Gauri Lauds Rani’s ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’

Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan gave a shoutout to Rani Mukherjee’s upcoming movie ‘Mrs Chatterjee v/s Norway’.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Gauri posted the poster of the movie with words of appreciation. She wrote, “An impactful performance by Rani… showing why she’s one of the best actresses of our times. Don’t miss this film, it’s brilliant! In a real-life story of resilience and courage, Mrs. Chatterjee takes on an entire nation to protect her children. Witness her fight on 17th March 2023.”
Directed by Ashima Chibber and produced by Zee Studios and Emmay Entertainment, ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ is inspired by true events.

The trailer starts by showing how happily Mrs Chatterjee (Rani) is enjoying her life with her husband and two kids Shubh and Shuchi in Norway. However, one day, government officials come to her house and snatch away the kids from her. She later learns that the kids have been taken away from her by the government after they decide that the Chatterjee’s have been unable to take care for the kids in their ‘prescribed’ manner.

The latter half of the trailer shows Rani fighting against the Norwegian foster care system to win back the custody of her children.

Bengali actor Anirban Bhattacharya played the role of Rani’s husband in the movie. (ANI)

Ranbir Calls Fatherhood ‘Best Feeling In The World’

Actor Ranbir Kapoor, is currently busy promoting his upcoming romantic comedy film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’.

On Sunday, during a media interaction in Kolkata, the ‘Sanju’ actor fondly talked about his newborn daughter Raha Kapoor and said that he does not feel like leaving his home these days after Raha has come into their lives.
Ranbir said, “This morning, even to get that 20 minutes with her before my flight, it just rejuvenates you. I miss her a lot, I keep seeing her photos”

“Are you a father?” Ranbir questioned a media person. “No”, the reporter replied. “Okay! I wish that upon you because it’s truly the best feeling in the world,” the actor smiled.

“It feels like a new understanding of love. You were asking me about the language of love, but the baby has no language. It’s a love you cannot describe,” he added.

Ranbir tied the knot with actor Alia Bhatt on April 14, 2022, after dating for years at Ranbir’s Mumbai residence in an intimate ceremony and the couple welcomed their first child, Raha in November last year.

The ‘Rockstar’ also shared some fun moments from his parenthood journey and said “I’m a burping specialist! I never knew burping is such a big part (in the early stages of a child). Whenever I’m at home, I’m always beside her and it’s magical. She has just started smiling in the last two weeks. And seeing that smile breaks your heart,” said Ranbir.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the ‘Besharam’ actor will be next seen in director Luv Ranjan’s next rom-com film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ opposite Shraddha Kapoor.

SRK Shares Motivational Words For 10th, 12th Students Ahead Of Board Exams

Shah Rukh Khan motivated 10th and 12th-class students who are giving their board exams.

On Monday, the ‘Pathaan’ actor conducted an #AskSRK session on Twitter, where he answered his fan’s questions.
When a user asked him about to give few words of motivation for students of 10th and 12th who’ll face board examination in the next few weeks.

SRK replied, “Study as hard as you can. Do not get anxious. I used to carry a placard in the school march past…’do your best and leave the rest’ just don’t stress. All the best.”

CBSE Board exams 2023 for classes 10 and 12 got underway across the country.

The examinations of Class 10 and Class 12 are being held from February 15 to April 5, according to an official release from CBSE.

CBSE has made elaborate arrangements for the conduct of examinations in India and in 26 countries abroad to ensure that all the important information for the conduct of examinations is communicated to all responsible officials at the examination centres. CBSE has circulated detailed guidelines to all the stakeholders to ensure that the students are appearing in the examinations without any stress.

Apart from responding to tweets related to Pathaan’s success and upcoming projects, Shah Rukh also addressed questions related to his personal life.

Meanwhile, on the work front, SRK is busy shooting for Atlee’s directorial ‘Jawan’. He recently headed to Pune for the film’s shoot. The film, which also stars Nayanthara, is all set to hit the theatres on June 2 in five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

It is billed as an event film with high-octane action sequences. Shah Rukh’s production company Red Chillies Entertainment has produced it. In June 2022, SRK unveiled the film’s teaser which opened with a glimpse of the Northern Lights over mountain tops.

Apart from ‘Jawan’, SRK also has Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’. The film marks SRK’s first collaboration with Taapsee Pannu. (ANI)

Ayushmann Becomes UNICEF National Ambassador

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who has always been vocal about children’s rights, on Saturday joined hands with UNICEF to show his support towards ensuring the right of every child to survive, thrive, and be protected.

Today, UNICEF India announced the appointment of the ‘Dream Girl 2’ actor as a National Ambassador.
Speaking at the conferment Ayushmann said,” It is truly an honor to further my advocacy for children’s rights with UNICEF India as a National Ambassador. I am passionate about the issues facing children and adolescents in India. As UNICEF’s Celebrity Advocate, I have interacted with children and spoken on internet safety, cyberbullying, mental health, and gender equality. In this new role with UNICEF, I will keep up a strong voice for children’s rights, especially for the most vulnerable supporting solutions for issues that impact them the most.”

Welcoming Ayushman Khurrana as the National Ambassador for children’s rights, Cynthia McCaffrey, UNICEF India Representative said, “I am delighted to welcome Ayushmann Khurrana as UNICEF India’s National Ambassador. Ayushmann was appointed UNICEF India’s Celebrity Advocate in September 2020 to advocate on ending violence against children and the broader child rights agenda.

His active participation in World Children’s Day, adding his voice and influence on International Women’s Day, International Day of the Girl Child, World Day Against Child Labour, and Safer Internet Day raised the profile of children’s causes and received wide public attention.

Most recently he focused attention on inclusion and non-discrimination through gender inclusive sports on World Children’s Day 2022 with Sachin Tendulkar, Regional Ambassador for UNICEF South Asia, and with girls and boys participating from across India.

C’garh: B’wood Actors Arrive For Celebrity Cricket League

Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh has said that for the first time, the matches of Celebrity Cricket League are going to be held in Raipur and “we are very much excited about the matches”

Exhorting the public to register their presence in the event, the actor while speaking to media persons at the airport here on Friday said that matches are going to be great and people should come to cheer for us.
“Everyone loves cricket and for the first time we actors come here for this game. I hope people will enjoy this new side of their favourite artists,” said Bollywood actor Aftab Shivdasani.

“We will be very happy if we get support from people,” he said, adding that a better team will win.

As many as four matches of Celebrity Cricket League will be played at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Cricket Stadium from February 18-19. The matches will feature the participation of actors including Sohail Khan, Suniel Shetty, Riteish Deshmukh, Sonu Sood, Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan, Nirahua and others.

First match of the cricketing event will be played between Telugu Warriors and Kerala Strikers on February 18 at 2:30 pm while in the second match, Chennai Rhinos will face Karnataka Bulldozers at 7 pm.

On February 19, the first match will be played between Bengal Tiger Vs Bhojpuri Dabanggs while the second match will be played between Mumbai Heroes and Punjab De Sher.

For the first time, Celebrity Cricket League will be held in Chhattisgarh and preparation for this is ongoing at war footing speed, said owner of Bhojpuri Dabanggs Anand Bihari, elaborating that four matches will be played here.

The cricketing event will provide an opportunity for the people here to have a glimpse of their favourite actors, said Bihari, adding that the matches will be very interesting and entertaining.

Bihari further informed that Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Cricket Stadium has been formed as the home ground of Bhojpuri Dabanggs. Artists of film industries representing different languages are playing this tournament by forming eight teams. The team of Bhojpuri Dabanggs is composed of Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan and Dinesh Lal Yadav while the brand ambassadors are Neelam, Mahima and Amrapali. (ANI)

Rana Daggubati, Venkatesh Daggubati Unveil Thriller ‘Rana Naidu’ Trailer Out

Actors Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh Daggubati, on Wednesday, unveiled the trailer of their much-awaited high-octane action thriller series ‘Rana Naidu’.

Taking to Instagram, Rana shared the trailer which he captioned, “He operates in the shadows, but now, a shadow from his past is about to return and shake his world to its core! Watch this action-packed saga unfold in #RanaNaidu on March 10!.”

Created by Karan Anshuman, ‘Rana Naidu’ is an adaptation of the popular American series, ‘Ray Donovan’ and is all set to stream on the OTT platform Netflix from March 10, 2023.

The series features Rana Daggubati, Venkatesh Daggubati, Surveen Chawla, and Sushant Singh in the lead roles.

‘Rana Naidu’ marks the first collaboration of the ‘Baahubali’ actor Rana Daggubati with his uncle Venkatesh Daggubati.

Speaking about the show, Rana said, “This project has been a long-time coming and it’s special for so many reasons. It’s not only my first collaboration with Netflix but also with my uncle, Venky. It has been an enriching experience working with Sunder (Aaron,) Karan (Anshuman) and Suparn (Varma) on this project and I am glad Rana Naidu turned out the way it has. The entire cast and crew have put in a lot of hard work into the series and I am confident that the audiences will love it!”

He added, “Playing the role of Rana Naidu was exceptionally challenging. When a user about his first gift to Gauri Khan on their first Valentine’s Day, Shah Rukh said, “If I remember correctly it’s been what 34 years now… a pair of pink plastic earrings I think…”

As it’s Valentine’s Day today, one of the netizens asked SRK to reveal his first gift to Gauri on their first Valentine’s Day.

SRK took notice of the tweet and replied, “If I remember correctly it’s been what 34 years now… a pair of pink plastic earrings I think…”

Shah Rukh first met Gauri in 1984, when he was all of 18, while Gauri was just 14. He bumped into her at a party where she was dancing with her friend. After Gauri spoke to him for ‘more than three seconds’, he felt ‘encouraged’ and wanted to date Gauri.

After dating for a couple of years, the two tied the knot on October 25, 1991.

Six years after their wedding, Gauri and Shah Rukh welcomed their first son, Aryan Khan, on November 13. Shah Rukh and Gauri’s daughter Suhana Khan was born on May 22, 2000, while their youngest, son AbRam Khan, was born on May 27, 2013, via surrogacy. (ANI)
