Angad To Represent India At International Sprinting Tournament

Actor Angad Bedi is all set to take his sprinting passion to new heights and proudly represent India in the 400m race at an international level, following his remarkable achievement of winning the silver medal in his maiden 400m sprinting tournament in Mumbai.

While he has established himself as a versatile actor, Angad has always harboured a deep love for sports, and his recent success in the 400m race has inspired him to embark on this remarkable journey.
With a determination to excel in his newfound athletic endeavour, Angad has been undergoing rigorous and intensive training under the guidance of his coach, Brinston Miranda.

Coach Miranda, a seasoned athlete himself, achieved the remarkable feat of securing the 5th rank at the World Masters Games in 2016.

Angad’s association with Coach Miranda ensures that he receives top-notch training and mentorship to hone his skills and elevate his performance to international standards.

Expressing his excitement about representing India in sprinting, Angad Bedi said in a statement, “I am honoured and thrilled to have the opportunity to represent my country in the 400m race next year. First I am aiming for Maharashtra State in December then Nationals. The silver medal in my debut sprinting tournament has fueled my determination to pursue this sport at a professional level. With the guidance of my esteemed coach, Brinston Miranda, I am committed to giving my best and making my country proud. I am grateful for the support and encouragement I have received from my family, friends, and fans throughout this incredible journey.”

On the acting front, Angad was recently seen in R Balki’s directorial ‘Lust Stories 2’ opposite Mrunal Thakur and garnered great reviews for his performance.

His next release under the direction of R Balki is a sports drama film titled ‘Ghoomer’.

Angad will be seen sharing screen space with Saiyami Kher and Abhishek Bachchan. (ANI)

Angad Expreses His Desire To Romance Neena On Screen

Actor Angad Bedi who is being praised for his performance in ‘Lust Stories 2’ expressed his desire to romance veteran actor Neena Gupta on screen.

The actor recently revealed how he would love to romance her onscreen for any project. Having spent a lot of time with Neena, Angad is totally impressed by the way the veteran actor takes her roles. Angad has also expressed his desire to play a romantic role opposite her onscreen someday.
Anagad said in the statement, “Neena Gupta is an amazing actor. She has this effortless way of playing her characters, which is a lesson for many actors. In Lust Stories 2, we have a different relationship, but someday I would love to romance her onscreen for any project. I am sure it won’t be your regular romantic story so I am looking forward to any such project. I have watched many of her older projects and I feel she is one of the very underrated actors we have in the industry who is slowly getting her due credit.”

Helmed by R Balki, the movie delves into the significance of lust and sex in nurturing successful relationships, with Angad’s on-screen dynamic with Neena Gupta’s character as the grandmother highlighting the film’s compelling narrative. Neena suggested a young couple, played by Angad and Mrunal, go on a ‘test drive’ for sexual compatibility.

‘Lust Stories 2’ is an anthology of four stories directed by ace directors Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sen Sharma, R Balki and Sujoy Ghosh.

The cast also includes Kajol, Vijay Varma, Tamannaah Bhatia, Tillotama Shome, Amruta Subhash, Neena Gupta and Kumud Mishra.

Angad Drops Adorable Picture With Mrunal

Actors Mrunal Thakur and Angad Bedi will be seen sharing screen space with Angad Bedi in ‘Lust Stories 2’.

On Thursday, Angad took to Instagram and shared a BTS picture with Mrunal from the sets of the film.

The image shows Angad and Mrunal flashing their million-dollar smiles.

“A lust Story…Made for Each Other,” Angad captioned the post.

‘Lust Stories’ explores the concepts of modern-day relationships and the varying degrees of complexities that come with it.

Lust Stories 2 is an anthology of four stories directed by ace directors Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sen Sharma, R Balki and Sujoy Ghosh.

The cast also includes Kajol, Vijay Varma, Tamannaah Bhatia, Tillotama Shome, Amruta Subhash, Neena Gupta and Kumud Mishra.

‘Lust Stories’ will be streaming on Netflix from June 29.

In the coming months, Mrunal will also be seen opposite Vijay Deverakonda in a yet-to-be-titled project.

The film is being helmed by Parasuram Petla and is being produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations.Mrunal shared a picture with Vijay on her Instagram handle and wrote in the caption, “The first step in a very exciting journey…It’s my 1st time working with @srivenkateswaracreations and I’m really thrilled to be sharing the screen with @thedeverakonda..Can’t wait for the shoot to begin @parasurampetla #KUMohanan @gopisundar__official #VasuVarma #DilRaju #Shirish @harshithsri @hanshithareddy”

She also has a film with Nani. The duo recently wrapped up filming the project.

Speaking about the movie, Mrunal earlier said, “I’m sure elated and excited to be part of this project. It’s a really heartwarming story and the team backing the project is immensely talented. I’m looking forward to working with Nani. It’s an interesting curve, given I did the remake of Jersey last year, a film Nani originally starred in.” (ANI)
