This is how Malaika Arora celebrated International Yoga Day

On International Yoga Day 2023, fitness enthusiast Malaika Arora explained the benefits of practising yoga asanas in daily life.

Taking to Instagram, Malaika dropped a video in which she is seen performing yoga.
“POV: Yoga is, quieting the mind…Yoga, is calming the nerves. Yoga is developing strength, growth and love. Happy International Yoga Day,” the text inserted in the video read.

Malaika has her own yoga studio named Diva Yoga Centre in Mumbai. She often posts pictures and videos from her wellness studio.

Every year International Yoga Day is celebrated on June 21 worldwide. It serves as a platform to raise awareness about the numerous benefits of yoga and promote its holistic approach to physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

The concept of International Yoga Day was introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his 2014 address to the United Nations General Assembly. Since then, Yoga has gained huge popularity worldwide due to its ability to enhance flexibility, strength, balance, and overall fitness.

This year the theme of Yoga Day is ‘Yoga For Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ i.e. Yoga for the welfare of all in the form of ‘One World-One Family’. It emphasises the spirit of Yoga, which unites and takes everyone along. (ANI)

Though Shilpa Shetty is on holiday, it hasn’t stopped her from exercising.

As it’s International Yoga Day today, Shilpa took to Instagram and dropped a video of her performing yoga against a scenic backdrop.
Alongside the clip, Shilpa urged everyone to make Yoga a part of their life.

“A spark of a smile can spread the fire of happiness around us. But to be able to do so, one needs to be happy within… Make Yoga a part of your lives too, for a healthy mind, body, and soul. As they say, a healthy person is a happy person. Wishing everyone a Happy & Healthy Yoga Day..Atmanamaste,” she wrote.

Shilpa has been practising yoga for years now. She had earlier launched a holistic health app known that caters to yoga, exercise, diet programs, and immunity.

Shilpa once took to her Instagram to share, “Yoga adds years to your life and life to your years.” She mentioned that she believes this saying to be very accurate. She starts the day with yoga as it sets the tone for the rest of the day. She shares that she does the Eka pada Utkatasana (one-legged chair pose) and goes into Anjaneyasana (low lunge).

Meanwhile, on the acting front, Shilpa will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s OTT debut ‘Indian Police Force’, which also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi. The series will stream on the OTT platform Amazon Prime.

She will also act in ‘KD-The Devil’ as Satyavati alongside V Ravichandran, and Sanjay Dutt. The pan-India multilingual will be released in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. (ANI)

Actor Kunal Kemmu, on Tuesday, set the internet on fire as he dropped another picture of his chiselled physique.

Abhishek Reacts To Fan Asking Him Letting Aishwarya Work More

This is not the first time that Abhishek Bachchan has been questioned about his wife’s professional choices and so on. But the junior Bachchan knows how to shut down the trolls and he came up with a befitting reply.

Praising Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s latest release ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ Abhishek wrote on Twitter on Saturday, “#PS2 is simply FANTASTIC!!! At a loss for words right now. So overwhelmed. Well done to the entire team #ManiRatnam@chiyaan@trishtrashers @actor_jayamravi @Karthi_Offl and the rest of the cast and crew. And so, so proud of the Mrs. Her best by far. #AishwaryaRaiBachchan.”
In that thread, a person commented, “As you should! Now let her sign more movies and you take care of Aaradhya.” Retorting back to the said person, Abhishek wrote, “Let her sign??? Sir, she certainly doesn’t need my permission to do anything. Especially something she loves.”

Ponniyin Selvan 2, directed by Mani Ratnam, is the sequel to the 2022 film. Actor Kamal Haasan has lent his voice to the film’s narration. Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman has been entrusted with the music for the film.

Actors Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Prabhu, R Sarathkumar, Parthiban, and Vikram Prabhu reprise their roles in the second installment of the epic drama that narrates the story of the Chola Dynasty. The film is an adaptation of Kalki Krishnamurthy’s five-part novel series of the same name.

Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 covered one-third of the novel series and the rest is expected to be told in the second part.

Earlier, Aishwarya and Abhishek worked together in Mani Ratnam’s directorial ‘Guru’ which was a landmark movie in their careers. (ANI)

Urfi Issues Clarification On ‘Go To Hell’ Remark Against Ranbir

Urfi Javed and controversies go hand-in-hand. She recently made headlines for saying “go to hell” to actor Ranbir Kapoor.

The whole incident spiralled after Ranbir expressed his views on Urfi Javed’s fashion statement while speaking to Kareena Kapoor Khan on her show ‘What Women Want’ last month.
On the show, Ranbir said he did not like Urfi’s fashion choice, terming it as “bad taste”. On the other hand, Kareena in one of the interviews heaped praises on Urfi’s fashion sense.

Urfi recently spoke to Humans of Bombay, wherein she opened up on Kareena hailing her confidence.

“I was blown away, I couldn’t believe it at first. I thought she might have said something bad and these people are joking with me that she has said something good. But then I saw the video and that day I felt that I have achieved something in life. Kareena Kapoor complimented me, I was like I have achieved a lot,” she said.

She also “sarcastically” took a dig at Ranbir.

“Kareena Kapoor ne meri tareef ki hai! Kareena Kapoor ne! Woh jo gum tha ki Ranbir Kapoor ne bola ‘bad taste,’ maine bola ‘bhaad main jaaye Ranbir Kapoor (I was upset about Ranbir’s comment, but then after Kareena’s compliment, I was like ‘Ranbir can go to hell’). Kareena Kapoor ne meri tarif kar di hai fir kya hai Ranbir ki aukat (Kareena has praised me, I don’t need anyone’s validation or anything)” she added.

However, Urfi’s remarks on Ranbir did not go down well with his fans. A section of social media users slammed Urfi over the “go to hell” comment.

On Monday, Urfi took to Instagram Story and shared a string of posts, explaining that she was being sarcastic and didn’t mean that Ranbir Kapoor should literally “go to hell” for his earlier remark on her style being in “bad taste.

“I never said go to hell Ranbir. I mean… I said it in a very sarcastic and humorous way with no disrespect meant to anyone. And bhaad is not equal to hell,” Urfo said in a video clip.

In another video, Uorfi Javed said, “Mera sarcasm kisi din mujhe pitwaygi… (laughs)… in short meinkisi din pit jaungi yaar, ya toh mere kapdo ke wajah se ya toh mere baaton ke wajah se (I will be beaten someday either because of my words or outfits.).”

Shahid, Kriti Come Together For Impossible Love Story

Woah! Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon have come on board together for a love story.

On Saturday, Kriti took to Instagram and shared the update with her fans and followers. The duo has finished shooting the film.
Announcing the film’s wrap, Kriti wrote, “Announcing the wrap of our impossible love story. Our untitled project is set to release in Oct 2023. A Jio studios and Dinesh Vijan presentation. Written & Directed by Amit Joshi & Aradhana Sah. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande & Laxman Utekar. A Maddock film’s production.”

The makers also unveiled the first look of the actors and undoubtedly Kriti and Shahid looked super hot together. In the image, Shahid and Kriti can be seen sitting on a bike and facing each other. Amidst a sunset backdrop, the actors can be seen in an intimate pose, garnering fans’ attention.

“Two hot actors together…best best news,” a social media user commented.

“Can’t wait for this film. Exciting look,” another one wrote.

Written and Directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the yet-to-be-titled film will hit cinemas this October. Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande and Laxman Utekar have produced it.

Meanwhile, Shahid will also be seen in director Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming action film ‘Bloody Daddy’. The official release date of the film is still awaited. Kriti, on the other hand, also has ‘Ganapath’ with megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Tiger Shroff in his kitty.

The film marks the actor’s second collaboration after the blockbuster ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, which was released in 2022.The film sparked controversy due to its earlier title Satyanarayan Ki Katha, which translates to the story of Satyanarayan, which is another name for the Hindu god Vishnu.In 2021, director Sameer Vidwans issued a statement to announce the change in title. Kartik also reposted the statement on his official Instagram account which said that the title will be changed to avoid hurting sentiments, even if that’s purely unintentional.

“A title of the film is something that emerges organically through the creative process. We have taken a decision to change the title of our recently announced film ‘Satyanarayan ki Katha’ to avoid hurting sentiments, even if that’s purely unintentional. Producers of the film and the creative team also are in complete support of this decision. We will be announcing a new title for our love story in the due course of our journey. Sincerely, Sameer Vidwans,” the statement read.And finally, in 2022, the makers changed the film’s name to ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’.

SRK Gives Electrifying Performance With Varun, Ranveer

It was superstar Shah Rukh Khan who got the loudest cheer with his energetic performance on his song ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ at the grand opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre.

On Saturday, SRK took the stage and danced on on ‘Jhoome Jo Pathan’ in front of a cheering crowd with Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh. The trio enthralled the audience by doing the hook step in sync.
