‘India’s Got Latent’ Row: FIR Registered Against All Individuals Linked To The Show

After posting alleged controversial content, Samay Raina’s YouTube show ‘India’s Got Latent’ has been under the radar of the Maharashtra Cyber Cell.

As per the latest development, an FIR has been filed against all individuals associated with the ‘India’s Got Latent’ show following Ranveer Allahbadia’s offensive remarks in a recent episode that attracted widespread trolling and backlash.

Yashasvi Yadav, Inspector General, Maharashtra Cyber Cell, told ANI, “FIR has been registered against all members who played roles in all episodes of the show. Authorities had ordered the removal of all videos under investigation and mandated the deactivation of the show’s account until the inquiry concludes. Cyber officials initially took down the first controversial video and later directed comedian Samay Raina to remove all content related to the case.”

A total of 42 individuals, including artists, producers, and influencers, have been summoned for questioning in connection with the matter so far, according to Yadav.

Among those accused at this stage are Samay Raina, Apoorva Mukhija, and Ranveer Allahbadia. Statements have already been recorded from key figures, including Devesh Dixit, Raghu Ram.

On Monday, the Maharashtra Cyber unit summoned Allahbadia to record his statement on February 24 in connection with the obscene remarks made during the India Got Latent show.

India’s Got Latent is a roast show hosted by comic Samay Raina. Celebrities who have attended the show as guests include actor Rakhi Sawant, comic Bharti Singh, influencer Uorfi Javed and former Roadies anchor Raghu Ram.

The Raina hosted show ‘India’s Got Latent’ got embroiled in controversy over comments made by podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia.

Following a massive backlash, a formal complaint was filed against Ranveer Allahbadia, social media influencer Apoorva Makhija, comedian Samay Raina, and the organizers of ‘India’s Got Latent.

‘Samay later took to his Instagram Stories to share a statement, stating that he had removed all videos of the show from his channel and was “fully cooperating” with the authorities. He also added that his only intention was to entertain people.

“Everything that has been happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you,” Samay wrote on his Instagram Story.

After the backlash, Ranveer also offered an apology and said he “shouldn’t have said what he said”.

In a video shared on his X account, he acknowledged that his comments were inappropriate and insensitive.

He admitted that the remark was not only inappropriate but also lacked humour. Allahbadia also said that comedy was not his forte, expressing regret over his lapse in judgment.

“My comment wasn’t just inappropriate, it wasn’t even funny. Comedy is not my forte, I am just here to say sorry,” Allahbadia said.

He also addressed concerns about his influence on younger audiences, promising to use his platform more responsibly in the future. “Family is the last thing that I would ever disrespect,” he added. (ANI)

NCW Sets New Hearing Dates For Samay, Ranveer

The National Commission for Women (NCW) has issued a new hearing date for Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Chanchlani and others after they failed to appear before the commission in person in connection to the ongoing ‘India’s Got Latent’ show controversy.

The NCW said that many of those summoned cited concerns about their personal safety, prior foreign travel commitments, and other logistical challenges as reasons for their absence on February 17. The Commission said it has considered the reasons and has rescheduled the hearing to allow those individuals to comply with the summons.

The Commission said that Ranveer Allahbadia had informed it that he is receiving death threats and requested a new hearing date after three weeks. The Commission has accepted his request and rescheduled the hearing for March 6.

Apoorva Mukhija has communicated that she fears for her safety and can only attend the hearing virtually. Her lawyer, in an email said that Mukhija will attend in person once the situation stabilizes. The Commission has accepted her request and rescheduled the hearing for March 6.

Samay Raina, currently in the US for a pre-planned tour, assured the Commission that he will make himself available for a hearing upon returning to India. The Commission has accepted his request and rescheduled the hearing for March 11.

The Commission said it has accepted the request of Jaspreet Singh who said he is on tour in Paris and will return to India by March 10, 2025, at which point he will cooperate with the Commission’s inquiry. The NCW has rescheduled the hearing for March 11.

Ashish Chanchlani did not attend the hearing in person; instead, his advocate appeared on his behalf and stated that Ashish was unwell. The Commission has accepted his request and rescheduled the hearing for March 6.

Tushar Poojari, the producer of “India’s Got Talent,” and Saurabh Bothra have failed to respond to the Commission’s notice. NCW strongly condemned their lack of seriousness and issued a resummon for them for March 6, 2025.

Balraj Ghai informed the Commission that he is outside India and will respond once he returns. The Commission has accepted his request and rescheduled the hearing for March 11, 2025.

In the resummon, the National Commission for Women instructed the accused individuals to cooperate with the proceedings and appear as instructed.

The Raina-hosted show ‘India’s Got Latent’ became embroiled in controversy over comments made by podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia. During the show, he asked a contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents… or join in once and stop it forever?”

Following this, the National Commission for Women summoned Youtuber Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina and others on February 17 at the NCW office in New Delhi.

NCW said in a release that the Commission has taken serious note of the vulgar and offensive remarks made by content creators such as Ranveer Allahabadia, Samay Raina, Apoorva Makhija, Jaspreet Singh, and Ashish Chanchlani, as well as the show’s producers, Tushar Poojari and Saurabh Bothra.

These comments, which have sparked widespread public outrage, violate the dignity and respect owed to every individual, particularly in a society that upholds equality and mutual respect. In light of this concern, under the instructions of NCW Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar, a hearing has been scheduled to address the controversial remark made by the content creators on India’s Got Latent, NCW added.

In addition to NCW condemnations, a formal complaint has been filed with the Mumbai Commissioner and the Maharashtra Women’s Commission.

The complaint alleges that the show used abusive language and made obscene remarks about women in an attempt to gain popularity and financial benefit through online broadcasts.

The complainant has called for strict action against the individuals involved in the show, especially concerning the remarks made by Allahbadia and Raina. (ANI)

China Plays Its Trump Card

As newly installed President Donald Trump pursues his personal agenda in the White House, Chairman Xi Jinping and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) elites must be rubbing their hands with glee. Trump and his senior officials are alarming or snubbing one country after another, thus providing China multiple opportunities to advance its own authoritarian cause.

With regularity, the almost buffoonish actions of Trump are lowering respect for the USA around the world. Whether it is threats to seize control of the Panama Canal or Greenland, Trump is making a mockery of the rule of law. In language reminiscent of China’s leaders, the American second-term president has not ruled out the use of force to “retake” the Panama Canal.

Yet that is exactly what tsarist Vladimir Putin did in Ukraine, and what Xi is threatening to do to Taiwan. Both claim foreign territory as their own, and they deem conquest necessary to secure their national security interests. If it is okay for Trump to talk like this, then how can the world criticize Putin and Xi for similar ambitions? This is the quandary that Trump is creating for himself.

One of Trump’s first tasks was to suspend US Agency for International Development (USAID) funding for 90 days, as he moves it under the Department of State and shrinks its workforce. The USA funds 40 per cent of global foreign aid, so curbing its finances will badly disrupt humanitarian aid worldwide. Although couched in the language of saving money and demanding accountability, the USA is proving an unreliable partner and is giving China a golden opportunity to step up and expand its influence.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, acting director of USAID, said, “These are taxpayer dollars, and we owe the American people assurances that every dollar we are spending abroad is being spent on something that furthers our national interest.”

Whilst that may be true, knee-jerk and short-term actions may boomerang back against American national interests in ways still unforeseen.

Rubio added, “This [is] not about ending foreign aid. It’s about structuring it in a way that furthers the national interest of the United States.” However, others in Trump’s administration have exhibited a wholly different sentiment. Elon Musk, the billionaire head of the Department of Government Efficiency, described USAID as “a criminal organization” and decreed it was time “for it to die”.

Even though China’s economy is struggling, Trump is handing China global influence on a silver platter. As the USA withdraws, China can renew or rethink its soft-power efforts and market itself as a responsible global power. This is already happening.

When mine-clearing operations in Cambodia were suspended after Trump pulled the plug on USAID, China stepped in with offers of assistance. Interestingly, USAID was established by President John F Kennedy in 1961, its primary aim being to counter Soviet influence in vulnerable areas of the world. In 2023, USAID gave assistance worth USD 64 billion.

Michael Schiffer, a former USAID official under the Joe Biden administration, told Associated Press: “We’ll be sitting on the sidelines, and then in a couple of years we’ll have a conversation about how we’re shocked that the PRC has positioned itself as the partner of choice in Latin America, Africa and Asia.”

China’s equivalent of USAID is the China International Development Cooperation Agency (China Aid). It is nowhere as large as USAID, as China’s model focuses on giving loans and developing infrastructure under Xi’s much-vaunted Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). However, as finances have tightened since the COVID-19 pandemic, the BRI has been whittled back.

It is difficult to quantify Chinese aid, but William & Mary’s Global Research Institute estimated that, from 2000-21, China provided USD 1.34 trillion in loans to developing nations, mainly through the BRI. To give an illustration of the different Chinese and American approaches, the USA might train doctors whereas China would prefer to build a hospital. China’s approach is much more transactional rather than humanitarian, for Beijing seeks to reap a financial gain from its foreign assistance.

Nor is China interested in improving local governance in trouble spots around the world, something that USAID prioritizes in war-torn or insurgency-plagued areas.

Beijing is naturally not keen to advance democracy, but it would rather promote its own authoritarian style of government.

USAID even had a Countering Chinese Influence Fund, whose purpose was to “advance national security goals” and “build more resilient partners that are able to withstand pressure from the CCP and other malign actors”. USAID must have been doing something well, for it has been heavily criticized by China. Last year, China’s Foreign Ministry issued a report accusing USAID programs of prioritizing the advancement of US interests and of corruption.

Another microphone drop moment for the USA occurred at the Munich Security Conference, where Vice President JD Vance spoke. European leaders are nervous at Trump’s erratic policies and rhetoric, but Vance’s speech antagonized those fears rather than allayed them. He launched a scalding broadside against European democracies, saying their greatest threat was not China or Russia, but that which came “from within”. He immediately raised the heckles of many allies, with German Defense Minister Pistorius calling Vance’s accusations “unacceptable”.

Meanwhile, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth caused his own sensation. He told the Ukraine Defense Contact Group: “We want, like you, a sovereign and prosperous Ukraine. But we must start by recognizing that returning to Ukraine’s pre-2014 borders is an unrealistic objective. Chasing this illusionary goal will only prolong the war and cause more suffering.”

Hegseth indicated US troops would not get involved, and that Ukraine’s membership in NATO as part of a negotiated settlement is unlikely. He indicated too that the USA will scale back its support for Ukraine, and that Europe will have to take up the slack. Trump has initiated direct peace negotiations with Putin, but this is controversial for he is doing so without Ukraine’s approval or involvement. Indeed, following these US unilateral actions and Vance’s comments, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy suggested the “decades-old relationship between Europe and America is now ending”.

Zelenskyy also told meeting attendees: “We have clear intel: this summer, Russia plans to send troops to Belarus under the pretext of training exercises. That’s exactly how they staged forces before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Is this Russian force meant to attack Ukraine? Maybe. Or maybe it’s meant for you,” he warned European nations.

Moscow will welcome such conditions being proposed by Trump’s peace plan, whereas they are disastrous for Ukraine as it will lose 20 per cent of its territory and be forced to accept an unequal peace while Putin rebuilds his military. The current US position hearkens back to British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain’s efforts to ensure peace in the lead-up to World War II. Securing the Munich Agreement with Hitler in 1938, he gave away the Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia. History proved that Chamberlain made a grave error of judgement.

Trump may be doing much the same. He is throwing Ukraine under the bus in the forlorn hope that Putin will be satisfied with what he has achieved and that there will once again be peace in Europe. However, appeasement of Putin will make the world a more dangerous – not a safer – place. The USA is abandoning its key role in NATO, and both China and Russia will be wildly applauding.

Malcolm Davis, a Senior Analyst at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, commented, “I know I shouldn’t be, but I’m absolutely staggered by the willful destruction to Western security interests done this week. This will not just see Ukraine under threat from further Russian aggression, and a dramatic increase in the risk of an attack by Russia on NATO in coming years, but it sends a horrendous signal of weakness to Beijing. China will read this as a lack of US resolve to respond to any invasion or blockade of Taiwan. We’re facing the now real prospect of a new world war within this decade as a result of events this week.”

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi spoke at the same conference as Vance, and he came across as more conciliatory. He said China could play a “constructive role” in Russia-Ukraine peace talks. Although posing as a responsible global player, China is not a neutral party or peacemaker, for it has always sided with Russia and never once condemned Putin’s bloody actions.

China will have many chances to become a champion in numerous areas of the world. It already has significant influence in regions like Africa and Asia, and that can only continue as the USA withdraws into its shell. However, China’s friendship with Russia remains a stumbling block for closer ties for most of Europe. Even in the South Pacific, Beijing is making further inroads. Prime Minister Mark Brown of the Cook Islands recently traveled to Harbin to sign a comprehensive strategic partnership deal. This surprised and angered New Zealand, which provides budget support and is responsible for defending the Cook Islands.

According to the Australian-based Lowy Institute think-tank, China already has the backing of numerous nations who officially endorse Beijing’s position of full sovereignty over Taiwan, and that it is entitled to pursue all efforts to achieve unification. China has conducted a concerted campaign over the past 18 months, particularly among the so-called Global South, to gain backing for its position.

A Lowy Institute report calculated that, as of late 2024, 119 countries had endorsed China’s claim to sovereignty over Taiwan. Of these, 89 also backed China’s unification efforts. This is just another effort in China’s growing campaign to isolate Taiwan and gain wider global support for its nefarious purposes. Fearful of Western sanctions in case of open conflict against Taiwan, China can claim “legitimacy” from so many supporters around the world. This would strengthen China’s case at the United Nations, or at least dilute Western efforts to censure Beijing.

Of the 70 most pro-China countries, 97 per cent of them are from the Global South, the Lowy report outlined. They include the likes of Egypt, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka. A major coup for China occurred in September 2024 when 53 African governments jointly signed a statement in Beijing agreeing that Taiwan was Chinese territory and said that Africa “firmly supports all” China’s unification efforts. This was a serious step forward from the 2021 summit where participants said “resolving territorial and maritime disputes peacefully” was the aim.

In March 2022, some 141 out of 193 UN members backed a General Assembly resolution demanding Russia withdraw from Ukraine. With China already engendering such support worldwide for its stance on Taiwan, it appears UN censures against China would be far narrower than what Russia experienced. China, exaggeratedly claims “universal consensus” for its position, although this is a lie.

It is worrying what China is doing against Taiwan, and Beijing may start feeling more confident about getting away with an invasion without drawing US intervention. Admiral Sam Paparo, head of the US Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM), recently told the Honolulu Defense Forum that China is “on a dangerous course” and its continuous drills amount to “rehearsals for the forced unification of Taiwan to the mainland”. Paparo added that the Chinese military’s “increasingly complex multi-domain operations demonstrate clear intent and improving capability”.

The INDOPACOM chief also warned of a “triangle of troublemakers” – China, North Korea and Russia – as they coordinate all sorts of military technologies and missions. One example is apparent cooperation by Chinese and Russian merchant ships to damage or disrupt undersea fiber-optic cables. Trump now has the opportunity to become a second Chamberlain, or to pull the world back from the brink of a major conflagration. Yet, as he bullishly crashes about and treads on the toes of allies and acquaintances alike, China does not really have to do anything but just sit and watch. By patiently playing its Trump card, China just has to be ready to step in and pick up the pieces. (ANI)

Assam DGP: Probe Begins On Pak National Ali Tauqeer Sheikh

Assam Director General of Police (DGP) Harmeet Singh revealed that the CID has filed a case against Pakistani national Ali Tauqeer Sheikh under sections 48, 152, 61, 197(1) of Bharatiya Nyay Samhita (BNS) read by section 13(1) of the UAPA on February 16. The Assam DGP further stated that the case was filed after receiving an order from the cabinet.

Speaking to the media Assam DGP Harmeet Singh said, “Yesterday itself, on receiving the Cabient’s directives, CID was instructed to file a case. Today morning, CID has filed a case u/s 48, 152, 61, 197(1) of BNS read with sec 13(1) of the UAPA against Ali Tauqeer Sheikh and unknown others. The case has been registered and the investigation has begun.”

Assam DGP further stated that the CID will investigate if there are other people involved with Tauqeer into the matter or not.

DGP Harmeet Singh said, “It has been seen that till now the activities of the said Ali Tauqeer Sheikh are against national security. He has been making utterances and it seems that his activities hurt the broader spectrum of national security.”

“So, it has to be seen as to what exactly he has done which is suspected already and whether there are other people involved in the conspiracy with him, who were these others, are they within India, within Assam – so they will all be looked at. There can be not harm to India’s integrity, we have pledged this. CID will take the case forward like this”, he added.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma chaired a state cabinet meeting on February 16 and had directed the state DGP to register a FIR against said Pakistan national Ali Tauqeer Sheikh and start a probe against him.

“Following scrutiny of his (Ali Tauqeer Sheik) social media activity and information available in the public domain, it appears that Ali Sheikh has been in contact with Elizabeth Gogoi, a British national and the wife of Assam MP Gaurav Gogoi. Apart from his engagement with the Govt of Pakistan, Ali Sheikh has also founded ‘Lead Pakistan’, a non-profit organisation working in the field of climate change. Elizabeth Gogoi was an integral part of ‘Lead Pakistan’ during her time spent in Islamabad. Ali Sheikh and Elizabeth Gogoi have been a part of global climate action group, ‘The Climate and Development Knowledge Network’ which operates both in India and Pakistan. The Assam cabinet notes its concerns regarding the explicit involvement of a Pakistani-based leader and other actor of a climate action group in the matters concerning India’s internal affairs, thereby raising serious questions on its actual intended operations…Assam cabinet has directed the Assam DGP to register a case against Ali Sheikh,” he said on Sunday.

Reactng to the FIR and the investigation, Congress MP Guarav Gogoi attacked the CM on the allegations saying said that something was bothering the CM and it is natural because he is scared.

Addressing a press conference, Gogoi said that the CM kept ‘changing’ his stand every day out of fear. He stated that he is in fear about the elections and knows that he will lose his post.

“People of Assam saw the CM’s face yesterday. Look at his eyes, it was clear that something was amiss. There is something that is bothering the CM and it is natural because he is scared. He changes his stand every day out of fear…Congress’ stand is clear. If they have to investigate anything, they can. We stand firm,” Gogoi said addressing the conference. (ANI)

Govt Actively Considering Raising Deposit Insurance Limit Beyond Rs 5L

The government is actively considering raising the deposit insurance scheme limit beyond Rs 5 lakh, said the secretary at the Department of Financial Services, M Nagaraju, on Monday.

“As and when the government approves, we will notify it. This is under the consideration of the government,” the top official told reporters at a press conference in Mumbai when asked to respond to the crisis-hit New India Cooperative Bank.

The secretary reiterated that increasing the insurance deposit insurance is under active consideration.

Deposit insurance, as we know it today, was introduced in India in 1962. India was the second country in the world to introduce such a scheme, the first being the US in 1933. Banking crises and bank failures worldwide underscored the need for depositor protection.

Further, the secretary refrained from commenting on the status of the Mumbai-headquartered bank, which is in deep stress. “RBI is seized of the matter… we are not going to comment on that,” he said.

Eligible depositors are entitled to receive deposit insurance claim amounts of their deposits up to a monetary ceiling of Rs 5 lakh from the Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (DICGC) after due verification.

With effect from February 4, 2020, DICGC raised the limit of insurance cover for depositors from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.

The depositors of New India Cooperative Bank have been advised to contact bank officials for further information. Details can be accessed on the DICGC website.

On February 14, a day after it imposed several restrictions on the lender, the Reserve Bank of India superseded the Board of Directors of New India Cooperative Bank Ltd, Mumbai, for a period of 12 months.

The action was necessitated “due to certain material concerns emanating from poor governance standards observed” in the Mumbai-headquartered New India Cooperative Bank Ltd.

Customers had gathered in thousands outside Mumbai-headquartered New India Co-operative Bank Limited branches to withdraw their hard-earned savings, soon after the Reserve Bank of India imposed several restrictions on the lender. Panicky account holders converged outside the bank branches spread across Mumbai city, worried over the fate of their bank savings and lockers.

The people ANI spoke to said that bank officials have assured them access to their lockers.

On February 13, the RBI directed New India Co-operative Bank Limited, Mumbai, that it shall not, without prior written approval of the central bank, grant or renew any loans and advances, make any investment, incur any liability, including borrowing of funds and acceptance of fresh deposits, disburse or agree to disburse any payment whether in the discharge of its liabilities and obligations or otherwise, enter into any compromise or arrangement and sell, transfer or otherwise dispose of any of its properties or assets except as notified by the RBI.

Considering the cooperative bank’s present liquidity position, the RBI has directed not to allow the withdrawal of any amount from savings bank or current accounts or any other account of a depositor but is allowed to set off loans against deposits subject to RBI conditions.

Centre Trying To Impose Hindi On Us: Udhayanidhi On NEP

Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader Udhayanidhi Stalin on Monday hit out at the BJP-led Union government, which he alleged was attempting a Hindi imposition on the Southern state.

“The Union Government has not allotted funds to us in the union budget and even Tamil Nadu’s name is not there in the budget. After the cyclonic disaster happened in Tamil Nadu, we asked for funds from the central government to release funds, but they still have not allotted it; only SDRF funds were given to us. Tamil Nadu people are watching their actions and when the time comes, they will reply to them,” Stalin told ANI.

“Education was in the state list before and it is in the concurrent list now. The Union government is trying to impose Hindi and our Chief Minister will not accept it. The Union government is trying to impose Hindi on us and please don’t impose Hindi on us,” the deputy chief minister of Tamil Nadu said.

DMK leader Saravanan Annadurai also hit out at Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai for supporting Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s statement on the New Education Policy (NEP) and refused the need to study Hindi.

Speaking to ANI, Annadurai alleged that Annamalai was made the chief of Tamil Nadu BJP so that he could be a ‘puppet.’.

“Anamalai is indebted to the RSS high command, who have made him the Tamil Nadu chief… He was made the chief of TN BJP so that he could be a puppet in those hands. If he understands Tamil Nadu’s history, he will oppose the three-language formula,” Annadurai said.

“We don’t want Hindi. Why should we read Hindi? What’s the use of studying Hindi? Will it make us become a doctor…? Why should we read Hindi? So that we can understand what the Prime Minister says? We should read Hindi because we can converse with North Indian immigrants who are flocking to the state of Tamil Nadu. People here are well educated and migrating to the USA, London, European countries, Australia, China and other countries. There is absolutely no use in studying Hindi,” he added.

DMK MP Kanimozhi said, “All those in the BJP should understand the difference between taking a language as a preferred language and studying it when there is no other way and when there is a need to study it.”

“Before the BJP came to power, they were teaching German, but now they are forcing Sanskrit to be studied. What is the benefit of studying Sanskrit? Language imposition, dominance imposition, and all these are what the Union government is doing. That is why we are opposing this language imposition, Hindi imposition,” she added.

K. Annamalai on Sunday had slammed Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin for his stance against the three-language formula in education.

“Private schools where the sons, daughters or grandchildren of Tamil Nadu ministers, including the Chief Minister, study can teach trilingualism. Shouldn’t government schools where our children study teach trilingualism–Tamil, English and a third Indian language?” Annamalai said in a post on X.

The BJP leader accused the DMK government of imposing an “outdated” education policy of the 1960s on the children of Tamil Nadu.

“In private schools run by DMK across Tamil Nadu, most of them have the CBSE trilingual curriculum. Why is it a scam only for government school students? Is the Chief Minister saying that people should learn multiple languages only if they have money? It is now 2025,” Annamalai said.

“The world is developing rapidly. And what is the point of imposing your outdated policy of the 1960s on the children of Tamil Nadu?” he added.

Annamalai’s reaction came after Stalin slammed Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for saying that the DMK government has to come to terms with the Indian Constitution when reacting to the three-language formula in the New Education Policy. (ANI
