‘It’s Special’: Ranbir On Raha’s First Holi

Holi is around the corner and actor Ranbir Kapoor has all the reasons to grin from ear to ear. After all, it is his first Holi with his daughter Raha, who was born on November 6, 2022.

“This Holi is special as it’s my and Alia’s first Holi as a married couple and also as parents. I feel totally blessed that we have such a beautiful baby girl in our life and I don’t think that there’s any bigger blessing than that,” Ranbir told ANI.
Ranbir also hinted that he might miss celebrating Holi with his wife and daughter this year as Alia is currently in Kashmir for the shoot of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’.

“Alia is in Kashmir for the ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Ki Kahani’ shoot. Raha is also with her. I miss them terribly. I can’t wait till they come back on 9th March,” Ranbir said.

This year’s Holi is special for Ranbir for another reason as well. His film ‘Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar’ is releasing on the festival of colours on March 8.

Helmed by Luv Ranjan, ‘Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar’ is a rom-com, which also stars Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role.

“I felt excited to play this ‘makkaar’ character in the film. I felt rejuvenated. I am sure this film will entertain the audience and bring smiles to their face,” Ranbir said while promoting his film in the capital. (ANI)

Actor Shakti Kapoor wished his daughter Shraddha Kapoor on her birthday in a special way.

Taking to Instagram, Shakti Kapoor dropped a video with a birthday message for his daughter.
In the video, he was heard saying “Happy birthday Shraddha” along with his friends.

Sharing the video, he wrote, “Happiest birthday my bacha. Papa.”

In the early hours of Friday, Shraddha’s brother Siddhanth Kapoor poured in love and shared sweet birthday wishes on social media.

He dropped a cute throwback picture with his sister.

Sharing the picture he wrote, “To the kindest sister in the world, To the best daughter, To the best friend, To the best niece, to the best cousin, to the best aunt to the best everything haha to a role model, To the biggest heart, to the nicest human, To the biggest giver, Always so empathetic and sensitive, Thank you for existing and being that sunshine to all that showers happiness and love. Happiest Birthday to the apple of my Eye … I love you.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shraddha will be seen romancing Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Tu Jhooti Main Makkar’.

Recently, the makers dropped a new song video titled ‘Show Me The Thumka’.

‘Show Me The Thumka’ set at a wedding scenario is a perfect wedding song of the season.

This dance number sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Shashwat Singh is composed and written by Pritam and Amitabh Bhattacharya respectively.

Besides Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor it also stars Comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi. ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makaar is helmed by Luv Ranjan.

The film marks the first on-screen collaboration between Ranbir and Shraddha and is all set to hit the theatres on March 8, 2023.

Shraddha will also be seen in ‘Chalbaaz in London’ and in producer Nikhil Dwivedi’s ‘Naagin’ trilogy. (ANI)
