SRK Admits Feeling Nervous On Returning After Four Years

2023 has been a great year for all the SRK fans, as the Superstar after a long hiatus of 4 years released three films ‘Pathaan’, ‘Jawan’ and lastly ‘Dunki’ which have all set records at the box office.

On Monday, at a special fan meet and greet event in Mumbai, the ‘Don’ actor expressed gratitude towards his fans for showering the love they have bestowed upon him.

Taking to X, Shah Rukh Khan Universe Fan Club shared a video in which King Khan said, “Because I have been working for 33 years and you take such a big gap. Normally you do feel a little nervous and you feel ki ‘arrey yaar! I hope I have got the film right’.”

As per a source close to the team of ‘Dunki’, the makers might hold a special screening for the UK government.

“Since Dunki narrates the story of illegal immigrants who take the Donkey route to enter the cross borders, the UK government has found it to be a relevant subject in today’s time. The film has received tremendous love from the UK audience, as not only it talks about an important issue but also highlights the dangerous Dunki route, and hence now the government is also keen to watch the film,” the source-based statement read.

Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, ‘Dunki’ features Shah Rukh alongside Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar and Anil Grover.

‘Dunki’ focuses on the issue of immigration. Its title is taken from the term “donkey journey”, which refers to the long-winding, often dangerous routes that people across the world take to reach the places they want to immigrate to.

Amid ‘Dunki’ Success, SRK Greets Fans Outside Mannat

Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s success continues to grow, with his third release of the year ‘Dunki’ all set to enter the Rs 100 crore club.

And surprisingly, on Sunday, SRK celebrated the film’s success with his fans. In the evening, the King Khan brought traffic to a standstill in Bandra after he came out of his residence Mannat and greeted fans who were standing outside waiting to catch one glimpse of him.

Several visuals surfaced online in which SRK is seen expressing gratitude to his well-wishers with folded hands and he also blew kisses at them.

SRK looked uber cool in a blue sweater and blue jeans. He kept his long hair back with the help of a hairband.

‘Dunki’ marks SRK’s first-ever collaboration with director Rajkumar Hirani, who has previously given hits like ‘PK’, ‘Sanju’, ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Munna Bhai’.

‘Dunki’ hit the theatres on December 21 and since then it has been the talk of the town. The film received mixed reviews from the audience and critics and so far it has collected over Rs Rs 157.22 crores worldwide.

‘Dunki’ also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Grover, Boman Irani and Vikram Kochhar.

At one of the events in Dubai, SRK described ‘Dunki’ as his best film.”So when I made Jawan, I thought I made a film for boys and girls but I didn’t make anything for myself, then I made Dunki. So this is my film. This film is very close to my heart. When I was doing Pathaan, many people who write about films, those who know about films more than the filmmakers, were saying what kind of roles I was doing, so I felt that I should do films that come from my heart and this includes all the films that I did this year. I started the year with Pathaan, which was always ladies first, and I want to end the year with a film for myself. So, please watch Dunki on December 21. Everyone will find something in the film that will touch their heart. The film will make you laugh also,” he said.

With Dunki’s success, SRK has got three back-to-back hits in his kitty. In January, he came up with ‘Pathaan’, which smased several records at the box office, and in September, he enthralled fans with ‘Jawan’, which was directed by Atlee. (ANI)

SRK Praises Co-Star Vicky Kaushal

Shah Rukh Khan is super excited as just three days are left in the release of his much-awaited film ‘Dunki’. During film promotion in Dubai, the superstar heaped praises on his co-star Vicky Kaushal.

One of the videos of SRK surfaced on social media from the event, where he can be seen praising Vicky Kaushal’s performance in ‘Dunki’ and saying that the audience is going to love him in the film as he has done a great job.

In the video, Shah Rukh was heard saying, “Vicky Kaushal is a great friend. I feel he is one of the finest actors I have worked with. And jab aap Dunki mein Vicky Kaushal ko dekheinge toh aapko bohat pyaar aaega unpar. He has done well and I got a lot to learn from him.”

He also lauded director Raj Kumar Hirani and encouraged fans to watch the movie in theaters.

“The best director in the country, we all respect him and love him and we need to give the love back because we give so much to cinemas,” he said.

He grabbed eyeballs and took over the stage at Dubai’s Global Village while promoting his upcoming film, ‘Dunki’.

King Khan caught the attention with his performance on the song ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’. He thanked his fans for being present there.

While talking about his film, he said, “I made ‘Jawan’ fir maine socha maine ladke ladkiyu ke liye bana di apane liye kuch nahy banayi fir maine ‘Dunki’ bana di. Ye meri vaali film hai jo mere dil ke bahut kareeb hai..year started with ‘Pathaan’ for me, which was always lady’s first for the girls and I want to end the year with a film for me.”

SRK, Suhana Offers Prayers At Shirdi Ahead Of Dunki Release

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is all set to come up with his upcoming movie ‘Dunki’ in a week, on Thursday visited the famous Sai Baba temple in Shirdi along with his daughter Suhana Khan.

Several videos and pictures of the ‘Jawan’ actor surfaced on social media in which he could be seen walking along with the pilgrims amid security.

SRK kept it casual and was seen donning a black jacket that he teamed up with a white t-shirt, jogger and a cap.

Suhana was seen dressed in ethnic attire.

On Tuesday, Shah Rukh Khan visited the famed Vaishno Devi Temple in Jammu.

Previously, too, he visited the famous temple before the release of his comeback film ‘Pathaan’ in January and also before the release of ‘Jawan’.

Talking about his next release ‘Dunki’, the film is all set to hit the theatres on December 21.

SRK, Salman Attend Ganpati Puja At Shinde’s Residence

Superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan on Sunday night paid a visit to Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s home to attend Ganpati puja.

Several images and videos from the puja circulated online. SRK was accompanied by his manager Pooja Dadlani. On the other hand, Salman came along with his sister Aprita and brother-in-law Aayush Sharma.

Both SRK and Salman posed with the CM and shared warm greetings.

The Khans stole everyone’s attention with their ethnic look. SRK came for the puja wearing a blue color Pathaani suit. Salman wore a red kurta.

Other B-town members including Jackie Shroff, Arjun Rampal, Asha Bhosle, Boney Kapoor and Rashami Desai also attended Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Eknath Shinde‘s house.

Recently SRK also sought the blessings of Lord Ganesha at the famous Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai along with his younger son AbRam.

Meanwhile, on the work front, SRK is currently enjoying the grand success of his recently released action thriller film ‘Jawan’.

Post the success of the movie, the makers held a press conference in Mumbai a few days ago.The event was attended by SRK, Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, and Atlee.

Sharing his excitement for the success of the movie Shah Rukh Khan said, “It’s a celebration. We rarely get a chance to live with a film for years. The making of Jawan has been going on for four years due to Covid and time constraints. There were a lot of people involved in this film, especially people from the South who came and settled in Mumbai and have been living in Mumbai for the last four years and working day and night for this film, which is the hardest work ever.”

Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Lehar Khan, Girija Oak and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya bring depth and strength to the characters in the film Jawan, which is directed by Atlee.

SRK also confirmed the release date of his upcoming movie ‘Dunki’ at the success event of ‘Jawan’.He said, “We started on January 26, Republic Day (with Pathaan), then on Janmashtami we released Jawan, now New Year and Christmas are round the corner, we will release ‘Dunki’. I keep National integration. Anyway, when my film is released, it is Eid.”

Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film also stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. ‘Dunki’ marks the first collaboration of the ‘Chak De India’ actor with ‘3 Idiots’ fame director Hirani and ‘Pink’ actor Taapsee.

Salman is gearing up for the release of ‘Tiger 3’, which will hit the theatres this Diwali. The film also has Katrina Kaif. In October, Salman will be seen hosting the 17th season of ‘Bigg Boss’. (ANI)

SRK Leaves For Saudi To Resume ‘Dunki’ Shoot

Speculations around Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan resuming the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Dunki’ started spreading on social media after he was spotted at the Mumbai Airport during the early hours of Wednesday by the paps.

Videos surfaced on social media in which SRK could be seen donning a brown jacket, blue t-shirt, and cargo pants.
Soon after the ‘Don’ actor’s videos got viral, fans started speculating that the actor might have left to shoot for the next schedule of Rajkumar Hirani’s film ‘Dunki’ in Saudi Arabia.

The major reason behind fans’ speculations was the ‘Paheli’ actor’s look.

A few months back, a picture got viral on social media from the sets of ‘Dunki’ in which Shah Rukh Khan could be seen with his co-actor Taapsee Pannu.

In the new Aiport video, SRK’s look was quite similar to his look in the previous viral picture.

‘Dunki’ marks the first collaboration of Shah Rukh Khan with director Rajkumar Hirani.

The official release date of the film is still awaited.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan will also be seen in director Siddharth Anand’s next action thriller film ‘Pathaan’ alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.

Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film is all set to hit the theatres on January 25, 2023.

Burj Khalifa Lights Up To Wish Shah Rukh On His 57th Birthday

Dubai’s iconic skyscraper Burj Khalifa lit up with a special message for Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan on his 57th birthday.

A video posted on Burj Khalifa’s Instagram page shows the world’s tallest building sparkling bright to wish SRK a very happy birthday.
The text “Happy Birthday Shah Rukh, Happy Birthday Pathaan. We love you” flashed on the screen as the track ‘Tujhe Dekha’ from Shah Rukh’s iconic 1995 film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ played in the backdrop.

After seeing images and videos of Burj Khalifa lit up with the message for SRK, fans were extremely happy.

“How beautiful,” a social media user commented.

“Shah Rukh is a global star. Hail the king,” another one wrote.

Reportedly, it’s for the fifth time that SRK has appeared on Burj Khalifa. In 2021, Burj Khalifa honored Shah Rukh on his 56th birthday. Burj Khalifa was lit up with the name of the actor to honor the actor on his birthday in 2020 as well.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh is all set to make his silver screen return after four years with ‘Pathaan’, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles. The action-packed film is scheduled to release on January 25, 2023.

Apart from ‘Pathaan’, SRK will be also seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming film ‘Dunki’ alongside Taapsee Pannu and in south director Atlee’s upcoming action thriller film ‘Jawan opposite south actor Nayanthara. (ANI)
