Ali Fazal, Richa Thank Friends & Fans For Wedding Wishes

After celebrating his wedding festivities, actor Ali Fazal expressed gratitude to his fans, family members, and friends for sending immense love to the couple.

“We feel eternally blessed that you all came. To all our friends and those who weren’t there, thank you. We love you. You must know that. It’s been a roller coaster for us celebrating and attending to family emergencies all in one week. Such is God’s way of blessing us and keeping us humble and awarding us patience. And to take in all the love that’s pouring in. More pics to follow soon,” Ali wrote on Instagram on Friday.

He also shared a string of his and Richa Chadha’s candid images from their wedding reception in Mumbai.

Richa and Ali, who fell in love with each other on the sets of ‘Fukrey’, have been legally married for 2.5 years. They recently held sangeet, Mehendi, and wedding reception for their loved ones in Delhi, Lucknow, and Mumbai.

The duo’s Mumbai reception saw the presence of the who’s who of Bollywood including Hrithik Roshan-Saba Azad, Vicky Kaushal, Tabu, Kusha Kapila, Vishal Bhardwaj, Mallika Dua, Sayani Gupta, Mini Mathur, Manoj Bajpayee, Shweta Tripathi, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Swara Bhasker, Esha Gupta and Taapsee Pannu among others. Richa, Ali Share Audio Message Ahead Of Wedding

Just a few days ahead of their wedding, lovebirds Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal shared a sweet audio message for their fans and well-wishers.

“Two years ago, we formalized our union, and just then the pandemic hit us all. Like the rest of the nation, we too were struck by personal tragedies, one after the other. And now, as we all enjoy this window of respite, we are finally celebrating with our families and friends and are so very touched and grateful for all the blessings that are coming our way,” the two said in the clip.
The pre-wedding festivities are set to take place starting today and tomorrow in two different venues across Delhi.

Richa, who was born in Amritsar and was raised in Delhi, has a special connection to the city and has grown up there. The wedding will have all the elements that are unique to the couple, celebrating their favorite food and inspiring decor elements, amongst other things.

Speaking about the outfits, the pre-wedding functions will have Richa adorn outfits custom made by Kresha Bajaj and Rahul Mishra, and Ali will be seen in an elegant and dapper outfit by Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla and Shantanu Nikhil.

The decor for the two venues—for sangeet and cocktail—will be in mostly nature-inspired and in shades of green, reflecting the actors’ love for nature.

One of the pre-wedding venues is Richa’s friend’s home with sprawling lawns, where she will have her mehendi and sangeet. The place has a nostalgic value as it’s close to where she studied.

The duo was initially meant to be wedded in April 2020, but owing to covid restrictions and lockdowns, the wedding was positioned twice over. They first met on the sets of ‘Fukrey’ in 2012 and soon fell in love. (ANI)
