Lies About CAA

Mamata, TMC Spreading Lies About CAA: Rajnath Singh

Hitting out at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for “spreading lies” regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that the legislation will ensure the safety of the persecuted minorities.

The Defence Minister held three election campaign meetings in West Bengal, including two meetings near the Bangladesh border.

The first meeting was held in Murshidabad for Gouri Shankar Ghosh, the second meeting was held in Malda Uttar constituency for Khagen Murmu and the third meeting was held in Darjeeling for party candidate Raju Bista.

“Mamata Banerjee is spreading lies regarding CAA among the people of Bengal, especially the Muslim community,” Singh said at a public meeting in Malda, West Bengal.

“CAA will ensure safety to persecuted religious minorities of Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan as they are our people,” he added.

He also attacked CM Mamata for her remark of abolishing the CAA and said that “no power in the world” can stop this legislation.

“Mamata Didi said that she would abolish CAA. I want to ask her why she is lying to the people of West Bengal. Politics can also be done by speaking truth to the people. No state has the power to abolish CAA and no power in the world can stop CAA,” the former Uttar Pradesh CM said.

Recently, CM Mamata had urged the migrant workers in the state not to return before casting vote in the Lok Sabha elections, alleging that if they don’t vote, the BJP government will take away their citizenships.

Attacking TMC and Congress party over ‘corruption’, he said that no corruption charge has been levelled against the BJP-ruled Centre in the last 10 years.

“The leaders of TMC and Congress are deeply involved in corruption and due to this, they were put behind bars. BJP is in power for the last ten years, and not a single person can point out corruption during the tenure…The way TMC is ruling the state, there is no difference between Trinamool Congress and Congress,” Singh said.

The Defence Minister strongly condemned the Sandeshkhali incident — where several women have alleged molestation and land grabbing by TMC leaders — and said that no one will dare to repeat such an incident if BJP comes to power.

“West Bengal is known for academicians but under the current regime, criminals are prevailing here. There is an atmosphere of anarchy in the entire West Bengal. The world was ashamed over the atrocities against women in Sandeshkhali and it has dented the image of India internationally. The entire humanity is ashamed of the Sandeshkhali incident,” Singh said.

“I assure you if the BJP government is formed here, we will see who dares to repeat the incident like Sandeshkhali,” he added.

He also hailed the Women’s Reservation Bill passed by the Parliament and said that one-third reservation for women will be granted from the next election onwards.

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has held a stronghold in West Bengal. The party won 34 out of 42 seats in 2014. But in 2019, BJP showed a strong improvement winning 18 seats, while TMC’s tally came down to 22.

Voting in West Bengal is taking place across all seven phases. Polling were held in three constituencies on April 19. The counting of votes will take place on June 4. (ANI)

Shoulder Fired Missile

Indigenous Shoulder-Fired Missile Projects In Works For Army

Amid shortages in the inventory of shoulder-fired missiles to tackle aerial threats on borders with China and Pakistan, the Indian Army is progressing two cases worth over Rs 6,800 crore for developing Very Short Range Air Defence Systems indigenously.

The Army has plans of developing and buying over 500 launchers and around 3000 missiles from indigenous routes.

At the same time, the Indian Army along with the other stakeholders is looking at the possibility of an old tender scrapped earlier in which the Russian Igla-S was selected in view of the delays for finding replacement for the old Igla-1M missiles.

Defence Ministry officials said the current VSHORAD missiles in the inventory of the Indian Army and Indian Air Force are all with lR homing guidance systems and the Igla 1M VSHORAD missile system was inducted in 1989 and was planned for de-induction in 2013.

“At present, there is a Rs 4800 crore project in which a public sector unit headquartered in Hyderabad and a private sector Pune-based firm have been engaged for developing a laser beam riding VSHORADS which would be used by the forces to protect the borders to provide protection from enemy drones, fighter aircraft and choppers,” defence forces’ officials told ANI.

The project would be for developing 200 launchers and 1200 missiles for supplying to the Indian Army and Air Force and the lead in the project is the Indian Army which is the biggest user of these missiles, they said.

Of the 1200 missiles planned to be inducted in the project, it is likely to get 700 while the remaining would be for the IAF.

The two firms have to produce the prototype of the system under the Indian Designed, Developed and Manufactured clause of the Defence Acquisition Procedure, they said.

However, industry sources informed that the progress made in this programme has not been very encouraging. Another programme that is being progressed is the Design and Development project being carried out by the DRDO for making an infra-red homing-based VSHORADS.

The DRDO is working with two of its Development cum Production Partners Adani Defence and I-Comm for producing Laser Beam Riding VSHORADS.

The DRDO has tested the system based on a tripod and they are now expected to miniaturise the system for making it a shoulder-fired weapon system, the officials said.

In the meanwhile, the Indian Army and the Air Force used the Emergency Procurement powers to buy around 96 launchers of the Russian Igla of which 48 have already arrived as part of the first tranche of the orders given in EP-1 while 48 are expected to be delivered in near future.

In this meanwhile, there is also a suggestion to revive the contract which was scrapped almost over five years ago in which the Russian side had emerged as the lowest bidder with its Igla-S system on offer.

The stakeholders in the project are expected to meet soon to find out ways of carrying out the project under ‘Make in India‘.

The project scrapped by the Defence Ministry was expected to be worth around Rs 4,800 crore.

The importance and the versatility of”VSHORAD missiles have been regularly proved in battle including the recent Russia-Ukraine conflict, Defence Ministry officials stated.

The Indian forces have been progressing the cases for replacing their old VSHORADS system. (ANI)

Ananya Roots for KKR

Ananya Panday Roots For KKR Against RCB In IPL Match

Actor Ananya Panday is an avid Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) supporter. Despite being busy at work, the young artiste did manage to take some time off her schedule to watch the ongoing IPL match of KKR against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Taking to Instagram Story, Ananya panday dropped a video of her watching the match on the phone as she got ready for her shoot.

“The commitment is real…even at work @kkriders,” she captioned the clip.

In the video, she could be seen making a finger-crossed gesture.

RCB skipper Faf du Plessis won the toss and opted to bowl against KKR in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 match here at the Eden Gardens on Sunday.

The last time these two sides faced each other, KKR got the better of RCB and clinched a comfortable victory at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. KKR have bettered their record in the last game as they hold a handsome 19-14 record in the 33 games played against RCB in head-to-head.

Speaking at toss, RCB captain Faf said, “We will chase. This is probably a chasing ground, always has been. I’m a fan of abetting first when it’s really hot, but the temperature did drop after an hour or so yesterday, unlike in Mumbai or Chennai where it stays very hot. The batting is so strong that a general score or 60-70 isn’t considered great. We have three changes – Green and Siraj come back, so does Mayank Dagar. We know if we do a few things back, the momentum can be back and we do have the firepower.”

KKR captain Shreyas Iyer said, “Last afternoon game here, we know how the wicket plays, we would have loved to bowl as well. It’s stiflingly hot and we’ll look to make them as tired as possible. We’ve tried to keep things simple, it’s not about how you start, it’s about how you end, just stick to the basics. We are playing the same team. It’s important to assess the conditions and execute our plans, then it’ll go in our favour.”

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (Playing XI): Faf du Plessis(c), Virat Kohli, Will Jacks, Rajat Patidar, Cameron Green, Dinesh Karthik(w), Mahipal Lomror, Karn Sharma, Lockie Ferguson, Yash Dayal and Mohammed Siraj.

Kolkata Knight Riders (Playing XI): Philip Salt(w), Sunil Narine, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Shreyas Iyer(c), Venkatesh Iyer, Andre Russell, Rinku Singh, Ramandeep Singh, Mitchell Starc, Varun Chakaravarthy, Harshit Rana. (ANI)

Rahul As Leader of Opposition

Rahul Gandhi Is At The Last Chance Saloon And It’s Not Looking Good

The Economist, the British publication that is often described as a weekly newspaper published in a printed magazine format, appears to have a soft spot for Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Indian National Congress and the scion of the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty that runs that political party. A few days before the first phase of India’s gargantuan parliamentary elections was held, the publication joined Gandhi on his campaign trail and ran a piece that tacitly implied that Gandhi, 53, who holds no official position in his party, had got his mojo back.

The piece did list the main challenges that the Congress faces: the lack of an ideological alternative to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dominant and seemingly unstoppable Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) whose amalgam of Hindutva and economic development has proved to be a successful electoral recipe; the lack of organisational discipline in the Congress; and Gandhi’s own lack of experience–he has never run a state nor a central ministry.

Yet the Economist’s piece on Gandhi was hopeful–a contrarian view from what many others think of him–and concluded that if the Congress had to reverse its decline, Gandhi would have to step up or step aside.

Gandhi actually has had more chances than any political leader is usually lucky to get. He has led the party’s defeat in two parliamentary elections, in 2014 and 2019; he has seen the number of seats that his party along with its allies have won plummet to just 52 out of 543; and has seen it lose several state elections–the Congress now rules in just three out of India’s 28 states.

Yet, it is a silly season that is underway in Indian politics–six more phases of elections will be held and no exit polls will be allowed till the last vote is cast on June 1–and all manner of speculation, some of it nonsensical, abounds. A few days before the first phase of elections was held, the prominent Congress leader, Jairam Ramesh, 70, commenting on a quote of Prime Minister Modi, posted on X: “A pathological liar who plumbs new depths of lies every day. Just two more months, though, of this man as PM.”

The Congress and its supporters have been circulating various prophecies, including a now-deleted opinion poll that suggests the Congress-led big-tent alliance of 41 opposition pirates would get more seats than the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance. On their part, Modi and the NDA have made no bones of their expectation that they would win 400 seats or more in the ongoing elections, which, if it happens, would mean a massive 74% majority.

The BJP’s confidence shows. When the first phase of elections ended last Friday evening, Modi, who with 97.3 million followers is the 7th most popular on X (former US President Barack Obama is the only politician who has more, while another ex-Prez Donald Trump has less), posted: “Getting EXCELLENT feedback from today’s voting. It’s clear that people across India are voting for NDA in record numbers.”

Everyone, including the media in India, political commentators, and international media publications (who are more critical of Modi and his regime than their Indian counterparts), has by and large concluded  that a third term for Modi as Prime Minister and a huge mandate for his party and its allies is all but assured and that the only matter of interest is how many seats they get when the results are declared on June 4–more than the 346 that they now have or less.

Gandhi And His Team’s Third Test

Let us assume that the prevalent view that Modi will be reelected as Prime Minister for the third time comes true. What about the Congress? After his party’s dismal showing in 2014 and 2019, this year’s election is a crucial test for Gandhi. The Congress could end up with either more seats than the paltry 52 that it currently has in Parliament, or less. What would those scenarios mean for the scion of a party that was once the dominant political organisation in India and one that has its roots in the first nationalist movement to emerge in the British Empire. The Congress was formed in 1885, which makes it 139 years old. For 48 years, or nearly half a century after Independence in 1947, the party has helmed India’s government and for many years it also ruled in most of India’s states.

But its decline has been swift and shocking. In 2014, the Modi-led NDA first dealt it a blow (the Congress that year won just 44 seats); in 2019, it was a repeat. If 2014 was a wake-up call, 2019, was a plaintive cry for survival.

Yet, on the face of it, the party’s leadership did little. Yes, Gandhi himself sort of took the blame for the electoral debacle, resigning as party president in 2019,  and refusing to remain in any official position in the party. His mother, Sonia Gandhi, widow of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, continued as interim president of the party before a veteran leader, Mallikarjun Kharge, who is 81, was appointed as president in 2022.

Publicly Congress leaders would like to describe Kharge’s appointment as a demonstration of non-dynastic meritocracy in the Congress but, in private, they scoff as loudly as Congress’s rivals. For everyone knows that it is still one family, the Nehru-Gandhis, which continues to call the shots in the party. In other words, it is Gandhi, his mother who is 77 and in indifferent health, and his sister, Priyanka, 52, who is a general secretary of the party, who control everything in the party. Every other leader in the party has to be subservient to the family. Or else they have to leave.

Many have. In significant droves. Since 2014, several promising Congress leaders, some of them young, enthusiastic and credited with the potential to turnaround the fortunes of the party have ditched it. Their reasons for leaving are simple: the way the party is controlled by the family. Many of them have joined the BJP, which has become a kind of equal-opportunity recruiter of political talent from across the spectrum of opposition parties. If an opposition politician has the heft to get votes, the BJP’s doors are open for him or her.

The situation is so grave for Congress that besides some old-timers, many of whom are at the terminal stages of their political careers, there are few who remain that can revive the party. When the results of the ongoing elections come out in June, for Gandhi and his family it could be the last chance to do something about an organisation that is sliding in a spectacular political avalanche. Or, would it be too late?

Stepping Aside Could Be the Only Option

A third electoral debacle would be severely humiliating for Gandhi but catastrophic for his party. He is the main challenger to Modi and seen as the real leader of his party–whether or not he has an official post in Congress is irrelevant.

If, in the first scenario, the Congress ends up with, say, 50-100 seats this time, what should Gandhi do? A charitable suggestion is that he should step aside from all party work and, although it depends on his personal choice, probably from politics altogether. Indians looking at Gandhi’s track record would have had enough of him and even those who support his party would probably not want him around anymore. If he or his party would like him to continue even after another electoral drubbing, he would be a parodistic personality inviting rebuke rather than respect. Not an image that anyone would cherish for himself.

There is, of course, a second scenario. Let’s assume hypothetically that the opposition’s Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) flies in the face of prevailing public perception and wins the elections (caveat: I said “hypothetically”!).

INDIA is made up of 41 parties but is chaired by the Congress president Kharge. Besides the Congress, the constituent parties in the alliance include smaller national parties, communist parties, and several regional parties from different states, including those representing minorities such as Muslims, discriminated castes, and tribals.

It is a sort of hodge-podge of parties from across the ideological spectrum that lies outside the bounds of the BJP’s Hindutva plus development plank. Formed less than a year before the ongoing elections began, already some of the original member parties have left, notably Bihar’s Janata Dal (United) led by the original convenor of the alliance, Nitish Kumar, who left to ally with the BJP.

Nevertheless, let’s assume the INDIA gets to form a government on the strength of a hypothetically higher number of seats than the NDA that it wins. Each of its constituents will wield varying degrees of power on account of the number of seats it wins and brings to the kitty. Some of them are strong in their home states and regions and can dictate terms in the formation of the government. How many of them are likely to agree to a Prime Minister from the Congress party? And even if they do, how many would vote in favour of Gandhi?

As I said, it is the silly season now, a time when speculation abounds. So let me leave you with those two questions to speculate about, purely hypothetically.

Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA)

We Got Majority In 2014, 2019, Abolish 370, Build Ram Mandir, Implement CAA: Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Saturday that the people gave BJP full majority in 2014 and 2019 election, and they used that to abolish Article 370, build Ram Mandir, implement CAA and give 33 per cent reservation to women in Lok Sabha and state assemblies.

Addressing the Vijay Sankalp Mahasammelan here today, Amit Shah said, “You gave us full majority in 2014 and 2019, we used the majority to abolish 370, build the temple at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, implement CAA and give 33% reservation to women in Lok Sabha and Assemblies.”

“If you had voted for Congress in 2019, Kota would have become the house of PFI. You voted for PM Modi and he ended PFI and put them behind bars. They say that they will lift the ban on PFI. Congress is an anti-development party. For five years there was Gehlot-government but they did not let the Eastern Rajasthan Canal project move ahead for five years. After the Bhajanlal Sharma government came to power, within three months we signed the agreement for the Eastern Rajasthan Canal project,” Shah added.

Further, the Home Minister slammed Congress and said that the first phase of elections concluded, on Friday and on all the seats Congress has been wiped off.

“When we talk about crossing 400, Congress gets stomach ache. They are spreading lies that if BJP gets 400 seats then they will end the reservation. Modi ji gave Rs 20 thousand crore to 87 lakh farmers in Rajasthan as Kisan Samman Nidhi. Made 3 lakh lakhpati didi. Tap water was supplied to the homes of 51 lakh poor people. 2 crore people were given the benefit of Ayushman Bharat scheme. Work was done to build toilets in the houses of 86 lakh poor people. Congress is an anti-development party,” Amit Shah said further.

The remaining 13 seats in Rajasthan will be contested in the second phase on April 26.

The remaining phases will be held on May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25 and June 1 accordingly. The last general elections in 2019 were also held in seven phases.

In 2019, BJP registered a sweeping victory winning 24 out of 25 seats, while the remaining one seat was won by Rashtriya Loktrantrik Party Candidate Hanuman Beniwal. (ANI)

Newly Enacted Criminal Laws Transitioned India’s Legal Framework Into New Age: CJI Chandrachud

The Chief Justice of India, Justice DY Chandrachud, on Saturday said that “the newly enacted criminal laws have transitioned India’s legal framework on criminal justice into the new age.”

Addressing a conference on India’s Criminal Justice System organised by the Ministry of Law and Justice, the CJI said that much needed improvements have been introduced to protect victim interests and carry out the investigation and prosecution of offences efficiently.

“India is set for a significant overhaul of its criminal justice system with the upcoming

implementation of three new criminal laws. The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam will replace the Indian Penal Code 1860, the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 and the Indian Evidence Act 1872, respectively. These laws signify a watershed moment for our society because no law affects the day-to-day conduct of our society like the criminal law,” he said.

Criminal law directs the moral arc of a nation. The underlying justification for the substantive provisions is the age-old harm principle, which is best summarised in the saying, ‘Your right to swing your arms ends just where the other man’s nose begins. Procedural law, which governs crimes from the state of setting the criminal process in motion to the conviction for the commission of the offence, ensures that no person is charged and subsequently convicted for offences without due process of law, he added.

While addressing the Conference on India’s Progressive Path in the Administration of the Criminal Justice System, Chandrachud said, “Our laws and their implementation are an ever-evolving area. There is no finality to any law or the manner of its implementation. However, we must be willing to embrace positive changes to meet the needs of our times.”

“I expect that with the implementation of the new criminal laws, we will discover loopholes and areas that need to be addressed. Such debates would be helpful in enhancing the efficiency of our criminal justice systems. However, the ideological framework at the heart of our analysis must be justice-oriented with a civil liberty-centric approach that balances the interests of the victim and the accused,” he added.

“Our laws need to address these concerns and obviate age-old issues like delays in examination of witnesses, conclusion of trials, overcrowding of prisons and the issue of undertrial prisoners,” he said.

The 248th Report of the Standing Committee of the Rajya Sabha on the Bharatiya Sakshya Samhita of November 10, 2023, noted that the Indian criminal justice system has struggled to keep pace with the profound technological changes our socio-economic milieu that have radically re-imagined the way in which crimes manifest in society.

The growing scope of technology and new-age crime, which use the digital landscape to create networks of collaborative units to commit crimes, cannot be pinned to investigative situations. This has presented challenges in the investigation of crimes, admission of evidence, prosecution, and delivery of justice, the CJI said.

As the distinguished American jurist Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes said in “Law in Science–Science in Law”, that “everyone instinctively recognises that in these days, the justification of a law for us cannot be found in the fact that our fathers have always followed it. It must be found in some help that the law brings towards reaching a social end that the governing power of the community has made up its mind that it wants,” said CJI.

The three laws, i.e., the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023; the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023; and the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023, replace the earlier criminal laws, namely, the Indian Penal Code 1860, the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and the Indian Evidence Act, 1872. As notified, these criminal laws are to take effect from July 1.

Other dignitaries who attended the conference includes Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of State (independent charge) for the Ministry of Law and Justice, R Venkataramani, Attorney General for India, Tushar Mehta, Solicitor General of India, Rajiv Mani, Law Secretary, Government of India, among others.

The conference aims to bring out the highlights of the three criminal laws and organise meaningful interactions through technical and question-and-answer sessions. Besides, judges of various courts, advocates, academicians, representatives of law enforcement agencies, police officials, public prosecutors, district administration officials and law students also participated in the conference. INDI Alliance Has No Leader, No Vision: Modi In Karnataka

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday lashed out at Congress and INDIA bloc, saying that opposition alliance has no leader or vision for future and their history is ridden with scams.

Addressing a rally in Chikkaballapur to boost NDA’s campaign for Lok Sabha polls in Karnataka, PM Modi said his government has worked hard and every second of his life is dedicated to the welfare of people.

“The INDI alliance even do not have a leader at present, nor they have any vision for future and their history is one of scams and that is why (people in) Chikkaballapur and Kolar are saying -abki baar Modi Sarkar,” the Prime Minister said.

Opposition parties have formed INDIA bloc to take on the Modi government in the Lok Sabha polls.

Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, whose party Janata Dal (Secular) is fighting the Lok Sabha election in alliance with the BJP, shared the stage with Prime Minister.

Deve Gowda, who had BJP symbol as other leaders on the dais, held PM Modi’s hand to reflect the solidarity between the two parties for the Lok Sabha polls.

PM Modi also said that the first phase of Lok Sabha elections, held on Friday, has gone in the favour of NDA and “Viksit Bharat”.

“The first phase of voting, has increased the excitement in the country. And I can see this excitement here too. In the first phase, voting was done in favour of the NDA and Viksit Bharat,” the PM said.

“Today I have come among all of you with my report card to seek your blessings… For you, I left no stone unturned in working hard day and night. Your dream is my resolution. Every second of my life is dedicated to you and the country. 24X7 for 2047… I just don’t make policies, I give guarantees,” he added.

PM Modi said the biggest beneficiaries of the BJP-led government are members belonging to SCs, STs, and OBCs and alleged that they were forced to live in poverty earlier.

“The biggest beneficiaries of the Modi government are SC, ST, and OBC families. In earlier governments, families from SC, ST, and OBC communities had to live in slums, they did not have access to electricity and water. They had lost all hope in the government. Your lost faith has been reinstated in the Modi government because of Modi’s guarantee. In the last 10 years, 25 crore people have come out of poverty,” PM Modi said.

“Those who were given the least importance, the ones standing last in the line, NDA government has moved them to the first place in the line. The NDA nominated a member from the SC community as the President,it also nominated a tribal woman as the President. It is our government which has developed the five places associated with Babasaheb Ambedkar as ‘Panchtirtha’,” he added.

Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka will be held in two phases on April 26 and May 7.

Congress has nominated MS Raksha Ramaiah, son of former minister MR Seetharam, from Chikkaballapur while the BJP has fielded Dr. K Sudhakar, a former health minister. (ANI)

Rahul Baba And Priyanka Take Vacation Every 3 Months

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Thursday that on one side there is Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi who take vacation abroad every three months and on the other side, is Narendra Modi who does not take leave even on Diwali.

Addressing a public meeting here today, Amit Shah exuded confidence in winning all the 25 seats in Rajasthan.

“Rajasthan is going to give all 25 seats to Modi ji for the third time by doing a hat-trick. This election is clearly divided into two camps. On one side there is Congress which committed Rs 12 lakh crore scam and on the other side there is Narendra Modi, on whom nobody can put allegations of even 25 paisa. On one side there is Rahul baba and his sister who take vacation abroad every three months and on the other side there is Narendra Modi who does not take leave even on Diwali,” he said.

“Modi ji has not taken a single leave for 23 years, being the Chief Minister and the Prime Minister. On one hand Sonia Gandhi’s agenda is to make her son PM and on the other hand Modi ji’s agenda is to make India great. Wherever I go in the entire country, slogans of Modi-Modi are raised,” Amit Shah added.

Further, listing out the achievements during his government tenure, Shah mentioned that Congress kept hanging the issue of Ram Mandir and after Modi ji became PM, the court’s decision also came and everywhere it was Jai Shri Ram.

“Congress was suppressing Article 370 for years. Modi ji ended it on August 5, 2019 and made Kashmir a part of India forever. After 500 years, Ram Lalla celebrated his birthday (Ram Navami) in his grand temple. Sonia-Manmohan’s government lasted for 10 years in which people from Pakistan used to enter the country every day and carry out bomb blasts. It happened in Uri and Pulwama also and they felt that nothing would happen this time too. Modi ji did the work of eliminating terrorism through surgical strikes and air strikes in just 10 days,” the Home Minister said.

Amit Shah also asserted that it is the Modi Guarantee that if he will become PM for the third time, they will make India the third largest economy in the world. (ANI)
