SBSP Chief Joins NDA

Founder leader of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, Om Prakash Rajbhar, on Sunday formally joined the BJP-led National Democractic Alliance (NDA) government after calling on Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the national capital on July 14.

Speaking to ANI after the saffron embrace in the run-up to the crucial Lok Sabha elections next year, Rajbhar, who led a two-member delegation to the national capital to meet the Union Home Minister, said he was grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for all taking all like-minded parties along.
“We met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on July 14 and deliberated on a range of issues. We also resolved to fight the 2024 Lok Sabha elections together. I want to thank PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and (Uttar Pradesh) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for taking us along,” he told ANI.

The SBSP chief said in another tweet, “We will attend the NDA meeting in Delhi on July 18. The post of minister is not important for me. Now there is no competition in Uttar Pradesh.”

Welcoming his party into the NDA fold, Amit Shah said Rajbhar’s entry will lend further strength to the ruling alliance at the Centre, going into next year’s Lok Sabha elections.

“The arrival of Rajbhar-ji will further strengthen the NDA in Uttar Pradesh. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the NDA is making constant efforts to ensure the well-being of the poor and the deprived sections of our society,” Amit Shah tweeted in Hindi, tagging an image of himself with the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party chief to his post.

“Met Shri @oprajbharji in Delhi (who) decided to join the NDA alliance led by Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji,” Shah said in another tweet.

Rajbhar is an MLA from Zahoorabad Assembly constituency in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh.

Earlier, on Saturday, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan said a final decision on attending the NDA meeting or formally joining the ruling alliance at the Centre ahead of next year’s Lok Sabha elections will be taken after holding consultations with all party leaders and workers.

BJP National President JP Nadda, earlier on Saturday, wrote to Hindustani Awam Morcha President Jitan Ram Manjhi inviting him to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) meeting that is scheduled to be held on July 18.

This comes weeks after former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi and made his announcement to return to the NDA.

The meeting in the national capital will be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting of the NDA is being organized to mark the completion of 9 years of the central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. (ANI)

Bengal Governor after meeting Shah

Good Will Happen In Days To Come: Bengal Gov After Meeting Shah

The darkest hour is just before dawn, good will happen in the days to come, said West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose on Monday following his meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah here in the national capital.

The meeting is significant as it was scheduled just two days after the violence in West Bengal Panchayat elections which has claimed over a dozen lives in the state.
Bose met with the Home Minister at his North Block office in the national capital. The meeting lasted for nearly 30 minutes.

“The darkest hour is just before dawn. There will be light at the end of the tunnel. The only message I could get today is -if winter comes can spring be far behind? Good will happen in the days to come,” said West Bengal Governor after his meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Bose didn’t speak about the violence in West Bengal during the Panchayat polls on Saturday. Several incidents of violence were reported during the Panchayat polls in Bengal on Saturday. Repolling took place at 697 booths across five districts of the state on Monday.

The State Election Commission on Sunday said that police have confirmed 10 deaths in poll-related violence.

There were reports of booth capturing, damage to ballot boxes and assault of presiding officers from several districts such as Murshidabad, Cooch Behar, Malda, South 24 Parganas, North Dinajpur and Nadia.

Counting of votes will start at 8 am on Juy 11. All counting centres will have a deployment of Central forces and CCTV cameras installed.

To conduct a fair, safe and impartial election for 3317 Gram Panchayats, 341 Panchayat Samitis and 20 Zila Parishads in West Bengal on Saturday, security forces from the Centre, as well as the state, were deployed on all 61,636 polling booths.

The state Election Commission had set up a total of 61,636 polling booths across West Bengal to conduct the election.

A total of 59,000 personnel of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and other State Armed Police (SAP) forces have been deployed at sensitive polling booths and the rest of the troops of CAPF and SAP along with local State Police were given the responsibility of security at the remaining polling booths.

Amid the polling on Saturday in the state, several incidents of violence were reported despite the security arrangements.

Several other incidents of ballot box and ballot paper looting and destruction were reported on Saturday from numerous polling booths in the state.

The repolling in West Bengal concluded today to choose representatives for nearly 928 seats across 22 Zilla Parishads, 9,730 Panchayat Samiti, and 63,239 Gram Panchayat seats.

The number of village Panchayat Election centres is 58,594. There are 63,239 seats at the Gram Panchayat level, 9730 at Panchayat Samiti and 928 at the Zila Parishad level.

Amit Shah in Tamil Nadu

Shah Calls Nitish ‘Paltu Babu’

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday referred to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as “Paltu babu” (one who changes decisions) and attacked him for questioning the work done by the Centre during the past nine years.

Shah said Nitish Kumar should have some regard for those with whom he has shared power and because of whom he became CM. Amit Shah arrived in Bihar’s capital Patna on Thursday for a one-day visit to Lakhisarai district.
“Paltu babu Nitish Kumar was asking what had been done (by the centre in nine years. At least have some regard for those with whom you shared power and because of whom you became the Chief Minister. A lot of work was done by PM Modi across the country in these nine years,” said Shah at a rally in Bihar’s Lakhisarai.

Praising PM Narendra Modi for the stature he has achieved in global politics, Shah said, “These nine years have been years of India’s glory. Wherever PM Modi goes, be it the US or England or France or Egypt – you hear chants of ‘Modi, Modi’. He went to the US recently, some Heads of State sought appointment with him, some others – his autograph, while some others touched his feet for blessings. This respect for PM Modi across the world is not only his or BJP’s but that of crores of Indians…”

While mentioning the PM Modi-led government’s response towards Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, Shah accused UPA governments for remaining silent on Pak-sponsored terrorism and said, “Earlier, when Pak inspired terrorists used to attack, Sonia-Manmohan’s government did not retaliate and remained silent as ‘Mouni Baba’ while sitting in Delhi. But when there were attacks in Pulwama and Uri during PM Modi’s tenure, Modi ji retailed within 10 days by doing surgical strike and air strike in Pakistan.”

“Congress, JD-U, RJD, and Mamata Banerjee used to say that if Article 370 gets abrogated there will be a blood bath in Kashmir. But I would like to tell Rahul Baba no one dared to throw a stone,” said Amit Shah.

After addressing the rally he offered prayers in the historic Ashok Dham temple and met with trustees of Mandir as part of the party’s ‘Sampark Se Samarthan’ Abhiyan. He also visited the residence of Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Vijay Kumar Sinha.

Earlier speaking to ANI regarding Amit Shah’s visit to the state, Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai said that after completion of the programs in Lakhisarai, the Home Minister will directly reach Patna’s Gandhi Maidan rally venue where he will address a public meeting on the completion of nine years of the Modi government.

Hooda Ran 3D Govt Of Darbari, Damad, Dealers In Haryana: Shah

Coming down heavily on the previous Haryana government led by Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said that the former Chief Minister of the State ran a 3D government, which means Darbari, Damad, and Dealers.

Shah was addressing a public gathering here in Sirsa on the completion of nine years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre.
“The Hooda government was a 3D government, which stands for Darbari, Damad, and Dealers,” Shah said, adding that the current Bharatiya Janata Party government led by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has abolished all three D’s.

During his address, the Union Minister also aimed at the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government at the Centre, saying that corruption of Rs 12 lakh crores was done during their regime.

“But in the last nine years [of Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government at the Centre], even our opposition cannot accuse PM Modi of a single corruption case. Nine years ago, terrorists from Pakistan intruded into India’s land and killed our soldiers, but the then Manmohan and Sonia government kept mum. After PM Modi’s government came to the Centre, Pakistan tried to do the same, and within 10 days we gave Pakistan a befitting reply with surgical strikes and air strikes,” he said.

Earlier in the day, Shah also paid obeisance at Gurudwara Shri Chilla Sahib in Sirsa district.

Besides this, he also addressed a gathering in Punjab’s Gurdaspur, where he targeted the Bhagwant Mann’s government.

During a rally held in Gurdaspur, Shah sarcastically referred to Mann as a “travel planner” and alleged that his primary responsibility was to shuttle Kejriwal to various locations.

He questioned whether Mann was fulfilling the role of a Chief Minister or that of a pilot, highlighting his extensive involvement in escorting Kejriwal.

“Punjab Chief Minister has only one job and that is to make Kejriwal tour the country. If Kejriwal wants to go to Madras, then take a plane to Delhi and take him to Chennai by plane, if Kejriwal wants to go to Kolkata, then take a plane to Delhi and take him to Kolkata. Sometimes I don’t even know whether he is the Chief Minister or a pilot,” Shah said.

As the Bharatiya Janata Party is completing its nine years at the Centre, the party has launched a Jan Sampark Abhiyan, in which several Union ministers, MPs and party leaders are holding programmes across the country including public meetings and meeting with intellectuals.

The BJP is telling people about the work done by the Modi government for various sections under PM Modi’s vision of ‘Sabka, Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’.

Narendra Modi was sworn in as Prime Minister on May 26, 2014, in the first term and on May 30, 2019, in the second term. (ANI)

Vizag Is Den Of Anti-Social Elements Under Jagan: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday came out heavily against the Jagan Mohan Reddy-led Andhra Pradesh government alleging that the money sent by Centre to the state was “looted” by the cadre of YSRCP.

He also urged the people of the state to send more than 20 MPs in the Lok Sabha in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

Addressing a public meeting in Vishakhapatnam, organised to mark the completion of 9 years of the BJP-led central government under PM Modi, the Union Home Minister said, “In the last five years, PM Modi had sent 5 lakh crore for Andhra Pradesh. But did the state got developed? Where did that money go? It went to the corrupt cadre of CM Jagan.”

Shah further alleged that the state has become a “den of anti-social elements” under the YSRCP rule.

“This Vizag has become a den of anti-social elements under the rule of Jagan Mohan Reddy. The people from the ruling party are involved in many anti-social activities. The ruling party is involved in all kinds of scams, be it land scam, mining scam and even supply of illegal pharmaceutical drugs,” he said.

Shah added, “CM Jagan has stopped so low that he is putting his photos on rice meant for the poor. It is PM Modi who has been providing rice to AP’s poor. The government is claiming to be pro-farmer. However, Andhra Pradesh ranks number three in the suicides of farmers. Jagan Mohan Reddy should be ashamed of this”.

He further urged the people of Andhra Pradesh to elect more than 20 BJP MPs from the state.

“PM Modi has initiated the construction of a grand Vizag railway station at a cost of Rs 450 crores. The operation of Kurnool airport has also started. We want that in 2024, Modi Ji should become Prime minister again with the support of more than 20 BJP MPs from Andhra Pradesh,” Shah said. (ANI)
