India Urges Canada To Respect Vienna Convention

India reiterated its call for Canada to respect the Vienna Convention on diplomatic relations amid reports of Khalistani elements disturbing a consular camp organised in Indian High Commission in Canada.

MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi, however, also said that there have been some inaccurate social media reports regarding the incidents.

Addressing the briefing, Bagchi said, “Our High Commission and consulates in Canada regularly organize consular camps. One such camp was organized near Vancouver on November 12 to provide life certificates to pensioners. The event was held successfully despite attempts by a few radical elements to cause trouble. Our Consul General was not present at that site”.

“We reiterate the need for nations to respect the Vienna Convention on diplomatic relations so that our diplomats can discharge their diplomatic obligations,” he added.

Speaking on the reports of an alleged attack on the Indian community during Diwali celebrations in Canada, the MEA spokesperson said that the consulate has not received any complaint regarding the incident.

“As regards to events that you alluded to near Brampton or Mississauga in Diwali. I think that was more in the nature of unrest between the two groups. To be honest, I don’t think there has been any complaint that our consulate has received. I saw some social media reports. We also understand that the authorities there are looking into that incident, so I don’t have anything further to add to that,” he further said.

This come amid the diplomatic standoff between New Delhi and Ottawa which erupted after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau alleged the involvement of “agents of the Indian government” in the killing of the Khalistani terrorist.

India rejected the allegations as “absurd and motivated” and expelled a Canadian diplomat in a tit-for-tat move after Ottawa asked a senior Indian diplomat to leave.

Notably, Canada has not been able to present any evidence to back its claims over the killing, according to the MEA.

Last month, Canada pulled out 41 diplomats from India and also halted its visa and consular services in Chandigarh, Mumbai, and Bengaluru consulates in the wake of the Union government’s decision to strip them of their immunity.

This came after New Delhi conveyed its concerns to Ottawa over the disproportionate number of diplomats in India and sought a ‘parity’ in diplomatic strength.

Canada accused India of violating the Vienna Convention. However, MEA responded by saying that no international norms were violated in India seeking parity in the mutual diplomatic presence in New Delhi and Ottawa.

New Delhi also halted visa services to Canada but later decided to resume services for four categories after a “considered review of the security situation”. (ANI)

Baniya Hun, Hisaab Lekar Aaya Hun: Shah In MP

Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the INDIA bloc and the Congress in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh alleging that the Congress was in no position to guarantee anything.

Addressing a rally in Vidisha, Amit Shah said “These INDI Alliance people and Congress people cannot do any good to the MP. Right now Congress has given 5 guarantees. I want to say that what guarantee will those give who do not have their own guarantee? Modi ji has done what he had said in these 9 years. I want to ask Kamal Nath that during the 10 years of UPA’s government at the Centre, how much money did the Sonia Gandhi-Manmohan Singh government give to the MP? From 2004-14, they gave Rs 2 lakh crore to MP and Modi ji increased it to Rs 6 lakh 35 thousand crore in 9 years. Apart from this, Rs 5 lakh crore were given for different schemes.”

” I am a trader; I have brought all the accounts (Main to Baniya hun pura hisaab lekar aaya hun),” he added.

Further, Home Minister Amit Shah announced that if his party forms the government in MP, then there will be an increase in various schemes of the centre for the state.

“Congress talks about the welfare of the poor. They did not eliminate poverty but only eliminated the poor. Modi ji has taken many steps for the poor in 9 years. Only in MP, Rs 6000 has been sent to the accounts of 93 lakh farmers every year. If our government forms, we will increase the price from Rs 6000 to Rs 12000. Tap water is supplied to the homes of 65 lakh poor people. Approximately 3 crore 70 lakh people are provided free of cost expenses up to Rs 5 lakh under Ayushman Bharat. If our government is formed, then in the coming days the free treatment of Rs 5 lakh will become Rs 10 lakh,” Amit Shah said.

Praising PM Modi, Amit Shah said that the country’s economy which was at number 11 has been brought to number 5 in just 9 years.

“Modi ji brought the heads of states from all over the world here and spread the flag of India’s diplomacy in the world with the Delhi Declaration. Modi ji has done the work of respecting women with 33 percent reservation in the House. Congress did the work of hanging the Ram temple issue. Rahul Baba used to say that the temple will be built there… but will not tell the date. The date is January 22, 2024,” Amit Shah said. (ANI)

Earthquake Nepal

India Sends Emergency Relief To Earthquake-Hit Nepal

India on Sunday sent an emergency aid package, comprising medical equipment, relief materials and more, for people affected by the magnitude 6.4 earthquake in Nepal.

The strong temblor, which even jolted the national capital and parts of north India, left 157 dead and scores injured.

Serving as the first responder, India shipped essential medicines and relief materials to assist the earthquake-affected communities.

This rapid response aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Neighbourhood First Policy,” External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said, emphasising India’s commitment to supporting its neighbouring nations in times of crisis.

“Providing emergency relief assistance to earthquake-affected areas of Nepal. As a first responder, India delivers medicines and relief material. PM Narendra Modi’s Neighbourhood First policy in action,” EAM Jaishankar posted from his official handle on X.

The first consignment of Rs 10 crore worth of emergency relief materials arrived at Nepalgunj, Nepal, on Sunday, the Indian Embassy in Nepal informed through an official release.

A special Indian Air Force C-130 flight transported the consignment of over 11 tonnes of emergency relief materials, including tents and tarpaulin sheets, blankets, and sleeping bags, as well as essential medicines and medical equipment such as portable ventilators, for the affected people, it said.

The relief materials were handed over by the Ambassador of India to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, on behalf of the Indian government to Nepal’s Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, Purna Bahadur Khadka, in the presence of Chief Minister of Karnali, Raj Kumar Sharma.

Further consignments of relief materials from India are expected to arrive in the erstwhile Himalayan kingdom in the coming days.

As a close friend and neighbour, India remains committed to extending all possible support to those affected by the earthquake in Nepal, the MEA added.

The emergency aid package to Nepal reaffirmed India’s commitment to be the first responder in crisis situations in its neighbourhood and beyond. Following the 2015 earthquake in Nepal, New Delhi was the first responder as it carried out its largest disaster relief operation abroad — ‘Operation Maitri’.

India had also extended USD 1 billion to Nepal as part of its long-term assistance for post-earthquake reconstruction in the housing, education, health, and cultural heritage sectors, which included the reconstruction of 50,000 houses in Nepal’s Gorkha and Nuwakot districts, the MEA release said.

Meanwhile, Nepal’s Ministry of Home Affairs, in collaboration with the Armed Police Force and UNICEF, dispatched critical relief supplies to Jajarkot and Rukum West in Nepal. The relief materials include 6,263 tarps, 1,250 tents, 300 blankets, and 2,050 sleeping bags, all aimed at providing essential shelter and comfort to the affected families.

Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, along with a team of ministers and lawmakers, took the lead in delivering these relief supplies to the affected areas. The team comprises Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Prakash Jwala, Health Minister Mohan Bahadur Basnet, Energy Minister Shakti Basnet, and MP Janardan Sharma, among others.

Nepal’s Prime Minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, also emphasised the importance of relief and rescue efforts in the affected regions. He noted that while relief and rescue operations have been conducted in a certain manner thus far, further intensified efforts are in the pipeline. In a significant decision, the Cabinet has decided to adopt a new approach, including the construction of earthquake relief homes, for resettlement in the affected areas. This approach will prioritise the pre-positioning of disaster relief materials in all districts, according to the Nepal PMO.

Even as the search and rescue operation for the Nepal earthquake ends, the focus has shifted to mobilising aid to those affected by the disaster. Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha highlighted the importance of extending assistance to those affected by the earthquake.

“The search and rescue operation for the Nepal earthquake is over,” Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha told ANI.

This earthquake not only impacted Nepal but also sent tremors across several districts of North India, including Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences for the lives lost and the extensive damage caused by the earthquake in Nepal. He reaffirmed India’s willingness to extend all possible assistance to Nepal in the aftermath of this natural disaster.

The Director of the National Center for Seismology (NCS), OP Mishra, underlined on Saturday how the building structures contributed to exacerbating the damage from the earthquake.

He emphasised that while the intensity in Nepal was significant, the magnitude of 6.4 was a measure of its energy content, and it is the structures that determine the extent of damage and loss during such events. (ANI)

Bhutan King On 8-Day Official Visit To India

Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck arrived in Assam for an official visit to India from November 3-10. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma received the Bhutan Royal at the Guwahati airport.

King Wnagchuck is accompanied by senior officials of the royal government of Bhutan.

Himanta Biswa Sarma said he is “elated” to welcome Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.

Taking to X, Sarma stated, “On behalf of the people of Assam, I am elated to welcome His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the King of Bhutan. Under the guidance of our Hon’ble Prime Minister, we look forward to the strengthening of the special relationship between our two countries.”

Taking to X, Ministry of External Affairs official spokesperson Arindam Bagchi stated, “A warm welcome to His Majesty the King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck on his first official visit to Assam. Welcomed by CM @himantabiswa at the Guwahati airport.”

During his visit, Bhutan King will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of External Affairs said in an official statement. Furthermore, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and senior officials of the Indian government will call on Bhutan King.

The Bhutanese King is also slated to travel to Maharashtra.

The Ministry of External Affairs in a statement said, “India and Bhutan enjoy unique ties of friendship and cooperation, which are characterized by understanding and mutual trust. The visit would provide an opportunity to both the sides to review the entire gamut of bilateral cooperation and to further advance the exemplary bilateral partnership, across diverse sectors.”

Earlier, this April the Bhutanese king had visited India and met with President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.

Briefing reporters after the April 5 meeting between PM Modi and the Bhutan King, Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra had said the two countries are examining and considering setting up the first Integrated Check Post (ICP) along India-Bhutan border.

Responding to a volley of questions on remarks of Bhutan Prime Minister which were perceived to be at variance with Thimpu’s earlier stance on the boundary issue vis-a-vis China, Kwatra said India and Bhutan remain in close touch, in close coordination relating to shared national interests, including security interest.

He said both countries maintain a longstanding tradition of very close consultations on matters relating to their mutual interest including security and “in this context the intertwined and indivisible nature of our security concerns is self-evident”. (ANI)

Working on upgrading its fleet of its Russian-origin Su-30 MKI combat aircraft, the Indian Air Force is planning to equip them with an indigenous advanced radar named ‘Virupaaksha’.

The Indian Air Force is working on the upgrade programme of the Su-30MKI fleet under a package worth over Rs 65,000 crore where 84 planes would be upgraded indigenously with advanced made in India radars and weapon systems.

“The Virupaaksha is an advanced radar being developed indigenously. This would be a strong push to the indigenisation process in military sector,” defence officials told ANI.

Virupaaksha is one of the names of god Mahadev worshipped by Hindus living across the world.

The Su-30 fighter jets are the mainstay of Indian Air Force with 260 of them already in service. The jets have been inducted in different batches and have now form around 50 per cent of the fighter fleet.

The Su-30MKI fleet upgrade plan is also seen by the Indian Air Force as an opportunity for exports as many countries in the south east Asia and Africa operate the plane and can use these solutions for providing advanced capabilities to their fleets.

India is one of the largest operators of the Su-30MKI fighters and has constantly equipped the planes with new capabilities. (ANI)

Kohli Smashes 48th ODI Ton As India Beat Bangladesh By Seven Wickets

An explosive first wicket partnership between skipper Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill, followed by Virat Kohli’s 48th ODI ton sealed India a seven-wicket win over Bangladesh in their ICC Cricket World Cup match at Pune on Thursday.

With four wins in four matches, India is at the second spot in the points table with eight points. New Zealand is at the top with a better net-run-rate. Bangladesh is at the seventh spot with one win and three losses.

In the chase of 257, India started off brilliantly, with openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill seeing off any powerplay threats by Bangladesh.

Fifty runs were up for India in just nine overs.

At the end of the first powerplay, India was at 63/0, with Gill (26) and Rohit (37) unbeaten. Gill had smacked Nasum Ahmed for two sixes in the same over.

Shubman continued to pick up speed, smashing Mustafizur Ahmed for three fours in the next over.

Hasan Mahmud picked the prized scalp of skipper Rohit for 48 in 40 balls, with seven fours and two sixes. India was 88/1 in 12.4 overs after Rohit was caught by Towhid Hridoy at deep square leg while attempting his signature pull shot.

After some extra runs via no ball and Virat Kohli making full use of free hits, 100-run was up for India in 12.5 overs.

Gill reached his first WC fifty in 52 balls, with five fours and two sixes. He was soon dismissed by Mehidy Hasan Miraz for 53 off 55 balls, after being caught by Mahmadullah. India was 132/2 in 19.2 overs.

Following this, Shreyas Iyer and Virat took the innings forward. 150-run mark was up for India in 22.4 overs.

Virat reached his third fifty of WC 2023 in 48 balls, with four boundaries and a six.

The pairing of Mahmadullah-Miraz once again ended a budding partnership, removing Iyer for 19 after he was caught by the former at deep midwicket. India was 178/3 in 29.1 overs.

KL Rahul and Virat took India to the 200-run mark in 33.3 overs.

Virat sealed his 48th ODI ton, 78th international ton and India’s win with a six, finishing at 261/3 in 41.3 overs.

Mehidy took two wickets for Bangladesh, Hasan got one.

Earlier, Bangladesh’s explosive start was eclipsed by India’s clinical bowling as they set a target of 257 in the ongoing World Cup on Thursday at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

Bangladesh openers Tanzid Hasan and Litton Das were dominating the powerplay, pulling off some well-timed shots to find boundaries on a surface that was assisting batters.

They managed to put up a score of 90-0 in the first 14 overs with a healthy run rate. Drinks were called and after the resumption of the match, India completely turned the tides in their favour.

But before Bangladesh’s downfall commenced, Hardik Pandya injured himself and walked off the field.

Pandya came to bowl his first over of the game in the ninth over and was smashed for two successive fours in the second and third deliveries by Litton Das.

While attempting to stop the second four, Pandya tried to use his right leg to stop the ball but slipped and twisted his ankle.

Kuldeep Yadav resumed the innings and on the fourth ball after the game dismissed Tanzid Hasan for 51. A flipper did the trick as Hasan failed to read the ball, tired to go for a sweep but couldn’t read the line as the ball struck the pads right in front of the wickets.

Najmul Hossain Shanto came in to avoid further loss of wickets, both batters looked comfortable until the 20th over. Jadeja got better off Shanto to end his day for a score of 8.

Mohammed Siraj claimed Mehidy Hasan Miraz’s wicket with KL Rahul taking a stunner behind the stumps showcasing India’s prowess in the field.

Jadeja claimed his second by removing set batter Litton Das for 66. In the next 10 overs, Towhid Hridoy and Mushfiqur Rahim stabalised Bangladesh’s innings. Shardul Thakur ended the dangerous-looking partnership by claiming Hridoy’s (16) wicket who was struggling for rhythm.

Jaspri Bumrah decided to join the party by dismissing Mushfiqur (38) with a moment of brilliance in the field as Jadeja took an unbelievable catch.

Mahmudullah took on Shardul to claim 15 runs in the 46th over and push Bangladesh towards a score of 260.

However, a pinpoint yorker in the final over from Bumrah ended his stay on the pitch as he walked back with a score of 46.

Shoriful Islam struck a six in the final ball to take Bangladesh’s score to 256.

Brief Score: Bangladesh 256/8 (Litton Das 66, Tanzid Hasan 51; Ravindra Jadeja 2-38) vs India. (ANI)

ICC CWC 2023: Hardik Twists Ankle During Bangladesh Clash

In a terrible development for the Indian side, all-rounder Hardik Pandya injured himself and walked off the field during the ICC Cricket World Cup match against Bangladesh at Pune’s MCA Stadium on Thursday.

In the match between India and Bangladesh, Bangladesh was off to a fine start. Pandya came to bowl his first over of the game in the ninth over and was smashed for two successive fours in second and third deliveries by Litton Das.

While attempting to stop the second four, Pandya tried to use his right leg to stop the ball but slipped and twisted his ankle. He appeared to be in pain and got some treatment on his left leg and his ankle was taped. Pandya had a small practice run but did not look good and had to be taken off the field.

Star batter Virat Kohli, who normally rarely bowls no matter what format, completed the rest of the over for Pandya.

Hardik’s fitness is extremely crucial for India’s World Cup chances because as a pace-bowling all-rounder, he helps the pace trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami/Shardul Thakur with some overs of his own and gets crucial wickets too. With the bat, Pandya at number six is capable of anchoring the innings and doing some power-hitting, depending on the situation.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) updated the fans later about Pandya through their X (formerly Twitter) account.

“Hardik Pandya’s injury is being assessed at the moment and he is being taken for scans,” tweeted BCCI.

He has taken five wickets so far in the tournament. He has not got a chance to bat only once, scoring 11* against Australia.

Coming to the match, Bangladesh stand-in captain Najmul Hossain Shanto won the toss and opted to bat first against India in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 clash here at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Thursday.

Bangladesh’s regular skipper Shakib Al Hasan, who is battling an injury, opted to sit out this clash while India announced an unchanged team.

After registering back-to-back three victories in the ongoing World Cup, Rohit Sharma-led Team India is on a red-hot streak and will aim to keep their unbeaten record going against Bangladesh.

Bangladesh (Playing XI): Litton Das, Tanzid Hasan, Najmul Hossain Shanto(c), Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Towhid Hridoy, Mushfiqur Rahim(w), Mahmudullah, Nasum Ahmed, Hasan Mahmud, Mustafizur Rahman and Shoriful Islam.

India (Playing XI): Rohit Sharma(c), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul(w), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj. (ANI)

Telangana IT and Industries minister, KT Rama Rao (KTR), while addressing the public in Telangana Bhavan, hit out at the Congress party saying that the party is the C-Team of the country that means “chor team”.

“Yesterday Rahul Gandhi said we are B- team of BJP. We are not BJP’s B team, you are the only C-team in the country. C-team means “chor team”. You have done A to Z scams. A means Adarsh scam, B means Bofors scam, C means Commonwealth scam and if we continue to say, it still will go on till Z,” KTR said.

He further said that the Congress party has looted the country, they have not left out anything starting from the Agusta Westland helicopter deal in the skies to the coal in the underground.

Referring to the ministers of the Congress who have gone to jail, he said,”Your central ministers have gone to jail. Finally, there is an ED investigation that is happening even on Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi in connection with the National Herald case. They come and say B team and C team, but I only want to ask one thing today we are not B team you are only C team, the Chor Team.”

Continuing his attack on Congress he claimed that Revanth Reddy will split the Congress if 10 or 12 candidates are able to win in the Assembly polls and join the BJP.

“Rahul Gandhi you do not know about Revanth Reddy. He is a covert placed by the BJP in your party. He is a BJP agent in Congress. Tomorrow if 10 or 12 win, he will make him sit in BJP for sure,” he said alleging that Revanth has been plotted by the BJP in the Congress.

He further said that Rahul Gandhi might not have knowledge about this thing, but those who are next to him know about it.

“BJP has plotted Revanth Reddy in Congress. He will swallow the entire party tomorrow and later he will be sold to BJP. We are not a B team, it is you who is the C team of BJP. In this country, you, your Congress party is Chor team,” he added.

Earlier today, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi slammed the K. Chandrashekar Rao government in Telangana accusing it of being the most corrupt in the country and being controlled by one family.

Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav

Tension Rises Within INDIA Alliance As Akhilesh Alleges Cong Of Betrayal

Amid rising tensions within the INDIA alliance , Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday alleged that some “Congress leaders are siding with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)”, adding that he would not have trusted the grand old party if he had known that “Congress would betray them”.

He further said he was unaware of the fact that the INDIA bloc has been formed at the national level to defeat the BJP and the alliance partners are not fighting together at the state level.

Akhilesh yadav’s responded fiercely when reporters asked him about his reaction on Congress Uttar Pradesh chief Ajay Rai’s statement that if Congress had fought Ghosi, they (SP) might have lost the seat.

“The state chief has no authority. He was not there in the meeting held at Patna, Mumbai. What does he know about the INDIA alliance?… These people from Congress are siding or involved with the BJP,” the SP leader said while talking to reporters in Sitapur.

SP chief further said that he would not have trusted them if he had known that people from Congress would betray us.

“If I had known that the alliance is not on the state level then I would not have sent SP leaders to Digvijaya Singh…I would not have trusted them if I had known that people from Congress would betray us,” he added.

The Congress’s UP unit chief Ajay Rai has asked the SP to withdraw from MP in favour of the grand old party as the Akhilesh Yadav-led party, he said, did not have any base there.

On Tuesday, while speaking to reporters about the allocation of seats in the INDIA alliance in Madhya Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav said that the Congress party should clarify who will get how many seats in the alliance and whether the alliance will be at a national level or on a state level.

Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party (SP) has released its second list of candidates for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh assembly polls, according to an official statement issued by the party on Wednesday.

The party has declared the names of a total of 22 candidates in the second list.

Madhya Pradesh is one of the five states set to hold elections this year. The state is scheduled to vote on November 17, with the vote count taking place on December 3.

Voters will choose legislators from 230 Assembly constituencies.

The Kamal Nath government collapsed in March 2021 when 22 sitting Congress MLAs resigned under the leadership of Jyotiraditya Scindia and joined the BJP. Subsequently, the BJP formed the government in the state, with Shivraj Singh Chouhan taking office as Chief Minister. (ANI)

World Cup 2023: Red-Hot India To Face Bangladesh Today

The Rohit Sharma-led red-hot team India aim to continue its winning streak in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 at home as they face Bangladesh at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune today.

The rivalry between India and Bangladesh has grown in recent years, as the 2011 World Cup champions have found the Bangla Tigers to be a difficult side to crack.

The two Asian cricket giants are set to clash in the 17th match of the ongoing World Cup 2023 in Pune today at 2:00 PM IST.

India, who are riding high on confidence, will back themselves to keep their winning streak alive as this match follows India’s three previous victories against Australia, Afghanistan, and their arch-rivals Pakistan. The Men in Blue have dominated the head-to-head record in ODI matches, with 31 wins in 40 total matches. On the other hand, Bangladesh has won 8 matches.

Three of India’s 31 victories over Bangladesh came at home. Meanwhile, Bangladesh has won six games at home but is yet to win a game away from home.

The last time these two Asian giants faced each other was in the Super Four match of the Asia Cup 2023. In which, the Men in Blue lost the game by six runs.

With the exception of a rough start in the second innings of their opening World Cup match against Australia, which was overcome by a steady stand between Virat Kohli and KL Rahul, India hasn’t allowed a game to slip away from them in the ongoing tournament.

Bangladesh will aim to rebound in Pune, after a victory in their first World Cup match the Tigers have suffered back-to-back crushing defeats.

In all of their defeats, the opponents gained the upper hand early in the game, forcing Bangladesh to play catch-up.

But the Shakib Al Hasan-led team will know they have everything they need to stun India. The team features a lot of veteran players, including those who have previously won against India.

India squad: Rohit Sharma (C), Hardik Pandya (Vc), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav.
