Ram Charan’s Makeup Artist Alleges SRK Disrespected ‘RRR’ Actor

South actor Ram Charan’s makeup artist Zeba Hassan alleged that superstar Shah Rukh Khan disrespected the ‘RRR’ actor with his “Idly vada” remark at the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar.

Hassan also claimed that she “walked out” of the event after that happened.

Taking to Instagram, Hassan posted a video on her stories where Shah Rukh invited Ram Charan on stage which she captioned, “Bhend idly vada Ram Charan kahan hai tu?? I walked out after this. So disrespectful for a star like @alwaysramcharan.”

On Day 2 of the gala event, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman, and Aamir performed the hook step of the Ram Charan and NTR Jr starrer ‘RRR’ song ‘Naatu Naatu’ on the stage.

After that, SRK asked Ram Charan, who also joined the festivities, to come on stage and shake a leg with them.

He jokingly said some gibberish words, seemingly in Tamil or Telugu language which have hurt the sentiments of RRR actor’s makeup artist.

Soon after she made the claims, several social media users expressed their disappointment over SRK’s ‘idly’ remarks and called them “insensitive.”

A user wrote, “As a South Indian I feel very anguished on SRK for calling Ram Charan Sir by racist way.”

Another user wrote, “Calling a South Indian ‘idli vada’ can never be funny.”

However, several SRK fans landed in support of the ‘Don’ actor saying that the ‘Chak De India’ actor’s remarks on stage were similar to his dialogues from one of his films ‘One 2 Ka 4’.

Taking to X, users shared the clip of SRK’s dialogue from the film.

While some pointed out how SRK bowed to Ram Charan as he arrived on the stage, even though he is a senior actor.

The three-day pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant were held in Jamnagar from March 1 to March 3.

Alia Casts A Spell In Golden Lehenga

After turning heads in a blue gown, leaving no stone on the second day of the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, Alia Bhatt looked ethereal in golden lehenga.

Taking to Instagram, the ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ actor treated fans with her traditional look.

Alia wore a net lehenga which features gold embroidery adorned with sequins. Paired with a matching scallop-edged blouse, the silhouette has a fully embroidered net dupatta.

She opted for a beautiful ensemble from the shelves of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.

For the glam, Alia went for minimal makeup and kept her hair open.

Ranbir, on the other hand, donned a shinny blue kurta pyjama for the function.

One of the pictures captured the way Ranbir cutely looked at his wife.

Alia and Ranbir are among the guests invited to the wedding celebrations alongside several other celebrities.

The couple attended the festivities with their daughter Raha and Neetu Kapoor.

On Day 1, Alia opted for a blue-hued corset-styled off-shoulder body-hugging gown with a plunging neckline and embellishment on it.

Actor Akshay Kumar not only lit the stage on fire on Day 2 of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding gala night in his style but Khiladi of Bollywood left the guests and fans awestruck with his singing.

During the extravagant pre-wedding festivities, Akshay wore an ethnic attire for the event.

Grabbing the mic, Akshay sang the Punjabi hit ‘Gur Naal Ishq Mitha’ along with his stunning dance moves.

Actor Ranveer Singh joined Akshay briefly on the floor.

The audience erupted into applause and cheers.

Even the host of the event, Mukesh Ambani gave him a warm hug after his performance.

The Saturday night also showed, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman and Aamir together after years. The trio treated fans with their electrifying and fun performance.

Rihanna Grooves With Janhvi At Anant-Radhika Pre-Wedding Bash

Pop queen Rihanna and actor Janhvi Kapoor shared ‘thumkas’ on the latter’s song ‘Zingaat’ at the pre-wedding bash of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant on Friday.

The Bollywood actor posted a video of Rihanna dancing with her to the beats of the track from the fim ‘Dhadak.’ They were surrounded by other guests at the event.

Sharing the video, Jhanvi wrote, “This woman is a goddess. Stop it goodbye.”

In her first visit to India, Rihanna, donning a fluorescent glittering bodycon ensemble topped with a flowing gown performed a medeley of her hits including “We Found Love” “Work”, “Wild Thoughts”, “Birthday Cake”, “Pour It Up” and “Pose”.

Intrestingly, she performed barefoot, something that did not go unnoticed by fans on social media

Ahead of her performance, the “Diamonds” star She said she was happy to be a part of such a significant occasion and wished Anant and Radhika a blessed future together.

In the video, Janhvi can be seen teaching Rihanna how to ace ‘thumkas’ with the Barbadian singer following her lead.

As soon as the video was shared, fans chimed in the comment section.

Ranbir, Alia, Raha Head To Jamnagar For Anant-Radhika’s Pre-Wedding Festivities

Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt along with their daughter Raha, jetted off to join the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son, Anant Ambani, is set to tie the knot with industrialist Viren Merchant’s daughter, Radhika Merchant, later this year.

Ranbir and Alia, who are among the guests invited to the wedding celebrations alongside several other celebrities, were seen at the airport dressed in their casual outfits.

Ranbir waved and posed for the paps before heading to catch a flight, while Alia can be seen carrying Raha in her arms.

Neetu Kapoor also snapped at the airport with the couple.

Earlier in the day, American singer and songwriter, J Brown arrived in Jamnagar for the three-day pre-wedding celebrations.

Not only, J Brown, but multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and bassist Adam Blackstone also reached Jamnagar.

At Jogwad village near Reliance Township in Jamnagar, Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani and other members of the Ambani family, including Radhika Merchant, served traditional Gujarati food to the villagers. Radhika’s maternal grandmother and parents – Viren and Shaila Merchant – also took part in the ‘anna seva’. Food will be served to about 51,000 local residents, which will continue for the next few days.

On Wednesday, the Ambani family organised ‘anna seva’ to seek the blessings of the local community for the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. After the meal, the attendees enjoyed traditional folk music. Famous Gujarati singer Kirtidan Gadhvi stole the show with his singing.

Sharing food is an old tradition in the Ambani family. The Ambani family has been serving food on auspicious family occasions. When the country was grappling with the coronavirus pandemic, the Reliance Foundation, under the leadership of Anant Ambani’s mother, Nita Ambani, ran a large food distribution programme. Taking forward the family tradition, Anant Ambani has started his pre-wedding functions with ‘anna seva.’

The pre-wedding functions are expected to be traditional and grand.

Guests will get to experience the beauty of Indian culture at the pre-wedding festivities. The guests at the occasion will receive traditional scarves made by women artisans from Kachchh and Lalpur in Gujarat.

The guest list includes former Prime Minister of Sweden Carl Bildt, former Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper, former President of Bolivia, Jorge Quiroga, former Prime Minister of Australia Kevin Rudd and Chairperson World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab and many others.

Anant and Radhika got engaged in a traditional ceremony in January 2023 at the family’s residence Antilia in Mumbai.

Isha Ambani, Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani, the three children of Mukesh-Nita Ambani, have been closely involved with and are leading and managing key businesses of RIL over the last few years including retail, digital services and energy and materials businesses. They also serve on the boards of the key subsidiaries of Reliance Industries.

While Isha M Ambani has been driving the expansion of Reliance Retail, Akash M Ambani is serving as the Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) since June 2022 and Anant M Ambani has been driving the expansion of the energy and materials businesses of Reliance Industries.

Isha and Akash got married in 2018 and 2019, respectively.

Anant Ambani is also involved with several compassionate initiatives to rehabilitate at-risk animals and provide them with care and dignity in their residual life.

Reliance Industries and Reliance Foundation on February 26 launched ‘Vantara’, a paradigm-shifting initiative for animal welfare in the heart of Gujarat’s green belt. Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, the film was declared a blockbuster hit. She will be next seen in Karan Johar’s upcoming romantic film ‘Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ opposite Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.

Security Beefed Up At Ambani’s House After Threat Call

A threat call was received at HN Reliance Foundation Hospital on Wednesday where the unknown caller threatened to blow up the hospital and issued death threats to Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and his family.

“At 12.75 pm today and again at 5.04 pm October 5, a call was received at the call center of Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital threatening to blow up the hospital and threatening to take the lives of Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani. The caller also threatened to blow up Antilia and gave multiple threats to members of the Ambani family. A police complaint has been registered and we are providing all the necessary details to the police in their investigations,” said Reliance Industries Limited spokesperson.

A case has been registered at DB Marg Police Station.

“A Threat call was today made to HN Reliance Hospital. The caller threatened to blast the hospital. The caller also gave murder threats to some members of the Ambani family. An FIR has been registered. Checking was conducted and security was increased at the hospital and Antilia. Accused will be nabbed soon,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police, Nilotpal.

The investigation is underway. (ANI)
