Sikandar Kher, Sushmita Begin Preps For Aarya 3

One of the most popular digital series ‘Aarya’ is coming back with another season!

The show has Sushmita Sen in the lead and along with her, Sikander Kher has also kept the audience engaged with his stellar performance.
Recently, Sikanadar was snapped with director Ram Madhvani as they commenced prep for the upcoming and highly anticipated return of a brand new season of the show.

Sikandar expressed his excitement and said, “It’s wonderful to be back with this incredible team and I’m so looking forward to starting to shoot soon. We have begun workshops for the new season and from whatever I have read so far, I’m excited to take the audiences on a thrilling new ride. This is one of the most impeccably written characters I have played. Can’t wait to bring Daulat back on screens”.

The first two seasons of the show got impeccable responses from critics and viewers alike, with Sushmita Sen helming the show and Sikandar playing a pivotal lead in the front for which he earned several awards earlier this year.

‘Aarya’ marked Sushmita Sen’s comeback on-screen and her Digital debut.

Earlier, speaking about her role in Season 3, Sushmita said, “It is a new dawn for Aarya Sareen, and she is fierce. In season 3, she is going places and starting her own story free from the obstacles of her past. Reprising the role of Aarya is like slipping into old jeans but for a brand-new journey. It feels great to be back with Ram Madhvani and the Disney+ Hotstar team, can’t wait to return the love and appreciation viewers have showered on Aarya.”

The first season was even nominated for the ‘Best Drama’ series at the International Emmy Awards.

Apart from Sushmita Sen and Sikandar Kher, the series also stars Namit Das, Manish Chaudhari, and Vinod Rawat among others in pivotal roles. (ANI)

I Have Moved On, Malaika Post Divorce With Arbaaz

Bollywood diva Malaika Arora is coming up with her show ‘Moving in with Malaika’.

On Friday, she took to Instagram and dropped a new clip from the show.
In the clip, we can see Malaika speaking about her ex-husband Arbaaz Khan. She also broke down in tears while discussing about her life with her friend and filmmaker Farah Khan.

“Every decision that I made in my life has been completely worth it. I am happy,” Malaika became teary-eyed while telling this to Farah.

Farah consoled her and said, “Aww, you look beautiful even when you cry.”

At the end of the clip, Malaika could be seen standing on a stage with a mic in her hands.

“I have gone on, my ex has moved on, when the F will you all move on?” Malaika said, evoking a loud cheer from her friends.

Malaika’s close friend and actor Kareena Kapoor Khan too marked her presence in the teaser.

“We all know Malaika as a very guarded person. The fact that she is doing a reality show is super interesting. It will be amazing to see somebody as gorgeous as Malaika to kind of open up. As a friend, I think she’s rock solid, super hot, and the original supermodel,” Kareena said.

The actor further wished Malaika saying, “Malla let your guard down and go for it. Be absolutely full of guts because of No Guts, No Glory.”

‘Moving in with Malaika’ will be out on Disney+ Hotstar from 5th December 2022 onwards. (ANI)

Tisca Chopra Celebrates Success of ‘Dahan’ Web Series

Bollywood actor Tisca Chopra, on Friday, shared glimpses from the celebration of the success of her series ‘Dahan – Raakan ka Rahasya’.

Taking to Instagram, Tisca shared a video which she captioned, “Two weeks on the No: 1 spot across platforms and we had to party with the madly talented team that made #Dahan possible ..And of course, so much gratitude for giving us your time and love.”

In the video, Tisca could be seen celebrating along with her team members Saurabh Shukla, and other makers of the series.

Tisca Chopra is making the most of indoors.

Helmed by Vikranth Pawar, the series stars Tisca Chopra, Saurabh Shukla, Rajesh Tailang, Mukesh Tiwari, Ankur Nayyar, and Rohan Joshi in the lead roles.

The 9-episodes series premiered on Disney+ Hotstar and gathered massive responses from the audience.

The show touches upon society, and its beliefs while challenging its characters to face their deepest and darkest fears. It takes off when a mining expedition threatens the village fabled with a temple that legends say can unleash a deadly curse when harmed.

However, an IAS officer (played by Tisca Chopra) sets out on a mission to battle age-old superstitions that shroud the village in the face of mysterious killings and disappearances. Shot across Rajasthan’s uniquely rugged landscapes, the story spells catharsis with cursed caves, hidden treasures, and generational secrets.

Earlier, Actor Tisca Chopra, who played the role of an IAS officer, said, “What I love most about Dahan – Raakan ka Rahasya is how it captures raw fear as each character faces their own demons. Avani Raut, my character, fights personal and professional battles when she is caught in the crossfire of superstition and the supernatural and resin and practicality on the other. The show puts the character Avani Raut on a quest by drawing parallels between her external and internal fears, which all of us confront. It’s been an absolute delight to bring Dahan and Avani to the audiences. I’m extremely proud to bring this layered grey character on a prestigious platform like Disney+ Hotstar.” (ANI)
