Vicky Works Out Despite Fractured Arm

Actor Vicky Kaushal loves working out. Despite being injured, he has been trying his best to sweat it out in the gym.

On Friday, Vicky took to Instagram and shared a video in which he can be seen doing seated crunches while sporting an arm cast.

“When we can’t run, we walk…we don’t stop,” he captioned the post.

Vicky reportedly injured his arm while shooting for his upcoming film ‘Chhava’.

Speaking of ‘Chhava’ film, it also stars Rashmika Mandanna.

Rashmika recently wrapped the shoot for Chhava. After finishing the shoot, she penned down a note of gratitude the director, producer, and other team of the movie. For the Sam Bahadur star with whom she is working for the first time, she wrote, “It’s been such a pleasure working with you. You are just tooooo warm and kind (except for the last day where you were just taking my case) but most days you were amazing. I am kidding..you are such a gem. I will always wish the best for you man. Was such a pleasure. mom has told me to convey regards to you.”

Talking about the film’s director Laxman Utekar, she wrote, “I just wonder how can a man handle such a bigg set with at least 1500 working people with such calm and poise..sir you have seen me as Yesubai when no one in the world could’ve even thought about this.”

Vicky will also be seen in an upcoming untitled romantic drama film. Helmed by Anand Tiwari and produced by Karan Johar the film also stars Tripti Dimri and Ammy Vrik in the lead roles. (ANI)

Actor Vicky Kaushal is the latest celebrity to heap praises on the team of ’12th Fail’.

Taking to Instagram Story, Vicky penned a heartfelt note for the team of 12th Fail including actor Vikrant Massey and director Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

He wrote, “Speechless! Bohat roya par dil khush ho gaya (Cried a lot but it fills up my heart). The best film, the best performance and the best story of the year. What a cinematic triumph! Vidhu Vinod Chopra, I tip my hat off to you Sir.

Tagging Vikrant, who plays the role of Manoj Kumar Sharma in the film, Vicky Kaushal wrote, “Jald hi milkar gale lagna hai (Will meet soon and hug you).” Such an inspiring performance” and dropped a string of heart emojis. For actor Medha Shankar, Vicky wrote, “Absolutely brilliant!” He concluded his post with these words, “And my salute to the entire ensemble cast and all the technicians! What a film!”

Helmed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, ’12th Fail’ revolves around UPSC aspirants and is based on real-life experiences. It draws from the gritty struggles of millions of students who attempt the UPSC entrance exam.

On working on the film, Vikrant told ANI, “The movie is very typical Vidhu Vinod Chopra movie, which is based on hard reality and is a very hard-hitting film. The role was very challenging. I had to lose weight and darken my skin.”

The film has also received appreciation from Kamal Haasan, Rishabh Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Farhan Akhtar, and Anil Kapoor, among others.’12th Fail’ was released in theatres on October 27. (ANI)

Actor Vicky Kaushal-starrer biopic drama film ‘Sam Bahadur’ has entered the Rs 100 crore club worldwide.

Taking to Instagram, Vicky shared this exciting news with fans.

Sharing the poster, Vicky wrote, “Sam Bahadur marches on with pride & victory at the box office, and we are grateful! “

The film has now crossed the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide since its release.

Sharing the news also on his Instagram stories, Vicky overwhelmed with the response wrote, “I’M Ok.”

The film got a decent start at the box office on Day 1.

The film minted Rs 6.25 crores on its opening day in India.

Taking to Instagram, trade analyst Taran Adarsh had shared a post which he captioned, “#SamBahadur gathered momentum towards evening shows on Day 1… Biz needs to multiply on Sat-Sun for a respectable weekend total… Fri Rs 6.25 cr. #India biz.”

Helmed by Meghna Gulzar, the film also starred Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead roles.

‘Sam Bahadur’ is based on the life of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. His career in the army spanned over four decades and five wars. He was the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal. Manekshaw, fondly called ‘Sam Bahadur,’ led the Indian Army to victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war, which resulted in the creation of Bangladesh.

In his military career, Manekshaw also played a crucial role in the Indo-Pak War of 1947 and the liberation of Hyderabad in 1948.

‘Sam Bahadur’ marks Vicky’s second collaboration with Meghna Gulazar after ‘Raazi’.
