Don 3: Farhan Announces Kiara To Star Opposite Ranveer

Moviegoers have been eagerly awaiting the female protagonist in Farhan Akhtar’s highly anticipated film ‘Don 3.’

Farhan has revealed that Kiara Advani is joining the cast of Don 3 opposite Ranveer Singh.

The director of the movie took to Instagram to make the announcement.

He captioned it, “Welcome to the Don universe @kiaraaliaadvani #Don3.”

Soon after Farhan shared the post, industry friends flooded the comment section with red hearts and fire emoticons.

Zoya Akhtar dropped heart emojis.

Shibani Dandekar dropped the dancing girl and heart emojis.

Earlier in August 2023, Farhan revealed that Ranveer Singh will be the new Don in the third film of the hit franchise with a special announcement video.

In the teaser, Ranveer is seen seated in a building with his back to the camera. He lights up a cigarette, introduces himself as Don, and then turns to face the camera.

He wears a leather jacket and matching pants for the dapper look and accessorizes it with leather boots and matching sunglasses.

Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan played the character in the earlier versions.

An official announcement for the remaining cast of ‘Don 3’ is still awaited.

The ‘Don’ series has always been associated with compelling stories, exhilarating action, and unforgettable moments.

‘Don’ starred Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Boman Irani in prominent roles. The film was released in 2006 and won Best Asian Film at the Neuchatel International Fantastic Film Festival. Later, its sequel was released in 2011 and was declared a hit.

Actor Hrithik Roshan was seen in a special appearance role in ‘Don 2’.

Farhan’s directorial was a remake of 1978’s ‘Don’, featuring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role.

Makers of the upcoming comedy film 'Fukrey 3' unveiled the official release date and the first look posters of the film on Tuesday.

Makers of the upcoming comedy film ‘Fukrey 3’ unveiled the official release date and the first look posters of the film on Tuesday.

Taking to Instagram, producer Farhan Akhtar shared the poster which he captioned, “Iss baar hoga chamatkaar, straight from Jamnapaar! #Fukrey3 arriving in cinemas on 7th September, 2023.”

Helmed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba ‘Fukrey 3’ stars Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Richa Chadha and Manjot Singh in the lead roles. The film is all set to hit the theatres on September 7, 2023.

Soon after the makers unveiled the first look poster of the film, fans flooded the comment section with red hearts, fire emoticons and shared their excitement. Nupur Sanon commented, “CANNOT WAIT!!.”

A fan commented, “Wow maza aega.”

“Can’t wait to see choocha Bhai and pandit ji,” another fan wrote.

Many fans expressed their disappointment on Ali Fazal not being the part of ‘Fukrey 3’.

“Zafar bhai nhi hai kya is bar,” a fan wrote.

Another use wrote, “This time movie will not up to the mark as ali zafar is not a part of film.”

The first part was released in 2013 and the sequel ‘Fukrey Returns’ came out in 2017.

Meanwhile, Varun Sharma was recently seen in the comedy film ‘Cirkus’ alongside Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde.

Helmed by Rohit Shetty, the film failed to impress the audience at the box office. (ANI)

Man of many hats actor Farhan Akhtar turned a year older Monday. Several celebrities poured their love-filled warm wishes on social media.

Taking to Instagram, Farhan’s ‘Rock On’ co-star Arjun Rampal dropped a sweet birthday wish for his dost.
Sharing the picture, he wrote, “Happy happy birthday dearest @faroutakhtar mere bhai mera dost. Keep being the rock star you are. Love.”

Farhan Akhtar marked his acting debut in the year 2008 with the musical drama film ‘Rock On!!’ in which he also showcased his singing talent and lent his voice to the super hit tracks of the film like ‘Socha Hai’, ‘Pichle Saat Dino Mein’ and the title track of the film and received a lot of appreciation for his performance.

‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ co-star Priyanka Chopra dropped her picture with Farhan along with a caption, “Happy Birthday @faroutakhtar Have an amazing day.”

In the picture, Priyanka is seen wearing a red dress and the birthday boy is in a grey set with a pink t-shirt.

Another Farhan’s ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ co-star Anushka Sharma also shared a solo picture of the actor with a birthday wish. She wrote, “Happy Birthday Farhan! Wishing You Love And Light Always.”

Actor Dia Mirza dropped a rocking picture of Farhan with the ‘Rock On’ song in the backdrop.

“Happy Birthday Farhan! Keep doing everything that gives you joy. You inspire,” she captioned it.

Actor Sonam Kapoor shared a still from their movie ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ along with a caption, “Happy happy birthday. Lots of Love.”

Helmed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ was based on the life of Indian athlete Milkha Singh and was declared a blockbuster hit.

Rakul Preet Singh also extended birthday wishes. She wrote, “Happy Birthday Farhan.”

Since making his directorial debut with the film ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ in the year 2001 the audience has seen Farhan Akhtar in different shades.

He will be getting back to the director’s chair after almost 11 years with an upcoming female-oriented road trip film ‘Jee Le Zara’ which will feature Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. He announced the film in 2021.

The actor-singer took to Instagram to share how proud he is as a father! Farhan shared a clip on Instagram wherein his daughter Akira could be seen singing a song with a band and it’s the cutest thing on the internet!
Akira, in the video, could be seen performing on Tori Kelly’s hit number ‘Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing’. Sharing the video on social media, Farhan wrote, “You’ve come a long way, Akira Akhtar .. keep going …the world is your oyster. Shannon Donald big hug (you know why). Apart from acting and producing films, Farhan is also an accomplished singer. Just a few days ago, he took to Instagram to share a video of him performing for the Indie rock band ‘Parikrama’. As far as films are concerned, Farhan Akhtar made his Hollywood debut with ‘Ms. Marvel’. The show introduced Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, aka the titular character, who is a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. An avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a superhero mega-fan with an oversized imagination — particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel.

‘Ms Marvel’ received positive feedback from the netizens.

Farhan was last seen in a sports drama film ‘Toofan’ alongside Mrunal Thakur and Paresh Rawal which streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video and received mixed reviews from the audience.

Priyanka Calls Hasan Minhaj Petty As She Extends Support To Malala

Priyanka Chopra has extended her support to Malala Yousufzai in her Instagram feud with Indian-American comedian Hasan Minhaj.

Priyanka took to Instagram to show her followers that she doesn’t follow Hasan back on Instagram. Along with the screenshot, Priyanka wrote a message for Malala – “Same girl same @malala Looks like he prefers petty over funny,” and tagged Hasan Minhaj, and Nick Jonas on the story.
Recently, Malala unfollowed Hasan Minhaj on Instagram. This comes as a retaliatory action against Hasan who recently revealed that he doesn’t follow Malala on the application even though she does.

So, what really happened between Malala and Hasan Minhaj?

A while ago, Malala took to her Instagram story and shared a reel wherein Hasan can be heard saying, “All right, s**t’s gotten out of hand. On October 4th I made a joke about Nobel Peace Prize Winner Malala Yousafzai. I said she follows me on Instagram and I don’t follow her back. Then on October 5th, she retaliated. She puts up an Instagram story that says ‘Should I unfollow Hasan Minhaj? 39% of her voters said ‘Who is this man?’ 38% of them said ‘Yes.’ Instead of doing a runoff, she unfollowed me on Instagram. Then Malala wrote a message with the reel – “thanks to everyone who sent me this video because I no longer follow this man.”

And, soon after, Priyanka Chopra came in support of Malala and shared a screenshot showing that even she doesn’t follow Hasan back on Instagram!

Priyanka and Malala are considered to be close. Recently, the two met in New York during the UNGA meeting. They even dined together in Priyanka’s restaurant ‘Sona’ later on.

Moving on to Priyanka’s work front, Priyanka will be seen in international projects such as ‘It’s All Coming Back To Me, and the series ‘Citadel’. Produced by Russo Brothers, ‘Citadel’ will hit the OTT on Prime Video. The upcoming sci-fi drama series is being directed by Patrick Morgan and stars Richard Madden alongside Priyanka.
