‘You Are Outstanding’: Katrina Lauds Vicky’s Work In ‘Chhaava’

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal left his wife, Katrina Kaif, awestruck with his captivating performance in his latest release, Chhaava.

Taking to Instagram, Katrina penned a heartfelt note, giving a shoutout to the entire team of Chhaava.

“What a cinematic experience and what a monumentus task to bring to life the glory of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj,@laxman.utekar tells this incredible story in the most brilliant way, im in awe, the last 40 min of the film will leave you speechless. I’ve spent all morning wanting to go and rewatch it again.I’m lost for words at the impact of this film,” she wrote.

Calling Vicky “outstanding”, Katrina added, ” @vickykaushal09 you truly are outstanding, every time you come on screen, every shot, the intensity you bring on screen, you are a chameleon the way you transform to your characters, effortless and fluid,I’m so proud of you and your talent.#DineshVijan what is there to say ……you are a true VISIONARY… you support and put your conviction in what you believe in and a carving a new trail of brilliance.The entire cast are phenomenal…. This is a film for the big screen … so proud of the whole team.”

On Thursday night, Katrina even attended the film’s screening. She and Vicky happily posed for the shutterbugs.

Vicky also garnered praise from his brother Sunny Kaushal.

“Words are not enough to describe how I feel about this film…it roars and soars. Please go and watch Chhaava,” Sunny posted.

Produced under the banner of Maddock Films, ‘Chhaava’ is a period drama that portrays the legendary story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, played by Vicky Kaushal. The film is set to depict the courageous Maratha ruler’s legendary reign, beginning with his coronation in 1681.

While speaking to the media during the film promotion in the national capital, he recalled how Katrina reacted to his physical transformation in the film.

“She was very happy and she was so happy to the point that she misses ‘Chhaava’ now. Vo har Chhaava ka poster aate hai to 4-5 likes uski taraf se aate hai and with the comment ‘Ye kahan gaya’ (Pointing towards Vicky’s character in the film).”Vicky Kaushal added, “She is eagerly waiting for ‘Mahavatar’ (his next film) because of the beard look and all.”

He shared what he ate after wrapping up the shoot, saying, “I ate gol gappe and chaat after wrapping up the shoot.”Kaushal said that preparation for the role was very demanding and he hardly used to get time for himself.

He praised Katrina for being understanding, “When you are shooting non-stop, you hardly get any time because of 12 hours of shoot, 2 hours of training before, 2 hours of action rehearsal after that. You hardly have time and by the time you are back at home, you just want to sleep. However, Katrina being part of the industry, understands my work, she was very kind and sweet.” (ANI)
