Richa Drops Pics Of Her Cannes Look

A few days after the Cannes Film Festival ended, actor Richa Chadha posted photos of her Cannes red carpet look in a pink dress that husband and actor Ali Fazal gifted her.

Taking to Instagram, Richa talked about the dress she donned at the red carpet and said it was a simple, different, creatively exciting Cannes experience for her.
“I got DMs from some of you asking about my Cannes red carpet look, voila! Wore @zimmerman, @karishma.joolry for the premiere of Jessica Hausner’s ‘Club Zero’, a refreshingly neurotic film! My director Shuchi Talati offered sartorial advice, helped me out, then we walked to the Palais together! A simple, different, creatively exciting Cannes experience for me! Dress present from @alifazal9. PS : Did my own HMU in 30 minutes! There’s a pearl detail clip too, come on! Hehe. Thanks @anishagandhi3 for being, plz tell @rochelledsa to like me back,” she said in a post.

Richa looked gorgeous as she wore an ankle-length pale pink dress with white embroidered details from Zimmermann that matched a belt.

She paired it with white heels and matching earings. She opted for soft glam makeup and left her hair untied and straight.

Soon after she dropped the look, fans swamped the comment section with red hearts and fire emoticons.

A fan wrote, “Absolutely stunning as always.”

Another commented, “Finally someone elegant wearing what one can actually decipher! Looking lovely!.”

“We (me & my husband) saw you at the amazing Thai restaurant at Cannes, we were super shy and didn’t want to disturb you, @alifazal9 and others in your group, so we didn’t come up for intros/selfies (we got a thrashing for that from our family) but we waved at you guys and you guys waved back and smiled. it was such a heartwarming gesture, it made our day! Thank you so much for being so human in this crazy world!”, a social media user wrote.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Richa will be seen in Zee’s ‘Nurse Manjot’ and the third instalment of the hit comedy franchise, ‘Fukrey 3’. She will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Netflix series ‘Heeramandi’. (ANI)

Actor Ali Fazal and producer Guneet Monga along with Oscar-nominated documentary ‘All that Breathes’ director Shaunak Sen attended the Academy Nominee Luncheon in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Earlier today, Guneet, whose film ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ also earned a nomination at the Oscars this year, shared a string of photos from the luncheon on social media. And what came across as a sweet surprise was one of the photos of her, Shaunak Sen and Ali Fazal with Tom Cruise.

Guneet’s film ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ has been nominated in the ‘Documentary Short Film Category’ against ‘Haul Out,’ ‘How Do You Measure A Year?’ ‘The Martha Mitchell Effect,’ and ‘Stranger At The Gate’.

The film’s plot revolves around a family who adopts two orphan baby elephants in Tamil Nadu’s Mudumalai Tiger Reserve.

Shaunak Sen’s directorial ‘All that Breathes’ also made it to the final nominations list at the 95th edition of the Academy Awards.

All That Breathes follows siblings Mohammad Saud and Nadeem Shehzad, who have made it their lives mission to rescue and treat injured birds, especially the Black Kites. It previously won the ‘World Cinema Grand Jury Prize: Documentary’ at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, a film gala promoting independent cinema and filmmakers, and earned the Golden Eye award for the best documentary at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.

Tom Cruise starrer ‘Babylon’ also earned quite a few nominations this year.

The Academy awards are going to be held on March 13. (ANI)

Ali Fazal, Richa Thank Friends & Fans For Wedding Wishes

After celebrating his wedding festivities, actor Ali Fazal expressed gratitude to his fans, family members, and friends for sending immense love to the couple.

“We feel eternally blessed that you all came. To all our friends and those who weren’t there, thank you. We love you. You must know that. It’s been a roller coaster for us celebrating and attending to family emergencies all in one week. Such is God’s way of blessing us and keeping us humble and awarding us patience. And to take in all the love that’s pouring in. More pics to follow soon,” Ali wrote on Instagram on Friday.

He also shared a string of his and Richa Chadha’s candid images from their wedding reception in Mumbai.

Richa and Ali, who fell in love with each other on the sets of ‘Fukrey’, have been legally married for 2.5 years. They recently held sangeet, Mehendi, and wedding reception for their loved ones in Delhi, Lucknow, and Mumbai.

The duo’s Mumbai reception saw the presence of the who’s who of Bollywood including Hrithik Roshan-Saba Azad, Vicky Kaushal, Tabu, Kusha Kapila, Vishal Bhardwaj, Mallika Dua, Sayani Gupta, Mini Mathur, Manoj Bajpayee, Shweta Tripathi, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Swara Bhasker, Esha Gupta and Taapsee Pannu among others. Richa, Ali Share Audio Message Ahead Of Wedding

Just a few days ahead of their wedding, lovebirds Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal shared a sweet audio message for their fans and well-wishers.

“Two years ago, we formalized our union, and just then the pandemic hit us all. Like the rest of the nation, we too were struck by personal tragedies, one after the other. And now, as we all enjoy this window of respite, we are finally celebrating with our families and friends and are so very touched and grateful for all the blessings that are coming our way,” the two said in the clip.
The pre-wedding festivities are set to take place starting today and tomorrow in two different venues across Delhi.

Richa, who was born in Amritsar and was raised in Delhi, has a special connection to the city and has grown up there. The wedding will have all the elements that are unique to the couple, celebrating their favorite food and inspiring decor elements, amongst other things.

Speaking about the outfits, the pre-wedding functions will have Richa adorn outfits custom made by Kresha Bajaj and Rahul Mishra, and Ali will be seen in an elegant and dapper outfit by Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla and Shantanu Nikhil.

The decor for the two venues—for sangeet and cocktail—will be in mostly nature-inspired and in shades of green, reflecting the actors’ love for nature.

One of the pre-wedding venues is Richa’s friend’s home with sprawling lawns, where she will have her mehendi and sangeet. The place has a nostalgic value as it’s close to where she studied.

The duo was initially meant to be wedded in April 2020, but owing to covid restrictions and lockdowns, the wedding was positioned twice over. They first met on the sets of ‘Fukrey’ in 2012 and soon fell in love. (ANI)

Richa Confirms October Wedding With Ali Fazal

Actor Richa Chadha is super excited to start a new chapter of her life with her boyfriend Ali Fazal.

On Thursday night, Richa took to social media to confirm her October wedding with Ali in the sweetest way possible.
She tweeted an image that read, “New Life, Loading.”

Richa captioned it with a tweet, “can’t wait for October.”

As soon as Richa shared the post, fans chimed in the comment section to congratulate the couple.

“Lots of love to you both, my favourite people! Wishing you guys a life full of laughs, joys, happiness, punctuated by a sense of inner peace and fulfilment,” a social media user commented.

“Mubarak ho….can’t wait to see you both as a groom and bride,” another one wrote.

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are expected to have wedding celebrations and functions in Delhi and Mumbai, with a special party also planned in Delhi post the wedding in mid-October at the iconic Delhi Gymkhana Club.

The duo was originally meant to be wedded in April 2020, but owing to covid restrictions and lockdowns, the wedding was positioned twice over.

Before getting on the wedding preparations the couple will be soon wrapping up their on-going projects. Richa is currently working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming web series ‘Heeramandi’ which will stream exclusively on Netflix. The ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ actor was originally meant to wrap up shooting this week, but her song shoot for ‘Heeramandi’ has been delayed and will now wrap up late next week.

Ali, on the other hand, is currently working on the third season of Amazon Prime Video’s series ‘Mirzapur’ in Mumbai and Lucknow and will soon wrap up his part of the shoot. Richa will soon after fly down to Delhi on September 27, and Ali will join her shortly after, in order to complete all the prep for their wedding celebrations and functions which will start in Delhi first.
