Shweta Tiwari Shares Pictures From ‘Singham Again’ Sets

Actor Shweta Tiwari who is all excited to join the force of director Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe ‘Singham Again’ has shared pictures from the sets.

On Tuesday, Shweta took to Instagram and treated fans to a glimpse of a film set.

Helmed by Rohit Shetty ‘Singham Again’ will also star actor Deepika Padukone in a cop avatar.

Recently, Rohit and the star cast of the film have started shooting for the action film.

Ajay Devgn took to Instagram and shared pictures from the film’s muhurat and wrote, “12 years ago, we gave Indian Cinema its biggest cinematic Cop Universe. With all the love we have received over the years, the force got stronger and the Singham family got bigger. Today we come together to take our franchise ahead with Singham Again!”

The images feature Ajay, Ranveer Singh and Rohit in one frame.

Not only Ajay but Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar are super excited.

Ranveer revealed that he is all set to reprise characters from Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe, ‘Simmba’ in this film.

Sharing the pictures, he wrote, “All set to reprise one of my most loved characters from the Rohit Shetty Cop Universe – SIMMBA 👮🏻‍♂️ in #SinghamAgain! We seek your love and blessings for our new journey ♥️🙏🏽 @ajaydevgn @itsrohitshetty.”

‘Singham’ was released in the year 2011, and starred Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj in the lead roles, followed by ‘Singham Returns’ in 2014, and both projects were declared box office hits.

The film marks the first on-screen collaboration of Deepika and Ajay.

Apart from the ‘Singham’ series, director Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn have worked together in films like ‘Zameen’, the ‘Golmaal’ franchise.

The film is all set to hit the theatres on Diwali 2024. (ANI)

Kajol, Ajay Spend Good Time With Nysa, Yug

On Monday, actor Ajay Devgn shared a priceless glimpse from his family time.

Taking to Instagram, Ajay dropped a fam-jam featuring wife Kajol, daughter Nysa, son Yug and nephew Daanish Gandhi.
In the image, Ajay and Kajol are seen smiling as they posed with their kids. Kajol looked stunning in a blue top. Ajay, Yug, and Daanish kept it simple yet stylish in their black outfits. Nysa looked adorable in a pink sweater.

“Nothing more sacred than spending time with this bunch,” Ajay captioned the post.

The adorable snap was captured in a restaurant. However, the location was not disclosed.

Kajol also shared the same photo on Instagram stories and said: “I agree… memories need to be recorded.”

Kajol and Ajay’s fam-jam picture garnered loads of likes and comments from fans.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajay has joined the star cast of Abhishek Kapoor’s next big-screen action adventure. Not only Ajay but his nephew Aaman Devgan and Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani are part of the yet-to-be-titled film. It will be out on February 9, 2024.

Ajay also has Vikas Bahl’s supernatural thriller film in kitty. Fans can also see him in ‘Maidaan’.

On the other hand, Kajol has come up with a web show ‘The Trial – Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha’, which is helmed by Suparn Varma.

The courtroom drama is the Indian adaptation of ‘The Good Wife’, which starred Julianna Margulies in the lead role. Kajol plays Noyonika Sengupta, a housewife who starts practising law again when her husband’s public scandal puts him in prison.

Talking about the show, Kajol said, “The complexities are what defines a character to me and the layers surrounding Noyonika are what spoke to me when this role first came over. Noyonika felt personal, I instantly felt protective about her and that reaffirmed my faith in choosing ‘The Trial – Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhoka’ to be my first step into the long format. Suparn Varma has built a world where the vulnerability of characters meets the cruel situations posed by life.”

Ajay To Star In Bahl’s Next Supernatural Thriller

Actor Ajay Devgn is all set to star in director Vikas Bahl’s next supernatural thriller film.

The yet-to-be-titled film will go on floors in June 2023 and will be extensively shot in Mumbai, Mussoorie and London.
Taking to Instagram, trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared announced the news and wrote, “AJAY DEVGN – PANORAMA – VIKAS BAHL COLLABORATE FOR A SUPERNATURAL THRILLER… After the #Blockbuster success of #Drishyam2, #AjayDevgn and #PanoramaStudios reunite for a supernatural thriller, which will be directed by #VikasBahl… The film – not titled yet – will go on floors in June 2023 and will be extensively shot in #Mumbai, #Mussoorie and #London. The film will be produced by #AjayDevgn, #KumarMangatPathak and #AbhishekPathak… Currently in pre-production stage.”

The film will be produced by the ‘Drishyam 2’ makers Abhishek Pathak, Kumar Mangat and Ajay himself under the banner Ajay Devgn Ffilm and Panorama Studios.

It is currently in the pre-production stage and the makers will be unravelling more information about the film in the near future.

Meanwhile, Ajay will be next seen in producer Boney Kapoor’s next film ‘Maidaan’ which is all set to hit the theatres on June 23.

Helmed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and co-produced by Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios, ‘Maidaan’ is a sports drama dedicated to the golden years of Indian football.

Ajay is essaying the role of the legendary coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who is widely known as the founding father of Indian football. The film also stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh.

Apart from that, he also has director Neeraj Pandey’s next ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ opposite actor Tabu and Rohit Shetty’s next ‘Singham Again’ opposite Deepika Padukone. (ANI)

Taking to Instagram, Ajay who shares a great bond with his daughter dropped a collage of a couple of candid moments of father-daughter.

Sharing the picture from the gala event of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre opening ceremony in Mumbai, the actor penned a sweet note.

Ajay will also return to the Singham universe with the third part. Deepika Padukone is also a part of the project.

Kajol, on the other hand, will be seen in an upcoming web series ‘The Good Wife’.

‘The Good Wife’ is an Indian adaptation of the American courtroom drama of the same name starring Julianna Margulies in the lead role The show has seven seasons and it concluded in 2016.

Kajol will be seen playing the role of a housewife who goes back to working as a lawyer after her husband’s scandal lands him in jail. Directed by Supan Verma it will stream on Disney+ Hotstar. (ANI)

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajay was recently seen in the action thriller film ‘Bholaa’ which received decent responses from the audiences.

As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film raked in Rs 11.20 crore in India on its opening day.

Bholaa marked Ajay’s fourth directorial film after ‘U, Me aur Hum’ in 2008, ‘Shivaay’ in 2016, and ‘Runway 34’ in 2022. The film also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, Vineet Kumar, Gajraj Rao and Tabu in pivotal roles.

It is an official Hindi remake of the Tamil hit ‘Kaithi’ and has been styled as the story of a “one-man army, set in one night, fighting a multitude of enemies in various forms, human and otherwise.”

In the upcoming months, Ajay will be seen headlining ‘Maidaan’, which is a sports drama dedicated to the golden years of Indian football.

Jr NTR Gets Grand Welcome At ‘RRR’ Screening In Los Angeles

Jr NTR is currently in Los Angeles to attend the Golden Globes where ‘RRR’ has been nominated in two categories. Before walking the red carpet at the gala night, Man of Masses attended a screening at TCL Chinese Theatre where he received a grand welcome from his fans.

NTR Jr was seen smiling and interacting with swarms of fans who were heard saying ‘Jai NTR!’. Jr NTR’s fan clubs also shared some pictures from the location in which the fans have painted the Hollywood town red with banners, billboards and 3 LED moving trucks bearing the actor’s name.

NTR Jr arrived in LA a few days back and even attended a screening of RRR followed by a reception at the DGA theatre.

He will be attending the Golden Globes ceremony with director SS Rajamouli and team. The historical magnum opus RRR has been nominated in the Best Picture – Non-English and Best Original Song (for ‘Naatu Naatu’) categories at the Golden Globes.

Blockbusters ‘RRR’, ‘The Kashmir Files’, ‘Kantara’ and ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ have made it to the Oscars 2023 reminder list.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) released a remainder list of 301 feature films eligible for the Oscars 2023.

Previously, Pan Nalin’s Gujarati film ‘Chhello Show’ was announced as India’s official entry for the Oscars 2023.

Apart from them, the list also features Indian films ‘Me Vasantrao’ and ‘Tuzhya Sathi Kahihi’, R Madhavan’s ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’, ‘Iravin Nizhal’ and Kannada movie ‘Vikrant Rona’.

According to Variety, an American Meida company, the 9,579 eligible voting members will begin filling out their ballots on January 12 and ballots will close on January 17, 2023.

The official Oscar nominations will be announced January 24, 2023 with the ceremony on March 12, 2023 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

RRR is a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan and Jr NTR played lead roles, respectively. The film collected over Rs 1200 crore worldwide. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran also starred in the film.

Jr NTR will begin shooting for his upcoming NTR30, directed by Koratala Siva of Janatha Garage. The film is slated to release on April 5, 2024. He will also be seen in ‘NTR31’ which will be directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel. (ANI)

“Shooting has wrapped; the post-production frenzy has already begun. Remember, we have a date – March 30th in the theatres,” a post read on Ajay Devgn Ffilms’ Instagram handle.

Expressing her happiness and contentment over her recent role played, actor Rakul Preet who received an overwhelming response for her performance in the latest release ‘Thank God’, which also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Ajay Devgn. In the film, she essays the role of a cop.

Sharing how her parents reacted to the film, Rakul said, “This is the earliest my parents have seen any film of mine let me tell you so they called me at 12 in the morning and my dad said this is your best film so far and I was like what really? And my dad felt that this generation would love this film and that families would love the film because it’s so true to our Indian families and culture. He took the number of my director and left him a long message saying thank you for doing this for this generation.”

Rakul also had the opportunity to see the audience’s reaction in theatres and was ecstatic with the response. She added, “Thank God I did surprise theatre visits and the audiences have come up to us emotional. They didn’t expect us in the theatres and they walked up to us stating how everyone really liked the film and how they are emotionally connecting with the film. All I can say is Thank God right now.”

The family entertainer minted Rs 8.10 crore on day 1 of the release, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

“ThankGod relied completely on spot bookings on the biggg #Diwali holiday… Although Day 1 biz is not proportionate with the names attached, the biz gathered speed towards evening onwards… Needs to grow/jump in the long, extended weekend… Tue Rs 8.10 cr. #India biz,” Adarsh posted on Twitter.

Ram Charan gave a sneak peek into the time spent in Japan with his wife Upasana Konidela and ‘RRR’ co-star Jr NTR.

Taking to his Instagram handle, the ‘Zanjeer’ actor dropped a video featuring ‘RRR’ team.
In the video, Ram Charan and Jr NTR were seen having a fun time on the road while walking hand-in-hand with their wives Upasana Konidela and Lakshmi Pranathi. And their wives were seen holding red roses in their hands.

Sharing the video, he wrote, “Together forever!! #rrr,” along with heart emojis.

As soon as the video was posted, the fans flooded the comment section.

RRR team has asked for consideration in categories including– Best Picture (DVV Danayya), Best Director (SS Rajamouli), Best Actor (Jr NTR and Ram Charan), Best Supporting Actor (Ajay Devgn), Best Supporting Actress (Alia Bhatt) and more.

68th National Film Awards: Ajay Receives Best Actor Honour For Tanhaji

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn on Friday was conferred with the National Award for Best Actor and Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment for ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ at the 68th National Film Awards.

For the award ceremony, the actor donned a black suit as he received the award from President Droupadi Murmu.
‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ was directed by Om Raut and released on January 10, 2020. This film was the 100th film in Devgn’s career spanning 30 years.

The movie also features Saif Ali Khan, Kajol and Sharad Kelkar. It collected over Rs 368 crore worldwide at the box office and was declared the highest grosser of the year.

The film involved Ajay in the role of Maratha warrior Taanaji Malusare, fighting for the principle of ‘Bhagwa’ (saffron) flag, ‘Swaraj’ (home-rule) and ‘Satya’ (truth).

Kajol essayed the role of the wife of Tanhaji — Savitribai Malusare — a strong character, who accompanied him in taking firm decisions. Saif played the antagonist, Uday Bhan, a Rajput official who works for Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.

This win marks Ajay’s third National award after ‘Zakhm’ in 1998 and ‘The Legend of Bhagat Singh’ in 2020. Along with the ‘Golmaal’ actor, South star Suriya also won the Best Actor honour for ‘Soorarai Pottru’.

The 68th National Film Awards were announced by a jury back in July 2022 at the National Media Centre in New Delhi. The jury comprised eminent filmmakers and film personalities from across Indian cinema. (ANI)
