Family Drama: Ranveer Singh Wants A Kiss From Deepika

When it comes to PDA, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh know how to catch everyone’s attention with their flirty comments for each other on social media.

On Wednesday, Deepika, who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Om Shanti Om, completed 15 years in the Hindi film industry.

Marking the special occasion, Deepika took to Instagram and posted an artsy video of herself. Without revealing many details, her video read, “It’s time to look East.” Sharing the mystery post, the actor teased her fans and wrote, “#staytuned.”

Deepika’s post left her fans curious. “Are you coming up with a new movie?” a fan asked in the comment section. “I feel she is going to launch her brand,” another one wrote.

However, it was Deepika’s husband Ranveer’s comment that hogged all the limelight. “It’s time to give me a kiss,” Ranveer commented.

Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in November 2018 after dating for six long years and the couple never fail to shower love on each other.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika will be seen sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Pathaan’, which also stars John Abraham. The action drama is set to hit the theatres on January 25, 2023. Deepika will be also seen in ‘The Intern’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan and in a Pan-India film ‘Project-K’ along with south actor Prabhas. She also has ‘Fighter’ with Hrithik Roshan in her kitty.

Ranveer, on the other hand, will be next seen in director Rohit Shetty’s upcoming comedy film ‘Cirkus’ alongside Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde. The film is all set to hit the theatres on the occasion of Christmas 2022.

I Never Imagined I Was Meant To Do Action: Samantha On Yashoda

Recently the Internet was left shocked when Samantha Ruth Prabhu revealed her struggle with the rare disease Myositis just a few days ahead of her much anticipated and awaited release, ‘Yashoda’.

The ‘O Antava’ actor shared her experience doing the action film.
In ‘Yashoda’ Samantha plays a surrogate mother, unfolding the secrets of a serious medical crime with courage. She enrolls on Eva, a company that’s helping people fulfill their dreams of becoming parents through surrogacy. However, the route to embracing parenthood comes with a lot of challenges.

With ‘Yashoda’, Samantha is collaborating with Yannick Ben for the second time, after their first association for ‘The Family Man’, recently the stunt choreographer heaped praises on the leading lady for her dedication and devotion.

Samantha said, “The most challenging part of shooting for Yashoda were the action sequences. I really enjoy doing action even though I never imagined I was meant to do action, but it is quite surprising and the love for the genre has been a revelation for myself. Although it is gruesome, it offers a great adrenaline rush and there’s a great sense of accomplishment to perform the stunts. I am also thankful to our action director Yannick, who has been a great guide and mentor to me. I think the action has turned out to be pretty cool and something to look forward to in Yashoda.”

The action style in Yashoda has a mix of varied forms. The combination of fighting is a little bit of boxing, kickboxing, some projection in judo, Brazilian jujitsu, and also a mix of MMA.

Yashoda is a multi-lingual film, shot in Tamil and Telugu, Yashoda will be dubbed and released in three additional languages – Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, making the broadest pan-India release for a female-led film.

Apart from Samantha, popular actresses Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada, Priyanka Sharma and others play crucial roles. With Mani Sharma for music, M Sukumar for cinematography and Marthand K Venkatesh as the editor, Yashoda is leaving no stone unturned to impress the audience.

Directed by Hari and Harish, Yashoda is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the banner of Sridevi Movies and is set to release on November 11, 2022. (ANI)

Hrithik Made His Girlfriend Saba’s Birthday Special

Actor-singer Saba Azad, who recently turned a year older, thanked her beau Hrithik Roshan for making her birthday a memorable one for her.

On Thursday, Saba took to Instagram and dropped a video featuring adorable moments spent with Hrithik on her birthday.
In the clip, the couple is seen working out, posing together, digging into a meal, and cutting the birthday cake.

Sharing how Hrithik helped her “put together” her strange birthday plan, Saba wrote, “I like my birthdays to be quiet. More often than not you’ll find me doing seemingly mundane things on the day, I don’t quite remember when I began doing this but now it seems like the norm. Don’t get me wrong, I love me a good party, so long as I can get a day to do this first. For me my birthday is a microcosm of what I would want my days on earth to be like – a good day is one in which I spend some time learning something new, in which I move my body, take time to nourish my mind, good food always features heavily on such a day and of course spend time with those I love.”

“Thank you Ro for beautifully putting together my strange fruit of a plan. And thank you all of you who reached out with love, kind words, and flowers – my house looks like a garden in spring and my heart is full,” she added.

On Saba’s birthday, Hrithik penned a sweet note for his ladylove.

Rumors about Hrithik and Saba’s relationship started when they were spotted out on a dinner date together in February earlier this year. Later, Saba also joined Hrithik’s family for a get-together. The rumors came to an end after the two walked hand-in-hand at actor Karan Johar’s 50th birthday bash. Hrithik was previously married to interior designer Sussanne Khan.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Hrithik was recently seen in an action thriller film ‘Vikram Vedha’ alongside Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte. Helmed by the director duo Pushkar-Gayatri, the film received positive feedback from the audience. (ANI)

Rakul Preet Shares Parents Reaction To ‘Thank God’

Expressing her happiness and contentment over her recent role played, actor Rakul Preet who received an overwhelming response for her performance in the latest release ‘Thank God’, which also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Ajay Devgn. In the film, she essays the role of a cop.

Sharing how her parents reacted to the film, Rakul said, “This is the earliest my parents have seen any film of mine let me tell you so they called me at 12 in the morning and my dad said this is your best film so far and I was like what really? And my dad felt that this generation would love this film and that families would love the film because it’s so true to our Indian families and culture. He took the number of my director and left him a long message saying thank you for doing this for this generation.”

Rakul also had the opportunity to see the audience’s reaction in theatres and was ecstatic with the response. She added, “Thank God I did surprise theatre visits and the audiences have come up to us emotional. They didn’t expect us in the theatres and they walked up to us stating how everyone really liked the film and how they are emotionally connecting with the film. All I can say is Thank God right now.”

The family entertainer minted Rs 8.10 crore on day 1 of the release, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

“ThankGod relied completely on spot bookings on the biggg #Diwali holiday… Although Day 1 biz is not proportionate with the names attached, the biz gathered speed towards evening onwards… Needs to grow/jump in the long, extended weekend… Tue Rs 8.10 cr. #India biz,” Adarsh posted on Twitter.

Anupam Clebrates Diwali With Big B, SRK, Rani

Actor Anupam Kher has shared pictures with Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, and Rani Mukherjee as he celebrated Diwali with them.

Anupam took to his Instagram handle and posted adorable pictures with a sweet thank you note.
Anupam posted a couple of pictures with his ‘Uunchai’ co-actor Amitabh Bachchan where he could be seen wearing a red checked kurta while Big B donned a yellow kurta with a light color dupatta.

Thanking Big B, he wrote, “Thank you #Amitji, #JayaJi, #Abhishek and #Aishwarya for a wonderful #Deepawali experience at your place. It was great to have some festive time with you all! Love and prayers always. #ShubhDeepawali #Festival.”

In another post, he shared photos with Rani where Rani opted for a black kurta with golden embroidery and red sharara.

Kartik Flaunts Bundle Of Notes Won At Ayushmann’s Diwali Party

Actor Kartik Aaryan won loads of cash at a pre-Diwali house party of Ayushmann Khurrana. On Sunday, the ‘Andhadhun’ actor along with his wife Tahira Kashyap hosted the party. It was star-studded including Kartik, Rakul Preet Singh, Varun Dhawan- Natasha Dalal, Ananya Panday, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Kriti Sanon, and others.

Taking to his Instagram handle, the ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ actor dropped a video featuring Kartik from the Diwali party.

Ayushmann was heard saying, “This man won money not only at the box office but also at the Diwali bash.”

To which Kartik responded, he said, All this money should be given to ‘Doctor G’ and also urged people to go and watch the film.

Meanwhile, on the film front, Ayushmann is all set to come up with ‘Doctor G’, in which he will be seen as a male gynecologist. Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah are also a part of the film, which is directed by Anubhuti Kashyap. The film is scheduled to release on October 14.

Ayushmann also has ‘An Action Hero’ in his kitty. The film has been produced by Anand L Rai and T Series. Jaideep Ahlawat will be seen sharing screen space with Ayushmann in the movie.

Kartik, on the other hand, will be seen sharing screen space with Kiara Advani in ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’. It marks the second collaboration of Kartik and Kiara after their blockbuster hit horror comedy film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. Helmed by Sameer Vidhwans, and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is all set to hit the theatres on June 29, 2023. He will also be seen in ‘Shehzada’ opposite Kriti Sanon.
