Ibrahim, Palak Step Out For A Movie Night

Actor Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan and Shweta Tiwari’s daughter Palak Tiwari sparked dating rumours after they were spotted leaving the movie theatre at Juhu.

Shutterbugs on Saturday night, spotted Palak and Ibrahim leaving together after a speculated movie date in Juhu.

The pictures and videos of the two are going rounds on the internet.

Palak looked uber cool as she donned a black crop top, black bottoms and an oversized matching jacket.  Ibrahim opted for a casual look as he donned a white t-shirt with a black shirt and black trousers.

The rumoured couple was seen leaving the theatre after a date to the movies. Ibrahim was holding Palak’s jacket. Palak exited the room via a different entrance.

This event has given fire to the rumours that the duo is dating.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ibrahim assisted director Karan Johar in his upcoming romantic drama ‘Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in the lead roles.

Palak, on the other hand, has made a name for herself after featuring opposite Harrdy Sandhu in ‘Bijlee Bijlee’ song. She debuted in Bollywood in the movie ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ alongside Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Shehnaaz Gill, Bhumika Chawla, Jagapathi Babu, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, and Vijender Singh. Meanwhile, on the work front, she will be seen in director Sujoy Ghosh’s thriller which is based on the book ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’. It also stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat.

Kareena also has ‘The Crew’ in her kitty.

‘The Crew’ stars Kareena, Tabu, Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles. It is a story of three women and is touted as a laugh-riot, set against the backdrop of the struggling airline industry. However, their destinies lead to some unwarranted situations and they get caught in a web of lies.

Actor Kapil Sharma will also be seen in a special cameo role in ‘The Crew’.

Makers recently announced the release date.

‘The Crew’ is all set to hit the theatres on March 22, 2024.

Big B Meets Fans, Breaks Long-Term ‘Bare Feet’ Tradition

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan never misses a chance to meet and greet his fans on Sunday, who specially come to catch a glimpse of the actor outside his bungalow, Jalsa.

The past weekend was no exception. Big B waved to the awaiting fans at the gate of his residence on Sunday. However, this time he broke his ritual of meeting the fans “bare feet”.
Taking to his blog, Amitabh revealed that he met his fans wearing shoes on Sunday as he had blisters on his feet.

“… and a big difference today .. SHOES .. shoes because , shooting bare feet, whole of yesterday , gave rise to a rise in what is generally referred to bumps in the foot .. named blisters .. a similar incident earlier had incapacitated the body for long so taking precaution .. so the temple is still the same, and next time round it shall be revered,” he wrote.

Big B also shared a string of images from the meet and greet session.

It was earlier this month only when Big B shared why he goes bare feet to meet his fans.

He wrote, “some sarcastically commented on a few occasions .. ‘who goes out wearing socks and bare feet’ .. I say ..’I DO’ ! .. you got a problem with that !!?? ‘You go to the temple bare feet .. my well wishers are my temple !!'”

The Pink actor also talked about the importance of comfort wear and said, “Comfort be the elements of use in these times of uncared for attitudes , breaking away from any tradition that could have been imposed .. Shoes .. The comfort of the ‘sneakers’ or whatever else they may be called .. the nikes, the other brands , all .. now the formal wear irrespective .. that black patent leather, that polished bright , whatever , has disappeared .. the white bordered comfort wear be the IT .. !”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Big B was last seen in the family entertainer film ‘Uunchai’ along with Anupam Kher, Parineeti Chopra and Boman Irani. Helmed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film got positive responses from the audience.

The ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ actor is sharing screenspace with Shehnaaz for the first time. BPraak has sung Nawazuddin’s ‘Yaar Ka Sataya Hua Hai’ from the album ‘Zohrajabeen’. It will be released on July 3. Nawazuddin’s fisrt musical album’s song was ‘Baarish Ki Jaaye’. After this, the actor is coming back with ‘Yaar Ka Sataya Hua Hai’.

Nawazuddin is known for his roles in ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, ‘The Lunchbox’, ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ ‘Manto’, ‘Badlapur’, among others.

Kamal Haasan Joins Cast Of ‘Project K’

Legendary actor Kamal Haasan is the new addition to the action thriller film ‘Project K’ which also features Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan.

Taking to Instagram, Prabhas, on Sunday shared an announcement video of the ‘Vikram’ actor joining the cast of ‘Project K’.
He captioned the video, “A moment that will be etched in my heart forever. Honored beyond words to collaborate with the legendary @ikamalhaasan sir in #ProjectK. The opportunity to learn and grow alongside such a titan of cinema is a dream come true moment.”

Helmed by Nag Ashwin, the film is all set to hit the theatres on January 12, 2024.

Confirming the news, Haasan said in an official statement, “50 years back when I was a dance assistant and an assistant director the name Ashwini Dutt loomed large in the production sector. Both of us are coming together after 50 years. A brilliant director from our next generation is at the helm. My co-stars MPrabhas and Deepika are also of that generation . I have worked with Amit Ji before . Yet every time it feels like the first time. Amit Ji keeps reinventing himself. I am also emulating that inventive process. I am eagerly waiting for Project K. Whatever position the audience place me at, my primary quality is that I am a film buff. That quality will keep applauding any new attempt in my industry. Let mine be the first applause for Project K. With our director Nag Ashwin’s vision I am sure that applause will echo across our country and the world of cinema.”

Director Nag Ashwin also shared his excitement about Kamal Haasan joining the cast of the film. He said, “For an actor like Kamal sir, who has done so many iconic roles, it’s a huge honour to attempt to do something new. We are all super excited and privileged that he agreed to come onboard and complete our world.”

‘Project K’ is a bilingual film shot simultaneously in two languages i.e Hindi and Telugu across various locations. The film will also mark Deepika’s debut in the Telugu film market.

This is not the first time that Abhishek Bachchan has been questioned about his wife’s professional choices and so on. But the junior Bachchan knows how to shut down the trolls and he came up with a befitting reply.

Praising Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s latest release ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ Abhishek wrote on Twitter on Saturday, “#PS2 is simply FANTASTIC!!! At a loss for words right now. So overwhelmed. Well done to the entire team #ManiRatnam@chiyaan@trishtrashers @actor_jayamravi @Karthi_Offl and the rest of the cast and crew. And so, so proud of the Mrs. Her best by far. #AishwaryaRaiBachchan.”
In that thread, a person commented, “As you should! Now let her sign more movies and you take care of Aaradhya.” Retorting back to the said person, Abhishek wrote, “Let her sign??? Sir, she certainly doesn’t need my permission to do anything. Especially something she loves.”

Ponniyin Selvan 2, directed by Mani Ratnam, is the sequel to the 2022 film. Actor Kamal Haasan has lent his voice to the film’s narration. Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman has been entrusted with the music for the film.

Actors Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Prabhu, R Sarathkumar, Parthiban, and Vikram Prabhu reprise their roles in the second installment of the epic drama that narrates the story of the Chola Dynasty. The film is an adaptation of Kalki Krishnamurthy’s five-part novel series of the same name.

Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 covered one-third of the novel series and the rest is expected to be told in the second part.

After being acquitted of abetment charges in Jia Khan’s suicide case, actor Sooraj Pancholi took to Instagram to post “The Truth Always Wins!”

The actor posted this note with folded hands and heart emoji. He wrote in hashtags# GodisGreat.

Almost 10 years after actress Jiah Khan’s death by suicide, a special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in Mumbai on Friday acquitted actor Sooraj Pancholi of abetment charges.

“Due to paucity of evidence, this court can’t hold you (Sooraj Pancholi) guilty, hence acquitted,” Special CBI court judge Judge AS Sayyed said while pronouncing the verdict.

Jiah Khan was found dead in her suburban home on June 3, 2013.

Based on a letter seized on June 10, which was purportedly written by the 25-year-old Jiah, Mumbai Police booked Suraj Pancholi under section 306 (abetment to suicide) and arrested him.

Sooraj, son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, was allegedly in a relationship with Jiah.

Jiah’s mother Rabia Khan alleged that her daughter was murdered.

In October 2013, Rabia moved to the Bombay High Court seeking a CBI probe in the case while alleging that her daughter had been murdered.

On the order of the Bombay High Court, the CBI took over the probe from the Maharashtra Police in July 2014.

Rabia claimed that her daughter was in an abusive relationship with Sooraj Pancholi.

Sooraj and Jiah started dating in September 2012. (ANI)
