Raveena, Sonali, Shilpa Pose Together

Taking fans back to the 90s, Bollywood divas Raveena Tandon, Sonali Bendre and Shilpa Shetty posed together at actor Gayatri Joshi’s new home.

Taking to Instagram, Raveena shared a string of pictures from Sunday evening.

In one of the pictures, Raveena posed for a selfie with Gayatri Joshi.

The next image captured Shilpa Shetty, Sonali Bendre, Raveena and Gayatri posing together on the rooftop.

Shilpa wore an animal-printed short dress, Sonali opted for a beige top and brown pants look and Raveena on the other was seen in an all-black printed co-ord set.

Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “A fun evening ! #friendslikefamily . A beautiful home, filled with warmth, love, laughter and old friendships. Thank you for the lovely evening.”

Shilpa also dropped a group picture on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Bringing the 90s back. Congratulations @gayatrioberoi on your new casa… what a fun night!!!”

Gayatri Joshi, who was born in Nagpur, Maharashtra, began her career as a video jockey. She departed after that to go after her goal of becoming the Femina India beauty pageant winner. She represented India at Miss International 2000 after winning the Femina Miss India International title in 2000. She starred in Ashutosh Gowariker’s directorial 2004 movie ‘Swades’, which is all about an NRI NASA engineer who visits his Indian roots. The movie received positive reviews, and Gayatri Joshi was praised for her “mature” portrayal.

In 2005, she tied the knot with businessman Vikas Oberoi. She has also worked as an advertising model and appeared in a number of music videos, including Hans Raj Hans’ ‘Jhanjaria and ‘Kaghaz Ki Kashti’ by Jagjit Singh.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shilpa was last seen in the family entertainer film ‘Sukhee’ which was released in theatres on September 22.

Apart from this, Shilpa will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s OTT debut ‘Indian Police Force’, which also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi. The series will stream on the OTT platform Amazon Prime.

She will also act in ‘KD-The Devil’ as Satyavati alongside V Ravichandran, and Sanjay Dutt. The pan-India multilingual will be released in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Raveena, on the other hand, will be seen next in ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, starring Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt. She will also be seen in a forthcoming romantic-comedy film ‘Ghudchadi’ alongside Sanjay Dutt, Parth Samthan, and Khushali Kumar in the upcoming months. (ANI)

Raveena Gives Glimpses Of Her Travel Diaries

Actor Raveena Tandon treated her fans to the glimpses of her travel diaries with her daughter Rasha Thadani.

On Tuesday, the ‘KGF 2′ actor shared a string of pictures on Instagram which she captioned, “Always trippin’ together. #traveldiaries #rashaandi #adventures #ourplanet #whalewatching #goldcoast.”

In the first picture, Raveena can be seen taking a selfie with Rasha. Raveena wore a white t-shirt while her daughter chose a olive coloured shirt with blue denims.

An another picture, the mother daughter duo can be seen smilling while looking at each other.

Raveen also posted a video of Rasha dancing and enjoying the whale watching on Gold coast.

Soon after she dropped the pictures, fans flooded the comment section with red heart emoticons.

“So beautiful pic,” a fan commented.

Another fan wrote,”Raveena jaisa koy nhi.”

“The greatest mom and daughter jodi,” a user wrote.

Meanwhile, on the work front, she will be seen in a forthcoming romantic-comedy film ‘Ghudchadi’ alongside Sanjay Dutt, Parth Samthan and Khushali Kumar in the upcoming months. Apart from that, she also has ‘Patna Shukla’ in his kitty.

Her daughter Rasha, on the other hand, will make her Bollywood debut alongside Aaman Devgan in Abhishek Kapoor’s next film. The film is slated to release on February 9, 2024.

The film is not titled yet and it’s produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor.

Apart from Rasha and Aaman Devgan, other star kids who will be making their debut are prominent names like Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Palak Tiwari, Junaid Khan, Alizeh Agnihotri and Pashmina Roshan. (ANI)

Raveena: Lost Out On Movie Roles Due To Jealous B’wood Heroine

In a three-decade-long cinematic journey, Raveena Tandon has received numerous accolades for her work. But it has not been an easy ride always as she has faced struggles too.

In an exclusive interview with ANI, the ‘Mohra’ star revealed how she lost films in the nineties as a co-star’s partner was ‘insecure’.
“There was a film that was offered to me for which the original star cast was a very big hit pair and me and another person who was a hit pair. But unfortunately for me, that person who was my co-star in a couple of films, started dating one of the heroines who couldn’t stand me, who had this real competitive jealousy, rivalry with me,” she said

“So she kind of told him that if I see you talking to her or something, I am going to dump you…You can’t do more films with her. We were a hit pair. He told me whenever she is going to come on the sets, I am not going to talk to you. I asked why we are friends. I mean there is nothing, you know whom I am dating so what’s the big deal, I am dating someone else. So he was like no, no, but don’t talk to me when she is around and suddenly one day, I was told sorry you have to leave these films because he doesn’t want to work with you anymore,” she added.

Raveena said she tried to reason out with the co-star.

“I was like but why? As luck would have it that the producer to whom he went and said or recommended his girlfriend, the producer only dropped him. Said I don’t want to sign her because she doesn’t suit the role, only Raveena suits the role. Okay fine, if you don’t want Raveena for it, then I will drop you and her but I will never sign that girl,” she said.

Raveena also talked about her stepping out of films.

“So there were people who stick to their conviction also what the character suits, right? So that does happen as well. It’s okay that they didn’t ask us for the signing amount back or whatever. I haven’t kind of breached the contract, so it’s from their (side). And then there are so many times that you do it out of emotion. I remember a very popular film director came up to me and he was in love with his heroine. And he signed me opposite Sunny for some film and he came to my house and said you are like my younger sister, you are my sister. You know I am madly in love with her, I want to marry her but she will kill me and I have signed you this and that. So, please help me make my relationship work. I said no problem, I will step out of the film. And she got the role and I stepped out of the film. That film did kind of well. I have done that also so many times, helped people but nothing worked for them. So, I think, ultimately, it’s karma then.”

Raveena was recently honoured with the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award in India.

On the work front, she received a lot of appreciation for her performance in the blockbuster hit pan-India film ‘KGF- Chapter 2’.

In the coming months, she will be seen rekindling her on-screen chemistry with Sanjay Dutt after a two-year gap in the romantic-comedy ‘Ghudchadi’.

Apart from that, Raveena will also be seen in Arbaz Khan’s production ‘Patna Shukla’. (ANI)

Raveena Tandon’s Daughter To Make Bollywood Debut In 2023

Year 2023 is going to be an eventful time for a lot of young talent to make their acting debut in the Bollywood film industry.

Man star kids are set to hit the silver screen this year and one of them is none other than Raveena Tandon’s 17-year-old daughter Rasha Thadani. Rasha will be seen in Abhishek Kapoor’s next film.

As mentioned above, she is the daughter of Raveena and Anil Thadani and will make her acting debut in the action-adventure movie directed by Abhishek Kapoor. Alongside Rasha, Ajay Devgn’s nephew Aaman Devgn will be seen in the film.

Rasha, in Abhishek’s opinion, is the perfect choice to play the part because the character she would be portraying is quite unique.

Both lead actors have already begun preparing for the film. According to the director, they would have to go through a few training sessions, which they have already begun attending.

Apart from being glamorous, Rasha is also good in other extracurriculars. She holds a black belt in Taekwondo and also enjoys wildlife photography. Rasha is fond of singing and keeps sharing videos on social media.

The news has fans looking forward to a fresh face on screen!

KGF Actor Krishna G Rao No More

Veteran Kannada actor Krishna G Rao, best known for playing a visually impaired man in the KGF franchise, has passed away. He was 70.

The unfortunate news was shared on the official handle of the KGF film.
“Condolences from the Hombale film team on the passing away of Krishna G Rao, fondly known as Thatha by KGF fans. Om Shanti (sic),” a post read.

Reportedly, Krishna G Rao breathed his last at Vinayaka Hospital in Bengaluru on Wednesday. If reports are to be believed, he died due to a lung infection.

After learning about his demise, actor Raveena Tandon, who played a prominent role in ‘KGF 2’, paid her heartfelt condolences.

“Condolences to his family and the entire family of KGF, KGF Chapter 2. Om Shanti,” she wrote on Instagram Story.

Others also mourned the death of Krishna G Rao.

“RIP #KrishnaGRao ji…you were very impactful in #KGFChapter2, the song #Toofan and various other work of yours…He passed away at the age of 70 due to illness,” a social media user tweeted.

“May his soul rest in peace,” another one wrote.

After KGF, Krishna G Rao played the titular role in an upcoming Kannada film, titled Nano Narayanappa. (ANI)

Raveena Is Wildlife Goodwill Ambassador Of Maharashtra

Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon, on Thursday, was appointed as the Wildlife Goodwill Ambassador of Maharashtra.

“We have witnessed Ms. Raveena’s passion and love for wildlife and her conservation on many occasions as Wildlife Goodwill Ambassador for Maharashtra,” said Maharashtra Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar.

Tandon described it as an honour to serve as the wildlife goodwill ambassador and said, “Honoured to join hands with Maharashtra Forest Department as the Wildlife Goodwill Ambassador. The mission is to work to sustain the natural world for the benefit of people and nature. I am grateful for this platform and cannot wait to get to work with these dedicated & passionate individuals.”

Meanwhile, on the film front, Raveena was recently seen in a Pan India film ‘KGF- Chapter 2’ alongside south actor Yash and Sanjay Dutt. The ‘Dulhe Raja’ portrayed a negative character and the film was declared a blockbuster hit which collected over Rs 1000 crores at the box office worldwide.

She will be next seen in an upcoming family entertainer film ‘Ghudchadi’ alongside Sanjay Dutt, Parth Samthaan, and Kushalii Kumar in pivotal roles. The film is being directed by Binoy Gandhi and produced by T-series and Keep Dreaming pictures.

Apart from that, she was recently announced as the lead actor of Arbaaz Khan’s upcoming social drama film ‘Patna Shukla. The film also Satish Kaushik, Manav Vij, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Jatin Goswami, and Anushka Kaushik in prominent roles.

Raveena will begin shooting for the project in November 2022. (ANI)
