SRK Admits Feeling Nervous On Returning After Four Years

2023 has been a great year for all the SRK fans, as the Superstar after a long hiatus of 4 years released three films ‘Pathaan’, ‘Jawan’ and lastly ‘Dunki’ which have all set records at the box office.

On Monday, at a special fan meet and greet event in Mumbai, the ‘Don’ actor expressed gratitude towards his fans for showering the love they have bestowed upon him.

Taking to X, Shah Rukh Khan Universe Fan Club shared a video in which King Khan said, “Because I have been working for 33 years and you take such a big gap. Normally you do feel a little nervous and you feel ki ‘arrey yaar! I hope I have got the film right’.”

As per a source close to the team of ‘Dunki’, the makers might hold a special screening for the UK government.

“Since Dunki narrates the story of illegal immigrants who take the Donkey route to enter the cross borders, the UK government has found it to be a relevant subject in today’s time. The film has received tremendous love from the UK audience, as not only it talks about an important issue but also highlights the dangerous Dunki route, and hence now the government is also keen to watch the film,” the source-based statement read.

Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, ‘Dunki’ features Shah Rukh alongside Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar and Anil Grover.

‘Dunki’ focuses on the issue of immigration. Its title is taken from the term “donkey journey”, which refers to the long-winding, often dangerous routes that people across the world take to reach the places they want to immigrate to.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday won his fans’ hearts as he patiently waited for the security check at the Mumbai airport.

SRK arrived at the airport premises along with his manager Pooja Dadlani.

Several pictures and videos of the actor surfaced on social media in which he could be seen donning an all-black outfit.

He wore a black jacket paired with black pants and accessorized his look with black shades and a hair band.

In a new viral video, SRK could be seen waiting patiently for the security check at the airport.

An event by the Hyundai brand with an initiative supporting people with disability in India.

Not only he impressed everyone with his look but also gave a motivational speech for Para-athletes at an event.

Speaking at the launch of the new Initiative, Mr. Shah Rukh Khan, said, “Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF) (CSR arm of Hyundai Motor India) in partnership with GoSports Foundation, a 15-year-old national award-winning foundation, are starting an exclusive programme to provide holistic support to para-athletes in India towards the quest for Paralympics. The programme will support a mix of emerging & elite athletes in both team events and individual sports to promote equity for the community of people with disabilities, foster a culture of innovation, upskill through vocational education, and positively impact the para-sports ecosystem to inspire the nation.

Meanwhile, on the work front, SRK is all set to come up with his upcoming drama film ‘Dunki.’

On Tuesday, the makers announced the film’s first song, ‘Lutt Putt Gaya,’ release date.

SRK took to X to reveal the release date of the first song from ‘Dunki,’ ‘Lutt Putt Gaya,’ which he captioned, “Tere Dil Mein Tent Lagaunga Tere Ishq mein Goteh Khaunga Main toh gaya… Lutt Putt Gaya 30 days to the journey of Love… #Dunki. #DunkiDrop2 – #LuttPuttGaya song out tomorrow!”

The song is set to be released tomorrow, November 22.

In the picture, SRK could be seen walking behind his co-star Taapsee Pannu in a crowded market.

Earlier, King Khan on the occasion of his 58th birthday, treated his fans with the first glimpse of the film.

Titled ‘Dunki Drop 1’ SRK shared the clip on his Instagram account which he captioned, “A story of simple and real people trying to fulfil their dreams and desires. SRK, Salman Attend Ganpati Puja At Shinde’s Residence

Superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan on Sunday night paid a visit to Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s home to attend Ganpati puja.

Several images and videos from the puja circulated online. SRK was accompanied by his manager Pooja Dadlani. On the other hand, Salman came along with his sister Aprita and brother-in-law Aayush Sharma. 

Both SRK and Salman posed with the CM and shared warm greetings. 

The Khans stole everyone’s attention with their ethnic look. SRK came for the puja wearing a blue color Pathaani suit. Salman wore a red kurta.

Other B-town members including Jackie Shroff, Arjun Rampal, Asha Bhosle, Boney Kapoor and Rashami Desai also attended Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Eknath Shinde‘s house.

Recently SRK also sought the blessings of Lord Ganesha at the famous Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai along with his younger son AbRam.

Meanwhile, on the work front, SRK is currently enjoying the grand success of his recently released action thriller film ‘Jawan’.

Post the success of the movie, the makers held a press conference in Mumbai a few days ago.The event was attended by SRK, Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, and Atlee.

Sharing his excitement for the success of the movie Shah Rukh Khan said, “It’s a celebration. We rarely get a chance to live with a film for years. The making of Jawan has been going on for four years due to Covid and time constraints. There were a lot of people involved in this film, especially people from the South who came and settled in Mumbai and have been living in Mumbai for the last four years and working day and night for this film, which is the hardest work ever.”

Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Lehar Khan, Girija Oak and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya bring depth and strength to the characters in the film Jawan, which is directed by Atlee.

SRK also confirmed the release date of his upcoming movie ‘Dunki’ at the success event of ‘Jawan’.He said, “We started on January 26, Republic Day (with Pathaan), then on Janmashtami we released Jawan, now New Year and Christmas are round the corner, we will release ‘Dunki’. I keep National integration. Anyway, when my film is released, it is Eid.”

Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film also stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. ‘Dunki’ marks the first collaboration of the ‘Chak De India’ actor with ‘3 Idiots’ fame director Hirani and ‘Pink’ actor Taapsee.

Salman is gearing up for the release of ‘Tiger 3’, which will hit the theatres this Diwali. The film also has Katrina Kaif. In October, Salman will be seen hosting the 17th season of ‘Bigg Boss’. (ANI)

‘Always A Pleasure’: SRK on Working With Deepika Padukone

Actor Shah Rukh Khan on Friday shared his experience of working once again with Deepika Padukone in the action thriller film ‘Jawan’.

Apart from ‘Jawan’, SRK and Deepika have previously worked together in films like ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Chennai Express’, ‘Happy New Year’ and ‘Pathaan’. They were also seen together in ‘Billu’ and ‘Zero’ in which Deepika had a special cameo.

SRK on Friday conducted his famous #AskSRK session on X (formerly known as Twitter) where he answered several fans’ questions.

During the session, a user asked him, “How was it being on set with Deepika for the 7th time?”

To which SRK responded, “It’s always a pleasure and happiness working with her.”

Deepika and SRK’s chemistry in the film ‘Jawan’ received a lot of appreciation from the audience.

During the #AskSRK session, a user also asked SRK what was his son AbRam’s reaction after watching ‘Jawan’? to which he replied, “Baap Baap hota hai..!! No no just joking. He loved the fight with the Big guy….he loved it in the climax. #Jawan.”

Another user asked the ‘Chak De India’ actor which of his characters Vikram and Aazad he loved the most in ‘Jawan’?

SRK responded, “Arre how to choose. I loved the fact that they both hug warmly even when they do to each other and kiss when they hug. #Jawan.”

Meanwhile, talking about ‘Jawan’, the film received massive responses from the audience and has become the fourth highest-grossing Hindi film.

On Thursday, the film minted Rs 7.25 crores which took the film’s total India collection to Rs 473.44 crores.

Helmed by Atlee, the film also starred Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.

SRK Credits Gauri To Teach Dignity To All Kids

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan are one of the most celebrated rock-solid couples in B-town.

Gauri shared a video and her daughter’s picture from the event and wrote, “The first event I ever attended with @iamsrk was a book launch… and now watching Suhana speak at another such event has made me feel like life has come full circle!”

Reacting to Gauri’s tweet SRK gave credit to his wife to educate, teach dignity and desire to share love to all three kids.

He wrote, “Yeah the circle of life is closing in for us with our babies helping us complete it. You’ve done so well with the three of them…educated them, taught them dignity & desire to share love…& Suhana is so articulate but the dimple is mine!!”

As it’s Valentine’s Day today, one of the netizens asked SRK to reveal his first gift to Gauri on their first Valentine’s Day.

Shah Rukh first met Gauri in 1984, when he was all of 18, while Gauri was just 14. He bumped into her at a party where she was dancing with her friend. After Gauri spoke to him for ‘more than three seconds’, he felt ‘encouraged’ and wanted to date Gauri.

After dating for a couple of years, the two tied the knot on October 25, 1991.

Six years after their wedding, Gauri and Shah Rukh welcomed their first son, Aryan Khan, on November 13. Shah Rukh and Gauri’s daughter Suhana Khan was born on May 22, 2000, while their youngest, son AbRam Khan, was born on May 27, 2013, via surrogacy. (ANI)

Actors Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt, who worked together in ‘Dear Zindagi’ in 2016, share a great bond.

Whenever they get a chance to talk about each other in public, the two always have good things to say. The stars’ fun banter on Twitter is proof of this fact.
After a long time, Alia and SRK interacted on Twitter during the latter’s #AskSRK session on Wednesday.

A social media user asked SRK why does Alia call him SR. The user’s question caught SRK’s attention and he replied, “Could mean sweet and romantic or maybe senior and respected or maybe just shah rukh.”

Alia was quick to respond as she clarified what she means when she calls the Badshah of Bollywood ‘SR’.

She tweeted, “More like sweet and respected …But from 25th Jan I’m going to switch to calling you Pathaan. See I’m so creative na.”

To Alia’s tweet, SRK gave a cute response. He called the new mommy in town Alia Bhatt “Lil Amma Bhatt Kapoor.”

“Done Lil one. And I am now going to call u Lil Amma Bhatt Kapoor,” he responded.

Apart from ‘Dear Zindagi’, Alia and SRK also have worked together on ‘Darlings’, which was released on Netflix in 2022. Alia co-produced the film with Shah Rukh.

However, ‘King Khan’ humbly answered questions asking his opinion on personalities in the film industry, showering praises on some and revealing his willingness to work in films with others.

1. Ram Charan

On being asked to say ‘one word’ about ‘RRR’ actor Ram Charan, the ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ actor replied, “He is an old friend and very loving to my kids”.

2. Arijit Singh

Another user asked the Bollywood superstar about his opinion on playback singer Arijit Singh. Shah Rukh didn’t hold back on complimenting the ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’ actor.

“Arijit is a gem,” the actor wrote. He further revealed that the next song from his film ‘Pathaan’ would feature his voice, hoping that everyone would ‘like it’.

3. Ayushmann Khurrana
