If Eid Al Fitr 2023 falls on Friday, April 21, the Eid and Friday prayers will be performed separately, according to a statement issued by the Fatwa Council of the United Arab Emirates.

“The issue of performing Friday prayer if Eid Al Fitr falls on Friday is a controversial matter among Muslim scholars, however, the Council rules that each sermon is to be held separately on its time as per its sunnah,” the Council said in a statement on Friday.
While taking this fatwa, the Council invokes verses from the holy Quran as well as the sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad.

It noted that his ruling was approved by the majority of Muslim scholars and leading Islamic schools. (ANI/WAM)

She will be next seen in the upcoming film ‘Fateh’ opposite actor Sonu Sood.

Helmed by Vaibhav Mishra, ‘Fateh’ is a cyber-crime. Sonu and Jacqueline have participated in various workshops, and are expected to be coached by ethical hackers on the sets while filming as well.

At least 8 people have been killed in a Russian missile strike on Friday that hit a residential area in the eastern Ukrainian city of Sloviansk, Al Jazeera reported citing authorities.

Quoting the governor of the Donetsk region Pavlo Kyrylenko, Al Jazeera reported that seven Russian S-300 missiles had been fired at Sloviansk, west of the city Bakhmut, the site of the heaviest fighting on the Ukrainian front line.
At this time, there have been 21 injuries and eight fatalities at all sites, according to Kyrylenko.

After being rescued from the rubble, a youngster died in an ambulance, according to Ukrainian police on Twitter.

The assault happened following Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Friday signature on a bill that will make it simpler to enlist civilians in the military and prevent them from fleeing the country if called up, reported Al Jazeera.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman here on Saturday said climate change is now “hitting us in everyday life” from different angles.

“Climate is now hitting us from various different angles, hitting us in everyday life,” Sitharaman said during a panel discussion at a World Bank-organised event on “Making it Personal: How Behavioral Change Can Tackle Climate Change”.
The Union Finance Minister on being asked how India implements the LiFE agenda, said, through “repeated persuasion, repeated speaking about and speaking about issues which you think are commonplace, but repeated speaking by people who hold positions, by people who are responsible, by people who can really catch eyeballs.”

“That’s where and that is why I think most advertising campaigns for very mundane things catch hold of top icons to support the idea,” Sitharaman said.

Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Lifestyle for Environment (LiFE) initiative aims to encourage the adoption of sustainable lifestyles in India and internationally to tackle the challenges of environmental degradation and climate change.

LiFE initiative plans to leverage the strength of social networks to influence social norms surrounding climate. It plans to create and nurture a global network of individuals, namely ‘Pro-Planet People’ (P3), who will have a shared commitment to adopt and promote environmentally friendly lifestyles.

The Finance Minister said: “You need to have more people talking about it, more influential people talking about it.”

Sitharaman on Friday also spoke at length on DPI (Digital Public Infrastructure), underlining how India, during the last couple of years, has seen its contribution to targeted quick, efficient and inclusive service delivery through innovative methods.

Speaking as a Keynote Speaker at “India’s Digital Public Infrastructure – Stacking Up the Benefits”, organised by IMF on how public and private sectors can work together on DPI in Washington, Sitharaman said that because of the numerous macroeconomic and pandemic-related difficulties in the present times, examples accessible demonstrate the DPI’s potential to benefit both the public and private sectors.

“As we are dealing with multiple challenges in macroeconomics and pandemic-related ones. available instances show that the potential of DPI to contribute to both public and private sectors is both enormous and can transform the development trajectory of the country even under difficult times. In India, during the last couple of years, we have seen how DPI (Digital Public Infrastructure) can contribute to targeted quick and efficient and inclusive service delivery through innovative methods,” the Union Finance Minister said during her keynote address. Twelve people were killed and over 25 persons sustained injuries after a bus fell into a ditch in the Khopoli area of Raigad in the early hours of Saturday Maharashtra police said.

A rescue operation is underway, he added.
According to Raigad Superintendent of Police (SP) “There were 40 to 45 people in the bus, out of which, seven people have died while more than 25 people are injured, the rescue is still underway, a crane has been called to pull out the bus.”

Visuals from the site show the bus falling into a ditch, and window and the roof of the ill-fated vehicle was completely damaged in the accident.

Rescue personnel were seen taking the survivors of the accident to safety with the help of ropes.

Passengers of the bus belonged to an organization from Goregaon area who had gone to Pune for an event and were on a return trip.

Meanwhile, seven people were killed and 10 others sustained injuries after being allegedly run over by a truck in the Garhshankar area of the Hoshiarpur district of Punjab.Hoshiarpur on Friday. (ANI)

After his never-seen-before avatar as Shaibani Khan in the period web series ‘The Empire’, actor Dino Morea is all set to make his Telugu debut with Surender Reddy’s spy thriller ‘Agent’ again he will be seen as an antagonist.

Taking to Instagram, Dino dropped a first-look poster along with a caption, “A G E N T.”

In the poster, he aced the killer look with long braided hair and a heavy beard. He is seen carrying a rifle.

The poster showcased not only Dino’s look but also the release date.

The film is slated to release on April 28, 2023.

As soon as the poster was uploaded, the actor fans and industry friends chimed in the comment section.

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap who is all set with his new project ‘Kennedy’ on Friday unveiled the first look poster of the lead actors- Rahul Bhatt and Sunny Leone.

Taking to Instagram, Anurag treated fans with first-look posters.

The first look poster features Rahut in an intense look with minimal red lighting falling on his arms and illuminating his face. Carrying a pistol in his hand.

Sunny Leone, on the other hand, looks regal in her retro avatar, exuding grace in a saree with a printed shrug and a pair of classy shades.

Sharing the posters, he wrote, “Meet Kennedy and Charlie @itsrahulbhat @sunnyleone @zeestudiosofficial @goodbadfilmsofficial.”

Coming from the house of Zee Studios and Good Bad Films, ‘Kennedy’ is essentially a police noir film, by Anurag Kashyap. The film revolves around an insomniac ex-cop, long thought to be dead, but still operating for the corrupt system, and looking for redemption. The film stars Rahul Bhat and Sunny Leone in the lead roles and has been selected for a Midnight Screening at Cannes Film Festival 2023.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath chaired a review meeting of the cyber wing of the State Police and directed to prepare a blueprint to fill the vacant posts of the wing.

Along with this, the Cybercrime Department is all set to get its own administrative building.
After having its own administrative building, cases related to cybercrime and their investigation proceedings will be better monitored.

In the recently held meeting with officials of the cyber wing, the Chief Minister was informed that in the year 2020, 11770 cases of cybercrime were registered, while in the year 2022, about 7,000 cases were registered.

In the year 2023, till March only 1500 cases have been registered. On this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that under the zero-tolerance policy, the department should prepare a blueprint of the resources needed to curb cyber crime up to 100 per cent, so that the action can be expedited.

“In such a situation, work will be done to fulfil the requirements such as having an administrative building to curb cybercrime. Along with this, vacant posts will be filled and work will be done for vehicles, state-of-the-art equipment related to cybercrime, an advanced cyber forensic lab at the headquarters level, an introductory cyber forensic lab at regional cyber crime stations, and the establishment of cyber crime stations in each district,” CM directed.

CM Yogi also instructed the officers to prepare all the details and hand them over to the government. He assured the department that soon all their needs would be met.

In the review meeting, officials informed CM Yogi that at present about 373 posts are vacant in the wing, ranging from Additional Superintendent of Police to Computer Operator.

It was informed in the meeting that 3 posts of Additional Superintendent of Police, 7 posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police, 75 posts of Inspector, 75 posts of Sub-Inspector, 23 posts of head constable, 128 posts of constable, 23 posts of constable driver, 7 posts of follower and 32 posts of computer operator are vacant in the department.

On this, CM Yogi has instructed the officials to prepare details for all the posts and hand them over to the government as soon as possible so that the recruitment process for these posts can be started. (ANI)
