Actress Nayanthara has joined the cast of Salman Khan’s upcoming action film with director Vamshi Paidipally. The film will be produced by Dil Raju.
A day after Salman announced his new project with South director Vamshi Paidipally, the makers have announced the onboarding of Nayanthara in the film. This marks the second project of the actress in Bollywood after she made her debut with Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’ in 2023.
Sri Venkateswara Creations, the official production company, announced the arrival of Nayanthara in the film on their X handle on Tuesday.
“The Queen Arrives. The epitome of versatility and excellence NAYANTHARA joins Salman Khan-Vamshi Paidipally Film. It’s an honour to have you on board for something truly special that’s underway,” wrote Sri Venkateswara Creations.
On Monday, Salman Khan took to his Instagram handle to share a picture with director Vamshi Paidpally to announce his new project. He wrote, “Dil, Dimag, Jigar se from this April with Director Vamshi and Dil Raju.”
The film is likely to go on floors next month.
Director Vamshi Paidpally also shared the update on his Instagram, calling it an “honour” to direct Salman Khan. “Honored to collaborate with Salman Khan Sir for my next film. This One is Powered by Heart and Driven by Conviction. April. We Begin,” he wrote.
More details regarding the film have not been disclosed yet.
Meanwhile, Salman is gearing up for the release of ‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace’, which also stars Chitrangada Singh.
The film was earlier titled ‘Battle of Galwan’. Produced by Salman Khan under the Salman Khan Films banner, the movie is helmed by director Apoorva Lakhia. It is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between India and China. A teaser released in December last year offered a first look at Salman Khan in the role of an Indian Army officer. (ANI)
Ahead of the Keralan Assembly elections 2026, rubber farmers in Thiruvalla voice deep distress over falling prices, rising costs, and labour shortages, calling the crisis “existential” as political parties trade promises while livelihoods tied to the state’s “white gold” continue to deteriorate.
The crisis is no longer just financial; it is existential. With production costs skyrocketing and a volatile market leaving farmers with a meagre Rs 200 to Rs 213 per kg, the “white gold” that built Keralam’s middle class is losing its lustre.
Speaking to ANI on the sidelines of a local plantation, farmers painted a picture of a sector in terminal decline. The primary culprit? A crushing labour crisis.
“We are caught in a pincer movement,” one farmer explained. “On one side, there is an acute lack of tappers. On the other hand, the labour cost is so high that after paying the workers, we are left with nothing. The government promised incentives to bridge this gap, but the money is like a ghost; sometimes it appears, and most times it doesn’t.”
The resentment toward the political class is palpable. When asked about Rahul Gandhi’s recent high-decibel promise to hike prices to Rs 250 per kg (eventually aiming for Rs 300), the response was weary scepticism.
“We’ve heard these songs before every election. Once the booths close, the promises evaporate. While the leaders fight over whether Rs 250 is enough, the reality is that Rs 300 per kg is the absolute minimum we need just to survive,” a farmer remarked.
Perhaps the most harrowing detail of the crisis is the flight of the next generation. Driven by the “hopelessness” of the agricultural sector, the youth of Kerala are abandoning their ancestral lands.
“Our children aren’t looking at the trees; they are looking at the airport,” said another distraught farmer. “They are migrating to the Gulf, the UK, and the US in search of dignity and a living wage. We have been abandoned by the state and the Centre alike. We are a generation left behind,” another farmer added.
Anup Antony, the BJP candidate from Thiruvalla, didn’t mince words, labelling Rahul Gandhi’s price promise a “political gimmick.” Pointing to Karnataka as an example of failed Congress guarantees, Antony pitched a vision of industrialisation.
“I want to make Thiruvalla an industrial hub. My plan includes setting up a dedicated rubber manufacturing unit and facilities for paddy farmers,” Antony stated. He further distanced his party from communal politics, asserting, “We are not like Congress. We are a pro-people party following Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas.”
Meanwhile, State Health Minister and LDF candidate from Aranmula, Veena George, mounted a spirited defence of the Pinarayi Vijayan-led government. She insisted that the LDF has consistently supported farmers through various schemes, unlike the UDF.
“People of Keralam don’t take Rahul Gandhi seriously because Congress hasn’t fulfilled promises in states where they rule,” George claimed. She emphasised that her campaign rests on the “development work” achieved in the health and agricultural sectors.
Countering the LDF’s claims, Congress candidate Abin Varkey (Aranmula) alleged the current government has utterly failed to implement its plans. Varkey remained steadfast on the “Gandhi Guarantee.”
“Whatever promises Rahul Gandhi has made will be fulfilled. We did it in Karnataka, and we will do it here,” Varkey asserted, confidently predicting that the LDF would be unseated as the UDF eyes more than 100 seats in the assembly.
As the candidates trade barbs over who is “pro-people” or “pro-farmer,” the soil of Central Travancore remains thirsty for actual relief. For the farmers, the election isn’t about whether the BJP is “pro-Jamat” or if the LDF is “pro-development”–it’s about the price on the receipt at the end of the day
The polling for Keralam Assembly elections will be held in a single phase on April 9, with counting of votes scheduled for May 4.
Keralam has traditionally followed an alternating pattern of governance, switching between the Left Democratic Front (LDF) and the United Democratic Front (UDF) every five years since 1982. This trend was broken in 2021 when the LDF, led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, was re-elected for a second consecutive term.
While the LDF and the UDF are frontrunners in the polls, the BJP will attempt to make a mark after its historic win in the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation elections. (ANI)
A grand temple chariot festival (Therottam) of the Uyyakondan Thirumalai Ujjivanathar Temple, the 67th among the revered Thevara Paadal Petra Sthalams, was held with great devotion and enthusiasm, as large numbers of devotees gathered to pull the chariot amid the sounds of traditional Kailaya instruments.
The temple is historically significant as the place where Lord Shiva is believed to have restored life to Markandeya and is revered as a sacred site where the deity blesses devotees with salvation. It is one of the 274 Paadal Petra Sthalams praised in Thevaram hymns by saints Appar, Sundarar, and Thirugnanasambandar.
The Brahmotsavam festival at the temple commenced on March 23 with the ceremonial flag hoisting, followed by daily rituals and processions.
The grand chariot procession of Lord Ujjivanathar along with Goddess Anjanatchi and Balambikai was preceded by an aarti by a priest. The event was attended by representatives of the Dharumapuram Adheenam, including Masilamani Thambiran Swamigal of Mouna Madam, and special rituals were performed before the chariot pulling began.
At the heart of the celebration was the newly built wooden chariot, a structure crafted with intricate carvings and traditional artistry. Lord Ujjivanathar, along with Goddess Anjanatchi and Balambikai, was taken in procession on this newly built wooden chariot.
The devotees participated in large numbers, pulling the chariot through the streets with great fervor, accompanied by the rhythmic beats of Kailaya instruments and traditional women’s Kolattam dances.
The procession moved through the designated streets before the chariot returned to its original position, marking the conclusion of the event. The occasion marked not only a significant religious celebration but also a moment of unity, as people from nearby towns and villages gathered to witness and participate in the sacred event. (ANI)
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that India’s effective foreign policy and “unwavering unity” of citizens have kept the “situation under control” despite the global difficulties regarding energy requirements.
PM Modi also accused Congress of engaging in “divisive activities” by spreading “fear and inciting” the public in a time when the nation requires unity and solidarity.
Addressing a public gathering at Vav-Tharad in Gujarat after inaugurating multiple development projects, PM Modi said, “The situation unfolding in West Asia is having repercussions across the entire world. Difficulties regarding energy requirements–specifically diesel, petrol, and gas–have escalated globally. Yet, even amidst such a crisis, India has successfully kept the situation under control. The strength behind this success lies in the nation’s effective foreign policy and the unwavering unity of its citizens.”
PM Modi alleged that Congress wishes for the West Asia Conflict to escalate so they can “gain political advantage”.
“Today, when the nation requires unity and solidarity, Congress leaders are engaged in divisive activities. Congress is busy spreading fear and rumours. Congress is actively inciting the public. Like political vultures, Congress is waiting, hoping that troubles will escalate so that it can exploit the situation to gain political advantage,” the Prime Minister alleged.
After his address, PM Modi held a roadshow in Vav-Tharad, where hundreds of people gathered to express their support.
Earlier today, Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, addressing a rally in Kozhikode, warned that a “financial earthquake is coming” as the West Asia conflict continues to escalate.
“You know better than me what is happening in the Middle East. You know the drama that is unfolding there. A tragedy is taking place. And nobody knows where it will end, where it will go. And the people of Kerala, the people of India, are going to be directly affected. Fuel prices are going to rise. Inflation is going to go up. An earthquake, a financial earthquake, is coming,” he said.
The Congress leader questioned the NDA-led Central government and the LDF-led Kerala government’s efforts to navigate through the looming “financial earthquake”.
“What is the LDF government doing to protect you? Modi cannot do anything. He is run by Donald Trump. But what is the Kerala government doing to protect you? What is the Kerala government doing to make your life easier?” he said.
The situation escalated in West Asia after a joint US-Israel military strike on February 28 on Iranian territory resulted in the death of its Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and other senior figures, prompting a fierce response from Tehran.
As of now, reports suggest that the US is preparing plans for the possibility of extended ground operations in Iran for several weeks, as per The Washington Post.
The US has deployed additional US Troops in the West Asia region as part of efforts to maintain strategic flexibility as the war rages on in the region, with diplomatic channels working in the background to strike a deal to end it, according to the White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra offered prayers at the Golden Temple in Amritsar on Tuesday. She also participated in Seva along with other devotees.
Priyanka, who spends most of her time in the foreign soil, arrived at Golden Temple to bow her head in reverence at Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib. After paying her respects at the Guru’s abode, Chopra listened to the Gurbani Kirtan with deep devotion.
While her arrival sparked a palpable excitement among the congregation, she performed her Darshan with utmost simplicity and humility. After paying her respects at Darbar Sahib, Priyanka Chopra also participated in Seva by washing soiled utensils in the Parikrama (circumambulatory path).
Earlier, actor Priyanka Chopra shared a visually indulgent post featuring a traditional North Indian thali. The image captured a quintessential Punjabi meal, offering a glimpse into the region’s celebrated food culture. At the centre of the platter are two golden-brown Amritsari kulchas, likely stuffed with spiced potatoes or paneer and baked in a tandoor.
Accompanying them are small bowls of dal makhani and chole, staples of Punjabi cuisine, along with sides of yogurt, butter, pickled onions with green chilies. Adding to the cultural mood, the story is set to the song ‘Sohni Lagdi’ by Diljit Dosanjh.
The food post comes amid ‘The Bluff’ actor ongoing visit to India, which has already sparked curiosity among fans.On March 26, she documented her journey from New Delhi to Amritsar via a digital flight map shared on Instagram Stories.
She also posted short clips of Punjab’s lush green farmlands, filmed from her window seat. Before heading to Amritsar, the actor was spotted at the Delhi airport interacting with fans and posing for photograph.
This India visit follows her recent work on the film ‘The Bluff’ and comes ahead of her much-anticipated collaboration with filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli for the upcoming project ‘Varanasi’, which is expected to release in 2027. (ANI)
“Have you ever heard of the madman who on a bright morning lighted a lantern and ran to the market-place calling out unceasingly: “I seek God! Is the war over?
Can wars ever be over?
Will they ever stop killing children and mothers?
With a terrible economic crisis stalking the world, and the gulf economy in shambles, is this mindless war Donald Trump was trapped into by Israel and his ‘crusading aides’ – finally over?
Like the fake ceasefire and bombings in Gaza, will it go on and on, with Iran refusing to bend or crawl?
With a beleaguered Trump shifting ground on the war, first he said it will be only for four to five weeks, then, five/10 days of no attacks on power plants, after Iran said it will do a tit for tat in its already devastated neighbourhood of stooge regimes.
Then, “we have won the war” – game over. And, finally, the White House spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, said in a kind of Hegelian dialectic turned upside down, that Iran should realise that they have lost the war.
According to a Reuters report, she said, President Trump does not bluff and he is prepared to unleash hell. “Iran should not miscalculate again,” Leavitt told reporters in a press briefing. “If Iran fails to accept the reality of the current moment, if they fail to understand that they have been defeated militarily, and will continue to be, President Trump will ensure they are hit harder than they have ever been hit before,” she said.
The report stated: Iran is still reviewing a US proposal to end the war, despite an initial response that was negative, a senior Iranian official told Reuters, indicating that Tehran had so far stopped short of rejecting it outright. Talks with Iran were still under way, Leavitt said. “Talks continue. They are productive, as the president said on Monday, and they continue to be,” she added.
Talks were on before the war as well, with Oman as moderator, with Iran agreeing to the most difficult demands: no nuclear enrichment, inspection by IAEA, while US sanctions should end. Every impartial observer in the American establishment has categorically stated that there was “no imminent threat” from Iran, including Joe Kent, who recently quit as the head of the US National Counterterrorism Centre. “I cannot in good conscience support the on-going war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby,” he announced in a social media media.
The latest flip-flop is Trump is saying he is ready to end the war, and it does not matter if the Strait of Hormuz is open or shut.
Trump said in a Tweet, and he has been repeating this: The Iranian Air Force is gone. The Navy is gone. Many ships SUNK. Total OBLITERATION.
So, pray, how come US stealth aircrafts, worth billions (one shot in Saudi Arabia, experts say, will cost $700 million now), its war carriers, its military bases in the Gulf, have been destroyed? How come all airports are shut and millions stranded, including Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv? So how many oil tankers and other installations of the Gulf nations have been blown up?
How is Tel Aviv so ravaged, and also Haifa, with its nuclear installations apparently hit, and scores of its generals eliminated? One report said that the Israel army chief has said that his force is totally demoralised and weakened – that it’s just not possible to carry on. Besides, when the US is sending troops on the ground (“to die for Israel”, as is the folklore in America), why is Israel refusing to put their own troops on the ground?
Surely, with troops on the ground, the US should remember Vietnam – the two-decade war they waged against a small, poor country, so far away. The mighty US lost.
Thousands of marines, having murdered ordinary folks without impunity, as in the My Lai massacre, were trapped forever in a post-traumatic stress disorder. For an elementary lesson, Trump and Pete Hegseth should watch Coppola’s Apocalpse Now, orOliver Stone’s Platoon.
Now, if the US has won the war and if that is so, the war has indeed seen its gory end, and Iran has been decimated. Is it so?
In the last and recent 12-day war, with, again, the Israelis as the sinister plotter, Trump claimed to have bombed the hell out of the Iran nuclear reactors, after an uprising which the MOSSAD tried to manipulate. It got exposed, and eliminated thereby, while this authentic restless movement against economic hardships was compelled to fizzle out.
Come to think of it, it’s a strategy they have applied umpteen times and exactly what they are trying out in Cuba now, with no success. Sometimes they succeed, at other times they fail miserably – and it’s funny that their crusaders do not even choose to change this squeezed- out strategy.
First, prolonged, endless, terrible sanctions for decades, crippling the economy, creating mass suffering and social unrest, propelling thereby civil society protests; then arrange the diabolical entry of MOSSAD and CIA, entrenched in ‘enemy’ countries.
Soon after, starts an orchestrated media campaign — of how democracy is being restored. In Iraq it was the mythical WMDs, and in Iran it is pro-democracy ‘regime change’.
The women’s freedom card failed, with the war starting with a trademark Israeli signal: 170 school children murdered by a Tomahawk missile fired from a naval destroyer.
(The two navy officers who did it have been identified, like the IDF officers who pumped 355 bullets into six-year-old Hind Rijab’s body, trapped in a car with dead relatives in Gaza.)
Besides, if they had bombed the hell out of all the nuclear reactors in the 12-day war, what was the ‘imminent threat’ this time?
Epstein Files?
The everyday sleazy revelations of a grotesque Paedophile Establishment? With Epstein operating as a confirmed Mossad agent!
Or, was it because after getting away with yet another genocide in occupied Palestine, the “war criminal” in Tel Aviv, an international pariah, and his fanatic extreme-right cabinet, now aimed to go for its most favourite civilizational project: Greater Israel, with a ‘regime change’ in the only country in the Middle East which has refused to succumb. All they wanted is another stooge regime in Tehran.
Hence, Trump was trapped, with his Zionist son-in-law, a real estate businessman, playing the negotiator/strategist, and another Zionist white supremacist, with a crusader’s cross tattooed on his chest (Trump’s secretary of war) — pumping for war.
As if war is a mindless video game.
The fact is as long as the ‘Axis of Evil’ is around, forcible occupation, full-scale banditry, mass murders of innocents, targeted killing of school children, military or ‘peaceful coups’, assassinations of elected leaders, among other total violations of international law will continue.
The latest is the abduction of a president and his wife, in the middle of the night, from their bedroom. For this evil Axis, this has been done ad infinitum, this was normal before, and this is post-normal now, like ‘Truth Social’ — Trump’s aptly named Twitter handle.
However, the truth is that with 8 million people marching against him across America last week and his approval ratings abysmally low, a trapped Trump wants to desperately wriggle out of this war in which he and Bibi have been decisively decimated.
If anything, it has shown the world, yet again, what an Iranian propaganda video is now showing, going viral: From Vietnam to Iran and Cuba, from Nelson Mandela to Hind Rijab, from Hitler to Mussolini – when your time is up, you don’t have to hold a lantern in bright daylight to see it.
Like Neitzsche’s mad man — with a lantern in the middle of a market place, in stark daylight.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday launched an attack against Congress, accusing the party of neglecting Assam and subjecting the state to “step-motherly treatment.”
Addressing an election rally in Tezpur, NDA candidate and Asom Gana Parishad leader Prithviraj Rabha, Rajnath Singh, expressed confidence in the BJP-led alliance’s victory in the state assembly polls.
The Union Minister said, “The land of Assam is rich in both culture and nature. The aroma of Assam’s tea can be found not just in India, but worldwide. This is the land of courage and Mahanayak Lachit Borphukan. The bravehearts of Assam have sacrificed everything for the nation. Seeing your spirit, I am confident that no power can stop the formation of a BJP government here.”
He said that the BJP has resolved to secure Assam’s culture and identity.
“The BJP has resolved that Assam’s culture and identity must remain secure. And that is why the double-engine government under the leadership of Himanta is working here. Assam has now acquired a distinct identity within India. The Congress has always neglected Assam. It was subjected to step-motherly treatment here. Due to the misrule of the Congress, the discourse here revolved around insurgency, poverty, and unrest,” Singh said.
The BJP leader said that the discourse around Assam has changed from starvation and extremism to development.
“But times have changed now. Today, no one across the entire world speaks of starvation or extremism anymore. Now, the discourse here revolves around development, something that has been made possible thanks to the BJP. Many villages along the border were once referred to as the ‘last villages’ under Congress, but we have bestowed upon them the title of the ‘first villages’ of the nation. PM Modi has visited the North East 30 times in the last 12 years. But during the Congress tenure, the PM hardly used to visit the region,” he said.
Earlier, the BJP released its manifesto for the 2026 Assam Assembly elections, promising a Uniform Civil Code and increasing the monthly direct bank transfer under the Orunodoi scheme to Rs 3,000 for women.
Listing 31 promises, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the BJP aims to make Assam the “brightest state”.
Following the footsteps of Uttarakhand and Gujarat, and tapping into the BJP’s core agenda, the Chief Minister promised a Uniform Civil Code and action against the alleged “love jihad”. The UCC, he said, will exclude the areas under the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution and will not be implemented on tribal communities.
The polling for all 126 Assembly constituencies will be held in a single phase on April 9, while the counting of votes is scheduled for May 4. Assam will witness a fight between the incumbent BJP-led NDA government and Congress for the 126-seat assembly.
The BJP is contesting the elections with Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) and Bodoland People’s Front (BPF).
The NDA will look to secure a third consecutive term, while the Congress aims to defeat the ruling party to return to power. (ANI)

Zonal IG Jitendra Rana, Patna Divisional Commissioner, the District Magistrate (DM), the Superintendent of Police (SP), the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), and the Nawada SP on Tuesday arrived at the Sheetla Mata Temple.
The temple has been closed, and CCTV footage is being examined.
The tragedy was caused by the heat. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Dipnagar Police Station.
Cabinet Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is continuously monitoring the situation.
“Eight people are reported to have died in the stampede at the temple fair. This is a heart-rending incident. CM has taken cognisance of the incident. He has directed the officers to undertake all relief operations. As per the direction by the CM, all bereaved families of the deceased will receive Rs 4 Lakhs ex-gratia from the disaster relief fund and Rs 2 Lakhs each from the CM relief fund; Rs 6 Lakhs each for all families. Govt will bear expenses for the treatment of the injured,” he said.
According to a press release, Nitish Kumar announced Rs 4 lakhs each from the Disaster Management Department and Rs 2 lakhs each from the CM relief fund (a total of Rs 6 Lakhs each) for the next of kin of the deceased.
The release stated, “Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed deep condolences over the deaths of devotees in a stampede that occurred at the Sheetla Devi Temple in Bihar Sharif, Nalanda district. The Chief Minister stated that this incident is extremely tragic and has left him deeply distressed. BJP National President Nitin Nabin launched a sharp attack on the Left Democratic Front (LDF) and the United Democratic Front (UDF), accusing them of engaging in “game-fixing” politics by alternately supporting and criticising each other to stay in power.
Speaking to ANI, Nabin highlighted the BJP’s growing support in Keralam, noting that the party’s vote share has increased from 2% to 20%, which reflects its steady progress. He said that under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, the state is now aspiring to transform from simply “Kerala” into a “developed Keralam.”
“This time, the BJP will make the lotus bloom in Keralam. The kind of support we are receiving from the people here–having moved from 2% vote share to 20%–shows our progress. Under the leadership of Narendra Modi, what was once just ‘Kerala’ now aspires to move forward as a ‘developed Keralam’,” said Nabin.
He further alleged that for over 70 years, Keralam politics has been dominated by a cycle of “game fixing” between the LDF and UDF. According to him, both alliances have taken turns in power by levelling allegations against each other, a pattern that the public now clearly understands. Nabin asserted that the people of Keralam are ready to reject these “match-fixers” and bring an end to this political cycle by voting them out of power.
“For a very long time–over the past 70 years–the politics of so-called “game fixing” between the LDF and UDF has continued. Now, the people of Keralam will uproot this system. These “match-fixers,” who alternate between power and opposition by trading allegations against each other, have been understood by the public. The people of Keralam will now respond to this and remove these match-fixing forces from power,” said Nabin.
The BJP chief added that under PM Narendra Modi’s leadership, the people would ensure the rise of the BJP in the state. He claimed that Keralam has long been deprived of development and welfare, and that even sectors like tourism–once a major strength–have suffered due to neglect.
“They will ensure that the BJP’s lotus blooms under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. For a long time, the people of Keralam have been deprived of development and welfare. Keralam, which is known for its tourism, has seen that sector decline under them. There is hardly any sector they have worked to improve. Today, Keralam stands at the 15th position in the health index,” said Nabin.
Meanwhile, Nabin held a roadshow in support of BJP candidate from Attingal constituency, P Sudheer. Sudheer will be facing competition from LDF candidate OS Ambika, who is current MLA from the seat; meanwhile, UDF have fielded Santhosh Bhadran from the constituency.
Polling for the 2026 Keralam Legislative Assembly elections will be held on April 9, with the counting of votes on May 4. The tenure of the current assembly is set to conclude on May 23.
The Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) seek to unseat the incumbent Communist Party of India (Marxist)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) and gain control of the 140-member assembly. The LDF-led government has governed the state for around a decade.
Around 2.7 crore electors are expected to participate in the election. Following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the state electoral roll, the final voter list for Keralam was released on February 21. The revised roll includes 2,69,53,644 voters–1,31,26,048 male voters, 1,38,27,319 female voters, and 227 third-gender voters. Among them, 4,24,518 voters belong to the 18-19 age group. (ANI)
Congress leader Akhilesh Prasad Singh on Tuesday criticised the government over the Nalanda Sheetla Mata Temple stampede, saying it had occurred due to the laxity of the administration.
“It is unfortunate. The government should remain more vigilant on such incidents. This has all happened due to the administration’s laxity. The government should promptly provide compensation to the families of those who lost their lives,” he stated to ANI.
