Akshay Sings ‘Gur Naal Ishq Mitha’ At Anant’s Pre-Wed Festivities

Actor Akshay Kumar not only lit the stage on fire on Day 2 of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding gala night in his style but Khiladi of Bollywood left the guests and fans awestruck with his singing.

During the extravagant pre-wedding festivities, Akshay wore an ethnic attire for the event.

Grabbing the mic, Akshay sang the Punjabi hit ‘Gur Naal Ishq Mitha’ along with his stunning dance moves.

Actor Ranveer Singh joined Akshay briefly on the floor.

The audience erupted into applause and cheers.

Even the host of the event, Mukesh Ambani gave him a warm hug after his performance.

The Saturday night also showed, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman and Aamir together after years. The trio treated fans with their electrifying and fun performance.

The videos from the gala night went viral on social media.

In a video shared by one of SRK’s fan clubs on X, Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir were seen donning kurtas pyjama set for the event.

They did the iconic hook step of each other’s famous songs.

The video showed Salman, Aamir and SRK performing ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’, the towel step from ‘Jeene Ke Hain Chaar Din’ from ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi ‘and ‘Masti Ki Pathshala’ from ‘Rang De Basanti’.

Even parents-to-be Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh grooved to the ‘Gallan Goodiyaan’ song.

Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son, Anant Ambani, is set to tie the knot with industrialist Viren Merchant’s daughter, Radhika Merchant, later this year.

Besides SRK, Salman and Aamir, several other Bollywood stars were spotted at the bash. These include Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur. Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are also attending the mega bash.

Famous sports personalities like MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, and Sachin Tendulkar arrived to attend the celebrations.

Earlier on Saturday, Ambani’s hosted a jungle-themed bash for the guests. (ANI)

Rohit Shares Akshay’s First Look From Singham Again

On the 2nd anniversary of the action thriller film ‘Sooryavanshi’ director Rohit Shetty shared the first look of actor Akshay Kumar from the film ‘Singham Again’.

Taking to Instagram, Rohit shared a post which he captioned, “In Singham Again, we are just doing what our fans want us to do! So here it is..Akshay Kumar and a helicopter! As we complete 2 years of Sooryavanshi, VEER SOORYAVANSHI joins the battle with Singham. #SinghamAgain.”

In the first look, Akshay could be seen jumping off a helicopter while holding guns.

The ‘Sooryavanshi’ actor could be seen donning all black outfits.

Akshay Mourns Demise Of Pankaj’s Father

Actor Akshay Kumar on Monday expressed sadness at the demise of his ‘OMG 2’ co-star Pankaj Tripathi’s father Pandit Banaras Tiwari.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Akshay wrote in Hindi, “Deeply saddened by the news of the demise of my friend and co-star @TripathiiPankaj ‘s father. No one can fulfil the absence of parents. May God give place to his father’s soul at his feet. Om Shanti.”

Pandit Banaras Tiwari, passed away on Monday at the age of 99.

Pankaj and his family confirmed the news.

In a statement, they said, “It’s with a heavy heart to confirm that Pankaj Tripathi’s father, Pandit Banaras Tiwari is no more. He lived a wholesome life of 99 years. His last rites will be performed today amongst his close family. Pankaj Tripathi is currently on his way to his village in Gopalganj.”

On the work front, Pankaj and Akshay have worked together in films like ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ and the recently released drama film ‘OMG 2’.

‘OMG 2’ has entered the Rs 100 crore club.

On Sunday, the film minted Rs 12.06 crore which took the film’s total India collection to Rs 113.67 crore.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared a post on Instagram and wrote, “Critical acclaim is important… But audience validation is the ultimate reward… #OMG2 puts up a SOLID SHOW in Weekend 2… To withstand a GOLIATH like #Gadar2 is a humongous achievement… [Week 2] Fri 6.03 cr, Sat 10.53 cr, Sun 12.06 cr. Akshay Greets Fans As He Shoots For His Next In Old Delhi

Actor Akshay Kumar, on Sunday, arrived in Old Delhi, to shoot for his next project.

Several videos and pictures of the ‘Khiladi’ actor surfaced on social media in which he could be seen donning a formal grey shirt and waving to his fans.

The actor is reportedly shooting for his upcoming film. He accessorized his look with black shades.

Recently, Akshay also visited Uttarakhand and Kedarnath for the shoot of his film.

In the viral videos, he was seen coming out of a building and after he came out, his fans went gaga over him. They were seen hooting and cheering out loud for him. He waved at his fans and was seen surrounded by his team of security personnel.

On the film front, Akshay will be next seen in ‘OMG- Oh My God 2’ alongside Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam. The official release date of the film is still awaited.

He also has the yet-to-be-titled Hindi remake of ‘Soorarai Pottru’ which is all set to hit the theatres on September 1. The film also stars Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles.

Apart from that, he will also be seen in the action thriller film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ alongside Tiger Shroff which is all set to hit the theatres on the occasion of Eid 2024 in his kitty. (ANI)
