‘Jailer’ Actor G Marimuthu Passes Away Due To Cardiac Arrest

Renowned director-actor G Marimuthu passed away on Friday due to cardiac arrest at a private hospital in Chennai.

He died of cardiac arrest today around 8:30 am at a private hospital in the city.

Marimuthu collapsed while dubbing his voice for a television serial. Then, he was rushed o a private hospital in Vadapalani, where he was declared dead.

Actor’s fans, family members and friends pay tribute to him at his residence in Chennai.

He will be taken to his native place in Theni District by 6 pm today and last rites will be performed.

Marimuthu was recently seen in Rajinikanth starrer ‘Jailer’ movie.

After learning of the filmmaker’s death, the members of the film industry took to social media to pay their condolences.

Sun Pictures, which produced ‘Jailer’ took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and posted, “Condolences! Your work has been impeccable and irreplaceable. Rest in peace #Marimuthu.”

G Marimuthu began his career as a filmmaker with ‘Kannum Kannum’ in 2008. In addition to directing films, he has played a number of interesting roles in Tamil films. He collaborated with lyricist Vairamuthu in the early stages of his career. In Tamil films, he also served as an assistant director.

His memorable performance include ‘Vaali,’ ‘Jeeva,’ ‘Pariyerum Perumal,’ and ‘Jailer,’ to name a few.

He has been a part of the Tamil television series ‘Ethir Neechal’ since 2022. Marimuthu was a YouTube sensation whose opinions trend on social media platforms. (ANI)

World Health Day: Anupam Gives Out Major Fitness Motivation

Veteran actor Anupam Kher does not take his health for granted. From working out regularly to eating healthy, Kher’s fitness regime is quite inspiring. On World Health Day, the 68-year-old shared a video of him working out.

“Maine khush rehna isliye chuna kyuki ye mere swasthya ke liye achcha hai. (I choose to be happy because it is good for my health) Happy #WorldHealthDay #YearOfTheBody,” he captioned the post, garnering netizens’ attention.

“You always keep us motivated Sir with your fantastic posts,” a social media user commented.

“Sir u r the source of inspiration for everyone and especially the young generation. The way u have crafted your life with the accomplishment of every goal motivates us. Kudos sir. Huge respect,” another one wrote.

In an earlier interview with ANI, Kher got candid about his fitness journey and motivation.

“Seven years ago when I turned 60, I felt I should reinvent myself. I began by transforming myself physically, so people take my intentions to reinvent myself seriously. Hence, I started to exercise, hit the gym, do yoga, and run,” Kher said.

World Health Day is observed every year on April 7 to draw attention to a particular health topic that affects people all over the world. It also marks the birthday of the World Health Organisation (WHO) which was founded in 1948. This year the world health body is observing its 75th anniversary. The theme for the World Health Day 2023 is “Health For All.” (ANI)

Ayushmann Flaunts His Love For Rajma Chawal

Being a true-blue Punjabi, actor Ayushmann Khurrana loves rajma chawal.

On Wednesday, Ayushmann had a meal full of rajma chawal for lunch. He even took to Twitter to share his excitement about eating it. And not just that, he also offered it to his fans (virtually, of course).
Ayushmann Khurrana dropped a close-up image of his meal on Twitter. One bowl is filled with rajma curry and another has plain white rice.

“Rajma chawal?” he asked his followers in the caption.

Ayushmann’s post garnered several likes and comments.

“Real happiness is eating rajma chawal,” a social media user commented.

“It’s the most comforting meal,” another one wrote.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ayushmann was recently seen in ‘An Action Hero’, helmed by Anirudh Iyer. The film saw Ayushmann sharing screen space with Jaideep Ahlawat.

The film failed at the box office despite getting positive word of mouth from the audience.

In the upcoming months, Ayushmann will be seen in the sequel to his hit franchise Dream Girl 2. The film will also feature Ananya Panday. (ANI)

Actor Esha Gupta recently dropped an adorable video with boyfriend Manuel Campos Guallar from Delhi’s famous Lodhi Garden.

In the video, the duo is seen enjoying Delhi’s winter by walking hand-in-hand at the Lodhi Garden,
“Delhi,” she simply captioned the post.

Esha made her relationship with Manuel, a Spain-based businessman, an Instagram official in April 2020. She dropped a picture with Manuel and captioned it, “te amo mucho mi amor,” which translates to “I love you so much, my love.” In the picture, Esha and Manuel can be seen with their arms around each other, wearing black, standing in what seems to be a hotel lobby.

Rushad Rana Gets Married

Actor Rushad Rana recently tied the knot with creative director Ketaki Walawalkar.

The couple’s wedding ceremony was attended by family members and close friends from the industry.
Anupamaa actress Rupali Ganguly shared several pictures from the wedding and extended heartfelt greetings to the couple on social media.

“Ho gayi shaaaadddiiiiii,” Rupali captioned the pictures, adding a string of red heart and evil eye emojis.

Rupali’s post was flooded with congratulatory wishes for Rushad and Ketaki.

“Badhai,” actor Ronit Roy commented.

Actor Jaswir Kaur dropped a red heart emoji in the comment section.

Rupali also dropped a few pictures from the couple’s mehendi function.

“I love both so much Mrs and Mr Walawalakar-Rana wish u both a lifetime of love and happiness (sic),” he post read.

Tamil actress Pauline Jessica found hanging in Chennai flat

Prominent Tamil actress Pauline Jessica, popularly known as Divya, committed suicide in her rented flat in Chennai’s Virugambakkam Mallika Avenue on September 18.

Pauline was a native of Andhra Pradesh.
She had played the lead role in the recently released Tamil movie ‘Vaidha’. Besides, she worked in various Tamil movies and serials.

The popular actor was found hanging in her apartment on Sunday, September 18.

Earlier, the Koyambedu Police had got information from neighbours of the actor regarding her death. Later, the said police reached the spot and sent the body to Kilpauk Government Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.

Later, the relatives of the actor were informed and her body was sent to Andhra Pradesh.

“We are investigating the alleged suicide of popular actor Pauline Jessica from all sides and are taking the help of CCTV,”, said the police. The police are trying to find out who all came to Pauline’s residence. Before the day of the suicide, it had been found that the popular actor had reached her apartment in an auto. The cops are also trying to ascertain whether it was a suicide case or somebody pushed her to commit suicide.

According to police, a suicide note had been found in which she had mentioned that a failed relationship was the main reason behind her death. (ANI)
