Star couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma on Tuesday evening announced the birth of their baby boy ‘Akaay’.

Taking to Instagram, the coupe posted, “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay/akaay & Vamika’s little brother into this world. We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time. Love & Gratitude. Virat & Anushka.”

Kohli and Anushka revealed that the baby boy was born on February 15.

As soon as the couple dropped the good news, fans and members from the film industry and cricket world flooded the comment section with good wishes.

Actor Ranveer Singh posted a string of ‘evil eye’ and heart emojis in the comment section.

“God bless,” actor Rakul Preet Singh wrote.

Virat and Anushka tied the knot on December 11, 2017 in Italy. The duo was blessed with Vamika on January 11, 2021. The couple was tight-lipped about their second pregnancy.

However, recently former South Africa skipper AB de Villiers on his official YouTube channel revealed that Kohli and Anushka were expecting their second child.

The former Proteas skipper apologised to Kohli, saying he made a “blunder” in his previous video.

“My friend Virat Kohli is still not available. I cry out to everyone to give him the privacy that he deserves. Family comes first. No one knows what exactly is going on. I am asking all of us to respect that. I made a blunder in my previous show and I apologise to the Kohli family for that,” ABD said on his YouTube channel.

Kohli opted out of India’s ongoing five-match series against England earlier, citing to personal reasons. (ANI)

Indian cricket Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma, popularly known as ‘Virushka’ are among the most loved celebrity couples.

They are each other’s greatest cheerleaders too and Anushka is frequently seen cheering for her hubby Virat during his cricket matches.

On Saturday, the actor arrived in Ahmedabad to support her husband for the much-awaited match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan.

Post India’s win against Pakistan in the ICC World Cup 2023 match a fan shared a video on X in which the couple was seen walking hand-in-hand at the team hotel engaging with other cricketers’ family members, including captain Rohit Sharma’s wife Ritika Sajdeh.

They were seen surrounded by hotel staff and other players.

In another viral video, Virat is seen on the ground after the match, interacting with Anushka as she sits in the stands. Although Anushka is not seen in the video, the cricketer is seen smiling at her and making a driving gesture.

Coming to the match, India skipper Rohit Sharma’s flowing form dismantled Pakistan’s famed bowling attack as the ‘Men in Blue’ put up a dominating performance with bat and ball in the marquee World Cup clash here to register a comprehensive seven-wicket victory.

‘Dream Girl 2’ hit the theatres last month. The film not only garnered a good response but also managed to enter the Rs 100 crore club.

Dream Girl 2 is a sequel to the 2019 hit film Dream Girl. It traces the journey of a small-town boy Karam (played by Ayushmann) who is trying to live a serious life in Mathura. He falls in love with Pari (played by Ananya Panday) but life is hell-bent on not taking him seriously. In a turn of events, Karam becomes Pooja which creates further chaos in his already chaotic life.

Apart from him, the film also starred Ananya Panday, Manjot Singh, Paresh Rawal, Asrani, Vijay Raaz, Annu Kapoor and Seema Pahwa among others.

RCB face Gujarat Titans in a crucial IPL 2023 tie on Sunday at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The fourth place in the playoffs is still up for grabs and the race is between RCB, Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals.

If Mumbai Indians lose against Sunrisers Hyderabad, then a win would be enough for RCB to qualify. If Mumbai Indians end up winning, and then RCB also wins, then it will come down to net run rate.

If Mumbai Indians win and RCB lose, then it would be Rohit Sharma and co, who would qualify for playoffs. If MI and RCB both lose, then it would be Rajasthan Royals who will qualify for the playoffs.

On an important match day, Anushka decided to be with Virat and cheer for him.

Anushka took to Instagram stories to share the updates with her fans. In the first frame, she shared a picture of the famous food joint in Bengaluru where she had lunch with her family.

Actor Anushka Sharma is a happy and proud wife as her husband Virat Kohli hit his 72nd century in international cricket against Bangladesh on Saturday.

Taking to Instagram Story, Anushka shared a smiling picture of Virat during the match. She added a heart 100 and heart emojis while posting it.

Virat etched out his 72nd century in international cricket to surpass Ricky Ponting’s record of 71 international centuries. This was the right-hander’s 44th ODI century which came after a gap of three years in the 50-over format.

India posted a mammoth score of 409 runs, propelled by Ishan Kishan and Virat Kohli’s superb knocks at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram in the final ODI of the three-match series against Bangladesh.

It seemed like India’s batting will once again falter as has been the case in the series but the duo of Virat and Kishan forged a partnership for the ages to scare the Bangladeshi bowlers, plundering them for runs all over the park.

The batting pair put on a run-fest for the Indian fans who had been deprived of a scintillating performance throughout the series.

Kishan and Virat piled on the misery for the Bangladeshi bowlers as they amassed runs at will to share a massive 290-run partnership for the second wicket while reaching individual milestones in the process. The duo helped India breach the 400-run mark for the sixth time in ODI cricket.

Coming back to Anushka, recently surprised everyone with her cameo in ‘Qala’. Her presence in the film was kept a closely guarded secret and it seems like it’s become a huge talking point after the release.

Backed by Anushka’s brother, Karnesh Sharma’s production house Clean Slate Filmz, the film stars Tripti Dimri, Swastika Mukherjee, and Babil Khan. It marks Babil’s official acting debut in films.
