Cong Doesn’t Want Support Of Hindus: Acharya Pramod Krishnam

Congress leader and spiritual guru Acharya Pramod has attacked the Congress leadership for taking what he calls is an ‘Anti-Hindu’ stand. This he feels is one of the reasons for him not being asked to join the party campaign in Madhya Pradesh.

“There is no reason to be upset. Maybe they (the party leadership) don’t want the support of Hindus and maybe they find some flaw in the motive of appointing a Hindu guru as a star campaigner. This is a decision of the party. I have felt that there are some leaders in Congress who hate Lord Ram. These leaders also hate the word ‘Hindu’, they want to insult Hindu religious gurus. They don’t like that there should be a Hindu religious guru in the party” Acharya Pramod Krishnam said in an exclusive interview with ANI.

Acharya Krishnam also raised serious questions on the opposition INDIA alliance and said “I think there is no such thing as INDIA Bloc left.”

“The main goals of making INDIA Bloc was to defeat PM Modi and de-throne the BJP government. But the sad thing is that the opposition hates Modi so much that they forget that they have started hating India. If PM Modi inaugurates a new Parliament then they oppose it, if the train is named ‘Vande Bharat’ then they oppose it. No one stops you from criticizing the PM, but it is not right to hate him. The opposition has become so confused that it has forgotten everything” Acharya Krishnam said.

He further said that nobody in the INDIA Bloc is criticizing the comments made by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on women in the state Assembly and It would be a mistake if we keep blaming BJP and Modi for everything.

“The opposition wants to blame all its mistakes on Modi. Akhilesh is saying that Congress is the most deceitful party. Is he saying this at the behest of Modi ji? Will Modi also be blamed for Nitish Kumar’s statement? No leader of the INDIA bloc is asking Nitish why did you say this?” Acharya Pramod said.

“For 10 years we just kept doing this… there was dust on our faces and we kept cleaning the mirror. (10 baras tak hum bus ye khata karte rahe… Dhul chehre par thi aur aayena saaf karte rahe)”, he added.

“I feel that there is nothing left called INDIA bloc. Akhilesh Yadav says that Congress has cheated the SP. AAP is pointing fingers at Congress. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury points a finger at Mamata Banerjee,” he further added.

Speaking on speculations about him joining the BJP, Acharya Pramod said that if one talks about Bharat, Sanatana, it does not mean that he wants to join the BJP. “The question is not about BJP and Congress, the question is about India’s culture and civilization,” he said.

Expressing his happiness at the construction of the Ram Mandir, Acharya Pramod said that it was a sign of good luck and after the prayers of crores of people, that Ram Lalla’s temple will be made.

He also claimed that in Congress, Priyanka Gandhi is the strongest candidate for the PM’s post.

“If Congress wants to give competition to Narendra Modi then it is necessary to make Priyanka Gandhi its candidate and that would be better. The 2024 election will be ‘Mahabharat’. Rahul Gandhi has now risen above these things. He no longer desires any position. From the point of view of credibility and acceptance, I think there is no bigger leader than Priyanka at this time,” Acharya Pramod added. (ANI)

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi

He Wears Suits Worth Lakhs: Rahul Takes Jibe At Modi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh and said “PM wears suits worth lakhs of rupees but I wear this white t-shirt only.”

Addressing a rally at Satna, Rahul said “I heard PM Modi’s speech, he used to say everywhere that I belong from the OBC community in every speech, he became prime minister by saying this repeatedly. On one day, he wears at least 1-2 suits worth lakhs of rupees. Have you seen Modi ji repeating his clothes ? I wear this one single white shirt. Do you know why caste disappeared from his speeches as I started speaking about caste-based census. Since I started speaking about it, Modi started saying that there is no caste in India.”

He also announced that the first step of the Congress government formed in MP will be to conduct the caste-based census.

“As soon as Congress government is formed in MP, our first step will be to conduct caste-based census statewide and as soon as our party comes to power we will do the survey of caste-based census nationwide. Till the caste-based census is not done, the backward class won’t be able to contribute. A few days back during the campaign in Chhattisgarh, I met few farmers. I asked about the rate of their land. I was astonished to know when the farmer said that I don’t know the rate of my land,” Rahul Gandhi said.

The Congress leader alleged that the government takes GST from poor people and hands over all the money to big businessmen.

“Big industrialists do not provide employment. Small traders who run small and medium businesses, who are into small and medium scale manufacturing, who run shops, these people provide employment. There used to be lakhs of small units, who gave employment to our youth. When the BJP and PM Modi government came into power, they started an attack on these units. They attacked small traders, and small and medium businesses with demonetization and GST. GST is not a tax. It is an attack on farmers, small traders and businessmen. It is a weapon to finish small traders,” he added.

“GST is given by OBC, Adivasi, backward class and poor people of general category. The government takes GST from poor people and hands over all the bank money to big businessmen like Adani, and Ambani,” Rahul Gandhi said.

The former Congress President accused the BJP of plotting to overthrow the Congress Government that was formed after the 2018 state elections.

“Big industrialists, billionaires, PM Modi and Shivraj Singh Chouhan came together and stole our government from you because they knew that the Congress government of Madhya Pradesh will not work for Adani, it would work for farmers, labourers and small shop owners. I have clearly told the CMs of Karnataka and Chhattisgarh and I will say the same for MP that whatever money the BJP government has given to Adani, the same amount should be given to the people of the state. Modi Ji’s control is in the hands of Adani,” he added. (ANI)

QUAD (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue)

Blinken: India-US Promoting Open Indo-Pacific By Strengthening QUAD

India and the United States are promoting a free, open and secure Indo-Pacific by strengthening the partnership through QUAD (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue) with Japan and Australia, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said.

In his opening remarks at the fifth 2+2 India-US Ministerial Dialogue here in Delhi, Blinken said, “We are promoting a free and open, prosperous, secure and resilient Indo-Pacific, including by strengthening our partnership through the QUAD with Japan and Australia. One significant way we’re doing that is by enhancing maritime domain awareness, sharing commercial satellite data with countries in the region to boost their capacity.”

Citing examples, Blinken added by saying, “For example, to combat illegal phishing, piracy, and drug trafficking. We’re also coordinating humanitarian relief and disaster response efforts in the Indo-Pacific…”

He also mentioned PM Modi’s state visit to the US which took place in June this year.

Blinken said, “…When President Biden hosted PM Modi at the White House in June, both of our leaders set out a very ambitious agenda to build an even stronger and even more comprehensive strategic partnership that delivers for our people as well as for the region and we believe, for the world and together we have been taking very concrete steps to deliver on the vision that our two leaders put forward.”

As the fifth India-US 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue began in New Delhi, the United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken described the partnership between the two countries as the “strongest ever.”

“It is always wonderful to be here in India. We are building a remarkable year of engagement…We have not only the strongest bilateral partnership we’ve ever had, but also a regional one, and indeed, a global one that was further evidenced by India’s leadership for the G20 this year,” Blinken said.

“We have a lot to do, including with our defence colleagues. I think it’s further evidence of our resolute focus for the United States on the Indo-Pacific, our region for the future; the future is actually now, and we’re building it together with India…,” he added.

Alongside the QUAD, India is one of 12 countries partnering with the United States on the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity to make the economies more connected, resilient, clean, and fair. India is also a member of the Indian Ocean Rim Association, at which the United States is a dialogue partner.

The 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue is a diplomatic summit held every year since 2018, with the Minister of External Affairs and the Defence Minister representing India and the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Defence representing the United States.

The discussions centre on common issues of concern between the two countries.

The dialogue will provide a platform for top-level discussions between the US and India, addressing critical bilateral and global matters, with special emphasis on developments unfolding in the Indo-Pacific region. (ANI)

Puppet CM Busy Playing Driver To His Delhi Boss: Badal Rips Into Mann

Citing CCTV footage purportedly showing a man grabbing a woman’s neck in a bid to snatch her chain, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal launched a blistering attack on the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab, alleging a complete breakdown in law and order under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

“The law and order situation has completely collapsed in Punjab under the @BhagwantMann-led @AamAadmiParty govt. Murders, drug trafficking, land grabbing, illegal mining and such incidents of snatching have become an everyday affair,” the former deputy chief minister posted from his official handle on X.

Labelling CM Mann a ‘puppet’ of Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, the SAD chief posted, “The situation demands immediate attention, but the “Puppet” CM is busy playing driver to his Delhi Boss Arvind Kejriwal and assisting the latter in election campaigning in Madhya Pradesh, Chhatisgarh and other poll-bound States.”

Meanwhile, Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu also took a swipe at the Punjab CM over an alleged decline in the state’s law and order situation.

Responding to CCTV footage of the purported chain-snatching bid, Sidhu posted from his X handle, “Chain snatching, extortions, gruesome murders are daily routine in Punjab! [?]The Home Minister and CM [?]are in deep slumber – this Ostrich mentality will spell Dooms Day for Punjab’s Democracy- fear is the name of the game! Wake up, CM Saheb. This is happening in Bathinda.”

The footage purportedly shows the woman walking on a street in Bathinda late at night when a man grabs her neck and tries to tear off her chain.

Earlier, following the summons by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to Kejriwal in connection with the Delhi excise policy case, Badal had demanded a probe into the Punjab ‘excise scam’ as well.

“Twin developments, including the rejection of the bail plea of ex-Delhi CM Manish Sisodia and summoning of Aam Aadmi Party Convener, Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi Excise Policy Scam on Nov 2, calls for a thorough probe into the Punjab Excise Scam too,” the SAD chief posted on X.

He also alleged the involvement of CM Bhagwant Mann and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha in the alleged scam.

ED summoned Kejriwal on November 2 for questioning in the Delhi Excise policy case. However, the Delhi CM skipped the ED date and wrote to the central agency instead, demanding that the summons be withdrawn. (ANI)

ITBP Shah

Give Priority To India: Shah At 62nd Raising Day Of ITBP

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday paid tributes at the 62nd raising day of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and said that the service which started 62 years ago has emerged as a strong face of nation’s security.

Speaking at the ceremony, Home Minister Amit Shah said “ITBP, which started 62 years ago with 7 divisions, has today emerged as a strong force with 60 divisions, 17 training centres, 5 frontiers and 2 commando headquarters with 1 lakh personnel. When your family needs you, the country needs you at the same time but you give priority to the country. Today the quota of our Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) on the lines of army in aviation and rail has decided which will be beneficial for you all.”

Further, Amit Shah spoke about the building which will help the soldiers posted at high level at -45 degrees Celsius.

“Self-Sustainable Energy Building, it has been e-launched today. At an altitude of 17,000 feet, it will become a symbol of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’. This is a unique gift from PM Modi and the Home Ministry. When diesel and kerosene are not available at -45 degrees, this building will provide a safe environment for our soldiers. Its work has been completed within just 2 months. I would like to congratulate all behind this,” he said.

“One thing Modi ji had thought about was whether drones could deliver life-saving items to villages located at high altitude. Today the first drone has reached a remote area carrying 15 kg of medicines and vegetables, this is a big start,” he added.

ITBP, one of the Central Armed Police Forces working under the Ministry of Home Affairs, is responsible for guarding the 3,488 km of India-China border running along Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and the Union Territory of Ladakh from the Karakoram pass in Jammu and Kashmir to Jechap La in Arunachal Pradesh.

“On the request of the Home Ministry, PM Modi has approved 7 ITBP battalions. This has happened for the first time in the history of ITBP. 1 Sector Headquarters will be built at a cost of Rs 3000 crore. Preparation for 4 battalions has started. This will reduce the load on you people and will also share the responsibilities,” Amit Shah said.

The Home Minister also pressed on the ‘Vibrant Village Project’ launched to provide every facility to every village at high altitudes and remote areas.

“Now Modi ji has taken ‘Vibrant Village Project’. This is a new concept. Earlier, we used to call the village on the border, the last village of the country. But PM Modi went there and said that this is not the last village but the first village of the country. It is necessary to provide all the facilities to those villages. For this, this project has been made. In the initial stage, there is a population of 10 lakh in 19 districts comprising 46 blocks and 62 villages. A budget of Rs 4800 crore has been allocated for this,” he added.

Further, speaking on the changes, Amit Shah said that after the revoke of Article 370, there has been a decline in terrorism in all the indicators in Kashmir.

“A lot of changes have taken place in the country. After the removal of Article 370, terrorism has been controlled. There has been a decline in all the indicators. There have been successes in the Northeast also. There has been a 65 percent decline in those incidents and we have also seen an 80 percent decline in militancy activities,” Home Minister said. Lok Sabha Ethics Committee Mahua

LS Ethics Committee Report On Charges Against Mahua Adopted By 6:4 Majority

Six members of the Lok Sabha Ethics Committee supported the report on the ‘cash-for-query’ charges against Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra, including Congress MP Preneet Kaur, while four members opposed it, panel chairman Vinod Sonkar said on Thursday.

The meeting of the Lok Sabha Ethics Committee which is investigating the cash-for-query allegations against Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey was held on Thursday.

He further said that the panel will submit a ‘detailed report’ to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Friday.

“The recommendation report by the Parliament Ethics Committee has been adopted by the Committee with a 6:4 majority. Congress MP Preneet Kaur is one of the six MPs who supported the draft. A detailed report is being submitted to the Lok Sabha Speaker tomorrow…The action, whatever it is, will be taken by the Speaker,” Sonkar said.

The Committee, in its draft report, accused Moitra of being involved in ‘unethical conduct’ and sharing her ID login and password with unauthorised persons, sources said on Thursday.

“One common ground for all the opposition MPs to submit a dissent note is that the enquiry is not fair. They have said that Darshan Hiranandani should have been summoned by the committee to ensure a free and fair enquiry in all respects,” the sources said.

As per the sources, the draft report on Mahua Moitra’s cash-for-questions case reveals that she visited the UAE four times from 2019 to 2023 while her login was accessed several times.

“On 47 occasions, her member portal login credentials were accessed from Dubai,” according to the draft report of the ethics committee.

The Ethics Committee had sought details reports from Information Technology (IT) and Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) regarding IP address and location. The committee had also sought MHA’s input on the dangers of sharing login credentials, emphasizing the legal consequences under Section IT ACT 2000.

The draft report is learnt to have suggested that “serious misdemeanours on the part of Mahua Moitra calls for severe punishment”.

“The Committee, therefore, recommends that Mahua Moitra, MP may be expelled from the Membership of the Seventeenth Lok Sabha. In view of the highly objectionable, unethical, heinous and criminal conduct of Mahua Moitra, the Committee recommend for an intense, legal, institutional inquiry by the Government of India in a time-bound manner,” the report is learnt to have said.

“Unethical Conduct’ and ‘Contempt of the House’ by Mahua Moitra by way of accepting money – cash and kind, amenities and various other facilities by Mahua Moitra, MP from Darshan Hiranandani, Business Tycoon, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates,” it is learnt to have said.

The draft report spans approximately 500 pages.

Earlier today, Mahua Moitra wrote to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, alleging a breach in the rules of the House claiming that the draft report of the Lok Sabha Committee on Ethics was accessed by a news channel. She alleged that since the media house was owned by the Adani group this was an issue of corporate fraud and breach of regulations. (ANI)

Sara Ali Khan

Sara Opens Up About Equation With Kartik Post Breakup

The latest episode of ‘Koffee with Karan’ season 8 saw actresses Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday gracing the famous talk show couch.

In a candid conversation with host Karan Johar, the two opened up about their personal and professional lives.

Surprisingly, Karan also claimed that at one point, Sara and Anaya dated the same actor, Kartik Aaryan.

Karan initiated the topic of Kartik by asking whether it’s easier for them to be cordial with each other considering they once dated the same guy.

Instead of mentioning names, Sara talked about dating and breakups in general.

“I don’t want to say that ya, it’s all easy because then it comes across as a little more frivolous than it is. It isn’t always easy. When you are involved with anybody, whether it’s friends, professionally, romantically, espically if I am, I get involved and invested. It is not like, ‘Oh yeah, it doesn’t really matter, whatever its today, whatever its tomorrow’. It’s not like that. It does affect you. But ultimately you have to rise beyond that,” Sara said.

She added, “I have realised, without sounding semi negative, there are actually no predicaments in this business. In my limited experience, there is no point making permanent best friendships, pinky promises saying I’ll never talk to you again. All these nevers and always nahi hota (doesn’t happen).”

Karan then told Sara and Ananya about his past rifts with his closest friends Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kajol.

Karan revealed, “Twice in my life, I had differences with close friends of mine. One was with Kareena way back in 2003, we didn’t speak for a year and half. It was over a film, it was over Kal Ho Na Ho and it was only when my father was diagnosed with cancer that actually she called me, she was silent, I was silent. She was like I don’t know what to say, I said, don’t say anything, I know you are there. When he passed away, she was in Bangkok, we still had not mended, the point she landed from her shoot, she came home. We spent all night just chatting. We went back to where we were. When we fought, I said I am never going to speak with her again.”

Talking about his rift with Kajol, he said, “It happened years later, with Kajol, which was also like such an emotional bond. We felt we would never be together, both landed up. I remember messaging Kajol when my babies were born and we haven’t spoken in two years. I just sent her images of Yash and Roohi. I said you don’t need to reply but these are what my children look like – Yash and Roohi. She messaged back and she said, I am just full of love right now. Month later, she said it’s my birthday, you don’t have to come but I went. We hugged, we cried and it was done.”

Congress Aayi, Tabahi Laayi: Modi In MP

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday launched a fresh attack on Congress in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh stating that the party had brought with it destruction when it came to power in the State.

Addressing a rally in Satna, PM Modi said “Congress aayi, tabahi laayi (Congress came, brought with it destruction)”.

The Prime Minister further said that Congress has no roadmap for the development of Madhya Pradesh, and people have faith in Modi’s guarantees.

“Congress has no roadmap for the development of Madhya Pradesh. The youth of the state see no future in Congress. The state has faith in the guarantees given by Modi. Har guarantee ki poori hone ki guarantee,” he said.

Urging people in the state to vote for BJP, he said, “Your one vote has done wonders that the country’s enemies have lost their courage. Your MP’s one vote will strengthen Modi in Delhi. Your one vote will oust corrupt Congress from MP.”

He further said that if the Congress is voted to power “free ration and free health treatment will stop.”

“The Congress at the Centre had created hurdles in the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh, which was not permitted to work. Congress had pushed Madhya Pradesh into the dark well here and BJP has tried to take it out. Now is the time for sabka vikas (development of everyone). Dalit, backwards, tribal, poor, everyone will get their rights,” the Prime Minister said.

PM Modi further emphasized that in the past 10 years, the government had built four crore houses for the people. “We build Ram temple with the same devotion with which we build 4 crore houses. This is Modi’s guarantee to all those who have not yet got a house, they will get a house,” he said.

Madhya Pradesh is one of the five states set to undergo polls in one phase on November 17 and counting of votes will take place on December 3.

“Where did all this money go in the Congress government? It went in the 2G scam, it went in the coal scam, it went in the Commonwealth scam but I stopped all these scams. In 10 years, the BJP has sent Rs 10 lakh crore to the accounts of the poor. It is unfortunate for Congress that you have given power to a watchman. We started the scheme of giving free ration during the Corona period. This scheme will be completed in December. People have suggested that it should be extended, so I decided that I will run this scheme for another five years. This will end the ration worries of 4 lakh families of Satna district,” PM Modi said.

On November 17, voters will choose legislators from 230 Assembly constituencies of the state.(ANI)
