Nana Lends Voice To ‘Gadar 2’

Veteran actor Nana Patekar has lent his voice to Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel-starrer upcoming period action film ‘Gadar 2’.

Taking to Instagram, trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the updates on Monday.

He wrote, “#Xclusiv… NANA PATEKAR DOES VOICEOVER FOR ‘GADAR 2’… #NanaPatekar has lent his voice for #Gadar2… #Nana’s voiceover will introduce #Gadar2 to the moviegoers at the very start of the film. It may be recalled that #OmPuri had done the voiceover for the introductory scenes of #Gadar [first part], way back in 2001.”

Nana Patekar will be giving the introduction of ‘Gadar 2’ to the moviegoers at the very start of the film.

Recently the makers released the first song ‘Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava’ from the movie.

The original song was sung by music maestros Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik, the new version of the song is recreated and rearranged by Mithoon. ‘Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava’ was originally composed by Uttam Singh and the lyrics were penned by Anand Bakshi.

The new version is a part of ‘Gadar 2’, which will hit the theatres on ‘August 11’.

Helmed by Anil Sharma, the film stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in the lead roles. Before releasing the official teaser online, the makers of the film attached the teaser with ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ which was re-released in the theatres on June 9.

The teaser of ‘Gadar 2,’ hints that the story begins right from where the story ended in ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ and the fans can also hear a sad version of the song ‘Ghar Aaja Pardesi’. The film’s portrayal of the partition of India and its impact on people’s lives struck a chord with the audience.

The epic tale of patriotism, love and sacrifice of Tara and Sakeena broke multiple records back in 2001 and now the makers are all set to entertain the audiences with the second instalment of the film.

‘Gadar 2’ will have a big Bollywood clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2’ and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’.

Meanwhile, Nana Patekar will be headlining Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s upcoming film ‘The Vaccine War’.

‘The Vaccine War’ revolves around India’s contributions to the race to produce a Covid-19 vaccine during the pandemic.

Anupam Kher and ‘Kantara’ star Sapthami Gowda are also a part of ‘The Vaccine War’. (ANI)

Vidya Starrer ‘Neeyat’ Intriguing Teaser, Posters Unveiled

Taking to Instagram, Abundantia Entertainment shared a series of posters and teasers.

While the teaser gives us a preview into the enigmatic world of the murder mystery, each of the posters paints an alluring image of the characters, raising immense anticipation for the trailer.

‘Neeyat’ features a stellar ensemble cast led by Vidya Balan and including Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Neeraj Kabi, Shahana Goswami, Amrita Puri, Dipannita Sharma, Niki Walia, Shashank Arora, Prajakta Koli and Danesh Razvi.

‘Neeyat’ is a suspense-thriller, which revolves around the story of an unlikely detective (Vidya Balan) investigating inexplicable killings at a billionaire’s party where nothing is as it seems and all suspects have a secret or two.

The movie is directed by Anu Menon who last directed Vidya Balan in the 2020 superhit ‘Shakuntala Devi’, based on the life and times of the lady known as the human-computer. Anu Menon’s recent directing credits also include multiple episodes of the internationally acclaimed series ‘Killing Eve’.

Produced by the Vikram Malhotra-led Abundantia Entertainment, that also produced Shakuntala Devi, and co-produced by Prime Video, Neeyat narrates a gripping suspense story of an unlikely detective (Vidya Balan) who investigates a mysterious murder at a billionaire’s party where nothing is what it seems and all suspects hide a secret or two.

‘Neeyat’ releases only in theatres on July 7. (ANI)

Priyanka’s ‘Citadel’ Trailer To Be Out On This Date

Taking to Instagram, actor Priyanka Chopra shared a short teaser of the series and announced the trailer release date.
“Everything you know is a lie. @citadelonprime trailer tomorrow,” she captioned the post.

The official trailer of ‘Citadel’ will be out on March 1, 2023.

Soon after the ‘Don’ actor shared the short teaser, fans flooded the comment section with red hearts and fire emoticons.

Nick Jonas commented, “Let’s go!!.”

“Was waiting for this since ages ufff finally it’s here,” a fan commented.

Another fan wrote, ” We can’t wait Queen.”

“Wow Superb Beautiful,” a user wrote.

On Monday, Citadel’s makers informed that the series will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on Friday, April 28, with two adrenaline-fueled episodes, followed by a new episode released weekly every Friday through May 26.

Recently the makers unveiled the first look of the actors from the series which received massive responses from the fans.

In Citadel, Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden play elite spies who work for an organisation called Citadel.

The American series is also getting an Indian adaptation. Raj and DK are creating the Indian version of Citadel featuring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead roles. (ANI)
