Cong, BRS Are Two Sides Of Same Coin: Modi Hits Opposition

Alleging a four-decade-long nexus between ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Congress for covering each other’s scam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday hit back at both parties and said that both the parties are “two sides” of the “same coin.”

Addressing a public rally in Sangareddy, PM Modi said that the Modi government does not hesitate before conducting surgical strikes or airstrikes (corruption).

“Congress and BRS are two sides of the same coin. There is a nexus between both parties. They provide a cover for each other’s scam. Congress has made Telangana its new ATM. Such behaviour will not go on for long… Modi govt does not hesitate before conducting surgical strikes or airstrikes,” the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister asserted that members of ‘Parivarvadi’ parties opened bank accounts outside India to hide their black money.

“Members of ‘Parivarvadi’ parties open bank accounts outside India to hide their black money, while I help the poor to open Jan Dhan accounts and propel their growth. ‘Parivarvadis’ live in luxurious homes, while I make sure that the poor get to sleep in pucca houses. ‘Parivarvadi’ sold India’s resources to uplift their children, while I strive to convert the dreams of your children into reality… 140 crore Indians are my family,” he said.

PM Modi further said that he has deposited all the gifts in Toshakhana and it is auctioned and is being invested in the service of Mother Ganga.

“The monthly payment that I receive from the government, whenever I get a chance, I donate some of it to people. ‘Parivarvadis’ have taken expensive gifts while being in the government and have converted their black money into white through gifts, but till date, I have deposited all the gifts in Toshakhana and it is auctioned and whatever money comes, it is invested in the service of Mother Ganga,” he asserted.

The Prime Minister reiterated the “400 seats pitch” during his address to a public event and said that the slogan of ‘400 paar’ is being raised because the country has faith in “Modi’s guarantee.”

“Support us to build a Viksit Bharat. “Abki Baar, 400 Paar!” he added.

The Prime Minister asserted that the BRS and Congress lack vision for the development of Telangana. BJP is fully committed to diligently serving the people of the state.

Trinamool Congress (TMC)

TMC Considers Modi As Its Top Enemy: PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal regards him as its ‘enemy no. 1’ because “Modi does not allow them to pursue their own whims, and that’s why TMC considers Modi their primary adversary.”

The Prime Minister was addressing a public gathering in the Khunkul area of West Bengal’s Hooghly district.

“The TMC, in West Bengal, has introduced a new ‘model’ of corruption and crimes. They are encouraging corruption and crimes. Not only this, but the TMC leaders make a lot of money in exchange of extending protection to criminals. The TMC has done scams in appointment of Primary School teachers, hasn’t it?” he said.

Attacking Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, PM Modi added, “The Chief Minister sits on protests in order to shield people involved in corruption. Modi inki manmani chalne nahi de raha, isiliye Modi ko TMC apna dushman no. 1 mannti hai. (Modi does not let them continue their wilfulness, therefore they consider Modi their enemy no. 1).”

“They did scams in municipality appointments, purchasing government commodities, and providing ration to the poor. Whether it is about snatchoing lands of the poor and middle-class or smuggling of animals, the TMC has not left a single area devoid of corruption and scams,” added the PM.

The Prime Minister further said that the ruling TMC adopts every tool to stop central agencies from carrying out an investigation in the state.

“See, bundles of money are being recovered from the residences of TMC leaders, look what they have done! The government adopts every tool to stop central agencies from carrying out an investigation here. Let me ask you, should I let this loot continue? Doesn’t this money belong to you? I promise the people of West Bengal– yeh lootne walon ko lautana padega.(People who are looting will have to return it). Modi will not spare them,” said the PM.

“Neither Modi is afraid of their abuses, nor their attacks,” he added.

Sandeshkhali TMC

Country Is Seeing What TMC Has Done With Sisters Of Sandeshkhali: Modi

Taking on the Mamata Banerjee government in West Bengal over the Sandeshkhali issue ahead of Lok Sabha polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the country is enraged over the treatment of the women in Sandeshkhali by the TMC government.

The Prime Minister was addressing a public gathering in the Khunkul area of West Bengal’s Hooghly district.

“The country is seeing what TMC has done with the sisters of Sandeshkhali. The whole country is enraged. The soul of Raja Ram Mohan Roy (social reformer) must have been pained by what happened in Sandeshkhali,” he said.

Without mentioning the name of TMC leader Sheikh Shahjahan, who has been accused of sexually assaulting and land grabbing by women in Sandeshkhali, PM said, “A TMC leader crossed all limits…The BJP leaders in the state fought for the respect and dignity of the women here. Yesterday, the police had to arrest him (TMC leader Sheikh Shahjahan).”

Further attacking leaders of the INDIA bloc, PM Modi said the leaders of INDIA alliance have been remaining tight-lipped on the Sandeshkhali issue.

He criticized the indifference of INDI alliance leaders, likening them to Gandhiji’s three monkeys.

.All the tall leaders of INDI alliance were silent on the Sandeshkhali incident. INDI alliance leaders were like the three monkeys of Gandhiji…Congress chief said- ‘Arey chhoddo, Bengal mein toh yeh sab chalta rheta hai’…” he said.

PM Modi urged people to reply to the ruling party of West Bengal by vote to every pain they have suffered while asking chief minister Mamata Banerjee whether the women of Sandeshkhali hold any importance to the TMC chief.

“‘Har chot ka jawab vote se dena hai’. Today, the people of West Bengal are asking their CM ‘Didi’- is the vote of some people more important than atrocities against women in Sandeshkhali?..

The PM further stressed that it is the guarantee of the Modi government that the ones who are looting the public will have to return every penny of it.

“Should I let the loot by TMC continue?…Meri guarantee hai ki jo lootne wale hain unko lautana padega. TMC government is the big hurdle in the empowerment of poor, farmers, youth and women,” he said.

Sandeshkhali in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district had been witnessing widespread protests against Trinamool Congress (TMC) strongman Shahjahan Sheikh this month as a section of women were seeking justice against alleged atrocities committed by the TMC leader.

A large number of women in Sandeshkhali had accused Shajahan Sheikh and his close aides of “land-grab and sexual assault” under coercion.

Shahjahan was arrested by West Bengal police on Thursday morning in connection with an alleged assault on ED officers during a raid in January earlier this year.

West Bengal’s Basirhat Court remanded Trinamool Congress (TMC) Sheikh Shahjahan to 10-day police custody on Thursday. (ANI)

Modi Invokes Sharad’s Tenure As UPA Minister To Shred INDIA

Invoking Nationalist Congress Party (SCP) chief Sharad Pawar’s tenure as Union Agriculture Minister under the Congress-led UPA, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said money sanctioned by Delhi for the distressed farmers of Vidarbha was ‘looted’ midway.

Setting the campaign tone for the ruling BJP-led NDA in the state ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi launched a blistering attack on the partners in the INDIA bloc at a rally in Yavatmal, saying, “What was state of farmers when the partners in the INDI-alliance were in Delhi (under Congress-led UPA)? The Agriculture Minister at the time was from Maharashtra (Sharad Pawar). Packages were announced for the distressed farmers of Vidarbha from Delhi but the money was looted somewhere in transit. The poor, farmers and the Adivasis received little or nothing in the way of support. Today, I pressed a button and Rs 21,000 crore under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi reached the accounts of crores of farmers across the country. This is Modi’s guarantee.”

“We have outlined four biggest priorities to make India a developed country by 2047. We will focus on the poor, farmers, youth and women power in pursuit of our vision to take the country to its promised heights. If we can ensure the strength of these four key sections of our population, every community and household in the country will be strong. The work being done in Yavatmal is a reflection of this commitment of ours. Today, farmers are getting all sorts of irrigation support while the poor are getting concrete roofs over their heads. Women across village are receiving income support while public infrastrucure is being developed in line with the aspirations of the youth,” PM Modi said.

He added that Rs 3,800 crore has been transferred separately to the accounts of farmers in Maharashtra.

“Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, more than Rs 3 lakh crore has been deposited in the accounts of 11 crore farmers across the country. The farmers have received Rs 30,000 crore, of which Rs 900 crore has been wired directly to the accounts of farmers in Yavatmal.

“The work on a plan to build the world’s largest wahehouse for storing food grains has started. These warehouses will be built by cooperative societies of farmers, who will also have control over it. Small farmers will be able to derive huge benefits from this storage facility. They will no longer be under the compulsion to sell their produce at low rates,” PM Modi said.

“Before 2014, a rural distress swept the country but the INDI-alliance partners that were in power at the time were indifferent to the concerns of the people. From independence till 2014, only about 15 of 100 families in a village had piped water supply. The majority of those deprived were Dalits, poor and tribals. It was Modi who guaranteed piped water to every household from the ramparts of the Red Fort. I am happy to share with you all that in only about 4-5 years since I made the announcement, piped water has reached 75 of every 100 families. That’s why the whole country is saying that Modi’s guarantee stands for the fulfillment of all guarantees,” he added.

PM Modi claimed previous Congress-led government at the Centre put as many as 100 major irrigation projects in the country on hold for decades, adding that work on 60 of these projects has been completed and the remaining will be done soon.

“I also guaranteed that my sisters across villages will become ‘Lakhpati Didi’. I can tell you that one crore sisters have already become Lakhpati Didis. During the presentation of the budget, we announced of Lakhpati Didis would be raised to 3 crore. Today, the number of women self-help groups has gone past 10 crores. They have received assistance worth Rs 8 lakh crore from banks. Under the ‘Namo Drone Didi’ scheme, some of our sisters are being trained to become drone pilots, after which the government will give them drones through which they will provide assistance to farmers,” Prime Minister Modi said.

Claiming that tribals were ignored during the Congress years, he said, “No big plan was ever made for our Vishwakarma (skilled artisan) friends. It was Modi who launched ‘PM Vishwakarma Yojana’ worth Rs 13,000 crore for the first time. It was Modi again who thought the welfare and well-being of some of our most backward citizens and tribals. For the first time, Rs 23,000 crore under ‘PM Jaan-Mana Yojana’ was allocated for their development.”

Reinforcing his pledge to take ‘Vikas’ (development) to the far corners of the country, PM Modi added, “We have also set out on a mission to change the lives of our fellow citizens. The work we have done over the last 10 years has laid the foundation for what is to be done in the next 25 years. I have resolved to take Vikas to every corner of India. Every fibre of my being and every second of my time is dedicated to your service.” (ANI)

Various precursor missions are planned for demonstrating the Technology Preparedness Levels before carrying out the actual Human Space Flight mission. These demonstrator missions include Integrated Air Drop Test (IADT), Pad Abort Test (PAT) and Test Vehicle (TV) flights. Safety and reliability of all systems will be proven in unmanned missions preceding manned mission.

LVM3 rocket – The well proven and reliable heavy lift launcher of ISRO, is identified as the launch vehicle for Gaganyaan mission.

Human safety is of paramount importance in Gaganyaan mission. In order to ensure the same, various new technologies comprising of Engineering systems and Human centric systems are being developed and realised.

In 2023, in a stellar display of prowess, India soared to new heights with the successful soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the South Pole of the Moon and the successful launch of Aditya-L1, India’s first solar mission.

These milestones not only secured India’s standing in the global space economy but also fueled the engines for the private space sector in India.

Among other feats India now aims for setting up ‘Bharatiya Antariksha Station’ by 2035, and sending the first Indian to the Moon by 2040. (ANI)

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Tuesday the names of the four astronauts who will be part of India’s first human space flight program, Gaganyaan, slated to be launched in 2024-25.

The four chosen Indian Air Force pilots are Group Captain Prashanth Nair, Group Captain Ajit Krishnan, Group Captain Angad Pratap, and Wing Commander Shubhanshu Shukla. The four astronauts were trained at Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Russia.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a visit to Kerala, reviewed the progress of Gaganyaan mission and bestowed ‘astronaut wings’ to the astronaut-designates at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre. The Gaganyaan mission is India’s first human space flight program for which extensive preparations are underway at various ISRO centres.

“India’s success in the space sector is sowing the seeds of scientific temperament in the country’s young generation,” PM Modi said in his address at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre.

“As India is set to become the top-3 economy of the world, at the same time the country’s Gaganyaan is also going to take our space sector to a new height.”
