Businessman Raj Kundra penned a note on Instagram requesting media personnel not to drag his wife and actor Shilpa Shetty’s name amid the alleged Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids at his house.

He wrote, “To whom it may concern, While the media seems to have a flair for drama, let’s set the record straight: I’m fully complying with the ongoing investigation that has been unfolding for the last four years. As for the claims of ‘associates’, ‘pornography’ and ‘money laundering’, let’s just say that no amount of sensationalism will cloud the truth, in the end, justice will prevail.”

“It’s unacceptable to repeatedly drag my wife’s name into unrelated matters. Please respect the boundaries,” he added.

The ED’s investigation is linked to allegations surrounding the distribution of adult films.

Earlier, Shilpa’s lawyer issued a statement, saying she has “nothing to do with any offence.”

In a statement, advocate Prashant Patil called the reports “misleading.”

“There have been reports in the media saying that my client Mrs Shilpa Shetty Kundra has been raided by the Enforcement Directorate. These reports are not true and are misleading. As per my instructions, there is no Enforcement Directorate raid on Mrs Shilpa Shetty Kundra as she has nothing to do with any offence of whatsoever nature,” the statement read.

Patil also mentioned the case in question is an ongoing probe regarding Raj Kundra, and that he has been cooperating with the authorities.”

The lawyer also requested media personnel to refrain from using pictures and videos of Shilpa while mentioning the case in the reports.

Strict cognisance shall be taken against irresponsible journalism wherein the pictures or videos of Mrs Shilpa Shetty Kundra are shared on this matter,” the statement concluded. (ANI)

January 2025 will witness newbies Rasha Thadani, daughter of Raveena Tandon, and Aaman Devgn, nephew of Ajay Devgn, marking their debut in the Indian film industry with the much-anticipated film ‘Azaad’.

Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, ‘Azaad’ is scheduled to be released on January 17, 2025. The film also features Ajay in a pivotal role.

Sharing the release date, Ajay Devgn took to Instagram, unveiling a new poster of the film that showcases the character looks of both Rasha and Aaman.

“Iss kahaani ka dil ek yodha hai, aur dhadkan – #Azaad! Witness the adventure on big screens on 17th January 2025,” he wrote.

Fans chimed in the comment section and wished Rasha and Aaman luck over their Bollywood debut.

“Good luck to Rasha and Aaman,” a social media user wrote.

“All support to the film,” another one commented.

Set in pre-independence India, ‘Azaad’ features the ‘Singham’ actor as a skilled horse rider who has a deep connection with his horse. In a dramatic turn of events, Ajay faces off against the harsh English armies and, during the chaos, his beloved horse goes missing. The responsibility of finding the lost horse falls on Aaman Devgn’s character.

Speaking to ANI, Ajay praised Aaman’s dedication to the film, saying, “I have a significant role in his film as well. The trailer has been released, and people are liking it. Fingers crossed. He is a very hardworking boy.”

The film is produced by industry stalwarts Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor, promising to be an exciting adventure that blends fresh talent with seasoned performances. (ANI)

Amid the suspense over the declaration of the Chief Minister face in Maharashtra, BJP state President Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Saturday announced that the oath-taking ceremony of the Mahayuti government will be held on December 5.

The swearing-in ceremony will be held at around 5 pm on December 5 at Azad Maidan in Mumbai. He added that the event will be conducted in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a social media post on X, Bawankule wrote, “Oath-taking ceremony of the Maha-Yuti Government in Maharashtra. It will be held in the presence of the pride of the world, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 5 PM at Azad Maidan, Mumbai.”

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Shirsat stated that the caretaker Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde will make a significant decision by Sunday.

When asked about the allotment of ministries to allies, Shirsat stated that everything would be clarified by Monday evening.

“According to me, whenever Eknath Shinde thinks that he needs some time to think he goes to his native village. By tomorrow evening, he will take a big decision. It can be anything, a political decision…. Everything will be cleared by Monday evening… The oath-taking ceremony should be held before the 5th of December as we have preparations in this manner…” Shirsat told ANI.

Eknath Shinde had travelled to his native village in Satara district on Friday.

Earlier, on Thursday night, Maharashtra caretaker CM Eknath Shinde, along with Devendra Fadnavis, NCP chief Ajit Pawar and other Mahayuti leaders met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda in the national capital.

The Maharashtra Assembly election results were declared on November 23, with BJP-led Mahayuti alliance storming back to power with a landslide majority. The ruling alliance, however, is yet to finalise its Chief Minister face.

The BJP emerged as the largest party with 132 seats in the 280-member Maharashtra Assembly, while its allies–the Shiv Sena, led by Eknath Shinde, and the NCP, led by Ajit Pawar–won 57 and 41 seats, respectively. (ANI)

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chief Arvind Kejriwal, along with Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, visited the family of a man who was stabbed to death in their house in the Panchsheel Park area on Saturday.

Speaking to the media, Kejriwal stated that the victim’s family is in deep shock as the motive behind the incident remains unclear.

“Senior citizens across Delhi are in distress, and businessmen are receiving extortion calls. Shootouts are happening in the city. Crime is rampant in Delhi. I want to ask Amit Shah–when will you take action against this? Since he became Home Minister, the situation in Delhi has gone from bad to worse,” the AAP chief said.

Saurabh Bharadwaj, who accompanied Kejriwal during the visit, highlighted the gruesome nature of the crime, stating that the victim had been stabbed 22 times.

“One of the posh areas of South Delhi, Panchsheel Park, witnessed a brutal murder in which a man was stabbed 22 times in his own home. This incident has created an atmosphere of terror in the entire locality. A few days ago, a gym owner in the Greater Kailash area was shot dead. Today, Arvind Kejriwal met with the affected families, who are deeply shaken. Home Minister Amit Shah needs to take strict measures, and urgent steps are required to address the justice system,” Bharadwaj said.

The 64-year-old man was found dead in his Panchsheel Park home on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party MPs staged a protest on Friday within the Parliament premises, alleging a worsening law and order situation in the national capital.

The protest was led by AAP leaders Sanjay Singh, Raghav Chadha, Sandeep Pathak, and other party members.

Separately, on Thursday, an explosion was reported in Delhi’s Prashant Vihar area. Fire tenders were rushed to the site, and teams from the National Security Guard (NSG), Delhi Police Crime Branch, Special Cell, and Bomb Disposal Squad also arrived. A high alert was sounded across the national capital following the blast. (ANI)

Union Finance and Corporate Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday encouraged women to come out and take advantage of the Union Government’s programs.

Addressing a gathering during her Credit Outreach Program in Madhubani today, she said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been putting emphasis on creating ‘Lakhpati Didis’ in every village, and banks are giving support to make the initiative successful.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji says that there should be Lakhpati Didi in every village of the country. For that, whatever work has to be done by the banks, they are doing it. Financial assistance and training are being given to women through every self-help group (SHG). Due to our training, women have been able to earn a lot. I request you all to come forward and participate in schemes which are being brought to you by the banks,” she said, addressing the gathering in Hindi.

Sitharaman on Friday handed over sanction letters from banks to beneficiaries under various Central Government schemes during the Credit Outreach Programme in Madhubani, Bihar.

Loans worth Rs 1,121 crore were disbursed during the credit outreach to more than 50,000 beneficiaries, Nirmala Sitharaman’s office said in a post on social media X.

The schemes under which the sanction letters have been issued include PM MUDRA, PMEGP, Kisan Credit Card (Crop), KCC (Animal Husbandry & Fisheries), Stand Up India, PM-SVANidhi, PM Vishwakarma, Retail, MSMEs, SHGs, Agricultural Loans, etc., as per the post.

The Union Finance Minister, during the Credit Outreach Programme, distributed copies of the Constitution of India in Maithili and Sanskrit languages–which were released recently on Samvidhan Diwas–to various people during the Credit Outreach Programme in Madhubani, Bihar.

Sitharaman also visited the stalls and interacted with the stall owners, who have benefited from various schemes of the central and state governments during the program.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and Member of Parliament Sanjay Kumar Jha participated in the event.

On Friday, Sitharaman chaired a credit outreach program in Darbhanga, Bihar. During the program, loans worth Rs 1,388 crore were distributed to 49,137 beneficiaries by various banks, according to an official statement from the Ministry of Finance.

Sitharaman, along with other dignitaries, visited around 25 stalls showcasing various local products and handicrafts created by entrepreneurs financed by banks and NABARD. (ANI)

Producer Krishan Kumar’s wife Tanya Singh has alleged that the tragic loss of her daughter, Tishaa Kumar who passed away at the age of 20 due to “wrong diagnosis”.

Months after her death, Tanya shared an emotional post on Instagram and revealed that Tishaa did not die of cancer, as many believed.

In her post, Tanya stated that her daughter’s condition was a result of a medical misdiagnosis and not cancer. She also criticised what she called “medical trap” and shared her belief in the role of karmic injustices in the ordeal.

“The truth is that my daughter did not have ‘cancer’ to begin with. She had a vaccine at age 15-and-a-half, which possibly triggered an autoimmune situation, which was wrongly diagnosed. We were already sucked into the ‘medical trap’ before all this information found us,” read a part of her post.

“Lymph nodes are the body’s defence guards & they can also swell due to emotional trauma, etc, or due to a previous infection not treated fully,” it further read.

“No matter the business of medical (mis)diagnosis &(mal)practices ~ no matter if people out there don’t believe in ‘evil eye, dark magic, nazar,etc’ ~it’s irrelevant to the Truth, what anyone else thinks, coz no one else knows what you know & in time, the truth has its way of revealing itself & it shall,” she wrote.

Tishaa passed away in July this year. Tishaa Kumar’s most recent public appearance was on November 30, 2023, at the premiere of Ranbir Kapoor’s film ‘Animal’. (ANI)

Pasupu Danchadam is a traditional Telugu pre-wedding ceremony that marks the beginning of wedding festivities.Pasupu means turmeric and danchadam signifies crushing. The phrase roughly translates to “crushing wheat, stone, and turmeric together.”

In August, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita got engaged at a private ceremony in Hyderabad in the presence of the couple’s families and friends. Taking to Instagram Story, Samantha penned an emotional note.

On a black background, the Citadel star wrote, “Until we meet again, Dad”.

Her post was accompanied by a broken heart emoji.

Speaking to ANI, a member from Samantha’s team confirmed the news.

The spokesperson also requested fans and members of the media to give her and her family some privacy.

The exact cause of his death is yet to be known.

The heartwrenching news comes at a time when a time when Samantha is basking in the success of her Prime Video show ‘Citadel’, which also stars Varun Dhawan.
