police team and Luni police team in joint action caught Dhakad Ram, a resident of Luni in Jodhpur district,” Luni Police Station Officer, Jodhpur Ishwar Chand Pareek had told ANI earlier.

Last week, Mumbai Police booked jailed gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar and Rohit Garg for allegedly sending threatening emails to actor Salman Khan’s office. Bandra Police registered a case under sections 506(2),120(b) and 34 of IPC.

Khan has been provided with Y+ category security by the Mumbai police as the actor is perceived to be under threat. The Maharashtra state government took this step after the actor received a threat letter from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang earlier. (ANI)

Mumbai: Raut Writes To Fadnavis Over Shashikant Warishe’s Case

Mumbai: Raut Writes To Fadnavis Over Shashikant Warishe’s Case

Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) MP Sanjay Raut on Saturday wrote to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis requesting him to look into the matter of the ‘murder’ of Marathi journalist Shashikant Warishe in Ratnagiri.

Warishe was killed in a road accident, hours after his report on the proposed Nanar refinery in Ratnagiri was published in newspaper.
On February 6, Shashikant Warishe was standing near a petrol pump on the Rajapur highway when the accused allegedly ran him over with his car. The vehicle reportedly dragged Warish for several meters under the wheels before coming to a halt, the police said.

“When people rushed to help, the accused fled from the spot and Varishe was lying unconscious on the road. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday morning,” Police added.

Recently, Warish carried a report describing Ambekar as a ‘criminal’ and highlighted photographs where he is seen in the same frame with the Chief Minister and Prime Minister.

Ambekar, a leader of the local land mafia, was known to threaten and harass those who resisted any land acquisition on behalf of the upcoming refinery.

Ratnagiri Superintendent of Police Dhananjay Kulkarni said that the accused was arrested and produced before the court, which sent him to police custody till February 13.

Ratnagiri Police had initially registered a culpable homicide not amounting to murder, but later the police added IPC section 302 against accused Ambarkar.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Press Club has also demanded to order for a “wide-ranging” probe into the murder.

“Though the local police have arrested the assassin Ambekar, there is a need for the Maharashtra Government to order a wide-ranging probe into the murder. This must include investigating a possible conspiracy, which may involve corporate elements, to strangle the local opposition to the refinery,” the statement by the club said.

“The Mumbai Press Club demands that the killing be probed from all angles and that Pandarinath Ambekar, as well as those who have possibly conspired with him to carry out the killing, be brought to book. The Club also demands that Warishe’s family be provided with protection during the investigation period and fair compensation for the murder of the breadwinner,” it further said. (ANI)

Raut Praises Rahul gandhi

Raut Praises RaGa Amid Savarkar Row

After differences emerged between Rahul Gandhi and Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena faction over the Congress leader’s comment on Veer Savarkar, Sanjay Raut appreciated Wayanad MP for enquiring about his health during the ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Terming it an act of “humanity”, Sanjay Raut said, “Rahul Gandhi called and checked on me yesterday despite his busy schedule amid Bharat Jodo Yatra. He said we were concerned about your well-being and said take care, we will work together again.”
Sanjay Raut appreciated Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s act and said that such gestures are rare in times of political bitterness.

“I appreciate his empathy of feeling the pain of a political colleague who has spent 110 days in jail. In d times of political bitterness, such gestures are becoming rare. Rahulji is focusing on love and compassion in his yatra and is getting massive support,” he tweeted.

Sanjay Raut said that Rahul Gandhi is one such person who stays connected as friends.

“Rahul Gandhi is one such person who stays connected as friends against ideological and political differences. I have friends in BJP as well but they were happy when I was in jail, this is politics of the Mughal era,” he said.

Earlier on Thursday, while addressing a press conference in Maharashtra on the sidelines of his ongoing ‘Bhaat Jodo Yatra’, Rahul Gandhi, reading from a letter purportedly written by Savarkar to the British, claimed the saffron ideologue betrayed leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel by signing on a letter of apology to the British before independence.

“Veer Savarkar wrote to the British saying, ‘Sir, I beg to remain your most obedient servant’, and signed on it. Savarkar helped the British. He betrayed leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Sardar Patel by signing this letter out of fear,” he had said.

Rahul’s remarks on Thursday drew a huge backlash, with a complaint being registered against Rahul at Thane Nagar police station.

Sanjay Raut had said Congress leaders in Maharashtra won’t support Rahul Gandhi’s comments on Savarkar. “Coming to Maharashtra and saying things about Savarkar won’t be accepted. Congress leaders won’t support him. Bharat Jodo Yatra is against dictatorship and issues like unemployment, and inflation and Congress is getting support,” Sanjay Raut said.

“Giving such a statement can cause strife in MVA. We believe in Veer Savarkar and we want to ask the fake Hinduvaadi that we are demanding Bharat Ratna for Veer Savarkar for 10 years. Even though BJP is in power, why are they not fulfilling our demands?” Sanjay Raut had asked.

The remark had drawn outrage from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with the party’s national spokesperson Sambit Patra claiming that the statement was consistent with the Congress’ habit of insulting national icons such as Subhas Chandra Bose and Sardar Patel. (ANI)

Sanjay Raut’s Judicial Custody Extended Till Oct 17

The judicial custody of Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut in connection with the Patra Chawl land scam case has been extended till October 17 on Monday.

Sanjay Rauut’s custody was previously extended on October 4 for 14 days (till October 10, today) by a Special Court in Mumbai.
Raut was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on August 1 in connection with alleged financial irregularities in the redevelopment of the Patra Chawl in suburban Goregaon in Mumbai.

After being in the ED’s custody initially, the Shiv Sena leader was sent to judicial custody for 14 days on August 8. On August 22, a special PMLA court extended Raut’s custody till September 5 which was further extended till September 19 and then till October 3 and 10.

ED officials raided the Shiv Sena leader’s home on July 31, and after detaining and questioning him for several hours and arrested him on August 1.

On June 28 this year, Sanjay Raut was summoned by the ED in connection with the prevention of the money laundering case pertaining to the Rupees 1,034 crore Patra Chawl land scam.

Back in August, the wife of Shiv Sena MP was also summoned by the agency in connection with the Patra Chawl land case.

The MP’s wife Varsha Raut was summoned by the central agency after the ED officials raided the Shiv Sena leader’s home and after detaining and questioning him (Sanjay Raut) for several hours, arrested him.

Raut is a close aide of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

According to sources, ED officials seized Rs 11.50 lakhs of unaccounted cash from his residence during the raids. Soon after the ED officials detained him in connection with the Patra Chawl land scam case, the Shiv Sena leader said that he “won’t be cowed down”.

Raut is being probed in connection with the re-development of Mumbai’s Patra Chawl.

In April this year, the ED had attached immovable properties worth Rs 11.15 crore, including a flat at Dadar, held by Sanjay Raut’s wife Varsha, and eight land parcels at Kihim near Alibag, jointly held by the latter with Swapna Patkar. (ANI)
