Kareena Enjoys Lunch Date With Her Ladies In London

Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a picture from her lunch date with the ladies including her sister Karisma and Rima Jain.

The ‘Good Newwz’ actor took to her Instagram story and treated fans with a new picture from her London trip.
In the picture, Kareena was seen posing with her aunt Rima Jain, Karisma and others.

Sharing the picture, she wrote, “Lunching with the ladies,” with heart emoji.

Kareena is currently shooting for Hansal Mehta’s project in London. Recently, shared a glimpse of how she is spending a day off from the shoot with her younger son Jeh.

Speaking of the project, it is being helmed by Hansal Mehta. It is co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Kareena.

On working with Kareena, Ektaa has earlier shared, “Kareena has been an actor with a huge, admirable (almost envious) body of work… and while her male co-stars turned producers in due course, she’s finally joined the bandwagon now! I’ve always believed that women have an equal part or play in the business and success of a film.”

Ektaa added, “It’s been a hard journey, but an encouraging & happy one! I’m so glad that today, we can empower each other like this! Here’s to wishing Kareena Kapoor Khan the best on her journey as a producer…adding another feather to her already illustrious career! May we have more of her in our tribe!”

Apart from that, Kareena will be next seen in director Sujoy Ghosh’s next thriller film which is based on the book The Devotion Of Suspect X. It also stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat.

Hrithik Made His Girlfriend Saba’s Birthday Special

Actor-singer Saba Azad, who recently turned a year older, thanked her beau Hrithik Roshan for making her birthday a memorable one for her.

On Thursday, Saba took to Instagram and dropped a video featuring adorable moments spent with Hrithik on her birthday.
In the clip, the couple is seen working out, posing together, digging into a meal, and cutting the birthday cake.

Sharing how Hrithik helped her “put together” her strange birthday plan, Saba wrote, “I like my birthdays to be quiet. More often than not you’ll find me doing seemingly mundane things on the day, I don’t quite remember when I began doing this but now it seems like the norm. Don’t get me wrong, I love me a good party, so long as I can get a day to do this first. For me my birthday is a microcosm of what I would want my days on earth to be like – a good day is one in which I spend some time learning something new, in which I move my body, take time to nourish my mind, good food always features heavily on such a day and of course spend time with those I love.”

“Thank you Ro for beautifully putting together my strange fruit of a plan. And thank you all of you who reached out with love, kind words, and flowers – my house looks like a garden in spring and my heart is full,” she added.

On Saba’s birthday, Hrithik penned a sweet note for his ladylove.

“The rhythm of you, the voice of you, the grace of you, the heart of you..and oh that insanely amazing mind of you.. melody in motion girl, that’s what you are. Thank you for existing you quirky crazy nutty anomaly of a human being! Happy Birthday. 1/11/2022,” he posted.

Rumors about Hrithik and Saba’s relationship started when they were spotted out on a dinner date together in February earlier this year. Later, Saba also joined Hrithik’s family for a get-together. The rumors came to an end after the two walked hand-in-hand at actor Karan Johar’s 50th birthday bash. Hrithik was previously married to interior designer Sussanne Khan.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Hrithik was recently seen in an action thriller film ‘Vikram Vedha’ alongside Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte. Helmed by the director duo Pushkar-Gayatri, the film received positive feedback from the audience. (ANI)

Rakul Preet Shares Parents Reaction To ‘Thank God’

Expressing her happiness and contentment over her recent role played, actor Rakul Preet who received an overwhelming response for her performance in the latest release ‘Thank God’, which also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Ajay Devgn. In the film, she essays the role of a cop.

Sharing how her parents reacted to the film, Rakul said, “This is the earliest my parents have seen any film of mine let me tell you so they called me at 12 in the morning and my dad said this is your best film so far and I was like what really? And my dad felt that this generation would love this film and that families would love the film because it’s so true to our Indian families and culture. He took the number of my director and left him a long message saying thank you for doing this for this generation.”

Rakul also had the opportunity to see the audience’s reaction in theatres and was ecstatic with the response. She added, “Thank God I did surprise theatre visits and the audiences have come up to us emotional. They didn’t expect us in the theatres and they walked up to us stating how everyone really liked the film and how they are emotionally connecting with the film. All I can say is Thank God right now.”

The family entertainer minted Rs 8.10 crore on day 1 of the release, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

“ThankGod relied completely on spot bookings on the biggg #Diwali holiday… Although Day 1 biz is not proportionate with the names attached, the biz gathered speed towards evening onwards… Needs to grow/jump in the long, extended weekend… Tue Rs 8.10 cr. #India biz,” Adarsh posted on Twitter.

Rakul Wants To Remain Slim

Rakul is a fitness enthusiast and is often captured by the paparazzi’s lens outside her Yoga studio.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rakul last shared screen space with Ayushmann Khurrana and Shefali Shah in ‘Doctor G’, which hit the theatres on October 14.

Written by Sumit Saxena, Saurabh Bharat, Vishal Wagh, and Anubhuti Kashyap, Doctor G is a coming-of-age comedy-drama set on a medical campus and is a compelling and hilarious look at a male gynecologist surviving an otherwise female-dominated world.

She will next be seen in an upcoming comedy film ‘Thank God’ alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Ajay Devgn. The film is all set to hit the theatres on October 25, 2022.

She also has ‘Chattriwali’ in her kitty. The film revolves around an unemployed graduate who is desperate for a job in a small town and ends up taking the job as a condom tester which she hides from everyone around her. (ANI)

Directed by Anil Sharma, the upcoming film is the sequel to the much-loved family drama ‘Apne’, which was released in 2007. The film, which revolves around the importance of family bonds, also starred Kirron Kher, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, and Katrina Kaif.

Even though it has been several decades since rumors of the love triangle between Rekha-Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan were rampant, the subject of their romance still has a certain spark.

While Amitabh and Jaya have remained tight-lipped about this alleged affair over the years, this has not been the case with Rekha, who never shied away from talking about it.

Back in 1978, during an interview with Stardust, Rekha spoke about how she saw Jaya getting hurt and being emotional while watching intimate scenes between her and Amitabh in their film ‘Muqaddar Ka Sikandar’.

“Once, I was looking at the whole (Bachchan) family through the projection room when they came to see the trial show of ‘Muqaddar Ka Sikandar’. Jaya was sitting in the front row and he (Amitabh) and his parents were in the row behind her. They couldn’t see her as clearly as I could. And during our love scenes, I could see tears pouring down her face,” she said.

Rekha added, “A week later, everybody in the industry was telling me that he has made it clear to his producers that he was not going to work with me.”

Rumors at the time suggested that after reports about Amitabh and Rekha’s alleged affair had surfaced, these caused a rift between Jaya and Rekha though they had been friends earlier.

‘Muqaddar Ka Sikandar’, released in 1978, had been the last film starring Amitabh and Rekha until Yash Chopra got them and Jaya to star in his 1981 film ‘Silsila’. (ANI)
