Kartik Begins Shooting For Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

Kartik Aaryan is all set to return as the famous ‘Rooh Baba’ in the upcoming horror comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and he finally commenced shooting for the “biggest film” of his career.

Kartik took to Instagram and shared a picture of himself while seeking God’s blessings before shooting.

Sharing the photo, he wrote, “Starting The Biggest Film Of My Career Today #Shubharambh #BhoolBhulaiyaa3.”

As soon as the picture was shared, fans and industry members wished the actor the best of luck.

Ronit Roy wrote, “All the best.”

One of the users wrote, “Surely Ruhu Baba will once again spread his magic on the big screen this time.”

Another user commented, “Can’t wait to see Rooh Baba return on Diwali..i sure this Diwali theatre will turn into a stadium.”

Recently, makers welcomed Vidya Balan on board.

Vidya Balan, who essayed the role of Manjulika in the 2007 psychological horror-comedy film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, is all set to return to the franchise.

Kartik also welcomed Vidya on board.

“And its happening. Og Manjulika is coming back to the world of BhoolBhulaiyaa. Super thrilled to welcome @balanvidya. This Diwali is going to be crackling #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 @aneesbazmee @tseries.official #BhushanKumar,” he wrote.

Kartik also dropped an edited video showing Vidya’s iconic visuals as Manjulika from the first installment combined with visuals of Kartik from the second part.

Anees Bazmee, who directed the second part, will direct the third part as well. The first part was helmed by Priyadarshan and featured Akshay Kumar alongside Vidya.

In the second part, Kartik shared screen space with Tabu and Kiara Advani.

On expanding the franchise, producer Bhushan Kumar said, “The ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ franchise holds a special place in our hearts, and I’m very happy to be taking it forward with a creative mind like Anees and an incredible talent like Kartik. Together, we are set to deliver a cinematic experience that will both honor the legacy of the franchise and bring double the laughter and thrill for the audience.”

‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ will be released this Diwali.

Apart from this, Kartik recently wrapped up shooting for his upcoming film ‘Chandu Champion’.

Helmed by Kabir Khan, ‘Chandu Champion’ is based on the extraordinary real-life story of a sportsman and his spirit of never giving up. Kartik will portray the character of Chandu.’Chandu Champion’ marks Kartik’s first collaboration with director Kabir Khan.

Apart from that, Kartik will also be seen in director Hansal Mehta’s upcoming film ‘Captain India’ and director Anurag Basu’s next ‘Aashiqui 3’. (ANI)

Kartik Heads To Australia For IFFM 2023

Kartik Aaryan is basking in the success of his recent release ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’. The actor has won audiences’ hearts with his character of Sattu as it resonates with everyone effortlessly. Now, he is all set to be honoured with ‘The Rising Global Superstar of Indian Cinema’ award at the 14th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.

Taking to his Instagram, Kartik shared a selfie video from his way to Australia and informed that he is going to attend a screening of ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ with the fans there.

Sharing the video, he wrote, “See you Austraaaaliaaa 🇦🇺@iffmelbourne.”

Recently, the actor was spotted at the airport on his way to the Australia Film Festival, where he will be honoured by the Governor of Victoria for his accomplishments.

It’s the first time, Kartik has visited Australia.

IFFM will also showcase multiple screenings of Kartik’s films including ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, which emerged as one of the biggest hits of 2022.

Earlier, speaking about the same, Kartik said in a statement, “I am deeply honoured and grateful to the Victorian Government and the festival for this prestigious award and humbled to be celebrated at the 14th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. It is a tremendous privilege to receive this recognition for my work in Indian cinema. I have always believed in the power of storytelling and the ability of films to touch hearts and inspire minds. I look forward to celebrating the magic of cinema together.”

The 14th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne will take place from August 11 to August 20.

Meanwhile, Kartik will be seen in Kabir Khan’s directorial ‘Chandu Champion’.

The film is all set to hit the theatres on June 14, 2024. 

‘Chandu Champion’ marks Kartik’s first collaboration with director Kabir Khan.

The film was earlier titled ‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha,’ which translates to the story of Satyanarayan, which is another name for the Hindu God Vishnu. However, after backlash, it was renamed ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’.

The film was released in the theatres today.

The film introduced Kartik as SatyaPrem and Kiara as Katha. Kartik is seen pursuing Kiara for marriage as he tries to impress her. The duo gets married. After that, Kiara and Kartik have many difficult experiences together.

‘Satya Prem Ki Katha’ is a progressive film and has a message for its viewers.

Originally sung by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill, Pasoori was the most-searched song on Google in 2022.

Amid heavy rainfall, actors Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani on Monday arrived at a cinema hall in Mumbai to promote their upcoming romantic film ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’.

The duo was seen twinning in green outfits and was seen interacting with fans gathered outside the theatre.
The ‘Freddy’ actor donned a green t-shirt under a dark-green shirt paired with blue jeans. Kiara, on the other hand, wore a green body con dress. She kept her hair open and makeup heavy.

On Monday, the makers also unveiled the new track of the filmn ‘Pasoori Nu’ which is a remake of the song ‘Pasoori’, sung by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill. It was the most-searched song on Google in 2022.

Singer Arijit Singh sang the new version which received mixed responses from the audience.

On Sunday, the ‘Shehzada’ actor dropped another cute video with Katori and his fans just can’t stop themselves from praising the adorable duo.

No visit to Punjab is complete without hitting a roadside dhaba and gorging on “desi food”. Actor Kartik Aaryan did not miss this chance during his recent work trip to Punjab.

On Saturday, Kartik took to Instagram and shared a few pictures. In the pictures, he can be seen holding a hot glass of chai.

In another image, he gave a close-up of paranthas loaded with butter. He also dropped a picture of himself eating sugarcane.

Kartik visited Punjab along with actress Kriti Sanon for the trailer launch of their film ‘Shehzada. The duo also celebrated Lohri there.

The ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ star posted a video of his first Lohri celebrations in the land of five rivers. In the clip, Kartik and Kriti can be seen dancing to the tunes of dhol.

The ‘Luka Chuppi’ actor also reposted the statement on his official Instagram account, which said the title was changed to avoid hurting any sentiments, even if purely unintentional.

Kartik will be also seen in ‘Shehzada’ opposite Kriti Sanon. The film is helmed by David Dhawan’s son Rohit Dhawan and is slated to release on February 10, 2023.

Gwalior Boy, Kartik Turns 32

Bollywood’s new favourite star Kartik Aaryan, who ringed into his 32nd birthday on Tuesday, has gradually carved a separate niche for himself in the film industry but it has not a path laid with flowers for him.

There is a famous dialogue from Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Om Shanti Om’ which goes, “Kehte hain agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho, to puri kayanat usse tumse milane ki koshish mein lagg jaati hai.”
This dialogue holds true for Kartik because no one could have imagined that a boy from Gwalior, who came to the city of dreams, Mumbai, to pursue his engineering degree while secretly harbouring ambitions for a film career, will one day become one of the most sought after Bollywood stars.

Though he had started with his engineering degree, Kartik used to skip classes and travel for hours to attend movie auditions with the dream of one day becoming an actor.

It was in 2011, while still in his third year of college, Kartik made his acting debut with Luv Ranjan’s buddy film ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, and his character’s four-minute monologue, which was one of the lengthiest single shots done for a Hindi film to that point, became a hit with clips of that scene going viral on the internet.

Following that, his second release was ‘Akaash Vani’, which dealt with the sensitive topic of marital rape but did not do commercially well.

He also did ‘Kaanchi: The Unbreakable’ and that too had a similar fate; however, it was ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ that once again made the actor re-emerge and with a couple of duds after that Kartik finally got his big break with ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ which gave him nationwide fame and it has been no looking back from there.

He continued to climb the ladder of success with films like ‘Luka Chuppi’, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ and ‘Dhamaka’ among others.

Being an outsider, it is no secret that Kartik made it big in the industry without any Godfather and his last release ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ has only further boosted his path to superstardom.

Apart from his screen presence, Kartik might be one the most real celebrities one might ever come across. While promoting his film, or heading out in the city, he makes it a point to engage with his fans.

Hera Pheri 3: Will Fans Accept Kartik As Raju?

After the announcement of Kartik Aaryan to be the new face of the hit comedy franchise ‘Hera Pheri’, the fans of the blockbuster film expressed their disappointment.

On Friday, veteran actor Paresh Rawal, the main face of ‘Hera Pheri’, took to Twitter and confirmed that Kartik is a new addition to the cast.
A fan on Twitter asked a question by tagging Paresh Rawal, “@Sir PareshRawal sir, is it true that Kartik Aaryan is doing Hera Pheri 3??” To which, Paresh tweeted, “Yes it is true.”

After the news, hardcore fans of Raju a.k.a Akshay Kumar in Here Pheri flooded Twitter with their comments.

Reportedly, Akshay Kumar has stepped away from the franchise due to no clarity in the script.

Directed by Priyadarshan, ‘Hera Pheri’ was released in 2000. It featured Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Tabu in the lead roles. The second part, which came out in 2006, was directed by the late Neeraj Vora. It featured Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, Bipasha Basu, Rajpal Yadav and Rimi Sen in the lead roles.

Earlier Abhishek was also roped in to play one of the main characters in ‘Hera Pheri 3’. However, due to certain reasons, he quit the project. Official confirmation from Kartik and ‘Hera Pheri 3’ makers is still awaited.

Not only ‘Aashiqui 3’ but he will also feature in the third part of the hit comedy franchise ‘Hera Pheri’.

Kartik will also be seen in ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ which marks the second collaboration of Kartik and Kiara after their blockbuster hit horror comedy film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’.

He will be sharing the screen space with Alaya F in ‘Freddy’. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the film is touted to be a romantic thriller. He also has Hansal Mehta’s ‘Captain India’ in his kitty. Bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala and Harman Baweja, the film revolves around India’s most successful rescue operations from a war-torn country.
